I love how I see people constantly suggest that the reason Ricky Starks and Danhausen aren't being featured on television is because they're friends/close to CM Punk. It's such an awful argument when you consider:

FTR were in a trios team with him up until Punk was fired.

Both Darby Allin and Brody King took a picture with Punk literally last week.

Hell, Malaki Black (who I am going to deliberately not tag, despite the fact that I know he has a Tumblr account) has/had apparently been a fan of CM Punk's for ages, considering back in 2003, Black commented on one of Punk's goddamn Livejournal posts.

Unless the username "tommy_end" to a guy name Tommy who is "a fan from Holland" just happens to be one of the biggest coincidences in wrestling history.

Plus there's almost assuredly plenty of other people who hold Punk in some level of regard that are active on AEW.

Would I like to see Ricky and Danhausen back on AEW television? Yeah. I think Ricky is genuinely pretty great, and Danhausen has an amazing character that's consistently entertaining to me.

I don't even like Punk that much (it's... complicated), and I think reducing their lack of television time to just "CM LMAO" is probably more than a bit inaccurate. There's obviously more to this than we're able to know.

1.Eddie Kingston

Eddie has been around for years. A top guy on the indies and came into AEW on FIRE with his Moxley feud. His passionate promos and brawler style can make him a Stone Cold esque champion for AEW

2.Brian Pillman Jr

The PWI rookie of the year winner is immensely talented and if his recent confrontation with MJF proves anything. He is destined for greatness and soon. Hes so charismatic and good at every aspect he can definitely become the star his father was if not bigger

3.Malakai Black

Malakai Black is the imposing horror movie villain of the company right now with his week by week takedown of the Nightmare Family. He’s got the potential to become a even darker figure and as world champion could be the same kind of villain that 90s Undertaker was

4.Adam Cole

Adam Cole is still very much in his prime and should definitely be in contention for the championship in a post-Elite landscape. I remember his early ROH days and this man has skyrocketed and I see him being just as good of a champion in AEW that he was in ROH and most recently in NXT

5.Miro

I LOVE the God’s Favorite Champion gimmick. Its a character that irks you but done very well by Miro. This guy said its his goal to be the AEW champion. Whether he keeps this gimmick after his time in the TNT title scene isnt as important as the fact that hes still over and should try to top of the card

6.Nick Comoroto

Comoroto has been a henchman for QT Marshall for a few months now. But theres real potential. His Bruiser Brody appearance and gimmick are fascinating to me and he could ascend to where he belongs if given the right chance

7.Men of the Year

While these guys definitely have the tag titles in their future. Sky and Page are amazing on their own too. Im fine with either of these hardworking nutcases becoming a world champion

8.Wardlow

This mammoth of a man, when he eventually does exit his partnership with MJF, will be a hot button item. He’s one of the best big men and i could see him in both a babyface and heel champion role

9.Ricky Starks

The FTW champion is not only a great character but his matches are fun to watch too. He’s got charisma oozing as well as talent as we’ve seen in both NWA and AEW

10.John Silver

The Dark Order is doing great (I HOPE) and there’s definitely some solo champion material in the faction. The reason i chose Silver was that he’s been undoubtedly a big stand out in the group. Getting shots at the TNT title and getting massive pops. I could see him being the Dark Order’s (or solo) AEW champion
