I love the "weight gain from eating junk food" as much as the next person but does anyone else feel it gets boring? Like let's ignore the perpetuation of like food myths of things being 'unhealthy' and 'healthy' or the idea that eating a lot of food = fat. And genuinely this is no diss at anyone who enjoys this, I just, I don't know, it just feels like an overused narrative trope these days. Like in the 2000s when they introduced the love triangle and then it got over popularized and it no longer became interesting. The misscomunication trope that just showed honestly how our society doesn't teach us how to communicate. Idk it just feels like an overused trope. Give me fat people who eat a shit ton of carbs and natural sugars and still gain weight. Or give me weight gain from decadent indulgence like a bacchanal or a feast fit for a king. Or someone gaining weight from homemade food. And yall please describe the food. Describe the sensory experience, it enhances the story and it makes it so much more hotter. Like imagine your weight gain story featuring person A, eating person's B peach cobbler and them talking about the warmth of the peach cobbler colliding with the coolness of ice cream. Or the flake crust with the glazed and soft peaches. I guess call this kinky writing advice, feedism edition? Like I don't know yall, let's spice up the stories a bit.

I've been feeling really lonely lately, so getting all the love from everyone who sent happy birthday wishes (special shoutout to @crispysnake and @waltwhitmansbeard for spoiling me) helped me realize that there's people out there who care.

not doing this in anon but like..to this whole convo about the kin ocs thing..like...i have people who has alters (coughcough my partner with my oc margarita!) and who kins my ocs and like..yeah people cant control it. that why i dont put the rule on my blog since i know its not possible to stop it lol. i understand why people on blogs would say that but at the same time like..we cant control our kins lol. do you think i want to kin lumi from fnf. yk the one who turned gf to stone???? nope!!! but do i control it? nope! tbh idk what my god damn ramble was about but uh..ig tldr we cant control our kins and those people who rlly think they can control people kinning there ocs is..legit impossible- only thing you can rlly do is "dont mention you kin my oc around me" or smth like that yk? not a kin confession but i felt like saying this off anon lol

if you are new at being an adult/living on your own (especially if you started out adulthood or post grad life during the early days of the pandemic) and feel lonely despite having friends and people you talk to, please invite people to hang out at your place. this sounds like stupid advice but not enough people take it to heart. “oh we’re not that close” that’s how you get that close!!! I cannot emphasize enough how much your friends don’t care if you have socks on the floor or some dishes in the sink or a cramped apartment that doesn’t look very nice or some central activity to keep them entertained. invite people over. don’t limit yourself to things that cost money and exist only in public. let yourself be with people in the intimacy of your own home. the number of times a friend has come over and just started doing the dishes for me or I’ve sat matching socks while they folded their laundry on the floor. let them bring some snacks instead of venmoing each other for takeout. provide some tea or alcohol or whatever you like and can afford. you don’t need an excuse to see people. you don’t need an excuse to let them see you.

It's May 5th. ⚔️ On this day in 1862, in the Battle of Puebla, 4,000 poorly-equipped Mexican Army troops led by General Ignacio Zaragoza defeated 6,000 soldiers of the powerful Second French Empire led by General Charles de Lorencez. The victory galvanized Mexican resistance against the European invaders, who six years later grew weary of the fight and withdrew. 

Puebla de Los Angeles, the site of Zaragoza’s historic victory, was renamed Puebla de Zaragoza in honor of the general. Today, Mexicans celebrate the anniversary of the battle as Cinco de Mayo. The city of Puebla marks the event with dramatic battle reenactments and exuberant fiestas which feature Mariachi bands, piñatas, Mexican food and beverages, and fun.
