~Biographical Stuff~

Grew up the second oldest in a crew of 4 kids (WC, Jake, twins Jasmine & Jackson) to Robin and Henry Fields in Merrock.

Sort of picturesque, always with all the support his family, they're a tight bunch.

Always had a ying and yang personality, social butterfly when he wants to be and just as easily reclusive and find joy in being alone too.

Was into sports like his brother much more when younger - still maintains a work out routine and will play the occasional pick up game here and there.

Was a theater kid in hs, ditched the football for a drum set. (And this is what you missed on Glee!) Formed a band with some buddies - Tried & True Down Dickies (don't ask) and played all over Merrock (even the bars where ofc they were served, oop)

School and studies never really interested Jake. He loved to read though, could be found reading musician biographies, to the classics. Almost always had a book on him. But school outside friends, and the social aspect he was pretty bored.

Jake was a partier for sure, the social butterfly in him had him making and keeping friends pretty easy and of all walks. Weekends were consistent parties. He experimented with drugs and drinking early.

In high school he met his first love, a wild, crazy and turbulent relationship with Mena Serrano ensued. The kind of relationship Jake wouldn't have thought real outside the movies. Fire and Ice to a tee.

In 2010 he graduated high school and almost immediately (k like, a month or two) into summer just before all his friends were off to respective colleges or starting up jobs in Merrock, Jake and the TTDD's hopped in the old Ford Windstar they'd piled their earnings together to buy and head to the Big Apple.

Over the years and a handful of band members down, new people and the music scene Jake and 3 others started an indie rock band Bleached Bush (who knows what the intentions are there mmkay) and actually grew a small following, even touring bars and small venues.

One year back in Merrock for the holidays— as the two do have a constant push and pull relationship, unable to fully quit one another — he had gotten Mena pregnant. He knew, but he had obligations back in New York. So, he left. As many a time before. By 2019 he had a son, Mateo.

Mateo's 5 now and Jake has never met him. (Trust there's a lot of backlash and inner fam. turmoil over this decision.)

The band broke up— members fell into relationships, opted for different career choices, had kids of their own — just no more room for a side gig that seemed to be going nowhere anymore.

With the expense of the city becoming much more noticeable at 32, and no band. And no income to even send that $100 in April to Mateo, Jake's bit the bullet, tail tucked between his legs back to Merrock. ~Random Stuff~

Has a bit of that Mainard accent - especially when drinking, naturally it comes out more.

Is tatted - almost a full sleeve on his left arm. His right leg covered. His first (probably stupidly so) Mena on his right shoulder. Right along with his first bands long ass name but abbreviated (TTDD- similar font to Taylors TTPD, and trust he'll be the first to tell you he did it first, she copied him) He did get Mateo's name tattoo'd under his collarbone.

Gravitated to the drums first probably mostly because it got out a lot of that pent up energy.

Never had any issues with labeling his sexuality - he's been attracted to both guys and girls. Has had experiences with both, never felt the real need to define himself in that regard.

For now he's living in his old bedroom back at his parents house in the burbs.

While in NY, along with odd bartending jobs here and there, Jake did some modeling for art students to really make ends meet. worked @ lavender lane when he moved back for the winters seasonal gig. Started bartending at Mirage in the Speakeasy but got bored and is currently working at The Body Shop with his bro. Has re-started his music podcast (tbd) ~Connections~

High School friends/hook ups/enemies - skies the limit there. Anything we can concoct.

Bandmates - why not? could be fun

Exes/FWB - obvious

People he met in NY - all walks of life, again skies the limit.

Lista di romance storici con protagoniste prostitute, favorite e cortigiane

Sull'onda del post che ho dedicato alla Lista di libri dalla trama simile a quella del film premio Oscar ANORA, che naturalmente erano tutti contemporanei, ecco invece una lista di romance storici con protagoniste prostitute, favorite e cortigiane.

Questa non è un tematica romance che io cerco molto nelle mie letture, anzi, spesso la evito, perciò la lista non sarà molto ricca vi avverto, però quello che c'è vi assicuro che è di qualità.

E naturalmente aspetto come sempre i vostri suggerimenti per arricchirla.

La mia lista:

-Serie Magdalene la Batarde, di Roberta Gellis

Serie di romanzi gialli storici medievali molto validi e scritti con dovizia di particolari storici ben approfonditi sia di costume che di politica. C'è anche una storia d'amore al loro interno ma è veramente secondaria se non addirittura terziaria.

1. A Mortal Bane (inedito in italiano)

Trama: Magdalene la Batarde è la madama dell'Old Priory Guesthouse a Southwark, un arinomata casa di piacere. Ma tra i piacevoli peccati a cui lei e le sue ragzze si dedicano giornalmente non è contemplato l'omicidio. Perciò quando Baldassare, un messaggero, viene trovato morto lì, sebbe non fosse un cliente abituale dell'Old Priory Guesthouse, Magdalene e le sue donne si rifiutano di permettere che la sua morte resti invendicata. Naturalmente, i loro sforzi non sono completamente altruistici. È probabile che se non trovano l'assassino, saranno considerate colpevoli perché sono delle prostitute e saranno sventrate e impiccate. In questo mare di intrighi entra il bel Sir Bellamy di Itchen. Il vescovo di Winchester, che è stato servito per molti anni da Baldassare, ordina a Bellamy, il suo cavaliere più fidato, di indagare sull'omicidio e gli dice che Magdalene è stata accusata del crimine. Bellamy è immediatamente affascinato dal suo principale sospettato, ma è anche convinto che lei stia nascondendo qualcosa. Convinto  che la donna sia coinvolta fino alle sue bellissime sopracciglia nella morte del messaggero, ma incapace di credere che sia un'assassina, Bellamy deve scoprire come e perché Baldassare è morto, o guardare la misteriosa Maddalena incontrare il suo destino sulla forca.

2. A Personal Devil (inedito in italiano)

Trama: Quando Sabina, una ragazza cieca che lavora nel bordello di Magdalene, aveva accettato l'offerta di Mainard di andare a vivere da lui e diventare la sua amante esclusiva, tutti avevano pensato che sua  moglie ne sarebbe stata felice visto che la faccia di suo marito è sfigurata da una voglia scarlatta. Invece Bertrild aveva attaccato Sabina e aveva richietso al marito di mandarla subito via,  poi era stata assassinata e suo marito accusato dell'omocidio, con grande dispiacere di Sbaina che corre a chiedere aiuto a Magdalene.

3. Bone of Contention (inedito in italiano)

Trama:  Magdalene sapeva che a Oxford si stavano preparando dei guai, con il re Stefano che riuniva il suo grande consiglio e il suo patrono, Guglielmo di Ypres, che la convocava inaspettatamente. Ma non si sarebbe mai aspettata di trovare ad aspettarla un omicidio. Nessuno avrebbe creduto che Niall Arvagh di Murcot, uno degli uomini di Guglielmo, avrebbe pugnalato un uomo alla schiena, nemmeno un uomo disgustoso come Aimery St. Cyr. Ma in questo caso tutti sapevano che St. Cyr aveva dichiarato di essere fidanzato con la bella ereditiera, Loveday di Otmoor, che Niall voleva per sé. Starà a Magdalene cercare di provare la sua innocenza trovando il vero colpevole.

4. Chains of Folly (inedito in italiano)

Trama: a nessuno sarebbe importato della morte di Nelda Roundheels  se non per il fatto che il suo corpo era stato trovato nel letto del  vescovo di Winchester con una lettera a lui indirizzata e formata dla più grande nemico del re. Chiaramente qualcuno stava cercando di incastrarlo e incarica il suo uomo di fiducia Sir Bellamy di Itchen di scoprire di chi si tratta  e per farlo di chiedere l'aiuto di  Magdalene la Bâtarde, il che è l'ultima cosa che Bel vorrebbe fare visto che erano stati amanti e da mesi non si parlano più.

5. A Confusion of Sins (inedito in italiano)

Trama: È il 1139 e l'Inghilterra è in subbuglio. Re Stefano ha trovato una scusa per catturare e imprigionare l'anziano e potente vescovo di Salisbury e i suoi nipoti, che il re sospetta di tradimento. Il fratello di Stefano, Enrico, è il vescovo di Winchester e, nonostante l'amore che prova per il fratello maggiore, ha convocato un concilio ecclesiastico per valutare le azioni del re. Nel mezzo di questa crisi politica, il corpo di un monaco, brutalmente assassinato, viene scoperto in una casa di Londra. Il monaco è Bernardo di Rouen, un favorito del vescovo di Rouen, un alleato del re che parteciperà alla convocazione. Bernardo, tuttavia, aveva una passione per l'oro e si era offerto di spiare il suo padrone per conto del vescovo di Winchester. Ma nell’animo di entrambi arde un desiderio di rivalsa pronto a incendiare con coraggio e passione i loro cuori…

La mia opinione: intanto premetto che questo è un romance storico erotico, perciò se non amate le scene d’amore grafiche e dettagliate lasciatelo perdere. Se non amate protagonisti maschili tormentati, lasciatelo perdere. Perchè qui più che tormentato Michel è prioprio rovinato, è frutto di ciò che ha subito. E parlo di prima dell’incendio, poi dopo quello lasciamo stare, perciò qui ci si strugge parecchio. Ad alti livelli. Però è anche estremamente umano e carnale come libro. Molto verace.

A cidade terá cinco candidatos à prefeitura neste ano. Veja quem são: Aliel Machado (PV) Tem 35 anos, é branco e casado. Funcionário público, foi eleito deputado federal ela primeira vez em 2014 e já exerceu três mandatos. Cursou Pedagogia. Foi vereador e presidente da Câmara Municipal de Ponta Grossa. Disputou a prefeitura da cidade em 2016, quando foi derrotado por Marcelo Rangel no segundo turno. A vice é Liliane Chociai (PSB). Elizabeth Schmidt (União Brasil) Atual prefeita de Ponta Grossa, Elizabeth Schmidt tem 72 anos. É branca, casada e formada em Pedagogia. Possui mestrado em Educação. Foi secretária municipal de Cultura e de Turismo de 2005 a 2012, secretária municipal de Administração e de Gestão de Recursos Humanos, entre 2015 e 2016, e presidente da Fundação Municipal de Turismo, de 2017 e 2018. A candidata a vice é Sandra Queiroz (PSDB). Magno Zanellato (Novo) Formado em Medicina, tem especialização como pneumologista e atua como cirurgião torácico. Tem 52 anos, é branco e casado. Foi vereador na cidade entre 2017 e 2020. á tentou ser deputado estadual e federal, mas não foi eleito. O candidato a vice é Beto Okazaki (Novo). Marcelo Rangel (PSD) Branco, casado e com 53 anos, Marcelo Rangel é formado em Direito e foi prefeito de Ponta Grossa em dois mandatos, de 2013 a 2020.
