the school term had officially started, so anne-louise was back to working part-time at o’shea’s. which also meant she was already frickin’ exhausted, so soon into the school year. each year, it seemed she lost energy instead of maintaining or gaining it. she would have loved to spend the evening on the couch with her dog and roommate, but she needed the money—she could’ve asked her moms to lend her some, but anne-louise was trying to be more independent from them, not more dependent on them. they’d do it, though, if she asked. that was why she never asked. besides, thursday nights were usually pretty slow, so she’d didn’t have to work too hard. it meant less tips, too, but she’d accept that trade off if she didn’t have to move around too much. sitting on a stool behind the bar—she convinced her previous boss david that customers were respect him more if he let his staff sit down in view of them, and she didn’t care what her current boss had to say about it—she was playing hexa sort on her phone when she noticed movement over by the jukebox. “hey!” she called out, pointing an accusing finger at them. “you better not think about changing the music in here!” quickly, though, she faltered and dropped her hand to wave off her outburst. “...or, just wait until this one’s over, please. i like it.” want you in my room by carly rae jepsen was halfway over, anyway.

🌸｡*ﾟ+. So... Like this for me to slip into your IMs to plot a Halloween themed thread? These could be regular verse threads or... entire AU's !! Some things on my wishlist that you can comment below to specify what we can plot about are:

Witchy AU - Our muses are Witches/Wizards; Scenario A) Taking place in an era where witchcraft is persecuted, our muses are in hiding from the community at large, but one muse refuses to stop using their magic to help others | Scenario B) Modern setting in which Witchcraft is a normal practice, even if not everyone possesses the gift (maybe one muse is magical and the other isn't?)

Vampire AU - Our muses are longtime friends, but little does one know, the other is a Vampire. Could be in a more modern setting or in an older era; Maybe one is a Vampire hunter? Lots of room for interesting stuff to happen!

Killer AU - Our muses share something in common: They're both victims of a serial killer's abduction. They work together to escape!

Lights Out - Regular setting; Our muses are minding their own business when suddenly, the lights go out; Alternatively, there's a raging storm outside that and our muses huddle by candlelight. In both scenarios does something nefarious begin to brew just beyond their inner circle: Could be a creature or regular person posing as a threat!

Haunted - Regular setting; Our muses visit someplace outside of their norm: A mountain lodge, A hotel, Air bnb, etc, but something strange is going on. There seems to be... a haunting ?! (Whether it's true or not, is up to the plot~)

Cursed AU - One of our muses becomes cursed due to whatever reason (object, person, etc); The curse can be a multitude of things: Transformative (muse gets turned into a werewolf, or a regular cat, or the opposite sex, etc), Health related (muse is slowly dying and it's a race to break the curse), or other physical alteration (muse is rendered mute, muse is made blind, etc).

These are just some I've personally thought about, but if you have anything in mind, let me know !! I just want something for the season~ These will be short threads!

Anxious hands pick up the wailing cherub from the cradle, the angel shushing him. As one of the staff members that serves the high council and archangels, she is tasked to take on any request from her superiors. But to babysit a baby angel is not something she imagined ever doing. It’s not like they’re a common sight in Heaven, let alone with any instruction. And to her shock, the superiors appear to be equally as clueless.

“Please stop crying, little one. You’re giving me quite the headache.” The angels plea goes answered with another hiccup and wail, shimmering starry tears rolling down his apple mark cheeks. Even with the doors closed, the babies cries can be heard in the hall of the citadel.
