In the darkest hour of the night

My heart it aches.

It lacks your warm embrace.

I lay here all alone,

I wish you’d just say hello.

I wish I could hold you one last time

We’d dream and fade away

In each other’s arms we’d turn to clay.

My arms wrapped around you

I’d never let you go

I would have held you so much tighter

If I knew our time was just as tight…

I’d have put a ring around that…
