An earnest small-town man heads to Delhi to become a police officer, facing systemic adversity at every turn ahead of the notorious civil service exams.

An excellent, thought-provoking, and heartwarming story. I highly recommend it because, while 12th Fail may be about a man from extreme poverty in India, its message about resilience, corruption, and fighting against the odds is universal. In my humble opinion, this is a movie where you will not waste your time. I absolutely loved it, and I am so glad I came across it on Netflix. A definite must-watch if you also love stories about the underdog.
