Legion of Nurgle: Pallid Nurslings

The Pallid Nurslings are a Nurglish Host situated far, far south of world, nearer to the Southern Wastes than the northern. It shares a continent with Lizardmen and Skaven, namely clans Pestilens and Spittel. While it’s relationship with the ratkin can be tumultuous, it’s view of the Lizardmen is permanently and mutually hostile and war between the two can grow so violent as to attract the attentions of the local Khornate Blood Pack, the Blood Keepers.

The Nurslings are led by Great Unclean One Methanion the Mephitic and Herald of Nurgle Quakeooze Seventh-Blister. Though one wouldn’t guess it for the distance, Methanion -- the dominant of the two Plague Lords -- is yet another spawn of Poxdame Ki-litzli and former resident of the Forest of Tines. Like his sibling Dungrut, he is also a black sheep, but instead of coming to blows with the Matriarch over it, he simply packs himself and his children up and finds fortune elsewhere. He is invited by Dungrut to join forces, so that they might crush Blistrorgal, but Methanion harbors no ill will for his two siblings and decides to leave their feud between them. He finds a fondness with Seventh-Blister after moving away.

Legion of Nurgle: Maggoth Kin

The Maggoth Kin are a Chaos Waste dwelling legion of Nurgle and is a host home to both daemons and mortals. They are breeders and tamers of Maggoths, massive maggot-like creatures looked upon with awe and fear by the followers of Nurgle and terror and disgust by those who reject him. Situated near the costs of the Kraken sea, it’s leader, the Great Unclean One Dungrut, Lord of Beetles, is the sponsor of many a Nurglish Champion or aspiring Nurglish champion and those he favors in particular are gifted one of his Pox Maggoths to ride into battle. He has a Fondness for Dung Beetles, creatures that reside in Araby and to provide him with one is to earn his affection for a time.

Dungrut is a more temperamental Stench Lord and while usually placid, his rages invite comparison to the Khornates to either side of him. The target of this fury is almost invariably his sibling in decay, Blistrorgal of Septic Claw. A fellow former denizen of the Witherbone Clan, the Herald has long been Dungrut’s detested rival for Ki’litzi’s motherly affections and funnily enough, the Beetle Lord despises the Herald more than the Tzeentchians just north of his lands.

Legion of Nurgle: The Septic Claw

The Septic Claw is a Chaos Waste dwelling legion of Nurgle situated very near to the Chaos Realm proper. Though not particularly powerful or noteworthy in their own right, it is known that this host once shared tolerable, and at times even friendly, relations with the Exiles of Khorne. It’s leader, a Death-wind Wielding Herald of Nurgle named Blistrorgal Witherbone, is the blight-scion of the legendary Poxdame Ki’litzi and although his origins are mortal, the Great Unclean One treats the tallyman like one of her own, body-borne nurglings.

Originally hailing from the Forest of Tines and the Witherbone Clan situated within, Blistrorgal struck out on his own to pursue a grudge against the Exalted Lord of Change Teritus of the Broken Wheel. However, in leaving the protective embrace of his clan and home, opened himself up to aggressions by the family outcast, Dungrut the Beetle Master and his followers the Maggoth Kin.
