Ooh, let's do "Remember Me" !
Did someone order some cute family fluff for their OC? 😊
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, ISSY! I hope you’re having a great day! 🥳
~
It was another perfect day in their little paradise. The sun shone brightly from a cloudless sky as the pleasant sea breeze kept the family cool and comfortable, their afternoon spent once more with a casual picnic on the private beach. Diana had chosen the location well, the seaside residence a fitting rental for an assassin and handler celebrating their secret child’s second birthday. She enjoyed a moment to bask in the sun as 47 watched over their daughter Madeleine, her bouncy curls tamed by a purple sun hat while she played underneath the safety of a large beach umbrella.
Madeleine seemed to have grown in the blink of an eye from her father’s perspective. Her mother did her best to arrange their visits and exchanges whenever possible, but it was difficult to do so often with the demanding schedule of their profession. Many times 47 had said goodnight to his daughter over the phone and across the world as she laid in her crib, worrying that his presence was becoming unfamiliar to his own child with the many days they spent apart. He felt the weight of that distance as he watched her play on their holiday, her milestones proving how much she had learned in just a matter of months. She was piecing more words together nowadays, a skill she indulged in while pointing at things her mother held and correctly identified them. She was able to kick a ball on her own and blew many kisses with her little hands to both of her parents. They were wonderful achievements for 47 to witness, but a bittersweet experience all the same.
He felt Diana stir from the sand to sit at his side. She wrapped her sun-kissed arms around his waist as he placed his arm around her. He didn’t need to explain for she knew what was on his mind.
“Madeleine asks for you often,” she reminded him. “She likes hearing your voice—she hardly goes to sleep without it.”
He watched their child wave at the sea birds skimming the ocean waves. “I’ve missed so much already. What if she forgets about me?”
“She knows her father, 47,” Diana murmured, pressing a soft kiss to his chest. “She’ll always know.”
They eventually returned to the beach house as the afternoon gave way to evening. Diana unlocked the door and held up a finger to 47 before he could enter, asking him to wait as she searched inside for something. She reappeared a minute later with a Polaroid camera, much to 47’s surprise.
“Here,” she offered, exchanging Madeleine for the camera. “To carry us with you, always.”
47 chuckled softly and kissed Diana tenderly, taking a moment to rest his forehead against hers. He stepped back as Diana stood with Madeleine propped on her hip, kissing her daughter’s cheek and earning a happy giggle in response. They both smiled brightly as 47 snapped a picture.
Madeleine’s giggling slowed as she blinked from the camera’s flash. She looked at her father curiously, unsure of how to react to the unfamiliar device as it ejected the photo of her and her mother. 47 smiled and she smiled back, reaching her hands out for him and asking for Papa Up! next. He nodded to Diana as they again traded Madeleine for the camera. Diana felt a warmth bloom in her chest as 47 looked down at their daughter and she grinned up at him, their hearts fuller than they ever thought possible.

Happy birthday Madeleine!
Madeleine is an OC who belongs to @issytheamateurnerd , I'm just borrowing her to celebrate her birthday. This takes place in a universe where Absolution is canon, but I have no clue what months that game was supposed to take place in so uh...bear with me. Thank you for creating Madeleine, Issy! Have some fluff! Rated G, no warnings apply.
--
new beginnings
"Madeleine?" Diana called out from the kitchen of Burnwood Manor as she heard two pairs of stockinged feet walk by.
"Yeah mum?" Two heads appeared around the corner.
"It's your fifteenth birthday next week. Have you thought about what you'd like to do?" Diana reached across the kitchen island and stole a cherry tomato from 47's cutting bord. He gently swatted her hand with the back of his knife before continuing to chop up the vegetables for their dinner.
"What's a birthday?" Victoria suddenly asked.
"Don't you know what a birthday is?" Madeleine dragged Victoria into the kitchen. "Don't you have a birthday?"
"No? Should I?"
"Your birthday is the date you were born. That's the date that people celebrate that you've grown one year older," Diana explained, shooting 47 a look that said girl talk, I'll handle this. He answered with the slightest nod, remaining quiet as Diana led both girls into her study.
"Here," Diana said, unlocking the top drawer of her desk and retrieving her actual legitimate passport. "See?" Victoria took it from her, and together with Madeleine she sat down on the plush sofa, studying the legal document.
"Given name(s): Diana Penelope. Surname: Burnwood. Date of birth-- But that's in the past!" Diana chuckled.
"Yes, my mother gave birth to me on September 12th, 1972. But that means my birthday is on September 12th, every year."
"And mine's on November 19th!" Madeleine exclaimed enthusiastically. Victoria frowned.
"But I don't have a mother. I wasn't born." She sighed. "I guess that means I don't have one." Diana hummed, shaking her head.
"No, that just means you get a different date. 47 wasn't born either; he was created, like you. And since we know the day he was created, his birthday is that day: September 5th."
"But I don't know when I was created."
"Mum, I know what I want for my birthday," Madeleine suddenly interrupted. Diana tilted her head to the side. "I want a passport for Victoria, with a birthday." Chuckling, Diana shook her head.
"I'm sure we can get her one, but we will also get you a real present, something that's just for you."
"How about May 8th?" Victoria suggested quietly.
"Why May 8th?" Madeleine asked, handing Diana's passport back to her mother.
"That's when 47 brought you back to me," Diana realised. "And you met Madeleine."
"That's when my life began."

Could you do 27?
"This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard" from this fic drabble ask.
-
He slowly opens the girl's bedroom door, peering in to find her asleep, with her foot propped up on pillows and her stuffed rabbit held close. He doesn't enter, not wanting to wake her. Instead, he takes a short moment to watch her, ensuring the teen is comfortable and sleeping soundly before closing the door and returning downstairs.
Diana sits in the living room, wrapped up in her silk robe as she scrolls through the latest news on her tablet.
"You don't need to keep checking on her," she says softly without looking up. "I'm sure nothing has changed in the last 14 minutes."
He sits on the couch near her, his fingers desperately trying not to fidget against his own knees. He glances up at the living room clock, realizing she was right. It had only been a few minutes since he last checked on their child.
"What did the doctor say again?" He asks.
She sighs, resting the tablet in her lap, giving him a look he knows all too well.
"Please?" He practically begs.
"She'll be fine in a few days," she speaks slowly. "A week at most. It's just a moderate sprain of the ankle, 47. Nothing more."
"And you're sure the doctor double checked the scan?"
"Triple checked. I'm certain. It's only a sprain."
"Okay," he nods, still only half convinced. An uncertain feeling gnaws at the pit of his stomach. He hesitates if only slightly, before continuing his line of questioning.
"Do you think...." He trails off, eyes glued to the floor.
"Think what?"
He purses his lips, frustrated. "It's stupid."
She clicks her tongue in disapproval. "Come on. I'm sure it isn't stupid. Tell me."
"Do you think she's mad at me?"
"Mad at you? God no, 47."
"I pushed her too hard-"
"Now, now." She puts up a finger to stop him. "I've seen you train together, she pushes you just as hard."
"We were running through the woods and-"
"I know for a fact that she loves to race you home for dinner... and that you've been the rotten egg on more than one occasion."
"Diana, I should have been more careful."
"She's a growing girl with lots of energy. Accidents are bound to happen. We can't help it, it's a part of life."
"Sometimes I just..." he grits his teeth together.
She continues to listen, pushing her tablet onto the coffee table.
"I just think you two would be better off without me," he speaks in a low voice.
"Oh 47, no." She chides pitifully. She moves over to the couch to sit right next to him, and takes his hands in her own.
"Now that is the stupidest thing I've ever heard," she says, in a bit of a playful tone. "We couldn't possibly survive without you around."
He looks up at her, his eyes still full of disappointment in himself.
"You've seen how excited she is when you come home from travelling. She loves spending time with you, and there are just some things I can't do. You won't catch me running in these woods or climbing those tall trees, or even watching those God awful comedy movies you both like."
He gives her a small smile.
"You make her breakfast just the way she likes and you're a very good tutor when it comes to her online studies. You always somehow know exactly what she wants for her birthday."
He nods slowly.
"You're her father, 47. I know how much you love her, and so does she."
He squeezes her hands in return, his self doubt starting to fade.
"Come on, let's get you a nice drink and maybe I can give you a shoulder rub to take your mind off of things, hm? And we can check on her one more time before we go to bed."
He cracks another one of his small, signature smiles before putting his arm around Diana, pulling her close and pressing a kiss against her forehead.

I played this mission (and subsequently finished HITMAN 3 even though it was very late because I simply couldn’t go to bed after the “Necessary Evil” cutscene) three years ago today.
On Valentine’s Day.
It was a coincidence, but because I’ve been obsessed with whatever is going on between these two (i.e. an ineffable and seemingly unbreakable bond that is neither really romance nor friendship but is so strong and special it feels to me like it transcends the concept of love itself) for years, I thought it was a funny one.

For the prompt asks! How about #11? 😊
Thank you so much for giving me the idea for this prompt game and for the ask! This was a lovely choice 😁
#11 - being repeatedly astonished how tiny the baby is
Diana lay on her side, her hair undone and tousled, and a trace of sweat still visible on her forehead. The few hours of sleep she'd managed to get helped a little with the exhaustion, but her body still felt heavy and sore beyond belief.
Her sleepy eyes calmly watched the bassinet beside her bed, where her little Madeleine wiggled slightly as she settled against the soft blanket. She couldn't tear her focus away from the newborn, she was just so…tiny.
“You should get some more sleep,” 47 reminded her gently. He had been hovering around, tending to everything Diana and Madeleine needed all night, and even as the sun was starting to rise, his dedicated care wasn't dying down in the least.
He sat beside her, lovingly rubbing her shoulder. “I'll watch over her, you can rest.”
Diana gave a tired smile, “I know, but I can't stop looking at her,” she reached out a hand towards the bassinet, placing her finger on the baby's curled fist. “She's so small, isn't she? That little nose, those tiny fingers…”
Her voice trailed off as she held Madeleine's hand. It was strange…47 had never seen her so cutely affectionate. Although he had also never seen her so sleep-deprived.
“She might be too small,” 47 commented with a hint of worry, “she's not premature but she may need more than-”
“How much did she weigh?” Diana cut in.
“What?”
“You weighed her, right? How much did she weigh?”
47 hesitated for a moment, “Three kilos.”
Diana smiled and playfully shook her head, “That's normal, 47. She's healthy, just a tiny little sweetheart.”
She gently pulled him down, and he lay beside her and wrapped his arm over her waist. He could feel the way Diana melted into his embrace, but her gaze was still locked on their daughter.
“Did you notice that she has your eyes?” She asked.
47 nodded against her, “I did.”
“I think she has my lips, though. Just…impossibly smaller.”
47 subtlety smiled, watching Madeleine’s breathing soften as she drifted off to sleep.
“Smaller and perfect.”

Hey, Mythy. I could use some... inspiration, you know? I don't want my Hitman hyperfixation to be over so maybe you could help a girl out?
I'm thinking a continuation of the Hitman bad ending chapter you did with Hayloft 2 but with the song Aftermath by Caravan Palace! Please and thank you ❤️
Hi Issy! I hope you enjoy this continuation of your bad ending inspired by that wonderfully chill and haunting tune. I set it after your Hayloft II song request fic as well as your Aftermath fic!
I hope it’s inspiring like you wanted ❤️ HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🥳
Some “Previously On” Context for Readers:
Madeleine Burnwood (Issy’s OC, daughter of Diana and 47) was left behind on the train as serum-induced 47 was taken away by Arthur Edwards. Since then, she reunited with her mother to formulate a plan to get 47 back. 47 is sent after Madeleine but he spares her life and lies to Edwards about her demise before returning to Providence.
youtube
Madeleine knew well what her father was capable of. As the world’s greatest assassin, he was known for being cold, calculating, and efficient. If 47 was sent to kill someone, their demise was all but assured.
So why did she survive?
She replayed the moment over and over in her mind. She remembered her father approaching her, utterly menacing despite being calm and unarmed, ready to drop her over the balcony ledge at the Constant’s orders. Yet instead of falling to her death, she was dropped into the relative safety of a swimming pool below. 47 disobeyed Edwards and left Madeleine alive, lying that the kill was successful knowing full well it wasn’t. He left her to deal with the emotional aftermath as she made her escape, feeling shocked yet cautiously hopeful.
When Madeleine told Diana what happened, her mother struggled with her own mix of complicated emotions. She took a moment to hug Madeleine tightly, releasing her once she was convinced that her daughter was as well as she could be. Trauma notwithstanding, Madeleine was safe. For now, Providence thought she was dead and they would use that to their advantage.
They settled in with some tea and discussed what they learned from the encounter. Despite being injected with the serum, 47 hadn’t lost his memories. Or rather, he recognized Madeleine as someone he didn’t want to kill. Did Providence tell him who she was? Did he figure it out on his own? Would he recognize Diana and show her the same mercy he showed their daughter?
“Dad defied Edwards because of me,” Madeleine pointed out. “He might remember us if we spoke with him together. Maybe we could convince him to leave Providence.”
“It’s possible,” Diana murmured. Though the serum was first administered decades ago, 47 was able to recognize Lucas from their days at the Institute. It wasn’t until he received the antidote that he fully recalled his past. It was possible he could still retain some memory of their family now that he’d been drugged once more, or at the very least not be wholly committed to Providence. “But there’s still so much we don’t know, Madeleine. It would be incredibly dangerous.”
“I know, but it’s the best lead we have,” she shrugged. “I think it’s worth a try.”
Diana closed her eyes and took a deep breath to collect her thoughts. She could easily bait a trap so 47 would come after her, but Edwards would likely join him and hinder their plan with his presence. The Constant would undoubtedly have more planned for Diana than a simple bullet—he may even bring a team with him to assist with her extraction. Regardless, Diana wouldn’t allow Providence the chance to capture her. She refused to let Madeleine be without both of her parents.
After a moment of silence, she looked at Madeleine and nodded grimly. “Very well. But if we’re going to do this, it needs to be on our terms. We need to mitigate the risks as much as possible.”
They decided to locate 47 first and attempt to get him alone before confronting him. They hoped to send him a message that only he would recognize, something inconsequential enough that the Constant wouldn’t become suspicious at his response. Unfortunately, the resources for locating 47 were few. The ICA was gone and Diana had no other contacts to enlist to track his location, or at least none that weren’t possibly compromised by an association with Providence. She feared their plan was over before it could begin.
“Well,” Madeleine began. “There is one person we could call—“
Diana shook her head. “I’m not sure she wants us contacting her anymore. She’s been through enough.”
“Do we have any other choice?”
“No,” her mother sighed. “I suppose we don’t.”
———
Delriego directed Madeleine to a diner that had seen better days, its seats cracked and counters worn from decades of steady service. She noticed the coffee makers were older than she was as she scouted for cameras, confirming there were none to be found in the building. She respected its appeal for a hacker’s business meeting.
Madeleine walked to the back and slid into the green booth facing away from the entrance as Delriego instructed. She shook the rain from her coat but left her hood on, hoping she wouldn’t immediately be recognized and abandoned before she had the chance to speak. Though no one was actively smoking in the area, she recognized a familiar scent of tobacco lingering in the booth, the flavor reminiscent of the cigarettes Uncle Lucas smoked at the safehouse. Perhaps the diner held more value for its memories than its meetings.
The bell jingled above the entrance as a patron walked in, their wet shoes squeaking loudly towards the green booth. A backpack was gently tossed into the seat across the table before its owner settled in beside it. Madeleine lowered her hood as Delriego shook off the remnants of rain. When their eyes met, she froze.
“I should’ve known it was you,” she muttered.
“Hi, Liv.”
“No,” Olivia said firmly, crossing her arms with a scowl. “Don’t ‘Hi Liv’ me. Whatever this is, the answer is no.”
“I wouldn’t be here if there was another option.” Madeleine folded her hands on the table. “Mom and I need your help.”
“Is that supposed to convince me? That hearts and flowers crap didn’t work out so well for Lucas,” she said bitterly.
Madeleine swallowed hard and looked down at her lap. “I’m so sorry, Olivia. Uncle Lucas, he…he didn’t deserve that.”
Olivia’s glare softened as a brief silence fell between them. Madeleine felt the familiar sting of tears in her eyes.
“For what it’s worth, I really miss him.”
“Yeah, well I…I really miss him, too.” Olivia shook her head and reached for her backpack before sliding out of the booth. “Take care of yourself, Madeleine.”
She steeled herself to leave and took a step forward, half-expecting Madeleine to reach out for her in stubborn protest. But Madeleine kept still as she spoke, the fear in her small voice giving Olivia pause.
“They have my dad.”
Olivia turned to face her, her expression unreadable.
“He’s in trouble, Liv,” she said, doing her best to keep her voice even. “And you’re the only person who can help us get him back.”
Olivia closed her eyes and sighed deeply. Madeleine sniffed and quickly wiped a stray tear from her cheek. She blinked in surprise as two menus were tossed onto the table.
“Liv, I…“
“Save it. You’re paying,” Olivia said as she slid into the booth. She pushed a menu over to Madeleine. “Food first, plan second.”
“…thank you,” she whispered.
“Don’t mention it,” Olivia replied. “We’ll find your robot.”
Madeleine smiled, hope blooming in her chest.
“I know we will.”

Feeling really sick yesterday and today 🤧
I took a test, it's not covid, prob just a cold but still suuuuuccckkksssss
Anyway I'm coping by imagining some Hitman sickfics with our assassin family. Mostly just 47 being crazy protective of Diana or Madeleine but then being super dismissive of his own health until he's passed out on the bathroom floor
Soup and cuddles seem like they would do the trick for all of them
Edit: Really the only reason I made this post was for people to send me their sick headcanons but the get well wishes are really nice!
