Synagogue inaugurated in Abu Dhabi
The first synagogue to be built in the Gulf states was inaugurated recently as part of the Abrahamic Family House, which includes a church and a mosque. Visitors attending the ceremony in Abu Dhabi included UK Chief Rabbi Ephraim Mirvis and Bahrain politician Huda Nonoo. The Circuit reports:

Guests at the inaugural ceremony for the Moses Maimonides synagogue
The white-stoned mosque, church and synagogue anchoring the Abrahamic Family House, a monumental interfaith compound that was unveiled last week in the United Arab Emirates, will serve as a busy forum for promoting religious cooperation in the Middle East, its founders said.
The individual structures that make up the new complex, which was designed by the acclaimed Ghanian-British architect, Sir David Adjaye, are linked by a central exhibition space, public garden and conference center that will open to visitors on March 1. The project was inaugurated last Thursday in a twilight ceremony in the capital city of Abu Dhabi led by members of the UAE’s royal court and leaders of the three faiths.
“This will be a great convergence point for the world,” Rabbi Yehuda Sarna, the chief rabbi of the Jewish Community of the Emirates, said in a webcast address from the new synagogue’s podium on Friday. “It’s the kind of place where great religious leaders and great cultural leaders will come to be inspired,” he told members of the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities over Zoom.
Built in the new cultural district on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island across from the dome-covered Emirati branch of the Louvre museum, the prayer compound is visually striking: Its three cube structures are built with identical dimensions of 30 meters in height, width and depth, while distinguished by iconic design elements referring to each religion. Visible in the desert landscape from the island’s main road and lit up at night are giant posts beside each building that carry the symbols of a crescent, a cross and a menorah. Adjaye previously built the award-winning National Museum of African American History and Culture in Washington, D.C.
The UAE president, Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed, hailed the opening in a tweet, declaring the country’s strengthening commitment to religious tolerance.

Tumblr media
The Air Marshal of the IAF VR Chaudhari and the Chief of Staff of the French Air and Space Force, General Stéphane Mille, carried out combined missions on November 8. Troop Messenger vs Telegram: Why You Should Consider Switching
Are you looking for Telegram alternatives? Then read this blog to discover alternative messaging platforms and get a quick overview.
Troop Messenger
Since Telegram is used by a few start-ups and small enterprises, I figured Troop Messenger and others could be added to the list. Troop Messenger is undeniably more than a Telegram alternative. Troop Messenger offers a lot of features compared to Telegram, which is far superior in terms of providing quality. For instance, Troop Messenger groups will have great advantages compared to Telegram chatting groups such as admin super controls, advanced search filters, screen sharing within group calling, and so on.
One of the encrypted chat programs on the list is Troop Messenger, and it's possible that you've already used the safest one. Due to its superior security features, political parties utilise it as their political campaign software, and the defence agencies of a few strong nations employ it for defence collaboration services. You can therefore gauge the tool's security. There aren't many products like Troop Messenger available on the market that can be supplied via all of the main delivery models, including chat APIs and SDKs, on-premise, SaaS, etc.
Tumblr media
Apart from chat basic functions, Troop Messenger is a complete team collaboration tool that provides its users with all the features such as audio/video conference, screen sharing, remote access, live location tracking, and so on.
Do you know that Troop Messenger has a Burnout feature similar to Telegram’s secret chat? Teams, Defense agencies, and government officials can use it to convey classified information that no one else on the planet, including service providers, has access to.
Telegram is a cloud-based instant messaging software that is freeware and cross-platform. End-to-end encrypted video calling, file sharing, VoIP, and other functions are also available. Telegram's initial release date was August 14, 2013, for iOS and October 2013 for Android.
Nikolai and Pavel Durov, who were also the inventors of the Russian online social site RK, launched Telegram in 2013.
Telegram's data is dispersed over five data centers in various locations around the world, including the operations center in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
After WhatsApp announced its privacy policy in January 2021, 25 million new users joined Telegram, according to Telegram creator Pavel Durov. This equates to almost 8.33 million new users signing up every day. Telegram added over 100 million new users in just the month of January.
Telegram quickly made a name for itself as a competitive WhatsApp substitute. A few publications claim that Telegram currently has over 550 million active members and ranks in the top 10 most popular social networks globally in terms of download volume. Businesses were compelled by Telegram's popularity to get their app developers to produce an ideal substitute.
Why is Telegram not recommended?
Even though a few companies use it, Telegram shouldn't be on your list of chat apps for your team or place of business. It wouldn't meet all workplace requirements because it's a social messenger unless you wanted to limit it to phone calls, conversations, and file sharing. Telegram will merely function as an additional messenger, similar to FaceTime, WhatsApp, and the like. Nevertheless, a strong team communication tool can enhance teamwork and increase productivity at work, something that Telegram apps are unable to accomplish.
Check Point issued a Telegram warning in 2021, that "it tracked 130 cyber attacks that used malware managed over Telegram by attackers. Even though Telegram is not installed or being used, it allows hackers to send malicious commands and operations remotely via the instant messaging app."
What are the disadvantages of Telegram?
Here are some of Telegram's drawbacks that may make you want to uninstall it and look out for Telegram alternatives.
Telegram collects users’ contact details and metadata
If the articles are to be believed, Telegram is not an end-to-end encrypted
It has limited support
Since Telegram has a 1.5 GB file size limit, illegally downloaded movies are being mixed in with adult content that is not appropriate for children.
Telegram also allows attackers to access hacked machines from practically anywhere on the planet using their mobile devices.
Due to some operational advantages, cybercriminals are increasingly using Telegram as part of their activities.
Attackers can simply exfiltrate data from victims' PCs or transfer new malicious files to infected machines owing to Telegram's unique communication features.
Observing the above-mentioned segmentations, on the contrary, users have huge benefits from utilizing Telegram as their social chat app, which any app like Telegram may not offer.
If you believe that we are being subjectively biased by pointing out Telegram's drawbacks, further information will show just how objective we are.
How have users benefited from Telegram?
Do you know that with 700 million monthly active users, Telegram has ascended to become one of the top 5 downloaded apps globally in 2022? According to Telegram, it has never spent money on advertisements; instead, it was users who shared their positive experiences with other users (friends, relatives, acquaintances, colleagues, and others). As a result, they were persuaded to download it.
In light of this, Telegram introduced a premium plan that gives users access to extra premium features while allowing free use.
Telegram Premium
Users will have access to increased limits, better chat management, 4 GB file uploads, faster downloads, exclusive stickers and reactions, and other benefits with Telegram Premium. Despite this, non-premium users will still have access to all current capabilities. In fact, they may even be granted access to select privileges, such as
Ability to download large documents.
Tap to increase the counts on premium reactions that have already been added to a message.
Can view the stickers that Premium users have sent.
Some of the enticing features that premium users can access are
1. Chat Management
New tools in Telegram Premium help you organize your conversation list, such as setting your default chat folder to ensure that the app always starts on Unread instead of All Chats.
Indeed, subscribers can keep the busiest chat lists organized by enabling a Privacy and Security feature that automatically archives and mutes new chats.
2. Animated Profile Pictures
Everyone using the app can see the animated profile videos of premium users in chats and the chat list. In addition, premium users can demonstrate their fresh look to the world or showcase their creativity with a unique looping animation.
3. 4GB Uploads
Those who use Telegram Premium can now send files up to 4 GB in size, which provides sufficient space for 4 hours of 1080p video or 18 days of high-quality audio. At the same time, non-premium users can indeed upload files and media up to 2 GB in size and take advantage of unlimited free storage in the Telegram Cloud.
4. Faster Downloads
Media and files can be downloaded as quickly as possible for premium subscribers. Users get limitless access to their cloud storage and can access everything as quickly as their network can accommodate.
5. Doubled Limits
Doubled limitations are available to premium users for everything in the app, including:
Can add the fourth account,
Able to follow 1000 channels,
Create up to 20 chat folders, each containing a maximum of 200 chats,
Add ten chats to the main list,
Ten favorite stickers may be saved,
Ability to write a longer bio and add a link to it.
6. Voice-To-Text
For those occasions when you cannot listen but still wish to see what it says, voice messages can be converted to text. You can give transcriptions a rating to help them get better.
7. Unique Stickers
There are dozens of stickers available for Premium users to send in any chat to add extra emotion and expressive effects to engage the recipients while still making them visible to all users. These stickers are meant to impress, especially millennials, and feature full-screen animations. In contrast to Telegram alternatives, the Telegram team of artists will update a premium sticker collection every month.
8. Premium Badges
In the chat list, chat headers, and member lists in groups, all premium users have a special badge that says "Premium" next to their names, signifying that they are a member of the club that gets first access to unique features.
9. Premium App Icons
Premium customers have the option to add new icons to their Home Screen in an attempt to make it more compatible with their personality or wallpaper.
Telegram guarantees its users that it will continue to implement free features that are accessible to everyone and that it will do it more quickly than any other app similar to Telegram.
Conclusion
If the encryption is disregarded, Telegram can serve as a popular social media chat software, but it is a terrible tool for team and corporate interactions. Whereas hackers are using Telegram data to their advantage, WhatsApp is only gathering commercial data from particular companies. Telegram needs to start prioritising security, or else users will begin to migrate to other messaging apps.

Crisis Management: How PR Agencies Navigate Brand Scandals
Tumblr media
With the rapid dissemination of information and the ease with which reputations can be damaged in the digital era, crisis management has emerged as a critical service provided by PR firms. In the event of a brand scandal, public relations firms play a critical role in managing the storyline, minimizing harm, and repairing the company’s reputation. This article explores how PR firms handle brand problems, especially in places like Dubai, so that the businesses they represent come out stronger and more resilient.
Understanding Crisis Management in PR
The process of managing unforeseen circumstances that could harm a brand’s reputation is known as crisis management. For PR agencies, managing and lessening the effects of a crisis requires strategic strategy, prompt action, and efficient communication. The main objective is to minimize any long-term harm while safeguarding and restoring the brand’s reputation.
Strong crisis management plans are essential in an area as fast-paced and dynamic as Dubai, where companies must perform under constant inspection. An effective PR firm can make the difference between a short-lived dispute and a catastrophe that destroys a business.
The Role of a PR Agency in Crisis Management
Proactive Planning: Being ready for a crisis before it even arises is a crucial component of crisis management. Every client of a skilled PR firm in Dubai or the UAE will have a crisis management strategy that is unique to them. This include determining possible hazards, putting in place monitoring systems, and creating communication plans that are ready to go when necessary. For example, a social media agency will keep a careful eye on online forums and other communities for any indications of unfavorable attitude or new problems that might develop into major ones. Through the identification of these early warning indicators, the agency can move quickly to address the problem before it gets out of hand.
Swift Response: In the event of a scandal, timing is crucial. A slow response might make matters worse by allowing the populace more time to conjecture and disseminate false information. The prompt and decisive response of a PR agency can aid in crisis containment and deterrence. In order to directly address the audience, the response frequently include making a public statement, hosting news conferences, or using social media. In the UAE, particularly in Dubai, where digital communication is widely used, social media is an essential tool for crisis management. Public calm and stakeholder reassurance can be greatly enhanced by a well-crafted statement that handles the problem openly and sympathetically.
Control the Narrative: In times of crisis, narrative control is essential. If a brand doesn’t provide its perspective, someone else will, frequently with less advantageous results. PR firms strive to make sure that the viewpoint of their clients is conveyed intelligibly, emphasizing the facts and setting the scene. This could entail dispelling false information, updating the media on a regular basis, and interacting with the public directly via a variety of communication channels. Influencer marketing companies may also work with reputable influencers in a market like Dubai, which is driven by influencers, to assist build the narrative and uphold public confidence.
Stakeholder Communication: A crisis affects all of a brand’s stakeholders, including partners, employees, investors, and consumers. Sustaining trust and averting internal terror in these communities requires effective communication. A public relations firm makes sure that everyone involved is informed, frequently by means of internal memos, meetings, and focused messaging. An agency’s capacity to handle cultural sensitivities and guarantee effective communication amongst various groups is especially crucial in the United Arab Emirates, where companies frequently employ a diverse and multicultural workforce.
Restoring the Brand’s Image: After the short-term problem has been resolved, the long-term task of repairing the brand’s reputation starts. To regain the public’s trust, this could entail rebranding campaigns, starting new ones, or participating in CSR activities. In Dubai, where corporate success and brand reputation are strongly correlated, PR firms frequently use creative approaches to assist their clients in recovering. To reestablish the brand’s favorable image, this could involve utilizing the city’s dynamic media ecosystem, interacting with the community, or working with influencers.
Conclusion
Today’s connected world makes crisis management essential for any PR business, as even a small mistake can cause a large-scale backlash. A company’s reputation can be made or broken by its ability to handle brand scandals, whether they occur in Dubai, or elsewhere. PR agencies help firms weather the storm and come out stronger by being proactive, acting quickly, managing the narrative, and communicating clearly.
PR agencies will become more and more crucial in crisis management as long as companies are operating in the public eye. Working with a seasoned PR agency may give brands the security and comfort they need to handle even the most trying circumstances.

An international coalition of environmental groups dropped banners and blockaded roads to protest the International Nuclear Energy Summit in Brussels on Thursday.
While the summit, hosted by the Belgian government and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), pushes nuclear energy as a replacement for fossil fuels, more than 600 climate action groups launched a declaration calling nuclear power plants a "distraction which slows down the energy transition."
"We are in a climate emergency, so time is precious, and the governments here today are wasting it with nuclear energy fairy tales," Greenpeace E.U. senior campaigner Lorelei Limousin said in a statement. "All the evidence shows that nuclear power is too slow to build, too expensive, and it remains highly polluting and dangerous."
At the United Nations COP28 climate conference in the United Arab Emirates last year, more than 20 countries pledged to triple nuclear energy capacity by 2050. However, Greenpeace France calculated that achieving this would mean finishing 70 reactors each year between 2040 and 2050. This would be an unprecedented buildout in defiance of current trends: Between 2020 and 2023, 21 reactors were completed while 24 were shut down worldwide.
In the European Union specifically, many countries turned away from nuclear after 2011 in response to the Fukushima accident in Japan, according to Reuters. Germany shuttered its last three reactors for good in April 2023 following a successful anti-nuclear campaign there. In general, the nuclear share of the E.U. power mix dropped from 32.8% in 2000 to 22.8% in 2023, Greenpeace said.
Activists argue that nuclear still poses all the dangers the anti-nuclear movement has been warning about for decades and also cannot be ramped up quickly enough to prevent escalating climate extremes.
To reinforce this message, members of Greenpeace France blockaded the main roads to the Brussels summit using cars and bicycles. They also lit pink flares and threw pink powder as a motorcade of officials en route to the summit approached. The action succeeded in delaying the arrival of several delegations, Greenpeace E.U. said.
Other demonstrators dropped banners from the summit site at Brussels Expo reading, "Nuclear Fairy Tale," while a group representing the 600 declaration signatories protested in front of an inflatable bouncy castle holding up a sign reading, "Nuclear fairy tales = climate crisis."
The declaration was drafted by Climate Action Network Europe and signed by groups from at least 56 different countries and territories including Climate Action Network Canada, the David Suzuki Foundation, the Sierra Club, Food and Water Watch, CodePink, International Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War, and several 350.org, Fridays for Future, and Friends of the Earth affiliates.
"The nuclear lobby camouflages itself beneath a climate-friendly facade, hoping to divert massive sums of money away from real climate solutions, at the expense of people and the planet," the declaration reads.
The signatories pointed out that, while the world must dramatically reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 2030 in order to limit global temperature rise to 1.5°C above preindustrial levels, it would take longer than this for any new nuclear plant to come online.
At the same time, it costs significantly more money to increase nuclear capacity than renewable options like wind and solar, they stressed. A new reactor requires almost four times the funds of a new wind power installation.
"Governments need to invest in proven climate solutions, such as home insulation, public transport, and renewable energy, rather than expensive experiments, like small modular reactors, which have no guarantees of actually delivering," the declaration says.
It also points to safety risks across the nuclear lifecycle, from uranium mining to waste storage. And it adds that those dangers would only increase as temperatures rise.
"The climate crisis also increases the risks involved in nuclear power, as increased heatwaves, droughts, storms, and flooding all pose significant threats to the plants themselves and to the systems that aim to prevent nuclear accidents," the signatories argued.
Instead, the declaration proposes that governments focus on achieving 100% renewable energy while also improving efficiency.

G20 Summit 2023 of Joint Declaration: New Delhi Declaration
Tumblr media
India is presiding over the G20 summit this year. This conference has been organized on 9 and 10 September at Bharat Mandapam of Pragati Maidan. G20's first joint declaration - A joint declaration has been agreed upon on the very first day of the ongoing G20 Summit in New Delhi. At the beginning of the second session on Saturday, PM Modi, in his capacity as President, passed the New Delhi Declaration with the consent of all the member countries. The G20's joint declaration is a total of 37 pages. There are total 83 paragraphs in it. This has been called the New Delhi Declaration. The main proposals included in this are as follows - All countries will work on Sustainable Development Goals. One Future Alliance will be formed on India's initiative. - All countries should work according to the rules of the UN Charter. - Bio fuel alliance will be formed. Its founding members will be India, America and Brazil. - Emphasis will be laid on one earth, one family, one future. - Multilateral development banks will be strengthened. They will be made better, bigger and more effective. - Emphasis will be placed on the priorities of the Global South. - There will be talks to make a global policy regarding cryptocurrency. - India has emphasized on making a common framework to create a better system regarding loans. - The fastest growing cities in the world will be funded. - Work will be done on green and low carbon energy technology. - All countries have criticized all forms of terrorism. Terrorism was mentioned 9 times. Europe and Middle East will build economic corridor with India - The G20 summit held in the Indian capital will be remembered for a historic deal. This deal has been made between India, Europe and Middle East i.e. Gulf countries. - This has been called the India, Europe, Middle East Economic Corridor Deal. It is being considered as the answer to two Chinese projects. - These are the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) and the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor or CPEC. In a sense, CPEC is considered a part of BRI. - 8 countries are part of this economic corridor. This deal has innumerable benefits and the target is to complete it in 10 years. These countries are included in the deal - India, United Arab of Emirates (UAE), Saudi Arabia, European Union (EU), Italy, Germany, France and America. White House spokesperson had recently hinted towards this deal and said – It is possible that soon some more countries will become a part of a special economic deal. Some of these names may surprise you. Key points of this deal - The poor and middle-income countries falling in the three regions will benefit the most. America's Deputy National Security Advisor John Finneran told the media that we will not have to wait 10 years for its results. Very soon you will see huge changes. - This summit is proving to be very special for President Biden. He was considered soft on China, but he gave a forceful reply and gave the world the option of BRI. In this, every powerful country including India is with America. - Now the Middle East region will be directly connected with India and Europe not only through rail but also through port. Everyone will benefit from this. Saudi Arabia's Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman (MBS) wants to make the oil economy business based. They know this will fulfill their Vision 2030. - America's deputy NSA Finner himself said - it will soon be known how big a success this is. People will be able to understand more about this deal when its work starts. This will also reduce tension in every area. - In recent times, China has been trying to weaken America and India by increasing its influence in UAE and Saudi Arabia. Now the Saudi Crown Prince has once again hinted towards joining America's side. This is also important because after the Corona period, China's economy is weakening day by day. Its growth rate has been low every time in the last four quarters. - From the economic point of view, every country included in this deal is developing rapidly. Now since the European Union is also a part of it, you will also have to keep in mind that at least 27 countries will be in this deal only from this union. Global Biofuel Alliance was launched at the end of the first day - PM Modi launches Global Biofuel Alliance. During this, US President Biden, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and heads of state of Brazil, Argentina and Italy were also present. After this, PM Modi said in his address that increasing connectivity is a priority for India. What is biofuel - Biofuel means fuel made from plants, grains, algae, husk and food waste. Biofuels are extracted from many types of myomas. - It contains less amount of carbon. If its use increases, the world's dependence on traditional fuel petrol and diesel will reduce and environmental pollution will also reduce. - For the first time in the year 1890, Rudolf Diesel used vegetable oil to run an internal combustion engine for farming. How is biofuel made - Different types of refineries are used to make biofuel. It is categorized on the basis of crop stock. - First generation biofuel depends on reserves of food crops. Sugarcane crop and grain starch are processed in the first generation unit. Whereas second generation biofuel is known as advanced biofuel. In this, the process takes place in non-edible plants, woody biomass or husk. - Third generation biomass is made from algae and microbes. Fourth generation biofuels rely on biomass materials that absorb carbon dioxide. Where is most biofuel produced - The largest ethanol producing countries in the world in the year 2022 are America and Brazil. America produced 57.5 billion liters of ethanol and Brazil produced 35.6 billion liters of ethanol. Whereas Europe remained at the forefront in the matter of making biodiesel. 17.7 billion liters of biodiesel was produced there. After that America is at second place and Indonesia is at third place. What is the theme of G20 Summit 2023? - This time the theme of G20 Summit 2023 is Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. It means one earth, one family, one future. What is the logo of G20 Summit 2023 - This time India has made the earth its logo along with the lotus flower. This logo is of 3 colors, which is taken from the Indian flag. And these colors are- saffron, white, green and blue. What is the motto of G20 Summit 2023? - India's presidency of the G20 will prove helpful in strengthening trade ties with member countries and provide an opportunity to attract investments from those countries in sectors such as infrastructure. Importance of G20 Summit 2023 - G-20 is called Group of Twenty, this group has 19 member countries and the 20th member of the group is the European Union. The G-20 Summit is organized once a year, however, starting from 2008, the G-20 Summit was organized twice each in the years 2009 and 2010. - In this conference, the heads of state of the member countries of the group are invited and some other countries are also invited.
