Mr Bones, your BB AU is so stuck in my head that when lookin at Larkwing FQ's wiki page, I was so completely and utterly confused because I swore her sname was LarkSTRIPE, and wasn't Ripplestar her son??? I wasted like 30 minutes trying to figure out if I was crazy because how coulld the wiki get someting like thing wrong???? But it is I who is the clown it seems.

This absolutely happens to me too lmao you're not alone. I look at fanart of the founders and have a lizard brain moment where I'm like "why does Thunder have four legs?? OH. RIGHT"

i created the AU a good few years ago & even then only worked on it for maybe a week before abandoning it, gumball kirby & cotton kracko are the only designs i remember & i just have a note of Dreamland being based around candy, Patchland bakery goods, Ripplestar fruits, & just Halcandra looking like soup

& now that i'm thinking about it,, perhaps Nightmare could be made out of licorice, Heavy Mole gumdrops or some type of hard candy, Whispy Woods being made out of chocolate bark/gula gait bc Tree or just wafers, Mr Bright being those atomic fireball candies & Mr Shine... banana candy i guess

oh & on other kirby characters, Coily Rattler can be chocolate rocks, Blocky is just lokum, Mr Star obviously konpeito, & i don't think you'd have to change Void's design too much to say it'd be a jawbreaker lol

i tried making a kirby food-themed AU some years ago too & honestly u are executing this concept a whole lot better than i did. one thing i would like to share is Kracko being made out of cotton candy & his spikes are the cones. & also i'm just a bit curious as to how you'd design a few other characters like the poppy bros or bosses from kirby's adventure =-)

aaaaa I love the idea! I miiiight have to tweak this design because I'm not 100% satisfied with it.

with poppy bro and paint roller I got an idea on what to do. kirby's gotta get his cherry bombs from somewhere sooo I did this whole thing backwards and based poppy bro off of kirby's bomb ability.

paint roller is inspired by a gingerbread house and his paint is icing. I think I like this idea so I might not change it.

with other kirby bosses...yeah idk what to do with them. I already got dedede and mk, and with whispy I was thinking he could have candied apples, but that's about as far as that idea goes, lol.
