If you're willing to share, what are your thoughts and opinions on the whole "dire wolf" situation?

They are not "Dire Wolves"
You can't do some gene editing to a gray wolf, and call it a dire wolf.
My feelings are summed up well in this article:
Scientists: No, those are definitely not 'resurrected' dire wolves

return of the silly little guys !! in keeping with my " have all mobs from mo'creatures " goal for naturality , here's one of the creatures for the first / second ( havent decided yet ) update :: the raccoon !!
they are foils to possums and chitter at them when confronted . they can be tamed and will defend their owners . birds are scared of them .

New fossil carnivoran mammals unearthed in the Himalayan foothills
Ancient Carnivores Discovered!
The Siwaliks, part of the outer Himalayas, span Pakistan, India, Nepal, and Bhutan. Fossils found here reveal a rich diversity of mammals that lived between 18 million and 1 million years ago. These include animals like elephants, rhinoceroses, hippos, giraffe-like creatures, rodents, primates, and carnivores. A team of researchers, including Dr. Steven Jasinski from Harrisburg University, has published a study on fossil carnivoran mammals from the Himalayan foothills in northern India. They described new specimens of these mammals that lived between 10 and 4 million years ago. The study reveals that these newly discovered fossils shed fresh light on our understanding of carnivorous mammals. Among the finds are mustelids, viverrids, and felids (cats)...

@loriannah :
"Here's more close up and personal slow motion footage taken of yesterday's Common dolphin megapod. Some just feet away, splashing us as they swam along side. These cetaceans were seen coming in hot, catching us while we were whale watching off the coast of San Clemente, California. Suddenly they sped up and the HUGE stampede began.
I've seen a lot of megapods yet never as large as this group!
It was insane!
Estimated at approximately 5000 dolphins.”

Have you done English spot rabbits (oryctolagus cuniculus)?
I don't do breeds and morphs, but I'll do a poll on the European rabbit and include a photo of an English spot rabbit :)
Second photo thanks to u/Herodias on Reddit. Wild European rabbits are an endangered species. Outside of their native range, Feral European rabbits are an invasive species, found in parts of Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and South America.

(left > right, top > bottom: canyon bat, some sort of generic vesper bat & leaf nosed bat, visored bat & pendlebury roundleaf bat, flying fox)
