Summary: Morticia and Gomez have been hearing about a certain girl and are elated to finally meet the mouse who has fallen in their little Vipers trap.

Nobody, especially not her mother, thought Wednesday Addams would fall in love. She viewed love as a weakness, a disgustingly human emotion that she never wished to feel. But meeting Y/n L/n changed her universe for all of eternity, and Wednesday wouldn’t have it any other way. 

When the two met, Wednesday couldn’t care less about the bubbly vampire, at first glance the girl had no regards to the dress code and was incredibly annoying. But as the two’s paths crossed more and more, Wednesday seemed to not hate the girl’s presence. But as time passed, the line between not hating and liking began to blur. The raven haired girl enjoyed the vampire’s presence, something that made her want to stick pins and needles into her eyes. 

One night while talking to her parents and Pugsley on her crystal ball, Enid mentioned Y/n and Wednesday let it be known that she was dating a girl. Morticia could have fainted in that moment, and Gomez was elated that his little Viper had met someone the way he had met his Morticia. While Pugsley wondered why anyone would willingly date his sister, have they met her?

Y/n was lying on her bed when Wednesday walked into her room.

“No knocking? Not even a hello? Jeez chivalry is dead.” Y/n mutters, before looking up from her phone, “What are you doing in here? Shouldn’t you be with your family?” 

“Knocking isn’t even chivalry, and that’s why I’m here. My parents would like to meet you.” Wednesday says, as if it was no big deal. 

Y/n sat straight up, the blanket that was around her falling, “They what?” 

“Mother won’t stop pestering me about you.” Wednesday comments, sitting on the edge of Y/n’s bed completely unbothered. 

Y/n quickly scrambled out of the bed, ignoring the way her phone clattered to the ground. She was less than presentable, clad in only a tanktop and sleep shorts and her hair was messy. She had planned to stay in bed all day until her roommate brought her dinner. 

“What if they hate me?” Y/n wondered, going through her closet trying to find a uniform that wasn’t extremely altered to her own taste. 

“You’re incredibly dramatic,” Wednesday notes from her position on Y/n’s bed, before adding to soothe her girlfriend’s anxiety “plus mother and father are already obsessed with you.” 

“Don’t look.” Y/n points at Wednesday sternly before turning her back to the dark haired girl to change. 

The girl quickly strips from her pajamas and changes into her uniform and moves to her vanity to tame her hair. Wednesday watches as her girlfriend frantically ‘fixes’ her appearance. 

Soon enough the two of them are making their way to the quad where her family sat amongst themselves. It was incredibly obvious who her family was, dressed in different shades of black they seemed to have a stormcloud above them keeping the sunlight above at bay.  

Y/n was incredibly anxious and if this were a cartoon, she would have audibly gulped. Wednesday gently took her cold hand in her own, sensing her nerves. 

Wednesday led Y/n over to where her family sat at a cold concrete table, talking amongst themselves.

“Mother, father, this is my girlfriend, Y/n.” The short girl introduced. 

“So you’re the little mouse who has fallen in our Viper’s deathtrap.” The short man beamed, standing to shake the girl’s hand. 

“Oh, isn't she just darling?” The beautiful woman, Wednesday’s mother, asked her husband. 

Y/n suddenly felt extremely exposed in her modified uniform, suddenly wishing she hadn’t defined Weems when she told her the first four times to not modify her uniform. 

“Hello Mr and Mrs Addams.” Y/n shook both of their hands. 

“Wednesday tells us you are quite the skilled swordsman.” Gomez brings up, and Y/n can feel her body burning. 

“Oh, I guess you could say that. Not as good as Wednesday, sir, I hear you’re the one who taught her how to fence.” Y/n rambles, talking expressively with little motions and gestures. 

Wednesday rolls at her girlfriend's poor attempts to suck up to her parents, “You’re being modest, Cara Mia, Bianca claimed you were the only worthy opponent here at Nevermore.” 

Wednesday was never one to care what others thought of her, but watching as her parents got to know Y/n. She couldn’t help but feel a swirling sense of pride at her parents' approval of her girlfriend. 

Y/n was rambling about something that had happened last week when Wednesday grabs Y/n’s hand and presses a kiss to the back of it. 

Pugsley lets out a dramatic, ‘ew’ at the way his sister is affectionate with the girl by her side. Wednesday shoots him a look that could kill a grown man, shutting him up. 

“It looks as though history repeats itself.” Morticia comments, watching the way her daughter looks at her lover with the most adoration she had ever seen in her daughter's dark and cold eyes. 

“Oh Nevermore, how I love you!” Gomez exclaims. 

The next day had gone basically the same, when it was time to go Morticia and Gomez gushed about the girl who had stolen their darling daughter's cold heart. Pugsley laughed at the way Wednesday was going soft because of the vampire. 

“I will take your small intestine and will hang you from that tree with it.” Wednesday threatens, ignoring the way her body felt warm from the teasing. 

After the rest of the Addams family left, Y/n and Wednesday made their way to Wednesday’s room. Enid was with Ajax leaving the two love-sick teens alone. 

It was a rare moment that the two were actually alone, normally Thing or Enid were in the room. So when the couple was alone, they made the most of it. Basking in the other’s presence, music played quietly in the background. 

The two lay facing each other, talking quietly. 

Y/n was telling Wednesday about something Eugene had done the other day that Y/n had found humorous. The girl was laughing at her own story and a few strands of hair fell out of place. Wednesday took notice of this and gently pushed the pieces behind Y/n’s ear. Y/n’s laughter subsided as the girl gently caressed her face. 

The domestic action took the vampire by surprise, “Someone is being extra loving today, who did you torture?” 

“Nobody, at least not today. Am I not allowed to show my girlfriend affection? The same affection I recall you begging for constantly.” Wednesday points out. 

Y/n rolls her eyes, “That is my bad, I will simply sit here and enjoy the suspicious amount of attention.” 

After a few minutes, Y/n speaks up again, “Do you think you’re parents like me?” 

Wednesday sighs, “Mi amor, mother will be talking about you non stop for the next month. I even heard them talking about inviting you over for the holidays."

He's another one who thinks it's silly at first but puts up with it because it's you! Really, for such an extrovert who loves being a comedian, he tends to get embarrassed a bunch. But as it goes, he is willing to do anything for love—of course with his own "professional input."

He runs the show in terms of what y'all are picking. He needs it to be a good mix of funny but cute ALWAYS. I see a small argument as you guys go back and forth on what to wear and how it should look. But ultimately, if you really pushed for it... he would go with what you want because he's above fighting over costumes (sometimes)

He could settle for a simple sun and moon costume, he is after all the brightest sunshine boy to exist. But it's fairer to say that y'all would end up going with a childhood favorite comedic character and who better than Doraemon! He would adore this idea up and down and out! Of course, he's gonna be Doraemon and you're going to be Mii-chan or Noramyako... let's be real he wouldn't let you get the chance to steal the Doraemon spotlight from under him.

Vernon Sarah & Wirt/Adventure Time

Go with the flow all the way~ Which is to say he'd love to dress up with you and go with whatever ideas you have for him in terms of costume. He doesn't play into it as enthusiastically as others would but definitely is supportive through and through, constantly pushing you to challenge your ideas of what the costume should be. Very much the type to be like "What were you originally thinking?" if he notices you trying to tone it down - because despite what people may think he is very expressive, especially through fashion (as we know)

If he did give any sort of input or inspiration forward I definitely think he would be going for some sort of cartoon or comics, he's mentioned Hellboy before so I feel like that's a good route, I can also see X-men being a thing. But I'm a cartoon nerd at heart and OG carats know he used to rave about Adventure Time so I can definitely see him bring Simon & Betty to the table, maybe Marshal & Gary, perhaps a Fin & Flame Princess, or Jake & Lady. I'm a sucker for the idea of y'all as Wirt and Sarah from Over the Garden Wall though, like would die to see him in the vicinity of that show.

He is 100% the type to vehemently refuse, but as soon as you give him even an ounce of that sulky attitude, he changes his tune and is in for whatever you want. Such a lover boy, honestly. It's getting on my nerves how fast I see him change his mind for you tbh. If you actually get mad I feel like he would go off the rails and in a frenzy get a bunch of costumes as revenge/malicious compliance? In short, he gets mad at you for being mad but does what you want anyway... Yeah.

He's so Gomez Addams coded, I'm sick! Also you guys as the power couple of the Addams family? Yes, puhhhlease!! It's insane how much y'all would rock that shit. Down and out winning the costume contest, for sure! But I also see him turning down the idea if he doesn't know the movie... In that case, I feel like even if he hasn't seen Scream he would be down to do Ghostface. Not only would you guys look hot but he doesn't have to wear different makeup and I feel like that's a win for him in his book.

Feelings were a fickle subject when it came to Wednesday Addams, despite growing up with two parents whom were blatantly enamoured with one another and didn’t seem to hold no shame in showing their love either. However just because she was the child of Gomez and Morticia didn’t exactly meant that their affiliations for love were an inheritable trait for her to have. However despite believing herself to be as emotionally dead as the dearly departed buried six feet under their own graves, you elicit reactions within Wednesday that made her believe that she was either sick or subsuming to an early death.

The fluttering within her stomach whenever you stood close by enough for her to manage to catch a whiff of what you were wearing that morning; Lavender and and body spray, she would note later on as she found herself burning away the midnight oil one night, describing the scent of an additional character to her novel. She would remove all traces of the character but she had soon found out that she had written so much dialogue between viper and this character; So much so that the plot portrays their coming together in joining forces as a chance of fate in solving the mystery. For Wednesday to remove your insert character from her novel would be to set herself back a couple of pages, possibly chapters, because your character suddenly became a vital part of her story out of the blue and she had already advanced so far with the story that it would just seem like wasted effort.

Another thing Wednesday would always be subconsciously reminded of in her moments of silent reprieve was the way in which her cheeks would heat up whenever you smiled, laughed or outwardly complimented her. She never once cared about what others thought about her nor her personality but it seemed that the moment you started to speak of her in such high praise, that’s when she began to feel herself crave your validation. Wednesday didn’t care how you did it but she just wanted you to praise her, compliment her to high heavens and no one else. She naturally hated how she craved something she openly voiced not caring about but yet here she was, acting the hypocrite just for your appraisal.

She even often found herself actively searching for you in the quad before classes like a puppy dog looking for it’s owner. It was pathetic but recently Wednesday observed that she seemed to go against her own code whenever you nearby. She hated being craved and stalked by others yet she was subconsciously doing the same thing to you but going about it within a more subtle manner; Such as keeping a seat saved for you in the classes that you share, going so far as to threaten bodily harm on fellow students in swapping jobs with her so that she could be with you during outreach day and last but not least, participating in the Poe Cup when and only when you were participating.

Enid had her suspicions that Wednesday had feelings for you but never dared to voice them until one day when she returned to her dorm to find Wednesday awkwardly standing there, picking at her chipped nail polish. Before the blonde could speak up, Wednesday beaten her to the punch by asking a question Enid never thought she’d ever hear her ask. “What…does it mean to like someone?” Enid wanted to scream Ophelia Hall down because her intuition about Wednesday had been right. However Enid knew she’d have to save the celebration for later as she had a friend to help in navigating her feelings, so she took a deep breath and sat herself down on her colourful bedding, smiling at her morbid dorm mate. “Who’s the lucky guy, girl and or person?”

The pair talked late into the night and by the time morning had came, Wednesday felt the overwhelming urge to rid herself from pining after you from afar and instead act upon her feelings. Unfortunately, due to her lack of experience within this field, she didn’t exactly know the best way to go about conveying her feelings towards you without potentially scaring you off into the arms of someone else. Who’d knew that the one thing that Wednesday couldn’t seem to comprehend was the fact that she had actual feelings other then disgust, dismay and the obvious morbidity? Wednesday definite didn’t and she was left perplexed at her desk, her head buried in her hands as she raked her nails down her face, leaving red marks in their wake as she attempted to find a possibility in where she could express her emotions that wouldn’t require so much effort being drawn from her.

This new sensation was thrilling to the young Addams as found herself brainstorming a thousand ideas a minute, a majority of which were crumpled up into wads of paper that were then discarded to the black metallic waste bin she kept beside her desk. None of them were good enough for you, she would tell herself the more she drove herself to sheer madness within the thicket of her research. It didn’t have to be perfect, it didn’t have to be a spectacle for others to bask in, overcrowding her moment with their attendance. It just has to be enough for you and to Wednesday by osmosis. However there was one minute detail that Wednesday seemed to have deemed unimportant or intentionally skimmed over due to it’s irrelevance in her grand scheme; Xavier Thorpe.

The boy clung to you like a babe does to their mother. His arm would permanently be seen over your shoulder, drawing you into his side as he spoke to the gorgon, Ajax. Wednesday also didn’t take into account how whenever she saved you seat in class, Xavier would immediately bolt for the spare seat beside yours as he began to animate the doodles on his sheet of paper, watching as they scampered up your arm and burrowed themselves into the collar of your shirt before eventually clambering back down and retreating into the blank sheet of paper once the teacher had entered the room. Even during the Poe Cup Xavier seemed to take it easier on you then compared to the rest of your team, even going so far as to giving you a head start.

Once Wednesday had achieved victory your team, instead of moping and complaining over his teams loss, Xavier only beamed at you with pride as you celebrated with Enid and Wednesday, whom you had slung your arms over the moment you three crossed the finish line; Smiling so widely and bright that he couldn’t help but engrave your happiness into his mind that would later be splayed out on that blank canvas later that evening. Xavier’s constant need to be by your side extended to school events such as Outreach day, where he’d peak over your shoulder at the job you had been given before scavenging the crowd for someone with a matching job and then sweet talking them into trading; Sometimes he -if lucky enough- would have been assigned to the same job as you through pure coincidence.

When the faithful day where Wednesday would finally confess to you finally came, her seemingly dead heart stopped when she caught sight of you and Xavier in the courtyard, standing closely together with his hands gingerly cusping your cheeks as you melt into his touch as though you were the candle wax to his flame; He was uttering sweet nothings and you were obviously moved by them as your hands instinctually reached to grab ahold of the lapels of his blazer, tugging at him in a silent plea for him to step closer despite being pressed up against you another as humanly possible. Xavier was thriving off of your reaction whilst Wednesday was trying to cast her gaze elsewhere but found herself forced to watch as the boy pressed his lips against yours.

Xavier’s golden brown locks acted as a curtain for the both of you as it fell from his shoulders and brushed against your cheek, hiding the fact that you were very much taken by his actions as your hands gripped his lapels tighter while his hands wandered to find home at your sides. That day Wednesday Addams understood what the sound a shattered heart makes.

They don't remember anything that happened, but they are sure that something happened and thinking that way they let all these years of repressed emotions flow with the force of a broken dam. Then it is revealed that nothing really happened, but now they desperately want something to happen, but they are between a cross and a sword because they need to think about how Wednesday and Enid stand in this situation.

Weems as Enid's adoptive mother is such a wonderful concept. Not just because Weems would be the best mother in the world and Enid would get all the love and care she deserves, but because Weems' past with the Addams would reflect on Enid's relationship with Wednesday in the most dramatic way possible. Can you imagine what it would be like for Weems to watch her daughter fall in love with Wednesday? To see Enid fall in love with the daughter of her two best friends in high school? The daughter of the two people she was once hopelessly in love with? And how would she react when she finds out that Wednesday feels the same way about her daughter? Unlike her parents, who never reciprocated Weems feelings — or so she believes. And what about family dinners? With Weems in the same room as Morticia and Gomez? The drama. The chaos. The angst.

Currently obssessed with this track because this is very Maiko coded. And by Maiko I mean Mai x Zuko from Avatar The Last Airbender. They are like the cutest underrated couple. And Mai is often misunderstood simply because Zuko once said she's 'a big blah'. Well, their loss. She's no hero, which makes her even more interesting. Hero and heroine are cliche and boring (I adore Katara and Aang to the moon and back but this is about Mai),so it's refreshing to see a female character who prioritize herself and her loved ones. you were nice, too, and pretty shy. thruth is, though, you liked gomez (or kinda) which helped you with being nice to him.

at first you didn't talk much other than your trivial conversations during botany class, which consisted on --- barely --- asking about what the teacher had said in a moment of distraction.
