NEW MUSIC:
Green Day’s Billie Joe Armstrong recorded a cover of “I Think We’re Alone Now” by Tommy James and the Shondells in his bedroom, which he then shared with the world. He also put together a video for the cover, paying tribute to the band’s early years.
All Time Low released two new tracks off their upcoming album Wake Up, Sunshine, “Melancholy Kaleidoscope” and “Trouble is.” The band also stopped by Vevo to perform an intimate set of acoustic songs.
Nine Inch Nails surprised fans with two complete albums, Ghosts V-VI. The records were released last Thursday for free download on the band’s official site and all streaming services.
Neck Deep announced a submission-based opportunity to appear in the music video for their second single “When You Know,” off their upcoming studio album All Distortions Are Intentional. The deadline for fan video submissions is this Friday, April 3rd.
August Burns Red dropped the third single from their upcoming album Guardians, titled “Paramount.” Lead guitarist JB Brubaker stated that the song is among his favorites from the new album.
Machine Gun Kelly teamed up with Blink-182’s Travis Barker, Omer Fedi and Steve “Baze” Basil for a full cover of Paramore’s “Misery Business.” Previously, MGK has covered Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “Californication,” Nirvana’s “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and Juice WRLD’s “Lucid Dreams.
After twice delaying their upcoming album, the 1975 finally tweeted photos of their cover for Notes on a Conditional Form and announced the new release date yesterday. The cover showcases the band and album name, along with the phrase “music for cars.”
TOUR ANNOUNCEMENTS:
After postponing the ceremony due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has chosen to reschedule its date for later this year. The event will now take place on November 7th at the Public Auditorium in Cleveland, which will also be streamed via HBO.
Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz livestreamed a “concert” last Monday night using action figures of his bandmates. With a live recording playing in the background, the band “played” their hit song “Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down” while Wentz filmed.
In light of coronavirus, Dance Gavin Dance announced they are rescheduling their spring dates to early August. The new beginning date will be on August 4th in Seattle, with the tour ending at Swanfest on September 12th in Sacramento, California.

Motionless in White postponed their upcoming tour due to coronavirus. The tour would have kicked off in late April with support from Knocked Loose, Stick to Your Guns and Ovtlier as openers.
The Twitch Stream Aid 2020, featuring performances by All Time Low‘s Alex Gaskarth, Halestorm and Steve Aoki, took place on Saturday. All proceeds went to the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

Since testing positive for coronavirus two weeks ago, Crown the Empire’s Brandon Hoover is now free of all symptoms. The guitarist posted a video online assuring fans that he has been cleared by the Los Angeles Health Department.
Thursday are doing their part in aiding the coronavirus relief by using select merch items and turning them into face masks in an effort to supply the worldwide shortage. The band tweeted out their intentions early yesterday.
