These sorts of, let's call them, chemical reactions were no danger to her but her wardrobe had not tasted of the same story that she had. In fact, Pravd was rather certain, fairly certain, certain enough to shelve the thought, that wardrobes did not taste of stories at all. 'Note to self,' she thought, 'Give a wardrobe a reason to live.' The purpose would of course be to revoke it, harass it, make it rue the day it had ever acquired such a thing (for SCIENCE, if you can believe it). There would be a whole process, a theorem, everything would be trim and proper. She would likely have to twist the universe's arm or find some arm of some kind to twist but she was becoming quite the interdimensional debutante. "I am the belle of the ball," she mused with a smile. "I am the queen bee although they do not know it yet." Pravd giggled with an almost innocent glee. They soon would and these colors she now wore would help impress it upon them. 'I wear any colors well,' she thought, 'but these put everyone on notice: bow before your new girlboss icon queen and stan or be slain.' Words were sparking in her mind. The reaction. It had revealed something to her. She'd seen something that intrigued her and could swear it had a kind of familiarity to her. I think we will call this my..." Brilliant mind though she was, master virologist, one who was a chrysalis harboring something fair and terrible, for a moment she halted. Self-doubt? Chastened, perhaps? Her smile for a moment began to flatten. What might be on her mind? It came back within instants, one more fragment from the 'incident' she would be investigating promptly. ______________________________________ Still waiting on some things to come together, although I actually have two more in the chamber to share perhaps, more of this type of thing, but I wanted to write this character a little more. You can consider this something of a prequel to the VN of sorts. I do not know if it will be obvious how this all connects but I don't consider myself someone who is writing to be obscure on purpose. Also we had a palette change for Pravd, a favorite of mine, and I wanted to make an excuse out of it to have her switch palettes. So I hope this is enjoyable and that Purple Prose with Purple Hearts, out by the end of the month for sure, will be. I am fortunate that my team includes someone I have been working on voice acting with and I am very very excited to get that shaped into something; they know who they are and I will be crediting when I talk more about it. ^^ Extremely good stuff is happening for what amounts to my crude amateurish first effort.

It's time to answer the most dreaded question of my inbox that i've been avoiding for [checks ask date] a long long time. I don't blame you for being confused, 2012 Taylor is a mess indeed.

Short answer: MIAB was likely written on April 23rd and CBBH def on April 12th, so that's enough for me.

Longer answer: I think that if MIAB and CB...BH are sister songs, MIAB is also Begin Again's cousin. Begin Again is about opening up again with somebody after being hurt so badly, and you know that the relationship was not right for you, but the wound is still fresh and you can't let go and you still think about them and drawing comparisons between the toxic guy and the sweet new guy. MIAB instead is completely free of the past and it's so... fresh and carefree and cheeky and young. It's about the freedom of crushing on someone again. CB...BH is sadder because the spectre of long distance is always there when you choose this kind of career. This is my #1 interpretation of the songs. Now onto the muses.

Harry: I'm just gonna say it: Harry was 18 when he met and then dated Taylor. He turned 18 in February 2012, met Taylor exactly 2 months later, he was 18 when Taylor turned 23, he was 18 when they broke up and Taylor was seen leaving the Virgin Islands on a boat with the famous blue dress on. For some reason, Haylor is still #iconic but the same hype is not reserved to Conor Kennedy: everyone cringes when they look back at Taylor's Kennedy era, RIGHTFULLY SO. Harry and Conor are barely 5 months apart, yet everybody is glad that Taylor didn't write any songs for Conor because he was so young but then they're fine with thinking that MIAB is about Harry because slay kween. I'm gonna be honest, if you think that early Haylor was appropriate while Taylor/Conor wasn't i'm gonna side-eye you, cause you can't justify early Haylor with "Harry was 18 while Conor was 17 when they met" cause it means that you think that Taylor dating them is a legal issue, not a morality issue. Taylor and Conor met when he was 20 days short of 18 and Harry was 18 and two months old. there's no difference for me, they're both inappropriate. that being said, we technically don't have any confirmation of Harry and Taylor dating in April, just rumors. Nothing points at Harry as being the MIAB muse.

Zac: I vote for Zac as the muse. He was jetting around the world for promo, they had great chemistry, he corresponds to the physical description, they were both single, he was in London the day Taylor and Max Martin and finished the song. Also this was said before she met Harry, which is basically a line from MIAB:

A Melbourne man has shared a heart-wrenching Cameo video from late RuPaul’s Drag Race UK star The Vivienne that he received for his 40th birthday this month.

If you don’t know, Cameo is a video-sharing website where fans can pay celebrities to create short, personalised video messages.

On January 5, The Vivienne, Drag Race UK’s first winner, passed away at age 32. Fans around the world were left devastated by her tragic death.

Melbourne man Danny Wilson took to X to share that his husband had asked The Vivienne to film the Cameo video for him late last year.

In the minute-long video, The Vivienne wishes Danny a happy birthday, and gushes about the fun they had on their 2024 Australian tour and their love of Australian men.

Viv also talks about how much they’re loving being in their 30s and are only eight years away from 40 themselves.

Danny explained on X that his husband ordered three Cameos from Danny’s three favourite queens: Kween Kong, Jujubee and The Vivienne. Danny’s husband played the messages for him at his 40th birthday party last week.

“What timing for this cameo to arrive,” Danny wrote on X.

“It feels only right to share this message and to remember how full of joy and love she was and how she showed so much care for her fans.”

Danny’s posts racked up over 560k views on X, with people thanking the Aussie for sharing the video.

Danny added that The Vivienne’s last video “broke my heart but I’ll cherish it.”
