A franciaországi Eurexpo Lyonban megrendezett Salon du 2 Roues nagy sikert aratott: a március 7-10. közötti négy nap alatt több mint 150 000 látogatót fogadott. A Nemzetközi Motorkerékpáros Szövetség (FIM) első alkalommal volt jelen több mint 300 m2-es kiállítótérrel. A Spirit of Speed a Történelmi Országúti Motorkerékpárok Európai Gyűjtőklubjával közösen több mint harminc motorkerékpárt választott ki 1904-től napjainkig, amelyek a FIM 120 történetét ölelték fel. A lelátó zsúfolásig megtelt a nézőkkel a számukra szentelt pillanatok alatt, olyan bajnokok jelenlétében, mint Giacomo Agostini, a tizenötszörös FIM Grand Prix világbajnok, James Toseland, a kétszeres FIM Superbike világbajnok, a kétszeres FIM Supersport világbajnok Sebastien Charpentier, Eugene Laverty, a korábbi 250cc, MotoGP, Supersport és WorldSBK versenyző, valamint Greg Black és Etienne Masson többszörös FIM Endurance világbajnokok. Végül pedig a francia versenyzőnők, Emily Bondi és Ornella Ongaro, akik részt vesznek a FIM Női Körverseny Világbajnokságon, amely június 16-án kezdődik Misano Adriaticóban (Olaszországban), . Nagy érdeklődést váltott ki a Nemzetközi Motorkerékpáros Szövetség 120. évfordulóján elindított Örökség program, a FIM versenymotorok tanúsítása. A FIM által kiadott tanúsítvány lehetőséget ad a gyűjtőknek, hogy megszerezzék az azonosító táblát, amely igazolja a motorkerékpár eredetiségét, szigorúan valamelyik következő versenyekről származik: MotoGP, Superbike, Supersport, Endurance, Formula, Sidecar és Landspeed rekord. A tulajdonosok, gyűjtők és múzeumok büszkélkedhetnek majd a rangos plakettel és egy QR-kóddal, amelyen keresztül a motorkerékpár műszaki és történelmi jellemzőivel kapcsolatos összes információ elérhető lesz. The action takes place in Gaul under the Roman occupation, and exposes the love affair between Pollione, Roman proconsul, Norma, his former companion, and the young Adalgisa. The background is the uprising of the Gallic people against the occupier, led by the druid Oroveso.

Norma, high priestess of the druidic temple who had two children of Pollione (breaking her chastity vows) Roman proconsul, discovers that her lover is in love with her friend a young priestess Adalgisa. Norma tries to convince him to give up Adalgisa and return to her, but he refuses. Norma then publicly confesses her fault and is sentenced to death. Pollione is convicted for pursuing Adalgisa in the temple and goes to the stake with Norma.

jonah lehrer proust bir sinirbilimciydi’de kendi alanlarına damga vurmuş sekiz isim üzerinden, sanatçıların bilim alanında kanıtlanmış olguları bilimcilerden önce sezgileriyle öngördüklerini herkesçe anlaşılır bir dille anlatıyor. bunu yaparken duygularla düşünceler arasındaki ayrıma olduğu gibi, sanatla bilim arasındaki katı işbölümüne de karşı çıkıyor ve yeni bir yol, “dördüncü kültür” yolunu öneriyor. fakat dördüncü bir kültüre ulaşabilmemiz için öncelikle sahip olduğumuz iki kültürün alışkanlıklarını değiştirmesi gerekir. hepsinden önce, beşeri bilimler samimi bir adımla pozitif bilimlerle bağ kurmalıdır. proust bir sinirbilimciydi bu yolda atılmış önemli bir adım.

Koehler Escoffier (Monet Goyon) Type: KAL3, 250cc ohv engine. Power output 7.5 HP, four speed. This model was produced in Macon factory at 72 rue du Pavillon from 1937 to 1942. Equivalent Monet & Goyon model was AL3.

Koehler-Escoffier is a French motorcycle brand, founded in 1912 by Marcel Escoffier and Julius Koehler, a former mechanic at Magnat-Debon. Monet-Goyon took over the company in 1929, and after 1945 machines of both marques were virtually identical. Production ceased in 1957 when Monet-Goyon folded.

There are no singing teapots in Jean Cocteau's Beauty and the Beast, but there's more than enough magic -- almost too much to provide a satisfactory ending, hence Greta Garbo's alleged lament, "Give me back my Beast." This is a fairy tale old style, which means that there's something unsettling about the happily-ever-after. Why does the Beast revert to the form of Avenant, whom it is never quite clear that Belle really loves? Where are they sailing off to at the end? Why does Belle seem oddly not quite enraptured with the turn of events? It's a sublimely erotic, if slightly kinky, film: I love the moment when, making his exit after seeing Belle, the Beast reaches out to caress the bare breast of a statue, as if copping a feel denied to him by his deeply conflicted nature. "Love can make a beast of a man," says the Prince at the end, and it's Cocteau's great achievement that this idea simmers beneath the surface of the entire film.
