I love how I see people constantly suggest that the reason Ricky Starks and Danhausen aren't being featured on television is because they're friends/close to CM Punk. It's such an awful argument when you consider:

FTR were in a trios team with him up until Punk was fired.

Both Darby Allin and Brody King took a picture with Punk literally last week.

Hell, Malaki Black (who I am going to deliberately not tag, despite the fact that I know he has a Tumblr account) has/had apparently been a fan of CM Punk's for ages, considering back in 2003, Black commented on one of Punk's goddamn Livejournal posts.

Unless the username "tommy_end" to a guy name Tommy who is "a fan from Holland" just happens to be one of the biggest coincidences in wrestling history.

Plus there's almost assuredly plenty of other people who hold Punk in some level of regard that are active on AEW.

Would I like to see Ricky and Danhausen back on AEW television? Yeah. I think Ricky is genuinely pretty great, and Danhausen has an amazing character that's consistently entertaining to me.

I don't even like Punk that much (it's... complicated), and I think reducing their lack of television time to just "CM LMAO" is probably more than a bit inaccurate. There's obviously more to this than we're able to know.
