Damn I really want a reading the books fanfic of this ( the only fic I saw of it only has 3 chapters ༎ຶ‿༎ຶ ), anyway imagine someone idk a god or goddess curse percy and Percy turn into a five years old for a week, how would they react. Would daddyseion like it being able to take care of a cute little Percy for a week. And she'd be so cute, but imagine a five years old going around sassing gods lol
THERE IS A GOOD ONE THAT I FOUND! its inspired by my fic and it got up to the minotaur fight
IT'S THIS ONE: https://www.wattpad.com/story/359513670-young-gods-pjo-ror
(or click here if it doesn't work)
i wanna make a reading the books/watching the movies too.... but maybe ill try it out after act 2 (cuz i wanna try and include the humans too, but i haven't written out any interactions between them and percy just yet)
but anyway! if percy got de-aged into a wittle five year old THERE WILL BE A MASSIVE CUSTODY BATTLE. poseidon's gonna have to fight everyone off 24/7 because THEY WANT TO ADOPT THAT BABY. hades wants to raise her, adamas wants to raise her, hell probably hera too, RHEA WANTS TO RAISE HER, SHIVA WANTS TO RAISE HER CUZ HE'S GETTING THAT GODDAMN PLAYDATE FOR GANESHA, LOKI WANTS TO RAISE HER
ITS GONNA BE ONE BIG MESS. they don't even care if she tries to sass them 😭😭 they'll just coo and pinch her cheeks. poor kid's gonna have sore and red cheeks by the end of the day 😭

a movie........
time for a rant that has been a looong time coming because
the FUCK??? NOOOOOOOOOOOO PLEASE NO NO NO PLEASE GOD IF YOU'RE OUT THERE NEVER LET THIS MOVIE SEE THE LIGHT OF DAY NEVER EVEN MENTION THAT SHOW EVER AGAIN IN MY PRESENCE it should fucking DIE and stay DEAD
the WORST fandom i've ever come across/been part of. everyone was so fucking braindead. god the bullying here was So Bad. vld fandom was the epitome of 'you can't enjoy what you like'. and the bullies were like, some of the most popular blogs here. the content creators (among others ofc) here were NASTY. the people making decent art were so fucking rude to almost anyone that didn't bow down to them and agree with their views on the show, sitting on their high horse like they were fucking gods or something when they were like, 17 or something. mind u voltron was a show about ugly transformers lions and a bunch of kids in space meant for 7 YEAR OLDS. like stfu it's not deep, it's not important. i get that this is the internet i really do but apparently everyone was a pedo and homophobic and racist and needed to be cancelled because they weren't pure angels. i hope the people who liked the show, both teens and adults alike, have grown up and learnt what those words actually mean and why you shouldn't just casually throw them around. i hated you all. u had to be so careful about what you said on here, it was like north korea or something. i remember how kids got bullied into deleting their harmless fanfics, the fucking voice actors got bullied on a daily basis, it was BAD. i remember i got hate for having shiro as my icon and the background was the bi flag colours. I AM BI. also, so what if i had headcanoned shiro as bi, you couldn't have stopped me or anyone else from thinking that, and also IT WOULD NOT HAVE MATTERED, HE'S FICTIONAL, HE'S JUST LINES AND PIXELS. i know this is going to shatter some of your worlds (or at least would have back then), but a random ass nobody on tumblr headcanoning a character as bi when said character is "actually" straight/gay/whatever is NOT going to affect irl queer people in any way, it does NOT have real life consequences. who gives a fuck. since when has the fandom given a shit about canon anyway? fuck you.
okay, i've been bitching about the fandom enough (no i haven't, there's no way you can ever bitch about the vld fandom enough). what about the actual show? well. once again it's meant for 7 year olds. who cares if it was good or not. i've seen seasons 1–6. i liked season 1, didn't really like anything after that since the show seemed to change so much. the first season kind of has a different vibe completely? idk how to explain it, it just kind of feels like the actual show and then the rest was just a long fanfic by someone who was in love with keith's character. but since i was watching the show with my sister who was 10 at the time, it was fine, otherwise i wouldn't have kept watching after seeing season 2 i don't think.
here are a few negative things about the show imo:
making keith the main character out of nowhere after s1 (where he definitely wasn't the main focus) was so dumb. god the showrunners loved keith sooo much, it was so stupid. keith was nooot a leader. whatever.
making keith the black paladin was also so fucking stupid my god. and yes, everyone here wanting LANCE to become the black paladin just because he was the fandom favourite (don't get me wrong, he was my fave too) was so fucking braindead too honestly. shiro or allura. no one else made any sense.
canon allurance SUUUCKED. like holy shit that was so bad and horribly written, even lotor and allura had a better love story and had waaay more chemistry (and their relationship ended badly, rightfully so). and NO klance was never ever ever going to be canon, you were so delusional. like lmaooo did we even watch the same show? i just really enjoyed their dynamic and that's why i shipped them together, whatever. but yeah, like i said the bullying here was disgusting and everyone was cancelled, great, klance seemed to be the only thing you were allowed to like so in that sense i was lucky.
everything they did with allura in the later seasons............ you know what? i'm not even going to start. because wtfffffffff, as a storyteller myself i ?????? what in the world were they thinking. but yeah whatever it does not matter.
the point of this post is that EW EW EWWWW FUCK THAT SHOW AND FUCK YOU, if you were in the voltron fandom in 2017/2018 i personally hate you
#voltron#vld#voltron legendary defender#klance#allurance#🤢#if you disagree with anything i said. you're wrong. dni.#i was happy with my klance fic back then tho. i deleted it but hm i should probably post it again just for shits and giggles#it was a childhood friends to lovers no voltron au where keith was pining HARD lol#im usually not this negative but the whole… vld experience i had here on tumblr was kinda traumatizing#it took me a few years to stop being so careful and nervous and scared online

Chapter 1: The girl and the werewolves
||The Prophecy Series||
She knew for 15 years that this day would come. She knew her destiny had already been written. That her death had been foretold.
She knew she would have to stop him. She knew she would have to kill him. And she thought she was prepared for all of it. But the day she met him she realized how wrong she was…
Set in Season 10 Pairing: MoC!Dean x Female!OC
Warnings: the usual SPN, language, violence, blood, injuries
Episode mapping: The end of episode 4 of season 10 "Paper Moon"
Note: The events of this story are following season 10 of Supernatural and are taking place between October 2014 and July 2015. I tried to make sure that all the references to weapons, tech, etc. are accurate with the time period.
AN: This is my first time writing a fanfic but the story has been in my head for too long and it just needed to get out. I hope you like it.
AN: English is not my first language, I apologize for any mistakes.
It's official… I hate the States. I have been driving for over half an hour and there is nothing around. NOTHING! Here you can just disappear and no one will ever know. Long distances, distant people, crappy coffee… I really miss the coffee… Well, at least, the food was decent most of the time… I'm impatient to go back home, so I'm overdramatic. Moreover, I haven't really spoken to anyone for more than two weeks… that alone drove me crazy and irritated. Thank God this mission is over now! Take a deep breath and make a plan. That always calms my nerves. First, I have about three or four more hours of driving until I get to the private airstrip where the plane is waiting for me… that's insane… how is everything so far apart here… Deep breaths… Then, about a ten hour flight to Prague. I'll probably sleep the entire time… Or I can write my report… First I’ll write my report, then I’ll sleep. After landing, I'll have my debriefing… and real coffee. Then… go to my apartment… pack a bag… and go to the airport… I have been waiting for this vacation for so long. To see my family…
I'm entering a small town and I see the local diner on my side of the road. Going through my plan in my head has improved my mood significantly. I always function better when I have a detailed plan. But I still need coffee. So with a dream of a latte or cappuccino in my mind, I park the Jeep and walk into the diner to get whatever excuse of a coffee they have. Five minutes later, with a to-go cup in my hand, I'm climbing back in the monstrous car. I really love this car. It's always funny to see the looks I'm receiving. I'm not the shortest woman in the world, but I'm no more than 1.70m (it's about 5 '7) and this Jeep is enormous. But I like driving it. And, I like all the modifications I've done on it over the years. While driving out of the town and the buildings are more and more apart from each other, a cabin catches my attention. Well, not the cabin itself, but the two figures going inside. Just before they went inside, their faces shifted. What day is it? It's not a full moon, right? I count the days in my head. It is a full moon. Great! Werewolves. I hesitate only for a second, before I stop my car down the road so they will not see me coming. Driving a car like this has some disadvantages after all. I push several buttons on the car's dashboard screen, to check my armory and a weapon is produced for me to use. When the central console on my right opens, I reach out to take the gun. I scowl at the Beretta 92 that is inside.
Created with Microsoft Designer
"Of course!" I mutter under my breath. "I can't even use my own guns here!" I remind myself that I'm not supposed to raise any suspicions or to give any clues about who I am and who I'm working for. It's hard when you are a person of details and when you like things in a certain way. Unfortunately, my custom guns are locked in the car safe, until I'm boarding the plane to Europe. I take the standard US law enforcement gun and two spare magazines with silver bullets and I'm on my way to the cabin. "Fuck… I haven't even finished that coffee!" Engaging in those kinds of situations is not really in the scope of my operation here. Actually, it is way out of it. But I can't just walk away, keep driving and pretend I haven't seen anything. Not when there are innocent people in danger here… probably… 'Probably' is the key word… So I decide, I'll just look at what is going on in there and if, indeed, there are lives being threatened, only then I'll get involved.
Of course there are lives in stake. When I look inside the dimly lit building, I see the silhouettes of two men being tied to the pillars. Three werewolves are inside with them, the two men I saw earlier, and a younger blond woman… girl actually... It looks like she is in charge or has some authority over the others. I take in the layout of the place and make a map in my mind, all the people, the exits, the pillars, the piles of junk, the old furniture... Every little crack, every window and every beam… And I make a plan… And a backup plan… And a backup plan. I have it all laid out in my head, a perfect tactical assault mission. In reality, this takes only a couple of seconds. My mind works in a strange way, but that's one of the things that makes me good at my job and has helped me climb the ranks quickly. I go in from the back door and immediately shoot down the two men. The girl with the long blond hair is standing in front of one of the hostages tied to the columns and puts her claws to his chest when she sees me.
Created with Microsoft Designer
"Put down the gun, or I will gut him!" - she says to me. Another blond girl barges in and stops abruptly when she realizes the situation. "Tash, what are you doing?" she exclaims, looking at the girl threatening one of the victims. "Kate! Come here and help me!" - the girl says. Now, when I have a better look at her she looks really young, maybe just finished high school. I take advantage of everyone being distracted, and shoot. The girl hits the ground. I turn around, aiming my weapon at the second girl. "No, no, no!" - the two men yell in unison. I lower my gun and the girl runs to the body of her dead sister. At least they look like sisters.
I holster my gun and take the knife from my boot turning around to cut off the ropes of the two men. No, no, no, no… I definitely fucked up… What the hell… I NEVER fuck up! I was not supposed to make any contact with them. I was here to observe and report. Fuck, fuck, fuck… Shit! Ok… I'll just cut them down and then I'm on my way to the airstrip. I start cutting the rope tying up Dean's hands above his head. I have to stand on my tiptoes and I barely can reach the rope. "Hey, shortstack, do you need a stepping stool or something?" Sam teases and I snort at his comment. "Short or not, I'm not the one tied up by a highschool girl…" Fuck! Those boys are really tall up close!
I'm almost done when Sam yells "Watch out!!!" I press the knife into Dean's hand, so he can finish cutting the rope himself and pull out my gun while turning around. Sharp pain stings my abdomen before I'm able to pull the trigger. The gunshot rings in the air of the cabin followed by a heavy thump. I clench my stomach. That's bad. That's really, really bad. How did this all happen? Where did he come from? How did I miss him? Maybe he came after the second woman… girl… My mind is racing, trying to analyze every little detail and every possibility. But it doesn't matter right now. This must be the unluckiest day of my life! First, I stumbled on my targets, and now this! I know this will not kill me. This is not the way I'm supposed to go and now is definitely not the time. But it hurts like hell, nonetheless and for a moment, panic sneaks in my mind. I haven't been in such deep shit in a long long time. I have been in far more dangerous situations, but I hadn't screwed up like this in years. Deep breaths… make a plan… "Hey! Are you ok?" Dean asks me when he is done untying his brother. "Yeah!" I say through my clenched teeth and without even turning to them I start walking to the front door. I'll just have to go to my car, stitch this up, and then… My head starts spinning. Shit, I'm losing too much blood. I'm not going to make it to the car…
The woman had barged in, shot all of the rogue werewolves in a matter of seconds and without saying a word was now walking to the front door. "Wait a minute! Where do you think you're going?" I yell and run after her. Just when I'm reaching to grab her arm to stop her, she collapses and I manage to catch her at the last moment. "What the hell!" I mumble but then I see the gash in her stomach. It's deep and she is losing blood too fast. "Sam! Find the first aid kit and get the car! NOW!"

Hey Lovely! For the ask game, I'm requesting #4, #7, and #24.
Thanks!! ❤️
Well hello there, friend! 🥰
Oh my, good questions...
Hahaa oh lord. I mean, how much time do you have? 🤣 I have entire files worth of ideas from different fandoms that I've even gone so far as to outline, but have never gotten around to writing.
I think the first ones that come to my head are two series ideas in the Smallville fandom:
Hanging By a Moment - Clark Kent x OC
Summary: The path of Clark Kent’s life changed drastically after he turned sixteen. It was choice, it was happenstance, it was destiny—all in one. He didn’t know it yet, but it was always going to be her.
(Yes, title is based on the song by Lifehouse. 😂)
Keep Holding On - Jason Teague x OC
Summary: Try as Jason might, he just couldn’t compare to Clark Kent. Not in Lana’s eyes at least. Elena is the casualty of war, caught in between.
Both sound very melodramatic now that I read the summaries next to one another. 😂 The main reason why I haven't written these, I guess, is because I feel like the Smallville fandom has mostly died out. Tumblr especially doesn't really support OCs as much as reader inserts, and these stories both needed to be OCs to give me the freedom to create as much backstory and character as I wanted to.
Oh a DEEP CUT you say? 🤣 Oh God, I've been writing since I was about 10 or 11 years old (and let me tell you, it was heinous).
I think my very first fanfic was for an anime called Rurouni Kenshin. It was an AU set in present time. It was that cliché thing where the heroine is sitting at a bar and is getting hit on, but she doesn't give the guy the time of day until her boyfriend (the main male lead of the show) shows up.
That character was known for being a spitfire, so she was good at putting people in their place lol. Her boyfriend is the more mild-mannered of the two, but still very protective, so I guess that's where the idea came from in my kid brain. I've long ago deleted that story off FF.net because it was so damn bad.
My first SPN fanfic, however, can be found here on Ao3. It's also pretty rough because I wrote it back in high school when I was first watching the show, first on FF.net, then transferred it over later to Ao3.
Another interesting question... 🤔
It can take me a bit to get myself into that creative headspace, but when I'm working on a one-shot, I tend to power through the draft until I finish it in a day, maybe two if it's long (5,000+ words let's say).
If we're talking about a series, I try to knock out at least a chapter at a time in one writing session, which could take me a couple hours or several more, depending on length and how detailed my outline is, if I need to do additional research, etc.
If I really have a good flow going, sometimes I can knock out 2-3 chapters in a day. I'll have a solid 1-3 hour writing session towards the beginning of the day, take a break for a few hours, run some errands, go on a walk, have a meal, and come back to it later. I tend to do the bulk of my writing in the afternoon and throughout the night.
Thanks again for asking these questions, lovely!! 😘💜 Always happy to answer.

I was tagged by @dangerously-human like a month ago I'm so sorry for a fanfic writer tag game, and I finally remembered that I never actually did it!! I'm so bad at these things
1. How did you get into writing fanfiction? I was like 13 I think and I had become a rabid fan of the 2012 TMNT series, and I filled a brightly colored notebook with self-insert TMNT fanfic. 😂 What's funny is that at this time, I didn't even know that the concept of fanfiction existed, and that it was something other people wrote as well. Because I had very little online presence at the time (thank God), so I had no exposure to fanfiction in general. I just thought, "Okay I know this is totally crazy but what I put myself in this story and I was a teenage mutant ninja black panther and Leo was in love with me." I was truly a revolutionary. I didn't discover the massive presence of fanfiction online until about three years later I think, and that was when I started reading Gravity Falls and Miraculous Ladybug fanfics on fanfiction dot net.
2. How many fandoms have you written in? Good question. I haven't published everything for every fandom that I've written in, so some of these just exist in a locked vault inside my brain or in a long abandoned OpenOffice document. Or in a brightly colored houndstooth-patterned notebook. TMNT, Star Wars, Gravity Falls, How To Train Your Dragon, Carmen Sandiego, Stranger Things, Detroit: Become Human, Lockwood & Co., Legends of Avantris, Red Dead Redemption. I feel like there's probably more than that but I can't remember. The ones in green are the ones that I have actually published fic for, though a lot of the older ones have been deleted.
3. How many years have you been writing fanfiction? This is difficult because I haven't been writing fanfiction consistently for very many years at all, but I started writing fanfic like 10 years ago. Somewhat consistently? Like two years. 😂
4. Do you read or write more fanfiction? Very much depends on where I'm at in life and what media I'm currently fixated on, but for a while I've been writing way more than I've been reading. I go through phases of both.
5. What is one way you've improved as a writer? I think my pacing is a lot better than it used to be. I think I've gotten better at rereading what I've written and recognizing where the pacing is off. I often don't have an easy time of fixing it yet, because it's such an odd and abstract concept to nail down, but you can see it when it's wrong. Something I've tried to be very intentional about of late.
6. What's the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project? The legal repercussions of assaulting a police officer in Michigan. That was for the Detroit: Become Human fic. 😂
7. What's your favorite type of comment to receive on your work? I LOVE when people pick up on my foreshadowing and start theorizing on various story elements that I haven't revealed yet. That basically only happens with And I Would Stay A While Longer because it's the only one of my fics with a significant amount of intrigue, but it makes me so happy seeing those comments. I love knowing that I've foreshadowed something effectively.
8. What's the most fringe trope/topic you write about? Hmmmmmm . . . is it fringe to write fanfic for a dnd campaign? That's probably the closest thing I have to fringe honestly. And as for fringe tropes, I'm not really sure that my fanfics feature many. My original work, on the other hand . . .
9. What is the hardest type of story for you to write? Stories with large casts, where I have to keep track of a lot of characters. That's exhausting. I don't like it. 😂 I like my stories very intimate. My writing is very character-focused rather than plot-focused, and I like to reserve that focus to as few characters as possible. One of my original works only features two characters throughout the entire story and that's it.
10. What is the easiest type? Intimate, fluffy oneshots. Emotional fulfillment fics. Unsurprisingly.
11. Where do you do your writing? What platform? Back in the day I started out with OpenOffice, then I jumped to Google Docs, then I jumped to Microsoft Word, and that's where I'm at right now. I own Scrivener and I very much want to use it but it intimidates me and I am so bad at learning new software/word processors. 😭
12. What is something that you've been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day? The rest of AIWS 🤣 No but seriously, funny story, I had plans for YEARS to write my own version of Haymitch's Games from The Hunger Games because Haymitch is my favorite character and I was desperate for more of his story, so I compiled a whole document of everything we learned about the 50th Quarter Quell and Haymitch and his family/friends, and that document sat untouched for so long because I was too intimidated to try to write the story . . . and then of course the news came out that Suzanne Collins herself is writing it. And I couldn't be happier. 😂
13. What made you choose your username? My AO3 username is Fox_Autumn. I nicknamed myself after Fox Mulder, and I needed another word to stick on the end of that to make it a valid username. I love autumn, and I thought it sounded pretty so there ya have it.
These were super duper fun!! Thank you so much for the tag!! :DDD 💙💙💙
Tagging with absolutely no pressure: @womaninwinter @nomolosk @argentumcor @krash-8 @celestial-citrus
#LOOK AT THAT I ACTUALLY MANAGED TO TAG THE CORRECT NUMBER OF PEOPLE FOR ONCE#though on that note if i have tagged you and you are not a fanfic writer i apologize#i am very good at misremembering which of my mutuals are writers and which are not#writing

For the writer's meme: 3. What is that one scene that you’ve always wanted to write but can’t be arsed to write all of the set-up and context it would need? (consider this permission to write it and/or share it anyway) 7. What do you think are the characteristics of your personal writing style? Would others agree? 23. What is the story idea you've had in your head longest?
1. So this isn't really a problem I tend to have BECAUSE my writing style is "think of a cool scene, barf it onto the page, then panic because I have nothing to stick around it to make an actual story". So while I may have complete AUs that just live in my head, *scenes* don't tend to. But the written-out scene that is my curse and despair is Xiao Bai and the crows. It's set in the world of Cabbages and Kings, and is like the gentle whimsical worldbuilding of CaK dialed up to 11 and I love it SO MUCH and I have no story to attach it to. If anyone has plot ideas for a CaK side-story with Xiao Bai, Liu Sang, and Kan Jian where crows give Xiao Bai some news, please, please hit me up. *sobs*
7. Hmmmm. Grounded sensory descriptions of the environment, sometimes poetical, sometimes metaphorical. A love for wordplay, especially in humor. Someone take my semicolons away. Has clearly done the bare minimum of research at all times unless I am hitting you over the head with a previous hyperfixation. Never write a transition where a scene break will do. I... think people would agree? And probably point out things I'm not even aware of, oh god.
23. Limiting this to fanfic, the stories I've had in my head the longest... well, the unpublished stories I've had the longest are two chapters of Angle of Elevation that are just waiting for me to write the filler chapters to get to them. I know exactly what happens in the last remaining fic of the BeefCake series, too, but I haven't written it down yet. I think the oldest one that isn't related to something already published is my aromantic Liu Sang fic, which has been proceeding at a glacial pace for over two years now.
Thank you for the asks!

Answer the Questions and Tag 5 Fanfic Authors
thanks for the tag @andorerso 💕
1. How did you get into writing fanfiction?
it started in elementary school with a fixation on the Red Wall series lol--i would just write random little in-universe stories for myself. I didn't start actively sharing/posting in fandom until the pandemic 😅
2. How many fandoms have you written in?
uhhhh like 3 actually posted/shared. probably more than I can count random scribbles elsewhere
3. How many years have you been writing fanfiction?
probably almost 15 years at this point?
4. Do you read or write more fanfiction?
i go through phases, but mostly I write more than read--because I get BIG TIME imposter's syndrome when reading other authors' works. (it's a problem, i know gah)
5. What is one way you’ve improved as a writer?
Uhhh. I mean, with my brain fog and everything I actually feel like I have gotten worse if I'm being honest, but I think I've gotten better at thinking through character motivation--at least, I think on it a lot when I'm writing
6. What’s the weirdest topic you researched for a writing project?
for the roadtrip AU I constantly have a map of scotland pulled up lol. there's more math involved in this than there ought to be 🥲
7. What’s your favorite type of comment to receive on your work?
ANY. No seriously, comments make the world go round.
8. What’s the most fringe trope/topic you write about?
Mmmm I can't think of any at the moment
9. What is the hardest type of story for you to write?
SMUT. Still haven't finished my smut prompt for rcsmutmonth. between imposter's syndrome and just general brain struggle it's on the backburner for now--ah well
10. What is the easiest type?
Mmm angst. One-shots. (I love a simple getting together fic)
11. Where do you do your writing? What platform? When?
God, don't hate me but Google docs. I do want to try another platform, but I've been lazy about just diving in. (Also, money).
12. What is something you’ve been too nervous/intimidated to write, but would love to write one day?
I'm just focused on finishing part 2 for Umbra at this point. I'm in my head. One day at a time.
(Non-fanfic related? My biggest goal in life is still to write my original story that's been rotting in my head for over a decade).
13. What made you choose your username?
I started back on tumblr during the pandemic during quarantine--I still dream about writing a novel idk it seemed easy to go back to when I decided to become of a more multi-fandom blog
no pressure tags for: @fireflaked @dilf-din @frostbitepandaaaaa @astromechs @chipthekeeper
#sorry if this is the second tag youre getting from me today im catching up and you all are talented writers and wonderful people soooo#tag game#about b#writer things

Fanfic 20 questions! This seems really fun, thanks for tagging me @followerofmercy
1. How many fics do you have on AO3?
Twenty-six! Which I think is a bunch when not compared to insane people who right, say, a hundred twenty fics. Cough Mercy.
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
179,826, though I will add since I got my start in fic writing quests on Sufficient Velocity, there's another 113.2K that's not on AO3.
3. What fandoms do you write for?
My tastes are as fickle as the wind. I am a wandering ronin writing whatever I feel like. I theoretically write RWBY but also haven't updated a RWBY fic since January. I thought I was done with Madoka fics but then I heard news about the movie and had no choice but to write Heartless. I've written 3 A Practical Guide To Evil fics over 5 years. Who fuckin knows with me?
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Breaking and Entering Your Heart (Madoka Magica) is, somehow, my most kudo'd fic of all time. I have no idea why. I don't think it's particularly good (not helped by the fact that I was like 16 when I wrote it). It's not even my favourite Madoka fic I wrote as a teenager!
Doka Don't You Know (Madoka Magica) is my favourite Madoka fic I wrote as a teenager. It's still kind of embarrassing for me to read back, but I do think I did good with it. The real embarrassing part is that it was inspired by me getting emotional listening to the Ninja Sex Party song of a similar name.
Drabble Roulette (Steven Universe) is sort of cheating, as it was a drabble collection I did with several friends, but nevertheless it's one of the most kudo'd fics I've worked on. We all did a short fic every week based on the same one-word prompt, and God we kicked ass.
I can almost hear the Hounds (RWBY) is definitely the one I'm most proud of. What if Ruby got turned into a Hound before V1? Well everyone would be sad, for one. It also holds the distinction of being the first time anyone's ever done a "Cast of [show] reacts!" thing to a fic I've read. Talk about an ego boost!
And my fifth-most kudo'd fic is... Actions, Consequences, and the Tragic Lack Thereof (Worm)? The edgy oneshot I did where a very well-adjusted Taylor uses Coil's power to blow off steam? Huh. Not either of my RWBY oneshots? Well I suppose I can't complain.
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Not really. I try, but as I've said before responding to comments is my dump stat. I really do love everyone's comments, I'm sooo insanely bad at responding sdgsd
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
It depends on what qualifies as an angsty ending; most of my angsty fics have happy endings, with Heartless being the only one I've written to really contradict that. Blood, Blood, Gallons of the Stuff and Sometimes the only way out is as a carcass have the worst endings insofar as horrible fates, but I wouldn't really call them angst.
7. What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Probably Trim and nothing else? It depends on how you define it, but I'd say that one.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really, thankfully. I straight up can't remember anything of the sort lmao
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Boy, do I! Of the smut I've published, I'd say it's pretty varied? Some het, some gays, some ships and an OC or two... I've got the variety, baby.
10. Do you write crossovers? If so, what's the craziest one you've ever written?
Not really? I find they're usually more daydream material than hunker-down-and-write material, though sometimes I have no choice. I have a chapter or two of the most self-indulgent APGTE/RWBY crossover that I doubt I'd ever put out there on account of it having a target audience of exactly one. Craziest would probably be the Madoka Magica/Magical Girl Noir Quest crossover I wrote as a teenager. It's harder to get more self-indulgent than fanfiction of a fanfiction crossing it over with the source material sdgds
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
I sort of vaguely remember this happening? I remember someone posting a really poorly written edgy SU fic that had the exact same premise as my slightly better written edgy SU fic and only updated after mine did.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Not that I know of, though if anyone wants to please feel free.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not really? The Drabble roulette is the closest I've come, and that was a bunch of individual shorties. Besides, I can't imagine I'd have a great time trying to fit my writing process with someone else (and I definitely don't think they'd have a good time trying to adjust to me lmao)
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
God that's tough. I'm not sure I can give a definitive answer here. I might have to say Madohomu or Midlink just because of how deeply they've altered my brain chemistry
15. What's a wip you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Brother that is most of what I've written. I really want to get Tomorrow I'll be perfect and You waxen wing, you foolish thing done at some point, though I'm not sure I'm will. The Most Insane Girls On Remnant is a work so in progress that only one person knows it even exists, and if I could magic myself into fully writing one it would probably be that one.
16. What are your writing strengths?
If I could write an entire book of nothing but snarky narrators I would be a new york times bestseller by now. They are my bread and butter. Comedy in general, I guess, but that specifically.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Action scenes. Action scenes action scenes action scenes. It's not so much that I think I'm bad at them, more that they're just so hard for me. I could write a thousand words of most anything else before I write five hundred words of an action scene.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I don't super mind it when reading, but I can't imagine writing it. Maybe a word or two, but still.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I wrote down Madoka Magica at first, but now I'm realizing it was actually Warrior Cats, all the way back when I was a wee little child. I'm not sure if I deleted them or just changed ff.net accounts at some point, but I don't know where they are and I'm happy that way.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I mean it's gotta be I can almost hear the Hounds. There's a lot of other things like (Aw Drat, Tomorrow I'll be Perfect, etc) but this one hold a special place in my heart. There's a reason I have chapter on pinned in my blog.
Damn that took me like three days to write. I shall pass the curse onto @golddragon387, of course, and perhaps @borkthemork to torment him

FANFIC TAGGING GAME
I got (honorable) tagged by the wonderful @theartofdreaming1- thanks!
1. How many works do you have on AO3? - 321
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
1,322,068 words (at the moment)
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Still writing for The Flash, but every once in a while a new show/movie grabs my fancy and I write a few fics for that.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
An unimpressive bunch but here goes: Muse (456), Replacement Scrunchie (393), Fallen Star (357), Inconvenient Inspiration (343), and Drabbles (277). Muse is a handful of one-shots based solely off spoilers before I saw the eps they were for. Replacement Scrunchie is my sole fic for the TATBILB fandom about Peter & LJ's first date (which was way less impressive than what the sequel movie gave us, WOW). Fallen Star is my most popular westallen fic to date, so that one's actually not too surprising. But both Inconvenient Inspiration and Drabbles are requested (the latter) and spontaneous (the former) brainstorming ficlets and snippets for The Flash/WA. Bo-ring.
5. Do you respond to comments?
Eventually.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oh, gosh, I have so many unfinished fics that it's hard to remember the complete ones that I finished that didn't end so happy, of which there aren't many. Maybe...Breaking Point though.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
All the others have happy endings. Go read them. Lol.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
When I wrote for another fandom I did, but not really in The Flash fandom, which is nice.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yep. And uh...descriptive, I guess? I'm def not the best out there, but I do my best and for the most part smut-lovers seem to enjoy.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I've attempted a couple crossovers, but I haven't completed any or gotten far with them, usually because there wasn't an audience for it.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yeah, I discovered a whole bunch on another website years ago.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Nope.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
In the process of it!
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Stuck on Westallen atm, but I used to write Chair, and I was highly obsessed with them as well.
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Oh god, I have SO MANY WIPs. One that I really want to finish but fear I won't though has got to be He's MY Barry Allen. I'm just stuck on what the next chapter will look like, and as of yet no one has come forward with a solution. Lol. The Problem is Tony Woodward is another one like that.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I'd like to think I can hook people into my fics fairly well and drop enough cliffies to keep them coming back for more. But ofc the smut helps too. Most of my fics include at least some smut, even a single scene.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Sometimes I have trouble making a chapter (or a scene for that matter) all that long. I've seen people write like 10k+ for a chap, and unless I'm crazy inspired, roughly 1-3k is what you're getting.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I actually dabbled in this a little bit for a westallen fic where Iris was learning Italian, I think? I did some research and managed to sift in enough for that one-shot, but I can't imagine I'd do it repeatedly or for a multi-chap.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
I believe it was the STAR WARS prequels, but it might've been The Day After Tomorrow.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
It's unfinished, but there's so much untapped potential in my Flashpoint fic. Lots of world-building that's present as it rides the line between canon divergent and AU. Hopefully one day I'll get back to it.
...
As much as I'd love to tag a bunch of people, I can't recall anyone who still writes fic that I follow on here, so I'll just shout out my bestie @simplylove101 who is prob done with writing but may want to answer these questions either way!

Fic tag game
got tagged by @fangeek-girl ❤️❤️
How many works do you have on Ao3?
I have 7 works but 3 of them are fanfic lol
2. What's your Ao3 word count?
1896 words total. Your girl is definitely one for brevity LOL
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Wednesday, that one drabble I made for The Man Who Killed Don Quixote, and I've been writing for Star Wars (though I haven't posted anything yet) and Mrs maisel (i wrote a whole short fic for that almost a year ago but I forgot about it completely until I found it in my notes apps, I should get around to posting it)
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
I don't have 5 fics total but here's my current count in order:
1-Lies
2-The world's a little blurry
3-Pretend
5. Do you respond to comments?
Yes always! the fact that people are READING my stuff and taking time to comment has me 🥺🥺🥺
My writing ao3 isnt linked to my main email adress though so sometimes it takes me a while to respond because I wont see it until I periodically check my fic stats
6. What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
.....Probably The world's a little blurry let's be real (I'm going to fix it it in the next one in the series, I promise!!!)
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
akdadhjgsjgd hard to say all my shit is angsty, I guess Pretend?? kind of, it's less of a downer than the other ones. The final part of Come a little closer will have a happy ending though I promise! (already finished writing the end, I just need to write the beginning lol)
8. Do you get hate on fics?
No ❤️ I don't think any of my stuff has gotten enough attention for that lol
9. Do you write smut? What kind?
NO my ace ass has no experience with that so I wouldn't know how 🧍♀️🧍♀️🧍♀️(I might need to in some future project, fortunately a lot of my friends are perverts (affectionate) so I could probably ask for some guidance if it comes to that LOL)
10. Do you write cross-overs?
No, I'm not a big fans of crossovers in general so certainly have never felt compelled to write one.
11. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No
12. Have you ever cowritten a fic before?
No
13. What WIP you would like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
So many ugh I cant even choose, it's more rare for me to actually finish something than the opposite, that's why I'll never post anything unless the whole thing is finished (only exception is my current series, but that's because I felt like each fic making up the series were self-contained enough that they didn't need to follow up immediatly to work? if that makes sense - plus the first one was a one shot and only thought of how to follow it up after posting it)
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
ANIDALA MY BELOVED
15. What are your writing strengths?
I think I'm really good at imagery and emotion (being a poetry writer goes brrrrr)
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
DESCRIPTIONS oh god I'm so bad at it. My fic are vibes only lmao, what are they wearing? where are they? what movements are they doing? NOT IMPORTANT how about I offer you 12 metaphors on how this character is feeling instead. (though I'm forcing myself to work on it haha)
I also struggle with any longer story arc... there's a reason all my stuff is so short lol
17. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
If it's in french it would be pretty fun since it's my ✨first language✨ hehe. For other languages I'd see if one of my friends speak it but otherwise idk if I'd include it bc I don't want to butcher another language, I've seen too many english authors put french through the ringer it's painful 😭
18. First fandom you wrote for?
I guess Julie and the Phantoms? I never posted it but I had a pretty advanced fic for that. unless you count the 13 reasons why fic I posted on wattpas when i was early teen but we dont talk about that
19. Favourite fic you've ever written?
right now it has to be The world's a little blurry, I just love how it came out hehe
20. What fic would you want to rewrite one day?
none right now.
Anyway tagging @nonamemanga @beri-allen @unlifeira @realmermaid333 @suchaladyy @witchysith @king-crimson-works @theycallme-thejackal and anyone else who might want to do it!

20 Questions For Fic Writers
Thank you for the tag @ofdemonsandangels! Finally got me to babble about writing, eh 😂
As always, I won't be tagging anyone but if you see this on your dash and feel like doing it, feel personally tagged by me!
⭐ How many works do you have on AO3?
Currently twelve. All finished, but there's one in particular that's part of a collection of stand-alone one-shots that I'd like to add more into sometime, hmm.
⭐ What's your total AO3 wordcount?
102,279 words.
⭐ What fandoms do you write for?
At the moment, it's mostly Bungo Stray Dogs (it only took me 7 years to realize I could write fanfic for this one), but I also have some Genshin Impact works and one D.Gray-Man work posted. There's a long, looong doc (38 pages, 16,700 words) in my WIPs for DGM.
⭐ What are your top five fics by kudos?
The Meaning of Sharing Happiness ➡️ To Hold Dear and To Own ➡️ God's play ➡️ Just a Short Break ➡️ A Moment to Cherish
⭐ Do you respond to comments?
I might take a while to get to it, but I always read all the comments I get and am always extremely grateful that people took their time to write something; so I usually worry about giving each reply the proper attention and if my gratitude is translating well into my words whenever I get to reply.
⭐ What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Hmm, I haven't one of these. I only wrote mild angst once and even that got resolved within the specific work. I don't see myself writing anything like this but it might depend on your definitions of what's an "angst ending"?
⭐ What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Definitely New Pages in Our Very Own Novel - my three-chapter wedding and honeymoon fanfic written for dazatsu week this year. I was pressed by time constraints to make it in time, but I poured a lot of love and care into this one, merely because they deserve to be happy and at peace; so many of the moments in this fic are light or meaningful in some way, but still lovely, all the way to the ending.
⭐ Do you get hate on your fics?
Not that I know, thankfully!
⭐ Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
I do, have some posted and I'm still rather proud of them! Describing "what kind" is a little hard (no pun intended) because my ideas usually stem from the thought of "I want to see this specific thing happening so I'll make it". I went into kinkier territory once, but in general, I think what drives me to write smut is having the people involved getting down and dirty but in a passionate way, if that makes sense? I like to make their love for each other show in how they handle each other but I also like the couples to be unapologetically into it, show off their sensuality and personality while at it. A good mix of sexy and lovely.
⭐ Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
My brother in Christ, I already have trouble managing people from one universe in only one work. So, no 😅
⭐ Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Hopefully not?! I'd be very upset.
⭐ Have you ever had a fic translated?
If it's been translated by myself, does it count? I translated one of my fics to my native language (Brazilian Portuguese) via voice call with my little sister once, she's still studying English but she was adamant on reading something from me, so I translated that one for her. It was a very fun experience, actually!
⭐ Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Not yet and I don't think I ever will; I have such a demanding pacing for writing that I'd overworry about inconveniencing the other person.
⭐ What's your all-time favorite ship?
No matter if it's in regard to posted fics, or in my general opinion, my answer is the same: Dazatsu (Dazai Osamu x Nakajima Atsushi) means the world to me.
Story with this ship began years ago but like I mentioned in question 3, it took me a lot of time to realize I could write for them as well. Every single fic I write for them has a dedication to my spouse in the notes, but that's the most I'll say because trust me, this story is LONG haha
If we're talking about the amount of rent-free living inside my head, then it's a tie between them, ChuuAki (or ChuuSano, not sure which ship name people use mostly nowadays for Nakahara Chuuya x Yosano Akiko) and ZhongVen (Zhongli x Venti from GI). I definitely plan to write more for chuuaki at some point; they all live happily in a three story building inside my mind 😂
⭐ What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
There's a rather extensive GI WIP (for Lumine x Noelle) in my folder that I feel doubtful toward purely because I'm so uncertain about it; when I started writing that one, we were only at the start of the story of the game so things looked very different from now. I'll need to rework and scrap many things in that one...
⭐ What are your writing strengths?
One thing that I put a lot of attention and care into, and that has been praised time and time again, much to my happiness, is character portrayal. I've been told on various occasions that my characterization of the characters felt close to the original to the point people were able to easily picture them doing and saying the things described in my works, how I got their "voice" right and how enjoyable it was to read because of it. It never fails to put a smile on my face, and I've replied to comments more than once saying that these are the best kind of praises I could get from anyone.
⭐ What are your writing weaknesses?
Not sure how much of this is a weakness or simply a personality defect, but: obstination and self-imposed pressure. I won't be able to relax until I have finished a work I feel I must finish, because I'm so used to not having free time for my hobbies that I have this - usually extremely self-destructive - mentality that goes "I must do all of it now while I still have the chance since I don't know when I'll have time again"; which means I tend to get no breaks at all, will sacrifice sleep hours to work on it, and destroy my back all for the sake of a condition my head imposed on me.
Probably not the answer you were expecting, but it's what I struggle with the most; this ride or die mentality born from perfectionism and a little (?) pinch of anxiety.
⭐ Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in a fic?
If it's a language I can speak, then it's not a problem, though I haven't had the chance to do so (yet).
But here's a random language trivia for you: I tend to think a lot in Japanese for all my BSD fics to make their dialogues as accurate as possible even with the work being written in English - for example, there are certain puns/jokes that exist in English but either don't work or don't exist in the Japanese language, so I avoid adding them; things like these. It's small attention to detail no one but me would know about, but it's something I do because it matters a lot to me.
If it's a language I can't speak, or a cultural aspect I'm unsure of, I either ask a friend or delve into those "Ask A (insert nationality here)" subreddits. It's always a riveting learning experience!
⭐ First fandom you wrote for?
Officially published and first ever: that would be D.Gray-Man. Though Jesus Christ, I would not show my 15 yo's crazy DGM fic full of nonsense and OCs. There were even ships in there that I can't bear to listen the name of nowadays. How the times change 😂
⭐ Favorite fic you've written?
I'll cheat my way on this answer, because I can't pick just one.
SFW: New Pages in Our Very Own Novel & Healing Touch These two are undoubtely the ones I've gotten the most praise for as well as very, very long comments that had me giggling and kicking my feet like I was a teenager again; but what I like the most about them is, respectively: New Pages: I did a lot of research for New Pages. I actually used Google Maps to trace their routes during their stay in the Ginza Prefecture for the honeymoon, just so I would know if they'd need to take the train or if they could just walk to their destinations. One thing that I've always loved in BSD are the real-life places references, so I went for that: I referenced real-life places as well, and even the hotel I picked was also inspired by a real-life one, located in the same place. I paid a special amount of attention to landscapes and their descriptions and it was as fun as it was exhausting! haha The contents of the fic are still the most important, but the experience of writing and doing research for it, learning more and viewing so many pictures to describe things, was one of a kind. I'll never forget it. Healing Touch: This fic was born from a wish of mine to do a certain character study, and I'm still proud of how it came out. Dazai as a character is extremely complex and we all know it, but I wanted to, at the very least, scrape at the surface of his humanity hidden underneath all those layers - all the while I worked on Atsushi's perception of things and the way he dealt with his own sense of sadness and grief and used those to try and understand Dazai's. I can't really say much about it because it'll just sound like a lot of babbling out of context, but I feel like I did a good job on those bits (it's not the entire focus of the fic).
NSFW: Baring Stripes and Bandages I'm sorry, I'm just a furry. Jokes aside, this was the one time I went for an approach that explored some kinks that aren't too vanilla and I'm still quite proud of how it came out. We - my spouse and I, this fic was born from a headcanon of his - often joke saying it's my magnum opus, and then it's just a kinky fanfic 😂 But I'm still so proud!
#tag game#there's another tag game I wanted to do and I haven't forgotten about it Violet#it's always so nice of you to tag antisocial me in these#writing babbling

Chapter 7: The Fates
||The Prophecy Series||
She knew for 15 years that this day would come. She knew her destiny had already been written. That her death had been foretold.
She knew she would have to stop him. She knew she would have to kill him. And she thought she was prepared for all of it. But the day she met him she realized how wrong she was…
Set in Season 10
Pairing: MoC!Dean x Female!OC
Warnings: the usual SPN, language, violence
Episode mapping: During episode 9 of season 10 "The Things We Left Behind"
Note: The events of this story are following season 10 of Supernatural and are taking place between October 2014 and July 2015. I tried to make sure that all the references to weapons, tech, etc. are accurate with the time period.
AN: This is my first time writing a fanfic but the story has been in my head for too long and it just needed to get out. I hope you like it.
AN: English is not my first language, I apologize for any mistakes.
Created with Microsoft Designer
You made egg-white omelets?" Sam muses as Dean puts a plate in front of him. "Yeah. Breakfast of Champions… you know, if you're a dork like you." He does not offer me one, he already learned I have a coffee for breakfast. The only thing that can tempt me are pancakes… I lean on the counter sipping my "breakfast" and listen to the conversation between the Winchesters. By now, I'm used to being ignored by Sam and Dean knows better than to try to talk to me before I have at least one coffee in my system. Seeing them like that makes me remember how much I miss my sister… "And you slept past 7:00?" "Yeah, well, until we get answers on this Mark of Cain, I am on a 12-step program not to backslide." "12 steps?" I glance at them, intrigued to hear about those steps myself. "Yeah!" Dean starts. "Hey, if Cain found a way to live with it after going dark side, then I just got to find a way to keep it in check. So… I haven't had a drink in a week, eight hours of rack time every night, and...now this masterpiece." He points at the plates on the table. "That's three steps." Sam states. Well… they are actually four… he didn't mention the women… "Shut up and eat." Dean is quick to reply. "Wow. That's… that's awesome." I hide my smile behind my cup, of course Sam would like that kind of "food". "It's crap!" Dean exclaims and I'm not able to hide my laughter this time. He glares at me and I raise my hands in defense, almost spilling the remaining of my coffee. "Ugh… God!" He grumbles in frustration. "Soon as we get rid of this demonic tramp stamp, I am back on the booze, burgers, women and… more booze." Here it is… I huff to myself going to the kitchen's door. "Tell me you got something." I hear him pleading to his brother before I walk into the mainframe's room.

It's around 3am. when I walk into the library on my way to the bunker's door. The boys are asleep on the couches. Sam is out cold with his laptop on his lap, his head slump on his shoulder. Dean is sleeping on the other couch, an open book on his chest. I slowly pick the laptop from Sam's legs, setting it on the table and drape the blanket sitting next to him over his sleeping body. Then I go to Dean, picking up the book and finding some paper to mark the spot he is on before shutting it up and putting it next to the laptop. I grab a blanket and gently drape it over him. He takes my hand when I tuck the blanket over his chest. "Emi?" He asks sleepily. I glance down at him, surprised by the nickname. His eyes are closed and he is apparently asleep but he is gripping my hand tightly. I carefully run my fingers through his hair and he relaxes, his grip on my other hand loosening enough so I can pull it away. I quietly go up the stairs and out of the bunker.
"Ema, we are going out." Dean pokes his head through the slightly opened door of the bunker's mainframe room. "We'll be back in a few days. Am… you have fun with this mess, I guess." I just glare at him and he leaves the room laughing. He started calling me 'Ema' and sometimes even 'Emi' a few days ago, after that night in the library, but only when we are alone. I think he isn't even realizing he is doing that.
The prior weeks were calm. The boys have not been on any cases and were buried in research going through The Men of Letters archives. They never told me what they were looking for but I already knew it anyway. I have done the same thing myself after I realized the prophecy is real. I went through every book and every document available in The Order's headquarter in Prague. And then I repeated the same process with the one in Tokyo. And there was no information about The Warriors of The Fates except that those are chosen families meant to rise in the time of great need… and the fact that those warriors are destined to die, sacrificing themselves. But with all my research I was not able to find a single name or a single story about such sacrifice. The truth is, that there was a time I didn't believe any of this. But then, small things started happening and proving time after time that this prophecy is legit. I had 15 years to accept my destiny and I had gone through every phase. I know now that it is inevitable. But seeing them trying to fight it makes a little spark of hope flutter in my chest. I even make my share of searching for more information about the Mark of Cain in The Order's systems. I found nothing new… as expected. I have to kill this hope! I know better! I can't afford to be distracted!
The boys are now leaving to meet with Castiel after an emergency call. Castiel is an angel… I don't know why I'm surprised that they have an angel for a friend. The angels are not usually hanging around with humans but if someone is going to have an angel friend that would be the Winchesters.
"Is ketchup a vegetable?" Cas asks. "Hell yes!" I answer without hesitation. We are sitting in a diner after he had called us with some urgent matter. It turned out to be that Clair, the daughter of his vessel, had dodged him. "How are you, Dean?" "Fine." He tilts his head in disbelief. "I'm great!" I try to lie again. Maybe if I repeat it enough times I will believe it too. "No, you are not." He simply states. He has always been able to see through me. "Yeah, well, I lost the black eyes, so that's a plus. But I still have this." I pat on The Mark on my right forearm. It is barely visible under the sleeve of my shirt but I don't need to see it in order to feel its calling. "Is The Mark of Cain still affecting you?" "Cas, I need you to promise me something! If I do go dark side, you have to take me out!" "What do you mean?" Cas asks me with concern. "Knife me. Smite me. Throw me into the freakin' sun, whatever. And don't let Sam get in the way, because he'll try. I can't go down that road again, man… I can't be that thing again." And I'm not going to let Emilia die for this either. If I can keep her far away from this, maybe she will be ok. She never told us what would happen to her except that Sam is supposed to kill her after she kills me. And right now, I think he would. I think he might try it even before that… "Dean…" Cas starts "There are things that the angels can not be involved with. And the destruction of The Mark of Cain is one of them." "Of course you are." I sigh with frustration. "Stopping me is a job for A Warrior of The Fates, right! I'm tired of this bullshit!" I slam at the table. "Wait! What? How do you know about The Warriors of The Fates?" I forgot that he doesn't know about Ema. "Well… because there is one back at the bunker. And she claims that a prophecy has told her that she is going to kill me when I lose control of that fucking thing again." I spit the words angry with the situation. "Wait! How do you know about them? Sam and I have been trying to find any information about them and there is nothing. Nothing on them, nothing on The Mark, just nothing!" Castiel hesitates for a moment before starting to speak. "The Fates…" He starts "They are a special division in the angels' ranking… Do you remember the Titanic incident with Balthazar" "You mean those Fates!? That were killing innocent people!?" "It's… kind of complicated…" He hesitates again before continuing. "When the religions are saying that God has a plan for everyone, they are partially right and completely wrong. Think about God as a writer. He writes stories and in every story, there are main characters and some side characters. Some of those stories are not completely finished. There are some… plot holes. Sometimes God has made some small mistakes in the story, sometimes he just got bored with the story and abandoned it. The job of The Fates is to fix those stories so they may continue. And most of the time they do it without too much trouble. But there are cases when God has not entirely abandoned the story but has written himself in a situation without an obvious solution. For those cases The Fates are allowed to use additional characters. Since the beginning of time they have used special family bloodlines for this purpose. They protected them, nurtured them and bred them, so they could create the ultimate saviors. So they can use them when there is no other option. In fact, it seems your family is one of God’s favorite stories or you are one of those warriors. You check all the marks - the firstborn of two strong family lines." "So my life is just a badly written story? Is that what you are saying?" I yell at him but he says nothing, his eyes full with sympathy. "But why there is no information about any of those warriors? If they are the ultimate saviors, why has no one ever heard about them?"
"Because… God didn't like anyone but him to create the main characters. The Fates found a loophole. They created those saviors but they always had to die executing their missions or soon after that. And no record of their actions was ever preserved. Even the prophecies that they receive are enchanted so no one could ever know about them, so no one would ever believe them. There are some rare cases that people believe them but if that happens the records are always destroyed and they are lost for history forever." "So those people have no choice and they save the world and nobody knows about it!" "They always have a choice! Of course they do! God gave mankind free will… But I never heard of anyone refusing their calling…" "Is there any way to stop it?" I ask "Is there any way to prevent her from dying?" "No..."
"Dean?" I'm on my knees in the middle of the living room. The smell of blood is stuck in my nose. My hand is gripping the handle of the knife hard.
GIF from Pinterest
"Dean. Hey!" I recognize the voice of my brother. He is kneeling in front of me, his hands gripping my face, his eyes searching. "Tell me you had to do this!" He pleads. "I didn't … I didn't mean to." "No! Tell me it was them or you!" He is begging for an explanation, for me to have some logical reason. But I have none. I had lost control. And he knows it. And that terrifies him. "Not a word to Emilia." He looks at Cas and Cas nods. Emilia… she will need to do her job really soon. And I can not allow that. I need to control this better. I need to find a way to save her. She is not dying because of me. She is not just a minor character in God's broken story.

20 Questions for Writers
I was tagged by @chickensarentcheap!!! Thank you!!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
53
2. What’s your total AO3 word count?
764,479
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Oh god. Divergent. Stranger Things. Supernatural. Shadow and Bone. MCU. I have written for HP but not in a long while. Spartacus. Leverage. Jack Reacher. John Wick. Teen Wolf. Criminal Minds. Walking Dead. Lord of the Rings. Star Trek (2013). Beauty and the Beast (2017). Lost Boys. Sons of Anarchy. Knives Out. Naruto. Jujutsu Kaisen. Demon Slayer. My Hero Academia. Blade. Tokyo Revengers. True Blood. Whar Wars. From Dusk Til Dawn (TV series). Special mentions for Buffy the Vampire Slayer and others that I used in my SPN crossover fic.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
On Ao3?
Tammy Thompson Takes on the Upside Down (Stranger Things) Kudos: 1,226
The Art of Seclusion (Divergent) Kudos: 829
there's a heaven above you (don't you cry) (The Lost Boys) Kudos: 534
Barred (Shadow and Bone) Kudos: 415
It's Always Darkest Before the (Second) Dawn (HP/Shadow and Bone Crossover) Kudos: 357
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! Eventually I respond to all. It just takes me awhile before I do it in large batches lol
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Oh god. For ones that are completed and posted, it's The Art of Seclusion. I have others that...will not have "happy" endings but they aren't finished or shared yet.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
I have no clue. I haven't finished many outside of oneshots or series. It might depend on the reader. We'll see ;)
8. Do you get hate on your fic?
Not usually but it has happened. I had one person leave a review on AoS being very angry about my lack of warnings and promoting toxic relationships. They had a legit point about the warnings as I hadn't updated them in years despite the fic getting worse lol. I thanked them for pointing it out, updated my warnings and on my next chapter made a point of reminding my readers that the relationship wasn't healthy and not something to aim for. Never heard back lol.
9. Do you write smut?
Do I? 😃 You know it.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Not often, but yes. Caught in the Crossfire is a crossover with characters from multiple worlds coming into the SPN universe. It's Always Darkest Before the (Second) Dawn is on hiatus but it's a crossover between HP and Shadow and Bone.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Yes. Someone took Tammy Thompson Takes on the Upside Down and posted it as their own...only changing the name Tammy to Sammy 😂😂 I've also had fics being posted under my name on sites I didn't approve of. I had to contact the site directly to make them remove it.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Yes. Someone translated Famous Last Words into...Russian? It's on Ao3 too.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic?
Yes! I love working with ppl to write. I consider myself basically cowriting a bunch of fics with @vixenofcourse (even if sometimes she doesn't agree) because she gives me ideas for it. I cowrote Caught in the Crossfire with friends of mine, mainly the one who wrote all of Kelly's povs. (fun fact, she doesn't write fanfic on her own but she wrote that lol)
14. What‘s your all-time favourite ship?
Me with everyone I love 😂 No, i have no idea. My ocs and their pairings.
15. What’s the WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
....
16. What’s your writing strengths?
No idea. Dialogue? Not sure what else... lol
17. What’s your writing weaknesses?
DESCRIPTIONS. I find them the hardest....and don't ask me about describing my characters...
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I don't speak any other language well enough for that. I don't mind it, but usually I just write in English and show they're speaking another language somehow. If I do write in another language, I try to have the translations clearly understood.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Digimon lollll
20. Favourite fic you’ve ever written?
ALL OF THEM! And all the ones I haven't posted! There are so many i could show you but they're not done and I agreed not to post new long fics if they're incomplete.

Fic Tag Game!
I was tagged by @veloursdor, @mischievouschan4, and @lilredghost. Y'all probably forgot but I DID NOT. I've just been sad and mopey because I'm working when it's dark out with the time change and it's pitch black by the time I'm home, so I haven't gotten anything done!
How many works do you have on a03?
Ten
2. What’s your ao3 word count?
118,260!!
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Currently just Star Wars! And I don’t foresee that changing. When I first got into fanfic I wrote for Bleach, Final Fantasy VII (oh my god there were song fics, what the fuck), Harry Potter, Marvel Cinematic Universe (I had forgotten about that completely. Hopefully I forget again), and The Hobbit.
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
Hey this feels like a war crime, actually. They’re all obikin except the first.
Lady of the Rocks, with 1,125 kudos… my Hobbit fic that hasn’t been touched in like 6 years.
Bitter Honey (BEE FIC, BEE FIC, BEE FIC!! Sits at 447 right now)
Anakin Skywalker, Witch (420, nice)
Living with the Present (402)
Tapio (128)
5. Do you respond to comments? Why or why not?
Yes! Although frequently very late. I got bad about it this summer because this summer sucked, emotionally. But I love it when authors respond to my comments so, as hard as it is for me to believe, I imagine that people enjoy when I respond to their comments and try my best to do it.
6. What’s the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
I don’t think any of them have an angsty ending. One of the Harry Potter fics was going to though. LOL.
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Anakin Skywalker, Witch.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Nope!
9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?
Yes… mostly pretty vanilla right now I think. I need to expand my writing comfort bubble.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
I haven’t written any. Used to read a ton though.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I’m aware of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
Again, not to my knowledge.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No. It’s stressful enough trying to match my own writing voice haha.
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Obikin, definitely!
15. What’s a WIP you’d like to finish, but doubt you ever will?
My hobbit fic. I still get comment occasionally asking if I’ll finish it. My big thing with that fic was world-building and I’ve lost a lot of what I had. I WANT to work on it for the people that still enjoy it though.
16. What are your writing strengths?
I’d say probably dialogue, because I feel like I edit that the least, and world-building.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
….actually writing the words down RIP. Also comma usage.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I avoid it, generally. I read too many fantasy books and fics back in the day where you had to flip to the glossary at the end of the book/bottom of the page for translations and it gets annoying, especially if there’s a multiple characters speaking.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Omg I had to look up my old ff.net account to check this. It was Bleach.
20. Favorite fic you’ve ever written?
I want to immediately say Anakin Skywalker, Witch. It’s my first obikin fic, my first fanfic after a long hiatus. I’ve put so much work and research into it. But Tapio has a vibe that I really enjoy, and has managed to inspire that vibe in readers so… dark horse winner is Tapio.
Bonus: What fic would you want to rewrite one day?
Probably that damn Hobbit fic. I didn’t have an editor back then so I shudder to think about what the comma situation is there.
I feel like I've seen most people do this game already! So I'm not going to tag anyone, but if you see this and have not been tagged yet/want to do it... this is me, tagging you.
#f u you microsoft word not keeping my formatting#see if i copy/paste a numbered list ever again#fic#tag game#mal writes#ahahahahah never want to look at my ff.net account again#obikin

20 Q's for Fic Writers
tagged by: @chameliyun, thank you so much <33
1 - How many works do you have on ao3?
131 works so far ! 97 of them are for haikyuu!! and i cannot wait to celebrate my 100 hq fics hehe
2 - What's your total ao3 word count?
323,624 words :0 i didn't think it'd be that much, i tend to write short things, i'm excited to have written so many words !!!
3 - What fandoms do you write for?
i have posted for haikyuu, death note, bnha, yuri on ice, free, breath of fire iv, and fairy tale for some unknown reason XD but i have unposted / unfinished fanfic for a bunch of other things like hunter x hunter or fma
4 - What are your top five fics by kudos?
chat me up has always been my most popular fic and tbh ? yeah i see why XD it is one of the most fun and chatfics were popular at the time. after that come ...or not, blue like the sky, silent trust and saw my momma dad cheese
5 - Do you respond to comments?
yes !! fandom is a community first and foremost for me, and posting is also a way to interact. comments are immensely lovely to get and answer !!
6 - What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
ooh probably love me right ?? it's kinda the angstiest i've written... ever. but some nights is also. bad end. solely by virtue of being post apo and not very optimistic about it. i wanna rewrite it someday because i actually really liked that AU and it's not the best right now hmmm
7 - What is the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
honestly hasetsu tour guides (which is a series but shhh) is the happiest thing i've written ?? it's not the most fun in terms of plot but everyone is content with their life in a way i've not really written a lot
8 - Do you get hate on fics?
nope, not well known enough XD and i'm not complaining about it
9 - Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
i do ! i have no clue if there's a specific kind i stick to though, most of it isn't even posted or even written past heavy planning. trans cyborg smut is on its way though @notsuchasecret :3
10 - Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
i have written or co-written a NUMBER of crossovers. most are not on ao3 yet (or... ever...) but i have posted death note x snow white and hxh x little red riding hood, so. however i do think that owari no seraph x the frog princess (the russian fairy tale) is the wildest one so far !
11 - Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not to my knowledge, but that'd be kinda funny tbh ? imagine coming across your own obscure niche things in the wild. i'd almost be more disappointed it's not a new fic for my teeny fandom corner lmao
12 - What's the longest you've spent working on one fic? And the shortest?
the shortest would probably be a couple hours, for guardian of his king (written in a fugue state at like 3am, after Syb shared the drawing that inspired it. two of us fell in a trance btw, this was a POTENT artwork). the longest... i don't dare calculate... but it is measured in years and i haven't even started writing yet <3
13 - Have you ever co-written a fic before?
if you count detailed planning and extensive oral storytelling, many !! my best friend and i are very prolific behind the scenes, to her dismay XD. i thiiiiiink she is the only co-writer i have had ? but i LOVE doing group fics and i'd love to do it with other people
14 - What's your all-time favorite ship? From all fandoms?
"you ask questions i have no answers to" is what i was gonna say and then my brain went "well apart from bokuaka which has to be out of the competition-" so i may have an answer actually hahaha
15 - What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
oooh my god that naruto fountain of youth AU is never gonna be written. i have so so so much planned and i sift through and add more from time to time, but like... i pick my battles a little more wisely than this behemoth
16 - What are your writing strengths?
i'm not sure ! i do think writing dialogue is easier for me than most other things, and i love doing fun formatting / narrative constraints
17 - What are your writing weaknesses?
i forget to put down half of the words on the paper so my sentences make no sense and it's horrible to edit <- loves editing. doesn't love when i reread myself and every five sentences i have to think "who tf wrote this and what the hell does it mean. how do you go from here to there ??? oh wait i forgot a sentence again"
18 - Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
english isn't my first language. i write dialogue in another language 99% of the time. i don't think this question really takes into account the amount of ESL writers who are basically always doing this
to stay closer to what the question was meant to ask though, i have written sentences, in the middle of english fics, in languages that me or most readers don't speak. it is usually either a LONG process of looking up grammar rules, vocabulary, existing sentences etc... or what i did once, "write with mistakes because the person is learning the language still"
it is good imo to have characters speak their native tongue, or to add your own HCs onto characters and make them speak in their new native tongue, but it can be done more or less respectfully and more or less clearly. how do you include a translation, if at all ? is it jarring in the flow of your fic ? what about inserting song lyrics in another language ? it's a case by case basis for me tbh, and as a reference i really love how yuri on ice did it during the anime
19 - First fandom you wrote for?
i don't recall what i first wrote for exactly but i first posted for death note in 2015 :0 a while back !!
20 - Favourite fic you've written?
i don't have one at the moment, my criteria isn't defined enough these days. maybe some will jump out more later as they did in the past but for now i can say i love most of my children equally lmao
it took me a while to answer, sorry, and i'm too tired to tag anyone but DO feel free to say i tagged you if you wanna do it !!!!!!!

20 questions for writers
tagged by @mac-lilly! Thanks - this was fun!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
73
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
415,449
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Julie and the Phantoms, Teen Wolf, and Arrow
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Yes is Being My Answer (Arrow)
God Answers Every Question, But Sometimes the Answer is No (JatP)
The Total Agony of Being in Love (Arrow)
The Review (JatP)
The Loophole (JatP)
5. Do you respond to comments?
I usually don't, but that's something I really want to start doing.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Momentary Distraction, a Stydia fic for Teen Wolf - I was trying to figure out how to work Stydia sex into the timeline around the season 3 finale without it causing canon to diverge, so I needed Stiles to still end up dating Malia. That meant Lydia had to pull away at the end.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Let's go with The Thief and the Dude of Honor, featuring Willie reuniting with his family and being 24 hours away from getting engaged! (The season 3/series finale will top that, but I haven't finished that yet so I can't count it.)
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not that I know of, although I was actually too afraid to read comments when I first started writing, so there could be hate in there and I just don't know.
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Yes - 17 out of 73, about a quarter of my fics. I've written M/F, F/F, M/M, threesomes, and one orgy 😳. I tend to write relatively vanilla smut - no BDSM, nothing too kinky.
10. Do you write crossovers?
Nope. I know I had an idea for a Teen Wolf/Arrow crossover but I don't think I actually wrote anything for it, and it's certainly not finished and posted.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of.
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
No.
14. What's your all-time favorite ship?
Don't make me choose between my children! Uh, let's say Juke since they're my current OTP.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?
There's a Stydia WIP in my "Trunked" folder called "You Can't Spell Family without I-L(ove)-Y(ou)" that I really love - it's a teen parent, marriage-of-convenience-for-financial-aid fic. I was 78k in, but it probably would ended up being around 200k. And even now, I think about it, and it's like, you love that story, but do you really want to spend 6 months of your life writing something that will get like 4 kudos? But baby Allie is my all-time favorite OC, so... maybe someday.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Characterization, maybe? And I'm good at pantsing, if that makes sense--for example, a thing happens at the end of season 2, leading into season 3. And all along part of me has been like, "But it makes no sense. Why would this happen?" but the rest of me was like, "I don't care, it's happening." And then I got to the point of actually writing the scene and it was like, oh, obviously, that's why this is happening, and it actually makes complete sense. Like, I make what feels like an off-the-cuff decision but it ends out playing out perfectly.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Description, the bane of all fanfic writers. I'm writing some ofic, and it's like, what do you mean, I have to describe this guy's apartment? (Also, what do you mean, I have to come up with a personality for my heroine? It's a struggle.) Too many compound sentences, too. Someone should take away the em-dash from me.
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
I want to avoid it unless it's necessary. JatP Season 3 is probably going to need some Spanish, so that'll be a combo of class from 30 years ago and google translate.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Arrow
20. Favorite fic you've written?
The Thief and the Dude of Honor.
