"Man on the Line" Directed by Matthew & Kyle Robinson
I’ve seen countless short films that try hard to emulate the tone and feeling of cinema within the silent era, and I must say that this little film succeeds where many others have failed by breathing new life into the genre. It’s an experimental piece about a man fishing and the many adventures revolving around that. Tipping it’s hat to influences such as Chaplin and film noir, this film not only brings laughs but actively encourages the viewer to interpret it’s surreal and bizarre images. Enjoy.
