✨ Fence headcannons✨/silly scenarios i can see them in ig (cus looking at the fence tag was the whole reason i made this acc despite posting fence content like never)
-Nicholas can play Table tennis really well (i can see him learning through playing with his friends in his neighbours rickety ping pong setup and worn out racket) (it matches well with his strengths too like speed + reaction time + good eye for opponents weak spots)
-Aiden is really good at remembering names and faces if its related to drama (or if they are Harvards ex💀)
-Aiden is either abysmal or a god at golf and i cant seem to decide which vibes make the most sense
-Most of Eugenes family are/used to be athletes or plays a sport recreationally ( its just vibes man like 🤷♀️)
-Jesse has probably tried horseback riding more than once and always doesn’t get along with the horse
-Kyle probably got it worse than Jesse when horseback riding and just never attempted to ride a horse again💀
-In any school related events where modelling is involved- you know Aiden and Bobby are the Model x Makeup artist/Costume design duo like they always eat
-I know its prolly not canon but wouldnt it be funny if Seiji had the whole pajama get up but without the socks- and he doesnt cover his feet with a blanket idk would it be a bit silly
-Jasper(?) (the red head beanie friend of Nicholas) was probably closest in figuring out Nicks family lore without Nick telling him
-Scratch that the closest was when a graduated Bon posted a youtube video about the conspiracy of Nicholas and Jesse being brothers when they both competed at the olympics.
-In my head the redhead beanie friend of Nicholas does street dance (this is what happens when you give me a reoccurring side character with two lines in the whole series)
-Star wars fan Tanner Star trek fan Kally need I say more
-I dont know if Kings Row has a sports festival where they shuffle athletes around sports but- (this is me spreading my Nick can play table tennis agenda)
-Harvard picks up baking specifically for Aiden (/delusional)
-Aidens favorite dessert are cupcakes because they are the first valentines he has ever gotten from Harvard (and anyone) (even if they said it was a “Friend” valentine) (/delusional but let me dream)
-Halverton Fence team plays dnd every month with Scott as the dm who is setting up an arc with the false hydra to practice his gaslighting skills💀
-Wouldn’t it be interesting if Nicks mom used to fence and thats how she and Robert met
-Aiden and Harvard have watched all Barbie movies and have ranked every single one of them
some of these feel very ooc i think but n we get fence content annually so technically each character is ooc per volume🤷♀️
feel free to share your thoughts i love yapping abt fence

hi, hello. Are you still doing requests? If that's the case, can you please do a little sketch about Fetch practicing makeup trends on Delsin and Eugene?
hiii, here you go! and thats so fun, i imagine fetch as an artist would want her makeup to really show off her style, and those two are nice subjects for experiments
#delsin wanted the coolest wings#now he has to sit there forever and wait for fetch to finish#he also keeps giving pointless advise#they ask eugene what he thinks about it#he cant see anything without his glasses#but he cant put them back on either bc its bot dry yet😭#fanart#infamous second son#delsin rowe#infamous requests#eugene sims#fetch walker#polyconduits

I think of acting as a very simple craft. At least for me, it always has been. By rehearsing, you go over the actions and the words of the character repeatedly and marry them to your natural instincts. That doesn't mean you don't have an accent, funny clothes, makeup, or even prosthetics, but unless it's married to who you are, it won't be true. To me, that always seemed not too far from basket weaving or any other craft. I feel that Eugene O'Neill and Thornton Wilder are artists, like Beethoven and Bach. I feel more like a violin player. Not that violin players aren't artists, but they are a different kind of artist than someone like Beethoven. They're just different. I guess that's what I mean by arty and artistic. I admire artistic people, but I've never felt that I'm one of them. I think I'm a crafty person. I like the craft of acting; I find it really fun. When you're with someone like Brian Dennehy, it becomes more evident to me. And when you're rehearsing with Phil Hoffman, it's maybe even more so because he was so clearly not a violin player. It's a job I love, respect, and get a great thrill out of because you're with these people like O'Neill and Thornton Wilder. Technically, you're spending your life with these people, and what a lucky thing to do. But at the same time, they seem very different from how I feel. I do my violin playing, and then I go home and make dinner.

Caveat: I don't know exactly what the voters need to be looking for when judging this shit. And for all I know the paint blood F/X thing is more of a responsibility for the people behind the camera who want things to look good in the frame.
But really...I honestly cannot believe that this incongruous piece of shit makeup work from 'Woe What a Night' that I always point and laugh at when it's on my screen big or small won a goddamn Creative Arts Emmy for Outstanding Contemporary Non-Prosthetic Makeup...because shit like this exists in the episode:
In the earlier part of the scene, it's watery paint. We can see that, and we can see how it dripped onto Ortega's face in that thin film, full face coverage, then right after her vision, she zips out of the ballroom intent on getting to Eugene.
But then some ✨creative✨ thought that it would be cool to mix up actual stage blood and then dump it onto Ortega's clearly clean face, even though the paint didn't have that thicker consistency at all (because yanno...Stupid Viewers Are Stupid and Won't Notice, it's not important, so long as it looks okay! which I've never thought that it does 💀). I wouldn't take issue with this if they had just used the stage blood to begin with, but there are pro rules for that too, with professional makeup artists warning not to misuse stage blood:
"...Misusing fake blood can also quickly make a realistic design appear overtly fake. When designing a look, consider the optimal color and thickness of any fake blood you intend to use. It should closely resemble the wound or effect you are trying to create.
Pro Tip: To make a special effects makeup look more realistic, consider the direction that blood would flow from a wound, or how the blood would splatter. Don’t simply spray blood in every direction. In real life, this doesn’t happen NEARLY as much as you’d think."
I can't be the only one annoyed by the difference, SINCE WEDNESDAY EXPLICITLY SAID THAT SHE WAS DISAPPOINTED THAT THEY COULDN'T EVEN SPRING FOR PIG'S BLOOD. "IT'S ONLY PAINT." And it wasn't just on Ortega's clean face, it's on Ricci's clean face too:
✨But Tor, it LOOKS BETTER TH --✨
NO.
NO, IT DOESN'T.
This is just some bull💩 if the Academy thinks this was better contemporary makeup work than The Last of Us, AHS, or Picard. As much as I like and tolerate this show, its continuity is HORRENDOUS, as I've pointed out in Fuck Those Propmasters.
...So congrats(?) on casting some kind of spell over the voters for the win. I haven't even mentioned the CAKE on Ortega's face throughout that erases all of her freckles. Yes, I get it, she had to do whiteface since Wednesday is pale/dead looking, but there was just too much in some places that was really noticeable. (It's most evident when she talks to Enid at the beginning with her Murder Board and when Xavier makes her ask him to the Rave'N. But then it isn't caked during the Rave'N itself. It's actually not as caked on in other episode scenes, like when she's opening her snood gift. Perhaps the makeup of the Rave'N was a factor since it was nice, especially the Nightshade girls and Enid.)
Anyway, IDGAF if I sound like a raging cunt. I expect things that win awards to be legit worthy of recognition...this was not. Not for this, at least. Contemporary Costuming, fair, I guess (I mean...the Nevermore uniforms seem like an homage to Beetlejuice, the cat costumes Batman Returns, but otherwise, costuming seemed rather boring to me, but whatever, maybe it was the contrast between Wends and her colorful roommate that made it stand out). But not makeup, it was just way too inconsistent and there were better nominees.
ETA: I had to re-edit this because some of my other edits didn't save for some reason.

Season 2, Episode 3: Face to Face
Okay this one was a bit better than the last episode. When I saw there was an episode about a transgender character in the 1980's I was a bit worried. But I think for the most part, it didn't do too bad a job with it.
This one starts off a bit artistic with juxtaposing shots. First we see a doctor getting ready for surgery.
That's Robert Vaughn, who was a very well known actor and was in a lot of movies from the 1960's & 1970's. Being the age I am, I mostly know him from Superman III and as a spokesperson for some ambulance-chasing lawyers from Boston. But his IMDB page shows a very full career.
He seems to be giving a monologue about how he is a sculptor like Michelangelo (only with skin).
There was another notable star in this one.
I had never heard of this person but it's a special appearance! I guess she's an actress who is famous mostly for B-movies. If that's the case, this show seems right up her alley. The hospital scenes are cut with scenes of a mystery woman getting ready for the day.
Oooh, nice nails.
Back at the hospital, another doctor (or nurse?) gets horny for Dr. Love.
Wow, not obvious at all.
Turns out the mystery woman is Carmen Sandiego. Where in the world?
We don't even get the Hitchhiker until 3:25 into the show, which is a pretty long opening. This is the first one where he just wanders on screen without interacting with any of the characters. The show has gone full Twilight Zone.
The doctor is Dr. Christopher Hamilton, who is a plastic surgeon with ambition and a sharp scalpel. He sees a face and he wants to change it. But unless he looks deeper, there are some things he's not going to see, like a dangerous smile even on the most perfect face.
Huh? Is this some sort of riddle?
When this woman walks into the hospital, it appears she is disfigured as people recoil and a young kid points and laughs.
But when we finally see the mystery woman, she looks like...
A bit masculine, but nothing hideous. Nina Russell, a makeup artist, is meeting with this doctor because she has had gender re-assignment surgery, but wants plastic surgery on her face to make her look more like a woman. He takes the job but not without telling her that the best makeup looks like the woman is wearing no makeup at all. Funny thing to say to a makeup artist.
So this is where it pleasantly surprised me. The doctor treats Nina with respect, addressing her as a woman. However the episode is not perfect and I will get into where it kind goes into not-so-great territory. This is the 80s though.
Woah this guy's assistant is a bargain basement Eugene Levy.
Back at Dr. Hamilton's apartment, things are really heating up. Ick, what does she see in this guy?
The ladies' love Dr. Hamilton. I'm guessing this is the B-movie actress? And what is that behind that tree? Was that other doctor stalking him?
Dr. Gold is introduced to this famous actress that happens to be one of Dr. Hamilton's patients. He is totally star struck.
Those eyebrows deserve a Golden Globe.
We are back at the apartment and woah what's going on here? Drugs and cognac, definitely the perfect combo for a plastic surgeon. Dr. Hamilton is partying with the B-movie actress even though he has surgery in the morning.
Can't forget the strawberries!
Here he uses his scalpel to cut off her bra straps. Hey those Frederick's of Hollywood bras are not cheap! Well actually, they kind of are. Nevermind, cut away.
Back at the hospital, Dr. Eyebrows has a conversation with Nina about the surgery. She is totally confident that Dr. Hamilton will do a great job. This doctor doesn't seem too sure.
We get actually a pretty touching speech from Nina here, going into details about her life and how she felt like she was in the wrong body from age 6. So far nothing really to cringe at.
Dr. Hamilton gets a rude awakening from a phone call wondering why he's not in surgery. Uh oh, what time is it?
Oh God, no one else sees this? This can't be good.
His eyebrows say it all here, that was not a good cut.
Dr. Eyebrows is here for the big unveiling and informs Nina that her doctor is getting on a plane to Paris right now. He starts to remove the bandages and...
That's not a good reaction. She asks for a mirror and is shocked at what she sees, however we don't see it!
Dr. Hamilton is at the airport, flying to Paris, when he spots another attractive woman he wants to bang.
A sexy flight attendant. Seriously what is the appeal of this guy? She entices him with her foot...
Why was this a thing in the 80's? Did everyone have a foot fetish back then.
When that doesn't work she decides to steal his boarding pass so he can't get on his plane.
When she shows him she has it, he asks where they should go. She of course suggests her place.
Wait a minute, her place is a plane? Those pre-911 days when the airport was just one giant un-supervised playground.
He tells her she is beautiful and then she says the best makeup is like no makeup at all. Now where did I hear that before....
Yes! I knew someone was going to rip off their face!
I'm impressed she had enough time to put a new face on when she was just recovering in the hospital a few minutes ago. If I learned anything from Mrs. Doubtfire, it's that a montage like that usually takes several hours.
Now we see her actual face. Ummm...is this the dangerous smile on the most perfect face? Because I don't think that's accurate.
Oof that's pretty rough. It looks like Edward Scissorhands is her doctor. This is where it takes a not-so-great turn as it shows the transgender character as a scalpel wielding maniac. She attacks the doctor's face.
Hmm actually he doesn't look too bad here. Maybe he is a good plastic surgeon.
Oh great now he's Two-Face. He is still reciting that damn monologue from the beginning. Or actually it looks like he is writing it down for some reason.
The ending cuts to the Hitchhiker telling us that Dr. Hamilton took an oath to heal and care but when all you care about is feeling good, there are things you are going to miss...like vengeance working out its own kind of justice.
Yup he definitely deserved it.

hello! your matchup event is so cute, thank you so much for doing it! i would love a matchup please <3
some info about me is... my enneagram type is type 8, and i'm also an estj. i'm a very confident and independent person and have quite a fiery personality at times but i can also be calm and soft too. i studied makeup artstry and trained to be a makeup artist however i now work in management within the fashion industry... so it really is no surprise that i love makeup and shopping lol. i love the vampire diaries tv show and could rewatch it a million times!
for some of the questions, a song i'm fixated on right now is 'all too well' by taylor swift, my favourite lyric is "you kept me like a secret, but i kept you like an oath" it really breaks my heart! my favourite redacted audio is, 'getting dressed up for your feisty werewolf boyfriend' i love how much of a power couple milo and sweetheart are, and getting dressed up to go on fancy dates is literally my dream <3 i feel bad saying it but the redacted boy who holds no appeal to me is lasko, his audios really don't make me feel anything at all... </3 i'm platonically attracted to sam, he'd be such a caring best friend and i feel like he'd always have your back through anything!
and that's just about it! sorry for this being so much information and a bit rambly, but thank you so much again for taking time out your day to do this <3 take care & have a lovely day!!
Ooh, we love an E4E (Extrovert for Extrovert) relationship! It’d be such a sight, all that confidence and daring and glam and rizz (if the cool kids still say that) that you and Gavin would exhibit as a couple.
Type Eights are typically characterized by their strong self-identity and confidence. They know who they are and what they believe in; I don’t know what type Gavin is quite yet, but I think you would both share these qualities and would thus suit each other, bolstering up and supporting one another-
-and dressing each other up! I love to headcanon Gavin as incredibly fashion-forward and adventurous about it. It’s giving Eugene Lee Yang, very bold and willing to experiment with silhouettes and gender presentation. Not just fancy dates, any outing would be a fun, delightful fashion experience together complete with y’all doing each other’s makeup.
Song:
Yeah, I look good in my Versace dress (take it off)/ But I'm hotter when my morning hair's a mess/ 'Cause even with my hoodie on/ Bet I made you look
One. I bet Gavin loves a pop bop. He’s got an inner (and outer lbr) Diva side that loves to RuPaul-style lip sync to them. Two. This is both to the two of you talking to each other and talking to everyone, because y’all are the it couple.
Runner-Ups:
Milo is an obvious contender because just listen to him. Man has very particular opinions about his socks; we love a dude who caters a look. (@romirola’s excellent headcanon that Milo has a ring collection comes to mind.) You know who’s not as obvious? Hudson. Something about his flair makes me think he has a wacky but fun, alt wardrobe that looks great.
Note: I am so sorry if you don’t like the moodboard I know nothing about fashion and even less about makeup gosh I hope you like couple outfits /lh
Want a match-up of your own? Read this post, and tell me about yourself!
