My million dollars is looking less and less attractive after leaving my job at Jojo’s customer service center in Grampleton. Making a profit during spring felt nearly impossible, but now that I’ve cleared most of my field, I’m making a small profit over the cost of seeds and getting my tools upgraded in town. It’s.. just the idea of trading this small-town life for ‘reality’ again, you know? I was wildly nervous about being dumped in the middle of nowhere and whacked into Manxburgers by a hungry camp of bokoblins, but it wasn’t to be! The timestamps on my switch vs my computer decided my fate. Mind you, I really, really would have enjoyed the chance to be a certain sandy-haired swordsman’s plaything for a few months, but if I’m honest, I have a snowball’s chance in hell in Hyrule.

I named my puppy Sandy, for that matter. She’s keeping me sane, besides the small chats with the townsfolk. Just imagine, one day you’re tech support and the next, a homesteader? Marni is still trying pretty hard to tempt me with those cute little fuzzy chicks so I can build a steady income for the winter; I’m not sure if I’ll be able to save enough for building a silo and a hutch within that timeframe though. There’s plenty of eligable bachelors in town too. Gus is good and subtle while handing drinks over the counter at the saloon, but the boys aren’t all that much to write home about. Or maybe it’s messing with my head just how close I’ve come to getting to meet mister Master Sword. ARGH!
