List of russian lies in the UN or during diplomatic speeches:
1. In January-February of 2022 russia claimed in the UN that they will not invade Ukraine, that they have no plans to invade Ukraine, and evidence of upcoming invasion are lies made by the US or others.
End of the same month russia launched a full-scale invasion.
2. Russia claimed in the UN that the reason they attacked Ukraine was to fight some "local nazis" and that they are indeed good guys fighting Ukrainian hatred. That, however, does not explain why: a) russia opposed the grain deal until Turkey threatened to make it work one way or the other, showing their intention to starve hundreds of millions of people in neutral countries for no reason whatsoever, b) russia refused to allow UN or Red Cross etc to observe the conditions of POWs or to open humanitarian corridors for people to escape from Mariupol or other conflict zones, with thousands of witnesses reporting abductions, filtration camps, and shelling of retreating civilians, c) russia claimed to only want to protect local russian population, yet completely destroyed whole cities in majorly-russian-speaking Eastern Ukraine, like Mariupol (satellites showing mass graves), and bombing mainly civilian targets - schools, hospitals, theatres, a shopping mall during peak hours, a train station where people waited for evacuation, apartment buildings, etc. Currently we can see that there is no effort on the russian-controlled side of Dnipro river to help people in flooded areas, with videos and citizen testimonies reporting shelling of all disaster aid attempts, d) russia claimed that they only hate the "nazi" Ukrainian government, yet they openly shelled Ukrainian power grids during winter, for no other reason than to leave innocent civilians with no gas or electricity.
3. Russian state TV, public figures like Solovyov, former President and Prime Minister as well as head of security council of russia Medvedev openly stated either on national TV or in their social media pages that they want to "exterminate" Ukrainians. That the whole country should not exist, that Ukrainian language is fake, etc etc. This is genocidal speech and it is not limited to Ukraine either. The Baltic States, Poland, etc also received such claims - that they "do not exist" that they "belong to russia" or that they "should be invaded". Makes it very obvious who the imperialistic, colonist aggressor actually is. Medvedev also repeatedly threatened Western European countries with missile or even nuclear attack, yet they claim to only be "defending themselves".
4. Lavrov got laughed at during a summit in India for claiming that "russia was invaded by Ukraine". Do I even need to explain why this is a lie? If I do, check 1st point again. Or just turn on your brain.
5. Then there's more sci-fi nutjobby official russian claims (or lies) about - bioweapons in Ukraine, pidgeons carrying disease or weapons to russia, Ukraine having some super-soldiers, or even dark magic, as indicated by russian Ministry of Defense changing the goal of their "special military operation" from "denazification" to "desatanization".
And that's just a few of the main ones. More is discussed in the latest UN meeting, you can watch the video on their official website.
So, knowing all of this, why the fuck would you believe ANYTHING they say? Especially about the destruction of dam?
Russia has repeatedly shown aggressive attitude towards neighbouring countries, claimed their wish to occupy them, russian officials called for extermination of whole nationalities, and both President putin and Belova have enough evidence against them for ICC to issue a warrant for them for GENOCIDE AND WAR CRIMES.
If you still believe in russia, despite anything they themselves say, you're either a genocide-supporter or unbelievably stupid.

FANDOM PET PEEVE #1
PEOPLE VS ACCURACY
TRIGGER WARNING ⚠️ OPINION. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL IF YOU WANT TO COMMENT SOMETHING
My biggest pet peeve is people complaining about misrepresentation of a culture that's not even their own especially when MOST of the said actual people that has the said culture aren't even complaining about it and are even proud, and the complaint was towards a video game/cartoon/tv show that has a fantasy genre.
Yes, this post is about the most miserable side of the genshin community.
No. I don't think Germany have idols in their church, nor do China has birds that are actually divine beings who could turn into humans, or the Japanese people worship a certain god who has the control over thunder, nor do ancient Egypt, India, Persia, and Mesopotamia have magical plants or how France has gigantic magical crabs, a god who split herself into two parts and a magical machine that can determine who is guilty and who is not and nor do Hawaiian, Spanish, African, and Latino cultures have a blessing that can revive you after going to war and little dinosaur companions.
People need to realize and draw the line between reality and fiction. Genshin is fictional and is not supposed to accurately represent the people and culture they were inspired from.
People also need to realize the difference between inspired and based. Inspired means using different references and ideas to produce a new piece of creation. Based is having accuracies. Example is Demon Slayer which is a fantasy anime that is based on the Japanese culture. The show specifically mentions Taisho Era which is an actual period in Japan and they actually included real life references such as the Oiran walk. And Demon Slayer is also explicitly stated to be based of Japan.
The Genshin country I want to focus on discussing is Natlan. Natlan is inspired by Hawaiian, Spanish, African, and Latino cultures. Does this determine the characters Nationality? No.
Also, are people aware that not everyone from the same culture or country would have the same complexion? Skin color varies even between literal siblings. Not because this character is inspired from this culture or country doesn't automatically mean that they're supposed to have this-that skin color.
Mualani is not Hawaiian that's why she doesn't have to be accurately represented as a Hawaiian. She's from Natlan, a fictional place that has it's own culture that is inspired from real life cultures.
Chasca is not from Chile, she's from the Flower Feather clan of Natlan—another fictional tribe from a fictional country of a fictional game. She doesn't need to actually portray whatever she was inspired from because her nationality is a fictional one.
A lot of hate towards Chasca is often reasoned to be because of her misrepresentation of a certain culture. But all I see in tw!tter and t!ktok are people saying how ugly her design is because of personal preferences and kept on insulting the character's design to the point that I feel bad for tha artists behind her.
Look. People can have different opinions and express it. Even I wasn't a fan of her design. But.. maybe.. just maybe.. Chasca isn't for me? Chasca isn't for everybody. She will have haters and she will also have fans. If you don't like her, skip her. If you don't like her design SKIP HER DAMN BANNER. Chasca, just like every character, has both haters and fans. People don't need to COMPLAIN EVERY DAMN TIME.
But I really.. really don't get why people need to complain every minute and every second as if her design insults them on a personal level. If you don't like her, then she's not made for you.
This reminded me of how some people complained about Olivia Rodrigo's song "Ballad of a homeschooled girl". People are complaining that it's "not relatable" and "that's not what homeschooled is". Maybe because it was Olivia's experience and not theirs? Maybe because it's not for them? But not because it's not for them doesn't mean no one would relate to her.
Why do people also kept on comparing Genshin designs to other games saying that they're so downgrade and less detailed/worse?
I get that it's a matter or preference but maybe.. just maybe.. Genshin is an open world game where a lot of animations happen simultaneously and giving Genshin the same amount of animations as other games that are not open world would result to the game no longer being compatible to certain devices because of the power it would require.

about polin - i just realised i haven't been excited over a straight couple in media in foreeeever.. what is it?? i just started to read some fanfic!! i never do that unless it's queer (i don't fully understand why tbh).. and i did really really love kanthony, but i wouldn't go read a fic about it 🫣
i mean tbf i think they're both really hot and luke and nicola have amazing chemistry while with kanthony, i was mostly just.. aesthetically in awe?
maybe it's the origin story of friends to lovers.. or penelope being the "wallflower".. idk
anyway, i love reading your thoughts and excitement 🥰
Dude, I feel you so much. I haven’t read/written het fanfic since I was 16 and honestly I’m so shocked at how gassed up I am for this couple, I’m scaring myself a little. 🤣🤣🤣
I do think Luke and Nic have managed to pull Colin and Pen from the page in a way that I haven’t seen before. They’ve also had us attached to them for years now, in a way I haven’t felt about a TV couple in a while, which I think is about half of where this insane magic comes from. I loved both Season 1, 2 and Queen Charlotte, but we meet these leads in their season, so we’re not invested at the same level, and frankly, unless they plant some seeds at the end of this Season, I don’t think we’ll feel this way about any of the other incumbent couples.
And yeah, for me, Cory and India had fantastic chemistry but that didn’t make me want to read fic about their characters or any of the others. I think it’s just the perfect cocktail of “will they, won’t they” and the fact that Luke and Nic are also giving one hell of a press tour.

12 YEAR OLD OCS; SIDE A
hạt dẻ hạt phỉ [@tboyblogger] (she/her sister, he/him for brother)
theyre a pair of twin beasts, middle schoolers! i have no idea who is hazelnut and who is chestnut i kept calling them both names like that, theyre they/them in the way there are always two kids. these kids are beasts(?) that look like human but with magic and animal ears and tails. theyre adopted by a desi family of wizards so they do witchy spellcasting stuff. their names are in vietnamese cause. well im viet, and theyre kind of a ripoff of a vietnamese early 2000s tv show about a family of wizards (LOL) coming to the human world and try to blend in, except mine is just about the family trying to take care of these two beasts and the shenanigans revolve around them! if i were to continue writing them now i'd probably do the sitcom format, something like old d*sney channel series like wizard of waverly place (wait i think i also stole from this LMAO) or good luck charlie where the focus is on the interpersonal relationships of everyone in the family and how they are to the kids, growing as they learn to take care of them? idk. but this was 2012, i was 12, so i ripped from cardcaptor sakura and ben10 and pokémon or other similar video games to make them into mahou-kodomo shounen protags going around different worlds capturing creatures-of-the-week but theyre all in the back of my head now </3 vote for them if you like little animal freaks that would crawl on the floor chewing furniture and bite each other then cry to mom
Excavator [@enjoliquej] (he/him)
Behold, a mere mortal man, born with the name Excavator, destined to become part of one of the most fantastical endeavors known to man: Archeological Excavation. Being gifted with a genius and brilliant name as Excavator, and having a career that shared the same name gave him some trouble with introductions.
A bold and thoughtful quote from our hero:
"My name is Excavator, and I am an excavator." -- Excavator
Follow Excavator, the world's WORST and luckiest archeologist as he embarks across the world to different locations that his 12 year old writer was learning about in history class. Watch as his boss constantly fires and re-hires him on account of Excavator's stupidity and luck at finding rare artifacts. Embark on his first adventure when he accidentally hurled himself into a tar pit from clowning around and found the Rosetta Stone buried deep beneath. Join him on his trip to China where he gets thrown into a basket and is forced to float the Pacific Ocean for days until he discovers ancient Chinese scrolls hidden in the basket with him, narrowly escaping being fired by his boss yet again. Follow him to India where he believes he traveled to the 1800s and is mistaken for a butler and cleans precious furniture with bleach which ruins everything until he realizes he was just staying at some guys house the whole time and he didn't time travel to the 1800s.
All this and more on The Silly Adventures of Excavator, The Indiana Jones Wannabe!

Kamala Khan’s bookshelves
Kamala’s room in The Marvels is an absolute treasure trove of little details to zoom in on, and I’ve identified so many books on her shelves!
Shelf 1, top to bottom:
1. Landmark Experiments in Twentieth Century Physics by George L. Trigg
College-level book about experiments that helped us learn about x-rays, lasers, isotopes, superconductors, and all kinds of other things I don’t understand. Meant to be more practical than theoretical since it talks about the actual methodologies of these experiments. Could be for school, or for Kamala and Bruno to run their own tests of Kamala’s powers. The first of many books in the Khan house that come from Dover Publications.
2. Space Time Matter by Hermann Weyl
“An esoteric initiation into space time physics” -Amazon reviewer. I’m gonna be real, I don’t understand half the words in this book description, but apparently it’s famous for introducing gauge theory, which was later reborn as phase transformations in quantum theory. I can see this being something Kamala reads to try and understand the bangle transporting her to the Partition. Also from Dover.
3. A Map to the Sun by Sloane Leong
A graphic novel about a high school girl’s basketball team learning to work together despite their many differences and conflicts. Also it has a gorgeous color palette. Seems fairly self explanatory why it’s in this movie. I’ll definitely be borrowing this from my library! Like my friend Kamala recommended a book to me herself.
4. The Good Immigrant anthology edited by Nikesh Shukla
21 essays from Black, Asian, and Minority Ethnic (BAME) people in the UK about their experiences. It was crowdfunded initially, extremely critically acclaimed, and has gotten spinoffs and sequels. Riz Ahmed, who is British Pakistani, is one contributor, and a fun fact is that Rish Shah (Kamran from Ms. Marvel) worked with Riz Ahmed in an Oscar winning short called The Long Goodbye. Also, the editor, Nikesh Shukla, is currently writing the Spider-Man India comics series!
5. Bright Lines by Tanwi Nandini Islam
A coming-of-age story about 3 young adults with complicated family, friend, and romantic relationships between them. They have to travel from Brooklyn to Bangladesh together one summer and thereby discover a lot about themselves. I haven’t read it, but there seems to be a ton of complex representation of LGBTQ, POC, immigrant, and Muslim characters. I wonder how much the three main characters can be compared with our three characters with complex relationships in The Marvels, and I wonder which character Kamala most relates to!
6. I can’t tell! The font is bugging the hell out of me because theoretically, with that amount of contrast, I should be able to read a word when I get two inches from the TV and mess with the settings. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
7. I also can’t tell, but I’m being easier on myself because the title is written in white on a yellow background. It’s not the only book I know off the top of my head with this color scheme (Yellowface by RF Kuang) because the title is definitely multiple words. Help!
Shelf 2, right to left:
1. One Night that Changes Everything by Lauren Barnholdt
A YA romance where, through a convoluted series of events, a teenager must face all of her insecurities in one night. I can see Kamala devouring this as brain candy after wrestling with those advanced science books, or using it as fic inspiration!
2. Can’t tell, but love the color scheme!
This next one is a weird one, because I am 100% sure of what book it is, but I cannot find a picture of a matching edition.
3. Wizard at Large by Terry Brooks
It’s definitely, without a doubt, this book (where a character and a magical medallion are accidentally transported to Earth from another realm and switches places with an evil genie). Like those are the words on the spine and the plot of the book is an obvious choice for this movie. The fonts match on the audiobook, the ebook, and the next two books in the series. But try as I might, I cannot find any proof on the internet that the physical book that appears in Kamala’s room, that uses those two fonts and that spine formatting, exists. This is haunting me…
4. (On the other side of the box) It’s not The Twilight Saga Eclipse, but I definitely thought it was before I could watch in high definition. I think it’s a journal or sketchbook of Kamala’s; there are a bunch scattered throughout the room.
Shelf 3:
I’ve only identified the bottom book, which is Einstein’s Theory of Relativity by Max Born (Dover Publications). The third one up is HAUNTING me, it looks SO identifiable and yet!
Living Room Side Table:
1. Amateur Astronomer’s Handbook by JB Sidgwick (from Dover Publications)
2. Cosmology by Hermann Bondi (also Dover)
Both of these seem less difficult than the science books in Kamala’s room, but reviewers note that it helps to know calculus when reading Cosmology. Idk which member of the Khan family is reading these, but I love their family’s connection to the stars 💫
Tbh I’m having so much fun doing this! And I really wish we got to see Monica’s living space so I can analyze her books 😭

Disney+ Not Going Forward With ‘Nautilus’ UK Series As Part Of Cost-Cutting Content Removal
EXCLUSIVE: Nautilus, the UK live-action Captain Nemo series commissioned by Disney+ two years ago, is no longer headed to the streamer, Deadline has learned.
The decision is part of Disney’s streaming content removal plan unveiled in May, for which the company is taking an impairment charge of approximately $1.5 billion-$1.8 billion. It followed the February announcement by Disney that it intends to cut $3 billion in non-sports content spend across the company.
As part of the cost-reduction strategy, Disney’s streaming platforms, particularly flagship Disney+, have been taking a closer look on their programming with a new emphasis on content curation.
As Deadline reported exclusively Saturday, Disney+ also is not going forward with another upcoming original series, the The Spiderwick Chronicles, a U.S. live-action series adaptation of the popular children’s fantasy books.
Over the past couple of months, dozens of original series and specials were taken off Disney+ as well as Hulu, and Disney CEO Bob Iger also announced a pullback in new Marvel and Star Wars shows and movies for Disney+.
Like The Spiderwick Chronicles, which is currently being shopped by lead studios Paramount Television Studios, Nautilus has been shot; it started filming in February 2022 in Australia. Disney+ is working with the production team to find a new home for Nautilus, with meetings and screenings underway.
Nautilus was announced during the 2021 Edinburgh TV Festival along with two other new original UK series for Disney+. No other UK local originals are understood to be impacted by the content cuts.
Disney+’s UK scripted and unscripted programming pipeline includes Culprits, from J Blakeson; Jilly Cooper’s Rivals; A Thousand Blows, from Stephen Graham; Coleen Rooney’s upcoming documentary, In Vogue, from Vogue Studios and Raw; and Shardlake, based on the novels by C. J. Sansom.
The streamer also recently greenlit two new U.K. drama series, Jeff Pope’s Suspect: The Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes, and thriller Playdate.
Based on the Jules Verne’s classic novel 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Nautilus is a 10-part live-action adventure series about the origin story of Verne’s iconic character, Captain Nemo, and his famous submarine, The Nautilus.
In this retelling, Nemo (Shazad Latif) is an Indian Prince robbed of his birth right and family, a prisoner of the East India Company and a man bent on revenge against the forces which have taken everything from him. But once he sets sail with his ragtag crew on board the awe-inspiring Nautilus, he not only battles with his enemy, he also discovers a magical underwater world.
Also starring are Georgia Flood and Thierry Frémont, with Pacharo Mzembe, Arlo Green, Tyrone Ngatai, Ling Cooper Tang, Andrew Shaw, Ashan Kumar, Céline Menville and Kayden Price rounding out the cast. Nautilus is produced by Xavier Marchand’s Moonriver Studios and Anand Tucker’s Seven Stories.

The Hindu mythology ask reminds me of the times I user to make family trees and flow charts of Ramayana and Mahabharata. So this is gonna be a long one..sorry!
1. Amar Chitra Katha is a great place to start, you can also watch the old televised cartoon versions of the same...I used to love them..they are a little biased but a great place to start! You ll find them on the big magic channel (if ur from India..idk if it still exists tho lmao) or maybe even on youtube. There are soap operas too if you like drama and stuff...Mahabharata has a super famous one!
2. I LOVED THE KRISHNA CARTOONS TOO. It was called Little Krishna- the prince of Vrindavan (dat music is still my fav). I used to cry every Sunday to watch it on TV.
3. Idk if this is ur thing but I used to visit old libraries and ask for books from there, librarians are actually super cool and underrated. I used to tell them I want the full version of Mahabharata..bonus if it's in those maroon hardbound covers cuz that means it's more inclusive of info)
4. If you want to learn about other Hindu gods like Shiva and Brahma, you can start with short stories type books by Tiny Tot Publications (again idk if they still publish..my books are so old😭)
5. You can go to any famous temple in your area too and try to find stories behind that. (I once visited a temple where people believe Krishna comes every night with Radha for Rasleela)
6. I have lately been really enjoying Amish and Devdutt Patnaik. They wrote books from Raavan, Sita and Draupadi's POV. Can you imagine that? They are very unbiased. You should definitely check them out.
Last tip as someone who has been a Hindu mythology reader since I was like 5
You can never know every story. You ll never find one book that has every story. This was something that used to annoy my brain because I was like if there's a story about the king's maid's daughter...I need to know that too. But it's impossible, trust me. So just keep taking info as you can and DO NOT TRY TO FIGURE OUT CHRONOLOGY OF THE EVENTS. You ll go crazy. Like basics within Ramayana and Mahabharata is fine but the other short stories will make u go crazy.
Good luck! Hope you enjoy!

Oh hi! I just saw your svt match up thing and I wanted to see if can I request one too!
I love Seventeen. I'm from India and I love music a lot, it's a part of me, I love singing and I'd love to properly learn music, and dance. I enjoy reading and writing, drawing and watching films of many languages and kdramas.
I'm a bit introverted so I might come off as silent or uninterested but once they make conversation and we click I'll talk nonstop, especially about movies and TV shows and kdramas.
I'm shy and not good at making conversation or friends.
I love to go out with friends and I wish more of them would invite me, I love nature in general, I love picking shells at beaches, misty afternoons, cloudy mornings, the smell of the earth before rain, cottagecore and puppies, kittens, basically any animal that will let me kiss them, (or even the ones that won't).
I automatically forget everything and smile, genuinely when I'm watching Seventeen.
I match you with S.Coups!
For the lack of a better term, you seem like a new soul - someone who approaches everything with a lot of interest and charm. I think this is a trait that Seungcheol would find particularly adorable, and would probably be the reason he gained an interest in you in the first place.
He would 100% take you through the music making process of that’s something you’re interested in, and would probably convince Jihoon to let you into the Universe Factory at least once just to see where the magic gets made.
I think he’d find you very admirable, someone he can just gaze at for hours on end while you talk about your interests. You also seem like a grounded person, which I think Seungcheol needs in his life. Somewhere he can put his roots down, stop worrying so much, and just get to be himself. I’m sure you’d be able to offer him that safe space!

Image Skincare sunscreen
IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION: Ingredients and Uses
IMAGE Skincare is a brand known for its innovative and effective skincare products, and the PREVENTION+ line is particularly popular for its sun protection and anti-aging benefits. This line includes various products designed to protect the skin from environmental damage while providing hydration and nourishment. In this article, we'll delve into the ingredients used in IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION+ products and explore their specific uses and benefits.
Overview of IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION+ Line
The IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION+ line is designed to offer comprehensive sun protection along with skincare benefits. These products are formulated to protect the skin from UVA and UVB rays, which are the primary causes of skin damage and premature aging. The line includes moisturizers with SPF, designed to be lightweight, non-greasy, and suitable for daily use. They are enriched with ingredients that not only shield the skin from the sun but also provide hydration, improve texture, and support overall skin health.
Key Ingredients in IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION+
1. Zinc Oxide and Titanium Dioxide
Zinc oxide and titanium dioxide are mineral-based sunscreen agents that provide broad-spectrum protection against UVA and UVB rays. They work by sitting on the skin's surface and physically blocking harmful rays, making them ideal for sensitive skin. Unlike chemical sunscreens, these minerals are less likely to cause irritation, making them suitable for all skin types, including sensitive and acne-prone skin.
2. Octinoxate
Octinoxate is a chemical sunscreen agent that absorbs UVB rays, preventing them from penetrating the skin and causing damage. It is often used in combination with other sunscreen agents to provide comprehensive protection. Octinoxate is effective in preventing sunburn and reducing the risk of long-term sun damage.
3. Homosalate
Homosalate is another chemical sunscreen ingredient that absorbs UVB rays. It helps to enhance the overall sun protection factor (SPF) of a product. Homosalate is often used in conjunction with other sunscreens to ensure broad-spectrum protection.
4. Antioxidants (Vitamin C and E)
Antioxidants such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E are crucial in protecting the skin from free radical damage caused by UV exposure. These vitamins help neutralize free radicals, reduce inflammation, and support the skin's natural repair processes. Vitamin C is known for its brightening effects, while Vitamin E provides nourishment and improves skin texture.
5. Peptides
Peptides are short chains of amino acids that serve as building blocks for proteins like collagen and elastin. In skincare, peptides help to promote collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. They play a vital role in anti-aging formulations by enhancing skin firmness and resilience.
6. Hyaluronic Acid
Hyaluronic acid is a powerful humectant that attracts and retains moisture in the skin. It helps keep the skin hydrated, plump, and supple, reducing the appearance of fine lines and dryness. Hyaluronic acid is lightweight and non-greasy, making it suitable for all skin types.
7. Botanical Extracts
Botanical extracts such as green tea, chamomile, and aloe vera are commonly included in the PREVENTION+ line for their soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. These extracts help calm irritated skin, reduce redness, and provide additional antioxidant benefits.
Uses and Benefits of IMAGE Skincare PREVENTION+ Products
Daily Moisturizer with SPF
The daily moisturizers in the PREVENTION+ line are designed to provide hydration and sun protection in one step. Suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
Hydrating Moisturizer with SPF
The hydrating moisturizers in the line are formulated to offer intense hydration along with sun protection. They are ideal for dry or dehydrated skin types, providing a boost of moisture that lasts throughout the day. The inclusion of hyaluronic acid and nourishing botanical extracts ensures the skin remains soft, plump, and healthy-looking.
Benefits:
Deeply hydrates and nourishes the skin.
Shields the skin from harmful UV rays.
Soothes and calms irritated or sensitive skin.
Enhances the skin's natural radiance and glow.
Anti-Aging Moisturizer with SPF
These moisturizers focus on providing sun protection while addressing signs of aging. Boosts collagen production for firmer skin.
Protects against environmental stressors and UV damage.
Enhances overall skin tone and texture.
Matte Moisturizer with SPF
The matte moisturizers are perfect for those with oily or combination skin. They provide sun protection without leaving a greasy residue, helping to control shine and maintain a matte finish throughout the day. These products often contain oil-absorbing ingredients that keep the skin looking fresh and balanced.
Benefits:
Provides a matte finish ideal for oily skin.
Offers broad-spectrum sun protection.
Helps control excess oil and shine.
Leaves the skin feeling smooth and even.
Conclusion

Maybe I'll stay
-What did I do wrong? WHY THE FUCK DID I GAIN 2 KILOS THIS WEEK?- It had been 2 weeks since my grandson Jeremy and I had that big fight, we can never stand each other, but because of the appreciation I had for him when he was just a child, I let him live with me. He was disgusted by my way of life, “Grandpa makes me sick to see you sitting for hours on the couch in front of the TV, could you get up and get out of the house for a couple of hours? A girl is coming tonight, and I don't want her to see you” I had heard his hurtful words from him for too long, I was fed up with him behaving like this when I offered him to live with me when his parents kicked him out of the house.
-THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE, THIS SHIT MUST BE BROKEN! I'M GOING TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER SCALE- I couldn't help but laugh as I walked slowly to complain to one of the coaches that his equipment was "broken"
-You better make it quick kid, you know what that means. you're going to stay in that body another week, and I'll stay in yours...- I and my grandson Jeremy made a little bit, if he managed to lose a couple of kilos in my body and not be so unpleasant I would agree to leave the house when He will take all the girls he wants to the house and when I die my house and my car will be all his, I had completely forgotten the magic relic that I got on my trip to India a couple of decades ago, I never thought I would use it and much less with my grandson.
But the first moment I put my mind on his hot, muscular young body, I knew I didn't want to get out of it. My grandson had everything to gain, with my house and all my belongings, and I had nothing to lose but leaving the house and fulfilling his whim to my inconsiderate grandson, we both touched the ancient statue of that Indian god at the same time and our consciousness traveled from our bodies to the statue and then to the body of the other, it was like being on a roller coaster for one second.
My grandson was more concerned about not missing a day at the gym before finishing university, all of us in the family did not understand why he made such a stupid decision, but now that I have his body and all his long work in the gym I can understand it, I feel incredible! Now I can understand what a shitty body he had.
I've been swapping out Jeremy's lean food for the greasy version, adding sugar to his protein shakes, and leaving cold beer and ice cream in the fridge for that greasy bag of trash to see so he can't get his body back.
Maybe this will teach my grandson a lesson about not making fun of his grandpa, or maybe I'll stay in his hot young body forever who knows, all I know is that the blonde girl in the gym keeps staring at my huge biceps and she'll be in my bed tonight, I just hope the fat drunk old man watching tv in the living room doesn't bother my new girl.

The Beatles [The White Album] (1968)
So, after the terrific high of Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, and the rather more wobbly TV Special with some songs made for it that was Magical Mystery Tour (and the subsequent US spin that I covered, in opposition to the Band's original intent), The Beatles were in an odd place. India, Brian Epstein's death, John's controversial new girlfriend, tensions tightening enough that Ringo left for a couple of weeks and, of course, one of the longest damn albums ever. As it's a whopping FOUR sides, I'm gonna be doing a lightning round of sorts, let's crack on. (I don't normally hafta write this, but please scroll past the big white void lol)
Yes indeed, in deliberate contrast to the maximalist Sgt Pepper, this one is beyond minimal. The original pressings also had a unique serial number stamped in, but this has gotta be the most austere covers ever. The way the name is off centre adds a little visual interest, and one can argue this too is fine art (though it's a bit sterile for my tastes) and is suited for the task of holding all the varied songs which lack a unifying theme. Naturally, this stark white-ness gives the album it's much more common name, as just naming it after the band is pretty dull and confusing lol
SIDE ONE
Back In The U.S.S.R.: A parody of both Back In The USA and California Girls, but also a dope rock song in it's own right. Paul brings high energy, quickly but clearly sung lyrics and a slightly controversial sentiment where people aren't sure if it's pro- or anti- communism but chose one side to get pissed off at. As this one was recorded before Ringo re-joined the band, it seems the other 3 all had a certain amount of percussion presence instead. It's a good start to the album but not an all-time favourite.
Dear Prudence: Written in India in an attempt to reach out to fellow Meditation-er, Prudence Farrow, who would hole herself up in her bungalow and not answer for hours on end. It's pretty sounding but I find the name Prudence hard to take seriously... sorry, lady!
Glass Onion: A sequel to I Am The Walrus and packed with references to other Beatle songs, I dig this. It doesn't hafta have secret extra layers to be interesting lol
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da: I am a certified Obladi Oblada ENJOYER and I think anyone who hates it is weak and boring, though I give the band themselves a bit of leeway here as they had to do many, many takes. But the final version is such fun~ And again I find it interesting how said Perfectionist Paul put in that bit about Desmond seemingly doing drag towards the end XD
Wild Honey Pie: Really bad. If it's a sequel to Honey Pie why does it come on before it??
The Continuing Story Of Bungalow Bill: The story of a lameass hunter who needs his Mum with him on hunts lol. I like how we can quite clearly hear Ringo and Yoko's voices in the choruses, adds a unique flavour.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps: FINALLY!! I can say something really enthused about a George Song for the first time since pre-Revolver! Yeah this one kicks ass, the slightly randoms strings of words still come together to make a poignant, emotive song. Though I'm not wild on the moaning at the end, and I much prefer the Acoustic version, which sounds more intimate and doesn't have Icky Clapton on it. The shamisen cover is nice too but that might be my Weeb side showing, the title does make a bit less sense that way too lol. - Anyway yeah, even this early on in the album this is easily one of the strongest numbers and is a nice showing of what George can do with his turn in the Writing Songs department.
Happiness Is A Warm Gun: A title that aged poorly whether literal or the metaphor for heroin, the song itself is another word salad that John's so fond of. The melody changes a lot so it's more interesting for the ears that way, but I'm not enchanted. Kind of like the album as a whole in that it's a mixture with not-so-hidden darkness, I s'pose.
SIDE TWO
Martha My Dear: An upbeat ditty about Paul's beloved dog. Got some of that old fashioned vibe with strings and brass sections. If ya didn't know about the big shaggy Old English Shepherd muse, I guess the lyrics sound pretty bizarre given Pauls' penchant for writing about Girls, or his displeasure with Jane Asher or Girls who may actually be John.
I'm So Tired: Unlike I'm Only Sleeping, this isn't a soothing ode to being in bed, it's more about being tormented. The lyrics get more testy and sharp with the progression and then some mumbling at the end I can't make out. Maybe a bit too good at portraying stress, I'm not into it.
Blackbird: A song in tribute to the struggles of black girls denied basic civil rights, this feels empathetic and reassuring. Even without the subtext it's a very pretty, low-key song, assisted by real vocals from an actual Blackbird, but I do recommend keeping the message in mind for this one.
Piggies: George at it again, this time with satire! Pretty clearly against Capitalism and the class system, based. We even hear a vocal from George's Mum! Even knowing it's part of the lampooning, the harpsichord and string music sounds pretty, and it helps with the juxtaposition baked in.
Rocky Raccoon: A narrative song about an odd Western scene, in which the title character (furriness status unclear) tries to get revenge on his perceived rival but fails. Easy enough to listen to but probably more notable for naming Rocket Raccoon in Marvel Comics [they had to change the name slightly lol].
Don't Pass Me By: Not just a rare Ringo song, the first one he wrote himself! This again goes for a country and western style and the narrative is similar to the Beatles For Sale type of plots. I dig the fiddle though it feels like there's a filter of sorts over Ringo's beautiful voice? That's odd. Anyway I do prefer it to What Goes On but Act Naturally clears this easy ^w^;
Why Don't We Do It In The Road?: Bad. The piano is neat but wasted. Only a smidge better than Wild Honey Pie.
I Will: A very nice song that's been seized by many, many weddings lol - very much short but sweet and I appreciate that youtube comments also apply this to a lullaby for children.
Julia: I know this is a very personal song of John's, being about his mother, and it's certainly more beautiful and heartfelt than most of this album. My main gripe is kinda petty and it's that the words get strung out a bit long. Everything else is very nice and peaceful.
SIDE THREE
Birthday: A cool rocking tune with lyrics that, while not phenomenal, blow Happy Birthday To You out of the water and into the trash where it belongs. It even gets uptempo for the bridge and changes the melody~ I hadn't heard this one until doing this write up though lol
Yer Blues: I'm not into the heavier stuff, especially knowing John's many, many issues and that this song was one of the ones where he leaned into it a bit to avoid detection. Hard Blues may have good musicianship (like this does, ooh that drumming and guitar work!) and be a decent outlet for one's woes, but I can't enjoy it.
Mother Nature's Son: This is back into a calm, gentle vibe with acoustic guitar and basic percussion. Paul keeps it simple and it's stronger for it, leaning into evocative imagery and humming.
Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey: This title is too long and that pisses me off. Booooo!! 🍅🍅🍅 It's also a very harsh sound straight after the previous song, so I'll dock extra points for that. Otherwise it's an ok rock song I guess but I ain't digging it.
Sexy Sadie: This has an interesting sound and a lot of narrative focus. I think I like the piano best. It's decent. Maybe another great song vastly overshadowed by their own catolague? lol
Helter Skelter: I really like how proto-Metal music was about a kind of spiral slide found at funfairs. Sure, helter-skelter is also a phrase for things being in disarray, but Paul's lyrics clearly talk about the act of going down one'a these things made for children lmao. There's supposedly a secret extra long version, but the take used on the album still features a long coda and Ringo moment. I hope his fingers soon recovered xx
Long, Long, Long: Another George instalment! It starts off very quiet and intimate, and then crashing drums come and go, without it jarring. Then after the song a strange rattling begins and gets jamming to go along with it, apparently it was a wine bottle vibrating on a speaker? Huh! Song overall is nice but this odd ending feels a bit like a miniaturised version of the album, again!
SIDE FOUR
Revolution 1: A cool rock intro that then becomes a pretty vague kinda-political but unfortunately fence-sitting load of waffling. I get they ain't really in the best position to start calling for Landlords to be tarred and feathered, but living in 2024 and the current hellscape leaves me with less patience for this. Also I've no idea if this is the same as the Revolution without a number, I presume it's slower but I don't wanna go listen to the other one when I already ain't digging this. Piggies clears this easy.
Honey Pie: Why wasn't this before Wild Honey Pie?? This one resembles an actual song! Albeit in a kind of chopped up, ad libbing curiosity which swings. A lot more enjoyable than many other things on this compilation, though!
Savoy Truffle: Another George song (that's good!) and another Clapton having one (oh, that's bad). Not gonna lie though, it does make me want to eat some chocolates.
Cry Baby Cry: Another narrative that doesn't make much sense, but I find myself enjoying the lovely instrumental work. Another song that was brand new to my ears, though allegedly it cameos for a few seconds in Yellow Submarine, so I'll try hearing that next time I watch it :3 - Oh, and there's a coda. My main crit being John using an odd small voice for the whole thing.
Revolution 9: Number Nine. Number Nine. Number Nine. Yeah no, if this is an introduction to Musique Concrete then I don't want any. I can never listen to this whole thing, this write-up being no exception.
Good Night: A nice, peaceful song to cap this Experience off, with Ringo's lovely vocal work on a lullaby John wrote for his son. Critics may find it saccharine but I for one welcome it with open arms. Even with the surprize whispering after the main event, it manages to stay on tone and indeed feel like a parent tucking their child in.
CONCLUSION
I considered doubling the Best / Blurst amount but ehhhh, I'll stay consistent. It might be interesting to see what songs end up in like/dislike piles, but I've already spent ages on this, so maybe after the main Album reviews as a bonus issue. Maybe ¬w¬;;
Best 3: Ob-La-Di Ob-La-Da, While My Guitar Gently Weeps, Helter Skelter
Blurst 3: Wild Honey Pie, Why Don't We Do It In The Road, Revolution 9
Ough. This bitch is Eclectic. There's something for everyone, but that also means there isn't much for some listeners, like myself. I feel this has been my most negative so far but there's some gems, it's just while I generally enjoyed the lesser songs of their earlier work (variable according to how poorly the main jist ages like all the Possessive Songs in AHDN lol), the songs I don't like here feel worse as they're further removed from the music I love, and the Bugs were older and more experienced by this stage and their dumb joke songs feel more irritating. But that's me. I know a lotta people dig the sheer range of choice here, and that's cool. At least in theory.
🪲🪲🪲🪲
Remember how much I wrote and quoted in Sgt Pepper? That was fun. Fortunately I know more amazing songs are coming up, wiiiith (sounds of clicking on another tab) Yellow Submarine, Abbey Road and Let It Be. Ok, as YS only has 4 new songs, I'll group that into the movie review that I'll do later on [and am warmly anticipating!], and Abbey Road was issued first but I am not ending the Albums on Let It Be! I want them to conclude on a HIGH note!!! So yeah, join me in November to Let It C, D, E

Media watchdog rules hate speeches broadcast were 'very serious' and could encourage vulnerable viewers to commit murder.
Two UK television stations, whose founder has been banned from the country for almost a decade, have been fined £300,000 for inciting murder and broadcasting hate speeches.
The media regulator Ofcom found that four programmes on Peace TV and Peace TV Urdu breached broadcasting rules on incitement to commit crime, hate speech, abuse and offence after it aired diatribes that described people “worse than animals” and advocated the execution of magicians.
It ruled that the broadcasts were “very serious” and could encourage vulnerable viewers to commit killings.
The watchdog had threatened to strip the stations, which claimed to reach 200 million viewers, of the licences but both voluntarily surrendered them last November.
“In this case, the potential for very serious harm if this material incited others was clear,“ the watchdog said.
“Ofcom was concerned that the statements made by the scholar had the clear potential to influence impressionable viewers by encouraging serious crime, up to and including murder, and/or leading to disorder in relation to members of the public, in particular to Muslim people practicing magic as part of their faith.
“We also found that the scholar’s religious standing gave his statements greater weight and authority with the viewer, which compounded the seriousness of the breach. Ofcom considers the potential harm arising from such hate speech to be very serious.”
Both the satellite stations are funded by UK registered charity the Islamic Research Foundation International.
The licence for Peace TV was held by Lord Productions Limited, which has been fined £100,000, and Club TV, which held the licence for Peace TV Urdu, has been fined £200,000 over the breaches.
“In reaching its decision on the imposition of a sanction in this case, Ofcom has taken full account of the need to ensure that any penalty acts as a deterrent, including to other broadcasters,” it added.
“In this case Ofcom believed that a financial penalty was necessary to reflect the serious nature of the Code breaches and to act as an effective incentive to comply with the Code, for other licensees.”
Club TV and Lord Productions Limited are both owned by parent company Universal Broadcasting Corporation Limited.
Ofcom previously fined Club TV £65,000 for hate speech violations in 2016.
Indian-born Islamic preacher Zakir Naik, who is based in Malaysia, founded UBCL and is also the founder and chair of the IRFI charity.
Two of the breaches related to him.
The 53-year-old, who preached on the stations, is banned from the UK, India and Bangladesh and is accused by the Indian government of laundering £23m.
India and Bangladesh have accused him of inspiring terror acts, after the perpetrators of two separate attacks had allegedly followed his sermons.
In 2010, Britain banned Mr Naik from entering the country, citing “unacceptable behaviour”, although it never spelled out the nature of the behaviour.

Indeed, they who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture and the polytheists will be in the fire of Hell, abiding eternally therein. Those are the worst of creatures.
https://quranx.com/Hadith/AbuDawud/Hasan/Hadith-3037
Narrated Umar ibn al-Khattab: Amr ibn Aws and AbulSha'tha' reported that Bujalah said: I was secretary to Jaz' ibn Mu'awiyah, the uncle of Ahnaf ibn Qays. A letter came to us from Umar one year before his death, saying: Kill every magician, separate the relatives of prohibited degrees from the Magians, and forbid them to murmur (before eating). So we killed three magicians in one day, and separated from a Magian husband his wife of a prohibited degree according to the Book of Allah. He prepared abundant food and called them, and placed the sword on his thigh. They ate (the food) but did not murmur. They threw (on the ground) one or two mule-loads of silver. Umar did not take jizyah from Magians until AbdurRahman ibn Awf witnessed that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) had taken jizyah from the Magians of Hajar.
"Peace TV."
Fined for inciting violence and hate.
😂
If it's "incitement to commit crime" and "hate speech" to simply cite the Islamic scripture and doctrine, then Islam is inherently a violent and hateful religion.
Islam is not a religion of peace.
