broight to you by the fact i havent slept at all since 6-10 pm yestersay pls end my life

like poor guy is just, unable to settle down for the life of him. tried music, meditation, weighted blankets, everything, and he still just can't fall asleep so he gets up and starts wandering around. maybe he starts watching tv or a movie, maybe he makes a snack and reads, maybe he decides that now is the perfect time to do some time consuming task or clean every single inch of the house.

keeper wakes up to the sound of the pet accidentally knocking something to the ground, sees pet is gone, and freaks out. goes to living room and its just them staring at each other while the pet eats shredded cheese over the sink (straight from the bag).

on the other hand, the daytime eepiness.

it's barely twelve and poor thing can't keep his eyes open, falling asleep mid conversation, yawning with every word, seeming really distracted. he falls asleep mid - bath which is dangerous but he was just so warm and comfy! ): he can't help taking like fourteen million 10 minute naps per day. he's wandering around still in his jam jams and looks like he literally is asleep on his feet. eepy boy (:

This fits feral incredibly well. If it’s not canon that Simon is an insomniac for various reasons, it should be. So those two would be up doing chaotic shit together. Like, yes, feral is eating cheese straight from the bag, but Simon is brewing the strongest coffee in this hemisphere and they’re both chatting like it’s a weekend morning. I can see them getting lots of nap times together throughout the day. Ive said before (or at least agreed) that feral is cat-coded so this daytime napping business fits perfectly for him.

Johnny would be a menace, cooing over Shy Thing and trying to get him back into bed. Shy thing would go, wait until he’s snoring, and then creep out again to continue what he was doing. He’s less midnight cheese coded and more starting a lengthy project coded. Like, his whole bedroom needs rearranging, or the bookshelf needs to be reorganized - at 2am. But oh, Johnny would coo over his eepy boy. Dress him up in Johnny’s clothes and watch him shuffle around in too long sleeves, yawning if he sits down for too long, slumping into his shoulder in a nice patch of sunlight.

Good Boy spends all day napping on or against Price. His lap is his favorite spot, but he’ll settle for tucking up against his back too. Price tuts that he needs to stay awake, but poor baby boy just can’t. Price would also try to ~tire~ him out before bed. And while that may put him down for a three hour snooze, Good Boy will be creeping out of bed to watch old cartoons and sew/knit/crochet. Price usually wakes, scoops him up, and sets him in bed with headphones and a tablet.

So we know that if you are on Twitter and have a little 7 in your username you are a BTS fan, if you have a diamond you are a Carat (SVT fan), if you have a black and pink heart then you're a fan of Blackpink etc.

Now, I have an urge to do this for 1st gen groups and artists because why not?

Reason : fandom colour being pearl purple + their mystical fairy concept suits the magic ball. Also they'd have a "3" in their usernames because I can't see any Friend being anything but OT3, another alternative one is 🌊(wave) 👰(bride) 🐿 (chipmunk) - the wave is for Bada - Sea -, the bride for Eugene because she is everyone's dream bride lol and chipmunk is Shoo because she just looks like one.

Reason : Fandom colour is red and balloons were the lightsticks of the 90s era! Also would come in handy during the great balloon war of 2004. Pre debut fans would use 🏹 (Bow and arrow) because they thought that a girl group from Sechskies' company named "Fin Killing Liberty" would have a strong, warrior concept... Another alternative is ⚪⚫🔴🔵 (white ball, Black ball, red ball, blue ball) which stands for the members individual colours, White : Yuri, Black : Joohyun, Red : Hyori, Blue : Jin.

Reason : Fandom name is Baby Angels and their name is Baby VOX Lol.

But wait! There's drama. A popular acc with more than 700k followers starts that Baby V.O.X. are plagiarizing H.O.T. because H.O.T.'s fandom name is White Angels, and now Baby V.O.X. is using 😇 (Angel)

There would be a lot of Twitter drama, and because Baby V.O.X. have the junior fandom, their fans would start using 💗 (pink heart) instead as a reference to their balloon colour.

(It was actually my original idea for them to take an angel, but I decided that the finger poses are waaaay cooler for a boy group than an angel. You're a boy group that does hip hop! At least be cool!)

Sechskies : 💛 (yellow heart) or 💛💎 (yellow heart + crystal). I can't decide. PLUS a little 6.

Reason : Fandom/balloon colour yellow. The crystal also refers to the fandom name Yellowkies, it's for the "-kies" that DSP thought meant "crystals" in German - but no one told them it means "pebbles". Ouch.

did you go to alzners? how was it?

i did and it was so fun and lovely! everyone involved was clearly having such a good time hanging out playing this silly little softball game. the weather was perfect and the event was sold out but the field it was held at was small enough that it still felt super intimate, and the crowd was just full of people with so much pure dc sports love. it was so, so nice to see so many players who played here and then decided to make dc their permanent home, or who loved their time in the city enough to want to come back just for this charity event.

here are the lineups for the softball teams if anyone is interested!

tom was a last minute addition, i assume because he couldn't commit to the event until his wife gave birth to their child 😂

the game was so entertaining and charming. everyone was taking it just the right amount of serious while clearly having a great time and chirping and joking with each other! some highlights include:

joe b and locker, the caps' broadcast team, did the pxp and color commentary for the event, and alexa from monumental sports mc'ed from the field. caleb green and bob mcdonald, who do the anthem at caps games, also did the anthem for this! i was so tickled to see so much of the extended caps family turn out!!

when alexa grabbed zim after his home run derby turn to ask him what advice he had for his team before the game started he was like "no more than two high noons before the first inning 😐"

whenever tj came up to bat they used country roads as his walkup music and every time the crowd sang along super loud. also in true tj fashion he did eat it while running the bases at one point

when dsp was introduced there was a big D-S-P chant and also chants for each of his at-bats ❤

when noted usnwt player scamurra came up for her first at-bat someone in the crowd yelled, BE CAREFUL WE NEED YOU NEXT YEAR 😭

annie mae and natalie are two of our local news reporters (and annie mae is an in-game host for the caps!); they are very petite and were clearly at a huge disadvantage compared to all the huge pro athletes they were surrounded by but were SUCH good sports about it, and also the umpire kept calling them safe at first even when they were clearly out 😂 everyone decided this was just part of the game until things came down to the wire in the tied last inning and when the ump did this again tom ran all the way in from left field to jokingly argue with him about it 😭

anyway i had such a good time and honestly emerged feeling so refreshed and invigorated about why i love hockey so much. it's something i really love about my hometown team, what a great community we have, how many guys come here via draft or trade and then never want to leave. guys who didn't even end their careers in dc moving back to the area once they retire to be part of the community and give back to the community. i am still in my feelings about it!!!

Shirogane's dream - Monologues

As I promised, we will be covering monologues in the Shirogane's dream and some of his changes in the Ice Scream Remake in a separate post. Here will be purely my reflections, as always. However, I would also like to see your thoughts on this theme. And now let's get started!

Wowww, you're so weak. "Wow, you are so disgusting." Well, did he start behaving less disgustingly from this? ( - _ - ) Crying from a mere orca punch? Gross. Has our hot-tempered penguin ever found Shirogane crying? And what's more, did Shiro tell him why he was crying? Could this be the reason why our depressed wolf is now hiding from everyone to cry, and can not really tell anyone about his experiences? Just be quiet. Hmm… Shirogane said something to our polar bear, but in response she just shut him up? It's curious. Usually Rocma starts a dialogue with Shiro, who in turn either remains silent or answers her with monosyllabic sentences like "I'm sorry", "I'm sorry… (next comes the answer to the question she asked)", etc. I can remember a moment from manga, when our wolf was indignant at what she said instead of "Thank you", but she only ignored him and continued to talk about her own. Hey, Shirogane! You're looking stupid as always! Shirogane seems to have an over-hyper fixation on his appearance, since Suno-san refers to it more than once when verbally insulting a wolf. It is likely that this is due to the scars that were once inflicted on Shiro's body and on his face. These scars apparently bother him so much that he doesn't want anyone to see and/or mention them at all (he even hid the scar on his face from Yukisada, his friend, at one of DSP's official works).

….. ….. It reminded me of the moment in Ice Scream Round 3 where Yukisada had to remain silent for most of Rocma's scolding with roughly the same facial expression. ♪ Looks like someone was in a good mood. Too bad Shirogane can't boast the same… =( Hi, doggy! ♪ I'll give you a nice punch in the face. Even railroads could envy his directness. Really nothing to add. You really are pathetic, huh… Peraco seemed to hope that he wasn't pathetic (by the standards of the inhabitants of Iceberg Isle, I guess), but Shiro couldn't live up to her expectations. You're lower than a seal, you moron. If "seal" means Mafuyu, it's rather strange that you don't call her by her name, Rock.

H-Hey, don't say such mean things, everybody! Yukisada is the only one who tries to stand up for Shirogane. Our kindhearted owl is even ready to go against the majority opinion for him. I respect. I'll give you something to cry about. If you finally get off this isle, then believe me, everyone will cry. From happiness. =) I'm just speechless. When someone is speechless, they usually don't say anything, so don't lie to us, Rocma. ? We are often shown Mafuyu from a fragments of Shirogane's memories. I don't understand, why he pays quite a lot of attention to her, despite the fact that the seal girl herself, based on what is shown, doesn't do a lot of things. You're like a water flea about to die! Have you… seen a dying water flea somewhere? In the North? Or is it usually on TV at the Peraco's house?

Weakling! Worm! Wood louse! And now I'm even more inclined to think that they learned about the water flea, the worm, the wood louse, the caterpillar and the bees from the TV in the Peraco's house… Hey! Shirogane's crying! Stop it! Shiro upset that Yukisada has to stand up for him? Does he feel guilty that his friend has to do this, or is Shirogane ashamed that he can't take care of himself? Ahahahaha! You big baby! Look at the big baby! Here, Suno-san is trying to play on the shame of our pessimistic wolf. But, judging by the words of the snowman, there must be someone else (maybe Yukisada?) in order for the effect to be more tangible from what he said to him. You're dead, kiddo. Heh, it's funny that Rock in Ice Scream Original addressed our wolf not as "Shi*ogane", but as "kiddo". It's kind of a sad that DSP decided to remove it. ….. ….. Now I believe that you have speechless, Rocma. True. ( 0 v 0 )

The part of the post dedicated to my reflections on the monologues from Shirogane's dream is over. Next will be my thoughts about the remade version of the same monologues from the Ice Scream Remake. I will not draw any definite conclusions, since this is purely reasoning on what has been said, some of which doesn't carry a large semantic load in the context of the Ice Scream itself as a whole. And now - to the finish line!

Silence yourself. | Just be quiet. The sentence has been changed, but the meaning is the same. Here, rather, the difference will be in which of the options we have for what Rocma said, rudeness and harshness towards Shirogane will be more noticeable. ♪ | ♪ You won't see anything new here. You can safely skip. Crying just because a big bad orca hit you? Gross. | Crying from a mere orca punch? Gross. "Big bad orca" -> "Big bad wolf"; that's funny. I think in the "big bad orca" version, Rock's derogatory attitude towards the Shirogane's situation is much seen stronger than in the other case. You are seriously pathetic. | You really are pathetic, huh… Here, Peraco's disappointment towards Shiro is no longer noticeable due to the unfulfillment of her hopes in his person. Now she just thinks he's pathetic. Heya, Shirogane! Your face is looking as stupid as ever! | Hey, Shirogane! You're looking stupid as always! Now Suno-san puts more emphasis in insults not so much towards the whole appearance of our pessimistic wolf, but towards his face. Hmm… Woaaah, eww. You're really weak. | Wowww, you're so weak. In the Original Idate showed feigned surprise at the wolf's weakness. In the Remake, he pretends that Shirogane's weakness is comparable to stepping on a poop, I guess.

Hey, everyone, don't say such mean things to him! | H-Hey, don't say such mean things, everybody! Yukisada is still the voice of adequacy in this madhouse, but, for some reason, the moment with his silence was cut in the Remake (I marked in purple what wasn't in the Remake). You're even worse than a seal, you absolute fool. | You're lower than a seal, you moron. Rock began to place more emphasis on insults towards Shiro. Considering that it is written in his bio that he takes out his disappointment on the poor guy, it becomes clear what DSP is trying to focus on. You wussy! Worm! Weevil! | Weakling! Worm! Wood louse! Nothing new has appeared. It's just that now we know that you can also see weevils on TV in the Peraco's house. Listening: I have been going back through some of @kelp-of-discontent's recs that I've saved and not gone back to. Great taste! Here's Pool Kids's Pool Kids

I always love the unmoored feeling good math rock gives you and this really lands that.

Watching: Double Features, 1) Bara no Soretsu/Funeral Parade of Roses because @thosearentcrimes has been trying to get us to watch that forever and we finally just sat down and watched it on yes the extremely funny ultrawide monitor that was being used as my TV.

Bara no Soretsu is very good in that arthouse way where it's very unpolished and has some very out there ideas about what makes a good movie but executes on it earnestly and with a goal. It's a combination of a movie about transgender women in the underground gay men's scene in 60's japan loosely based on the myth of Oedipus and also a documentary following the actors as they make this movie, in a way that makes it kind of hard to tell when something is meant to be the movie and when it's meant to be the documentary.

It's very uh. Challenging? It's honestly less tragic than I was expecting and it's mostly just a fascinating look into this very specific time and place. The interviews are priceless, a trans woman very straight facedly looking into the camera when asked "are you having a good time" and going "no, but I'm going to keep doing it". 10/10

Also Tomb Raider but the 2001 Angelina Jolie one. An impromptu pick for Bad Movie Night because we had an empty house and didn't want to burn a good bad movie. Tomb Raider is most interesting in how it approaches shooting action which is to say that it's mostly not good at it but has brief moments of inspiration. A very generic action adventure story otherwise, featuring young Daniel Craig as a prettyboy graverobber counterpart to Lara Croft. They made Angelina Jolie do an English accent and she just could not do it.

Reading: The other short stories that came along with Story of Your Life by Ted Chiang. Tower of Babylon is a fun atmospheric story of the Ancient Sumerians building a tower to breach the vault of heaven. Division by Zero is a very compelling depiction of a mathematician going insane because she has proven arithmetic to be inconsistent, which is notably not accompanied by any material changes in the world around her, which I liked.

Making: Mostly preparatory. I have a few project I've been sketching out, including hacking my own controller onto a WS2812 LED string and automating my radiators. The stepper motors and the string arrived today. Looking into exprTK, an expression evaluation library that should be suitable for my needs, and the ESP32 RMT subsystem which is a cute little mini-DSP and modulator built into the ESP32 ostensibly for IR Remote Control but frequently used now to quickly and efficiently implement all manner of protocols.

Playing: More Dark Souls, although less this week because I've been doing other things. still working around Darkroot Basin but I really haven't been there long. The ents are a real pain in the ass when paired with the knights, not because they're very hard but because you just have to wait for them to jump you.

Tools and Equipment: a new AMD GPU tuning utility for Linux was released a little while ago, LACT, which has a much simpler interface than some of the older tuning utilities. I like it, especially since I was doing some fan noise tuning after I installed the new network card and being able to just hit the fan speed with a slider was convenient.

you woke up in an empty bed realizing that all of your partners were gone, you decided to check your phone to see if any of them told you where they were in which you saw a text from taehyung saying:

you decided to get up and get ready for the day. after you got out of the shower you picked out your clothes and walked out of the room seeing jiwoo and somin just walk in.

y/n: im a little hungry, did you guys get anything to eat while you were out?

jiwoo: actually we didn't we wanted to see if you wanted to get breakfast

you decided to drink the coffee your beautiful girlfriends got you before you left to go to breakfast which was starting to turn into brunch

once you left, you all choose a small breakfast café near the DSP building. since the building was hidden from the main road it was difficult for the cameras to find you guys.

after you walked in and ordered, you saw that no one else was inside which made for a pretty peaceful breakfast.

you, somin, and jiwoo just sat a talked there for what felt like hours but truly was about 45 minutes. as you were getting ready to leave you decided you get a to-go order for taehyung and matthew as well. the owners know all of you guys by heart because you come in so often, but your small talk had to be cut short as you saw people come in and didn't want to be recognized.

once you guys got back into your car, you decided to drive and you all made it to DSP. it was only a few minutes before you walked into the dance room and found your boyfriends dancing and of course, they didn't notice you at first but when the song ended you and your girlfriends started fan girling like there wasn't a tomorrow.

by the time taehyung and matthew turned around they were both red hot.

somin: we brought food, come eat

y/n: yeah we got your favorites

you said with a smile on your face. you and the girls sat on the couch that was in the corner while the boys sat on the floor in front of it.

matthew: you girls are too good to us

I closed my eyes not in mood of any fight again. I don't know what's her problem, she just wants reason to start a fight.

aaj bhut dinno baad araam se good morning hui hai. I made mommy to lay in the tub after removing all her clothes while i took the fragrance soap lotion with a scrub. I started from broad shoulder, her strong biceps and triceps, her arms, her fingers, her neck, her breast, her back, her waist, her lower part, her inner thighs with some teasing, then her strong thighs, her calf, her ankle and at last her feet. I washed her completely, and then washed myself. Once I was done with my work, I dried her body and made her sit without clothes in front of mirror. HOW DOES BOHDIE SOUND DESIGN?

I'm gonna make a whole series of posts dedicated to just sound design at some point because BOY do I love just Fucking around with knobs and dials and buttons and claiming I have a profession. Shaping a sound into something I want it to be is kinda easy for me personally. How it usually goes is something like

Take a sound that is a good basis for the end product. Doesn't have to sound even anything like it, it could just have some of the elements you want. EG for this track I needed something organic and familiar sounding to start off with, as the end result I wanted to get was something familiar, yet warped and destroyed

Determine what you want to turn the sound into. Ideally this comes before even step one, but we'll ignore that

(here's the fun bit) GO FUCKING NUTS WITH PLUGINS. if you have outboard stuff that can achieve the same result, though, USE THAT. I just bought two (2) tape players/recorders on the cheap (more about what I'm using those for in another post one day)

Rounding out my insane ramblings on this post, I'm gonna mention the instrumentation, plugins, and other miscellaneous stuff in case you're interested: Mainly used Baby Audio's BA-01 synth, that goes for the bass tracks, pad and melody (although not the sub bass I used a built-in 808 for that) Plugins, as mentioned, a lot of Digitalis for digitising the cool organic, not-quite-there voices, as well as Deelay for the delay, RC-20 to add some flutter and noise, and a built in EQ and compression for light initial mixing. Boring stuff tbh :(

I can't even tell you everything that has happened since I last posted...

Lisa is now a meth head, I've had limited interactions with her over the years. Mom lets her see Andrew but not much from what I know. Lisa's boyfriend Shane is just as horrible as she is..

I talk to my mom more regularly now, I let her be the first to reach out most of the time unless it involves my brother Shawn. She still lives with David, she tried to get out but it last 3 months and she was back with in the same house. The place she had was a dump and with shitty landlords so I don't blame her. I wish she would finally leave him though.. I still can't believe that this is how we ended up..

I haven't worked at the thrift store for about 6 years now. I am a DSP and help take care of developmentally disabled adults. Its been rough recent as I've taken on the responsibility of my brother Shawn, since mom has moved grandma in with her. I feel more worn down by the day and often wonder where I sit mentally and if Im actually fit to do this job..

I haven't seen Andrew in person in about 8 years now... I have gotten to talk to him on the phone or facetime when hes around when mom calls me.. I miss him so much and want whats best for him.. this is a very hard topic for me still..

Relationships... man its been a wild ride.. I left Alex when he cheated on me. His baby mama is now with my Cousin Matt so I still get to see their child. After Alex i got into a relationship with our friends and became their third... When they didn't think i was happy anymore had pushed me to date one of our friends but then when we actually became a thing they tried to break it up.. I was with Tony for almost 2 years before he called it off... Not sure what happened between us honestly, I thought we were going to be together until the end.. Now I am with Amir.

Amir and I have been together for 2 years now. We are poly, he has 2 other girlfriends while I am on the hunt for either another boyfriend or girlfriend. (Came out as bisexual awhile ago). We live together and had gotten a dog about a year ago to add with our (my) 2 cats.

I'm still lost, not sure where life is going to take me or where I even want to try and get it to go anymore..

This is one of many archived fanfics featuring 1st and 2nd generation K-pop acts that I've come across recently. It's all in good fun, and maybe a bit cringeworthy! Just to clarify, I don't post fanfics, so I hope to the people that post and read K-pop fanfics makes sense. Credits go out to the original creator 90s_love.

It features a diverse cast of characters, including Kim Jaeduck, An Seungho (Tony), Moon Heejoon, Jang Woohyuk, Ahn Chilhyun (Kangta), and Lee Jaewon from H.O.T., alongside Eun Jiwon, Lee Jaijin, Kang Sunghoon, Ko Jiyong, and Jang Suwon.

The story is enriched with themes of superpowers, magic, and the intrigue of secret identities, creating a captivating blend of fantasy and drama.

Initially published on February 1, 2022, and updated last on March 7, 2022, the narrative spans 4,451 words across five chapters.

Summary:

Angel White and Crystal Light are two mysterious vigilantes who is after to destroy the illegal terrorist organization, Dark Archive. With their friend spirits, they protect the world. Meanwhile, their alter-egos are famous Kpop idols who have a rivalry within their groups. Can they keep their secret identities a secret from them?

Chapter 1 - Backstory

There was a boy who was titled Project A. He was around 9 years old and was tortured throughout his whole life. One day, while he was walking around the lab, he hears someone crying. He went up to see another kid in one of the test rooms.

"Are you okay?"

"No. I want to go home."

"Where is your home?"

"I don't know. They captured me when I was a baby."

That surprised him. He was captured as a baby too but he never seen him before.

"What's your name?"

"They call me Project C. This is Crysta, my friend spirit."

"I'm Project A. This is my friend spirit, Ange."

Since then, A and C have been friends. They secretly played together and wondered what it's like outside of the lab.

"You know, I had another friend. His name was Project D. But they sent him to a different test room and I haven't seen him since."

"What happened to him?"

"I don't know."

Then, they hear the door opening.

"You two aren't supposed to be together!" One of the scientists shouted. "Come on, Project C. You don't belong here."

"Let go of me."

But they didn't let go.

"Let go of him."

"What?"

"I said, LET GO OF HIM!"

Project A's eyes and hair glowed and attacked the scientist. After he knocked them all down, he and Project C escaped the lab. They went to look for help and they did. They met up with a police officer and told him what happened. They were sent to an orphanage and were adopted by people who loved them. They seen each other for a year until A had to go to America with his father. They promised to see each other again.

It's been 10 years since then. Project A, now An Seungho, is a Kpop idol going by the name Tony An. He and four other boys debuted last year under the name H.O.T. Before debuting, he took down Dark Archive's (the organization who kidnapped him as a infant) American base and came back to Korea to take down the original Korean base. One day, H.O.T were told that the rival company is going to debut a group.

"Can this get anymore complicated?"

"Now, Tony. It can't be that bad." said Heejoon.

"Yeah hyung. They can't be as good as us." said Jaewon.

"We'll see about that. DSP's getting pretty good with this lately." says Woohyuk. And he was right.

Sechskies debuted a month later and the response was greatly appreciated by their fans. Of course, the rivalry became a real thing. Well, to the fans at least and not the groups.

"Great show." said Jiwon.

"This is going to be great." said Sunghoon.

"Yeah. But the rivalry of us and H.O.T. It's not real, right?" Jaijin asked.

"Depends." Jiwon assures him. Is that suppose to be assuring to them or be an insult to H.O.T? Speaking of, they're were coming towards them.

"Good show." Heejoon complimented them.

"Thank you." Jiwon says sarcastically.

Seungho looks at one of the Sechskies members. He looks a little familiar. He greets him. "Hi."

"Hello." The other spoke in a Busan dialect.

"Nevermind..."

"What?"

"Oh, nothing. It's just... You reminded me of a friend."

"Well, we're not friends and shouldn't be!" shouted Jiwon.

"Alright, alright. We'll leave." H.O.T left them.

"Was that rude or what?" said Chilhyun. He goes by Kangta.

"I'll say." Woohyuk agrees.

Just as H.O.T were about to go on stage, the alarm went off.

"Everyone in all the studios. Evacuate immediately. A..."

There was a gun shooting sound. They had to evacuate. Then, they lost Seungho and they were met with men in black army attire and were armed with weapons.

"Now's the end."

"AH!" 

As the armed men were about to attack, they were attacked by another person. 

"You're..."

"Angel White. Only heard of you. Never knew you were real."

"And I am. What are you doing here?!"

"Nothing that you need to know!"

They continued fighting each other and Angel White pinned them with sharp feathers. He burned off their marks and left them powerless. As he was about to go downstairs, he met another masked being.

"Who are you?"

"I am Crystal Light. I'm fighting against the Dark Archive soldiers."

"What?" Then it occurred to him. "You're C?"

"A! I wanted to see you."

"Me too. How are things downstairs?"

"Everyone's out."

"Not everyone. There were a few people in the building but I evacuated them."

"That's good to know."

They went to a small room and talked to each other.

"You know, I met someone who I thought it was you."

"Who?"

"I think his name was Kim Jaeduck. From the new group, Sechskies. I think that's what they're called."

"Acutally... Back to self." Crystal Light transformed back into his civilian form.

"What?! You're... Back to self." Angel transformed back too.

"You're Tony An! Wait... You're A?"

"And you're C?"

"Ange!"

"Crysta!"

Their friend spirits greeted themselves and Seungho and Jaeduck told each other what happened after Seungho moved to the U.S..

"So, Dark Archive had an American base?"

"Yes. I took them down."

"All by yourself?"

"They were relatively small compared to Korea's base. And what was with the Busan dialect?"

Jaeduck hesitate for a bit and said, "My current adoptive parents killed my first adoptive mother."

"What?!"

"They threatened me to not tell the police or they will kill me too. After I became an idol, they kept taking my money."

Seungho understood what pain Jaeduck went through. He decided to help him escape his adoptive family and report them to the police. 

"But hyung. It's not easy."

"Don't worry. I'll help you through everything."

"The others won't like it."

"They don't have to know. We'll keep it a secret."

"Okay. So, are we a duo now?"

"I guess we are."

After a few days, Seungho and Jaeduck reported the crimes of Jaeduck's adoptive family. His parents killing his first mother and all of them stealing his money. They were sentenced to jail and were never seen again. Seungho decided that Jaeduck should stay with him. He agreed and they became closer than ever. Every time there was a crime, they would always appear in their alternate forms.

whuh?? what was that yesterday??? a full day with no rhythm gaming??? impossible... i haven't seen such a day or phenomenon since ages ago... but i guess it really did happen . i was kinda burnt out from gaming yesterday and wanted to make it more productive (failed), so i kinda maybe skipped out on any notable rhythm gaming besides grinding easy-hard charts in proseka for coins . but now i'm back, and i'm coming back strong with an AP on Awake Now [APPEND Lv.29] as Append AP #13!!! right in front of some really annoying little babies that i have to call my relatives...

but no matter!! i got out of there finally and packed some stuff so i could head over to Round 1 for... my friend's birthday celebration!!!! terrible warm-up in the form of a single agonizing song of DDR (BTF ESP-18 as seen in the image and my twitter dot com), but then following it up with a really fun time on SDVX doing Megamix Battle with said friend!!!

and then following THAT up, i've got a bunch of scores from some friend matches and 17s that we played together!!! woag,,, i feel like i'm getting really good at these 17s mayhaps...

quick transition over to DDR, where i got a dual 3y3s [DSP-14] PFC as 14 PFC #14, followed by some sweet new Flare EX clears on True Blue [ESP-16] and Hatsune Miku no Shoushitsu [CSP-15], leading me to get SUN++ RANK!!!

Why I want to learn saxophone in 2024🎷

The saxophone 🎷 in Detective Conan's soundtrack captivated me as a child. And when I found Sidney Bechet's 'Si tu vois ma mère', as a teenager, I just wanted a saxophone. And with finding Sade, I knew without a doubt that it was the next instrument for me, no matter when.

Years later, I found a pocket saxophone in an Instagram ad and it was mesmerising

Spontaneously, I decided to buy this instead of music business resources . It was so cool and I want to play like Coltrane and Masego. I want to do all the things I really love. Being on the phone is a sign of boredom and if wasting my time on earth. Even though I learn a lot and gets a few laughs out of the videos and memes, but I want to experience life. The old fashioned way with instruments, writing manuscripts for books and letters to faraway friends in longhand, cooking more and not ordering food to your doorstep, and time offline to read all my novels and contemplate about life and pray and be present with my wife and kids. I call myself a writer, musician and philosopher and I want to do just that, not approximated hesitant approaches to writing by outlining, fantasising and researching without ever writing down chapters that can be read, reviewed, edited and shared. All these unused notebooks, Collegeblocks and calendars. All this motivation and no tangible goals,results or organisation for my creative and intellectual life. I don't wanna be a wannabe.

What's stopping me?

The second reason was that I wanna build new enjoyable habits, not just detect and stop my harmful ones. For example my habit of pornography needed to stop but my sexual energy should be transferred or transmuted to other physical and mental activities. It's easier to stay physical for my inferior Se (exterior sensing) to be stabilised and challenged just enough. So making sports, playing instruments over reading or producing music on my laptop. I need a physical, haptic kinetic component in my activities. Walking outdoors does wonders for me even if I'm pushing the stroller and watching my babies play.

The third reason is that being a stay at home dad, I need a mental challenge. Being with toddlers all day, not being in deep conversation with adults or engaged in critical thinking, I fear that I can't get to play off my greatest strengths. And while I enjoy the time with my boys -which will end soon enough and I will miss this slow pace- I could need a challenge to grow my faculties.

Financially I want to retire my wife and secondly my mother, so I gotta make money. But since I can't get a babysitter for my babies, I gotta treat the post-pandemic world as if I'm in a pandemic in a music business sense. So how can I make money without performing, without being outside and over the long term?

My answer is: 1. build a catalogue that can be sold and streamed online (I stay away from DSP like Spotify and will use YouTube, SoundCloud and Bandcamp)

2. Get sync licenses for your music to be used in

4. Use your music and books in your own productions of artworks and media (own soundtrack,own script written, own director work)

5. Use Collabs to reach new fanbases

6. Write Longform content on the email newsletter and website and introverted spaces (Wordpress and Tumblr)

So the saxophone that I am awaiting will teach me to start learning correctly from the start and will serve as a symbolic transition from hobbyist to self-employed blogger and offline artist that shares his mind, connects for a brief time and then dips out again to resume his preferred life off the grid.

I want to make money with digital real estate like Monopoly. It means that my revenue from my creations will add up cumulatively but it doesn't need my constant supervision every second of the day. I will be making money in my sleep and will promote, create more and start speaking and teaching to pass it forward and to be a teacher and guide for other Christians, creatives and growth-oriented people.

Baby Audio acquires Denise Audio

I honestly liked Baby Audio since their debut. I got most of their plugins, and they sound fantastic. Spaced Out, IHNY, and TAIP have all unique flavors and give character to my productions. I might write an article only about this, but we have news today!

The LA music software company Baby Audio has acquired Berlin/Amsterdam-based Denise Audio. Baby Audio plans to revamp the Denise catalog and improve its existing DSP. The acquisition will allow Baby Audio to have two brands and fuel future research and development for new plugins. CEO Rob Stegeman is pleased with the deal and is excited to pursue new opportunities. Denise Audio users can expect improvements and new product releases.

Baby Audio has recently acquired Denise Audio, a plugin company. The acquisition was not planned, as the former is an independent company with no external investors or private equity influence. However, they were presented with an opportunity to acquire Denise Audio on fair terms and realized that their plugins were more powerful than they were perceived to be. This led to a decision to make the acquisition, as they saw a clear opportunity to work with all the amazing DSPs and improve on everything that was lacking. Having two brands will also fuel future research and development for plugins, allowing them to hire more specialized developers and release more experimental products.

CEO Rob Stegeman, who founded Denise Audio in 2018, said that after five years in the plugin industry, he wanted to pursue other passions. Stegeman started looking for a new owner of Denise Audio who would carry on – and improve upon – their work with respect for the user base and new ideas for the future. Baby Audio was the perfect buyer, as he admired their attention to detail and product quality. He expressed confidence that they would continue the journey for Denise Audio and take the brand further. He also mentioned that he is happy with the deal and excited to share what he has coming in the near future.

Baby Audio has already rebuilt all Denise plugins for compatibility with the most recent operating systems and is looking to release new products based on the existing Denise Audio catalog and DSP. Operating two brands will give them the bandwidth to do things with improved muscle and purpose, allowing them to continue increasing the ambition level for Baby Audio with a more extensive development team while treating Denise Audio as a playground for bringing out esoteric concepts, as this is aligned with the brand’s profile.
