Apparently, Beautiful, and Best Friend: Very sweet, shy, tender hearted brindle boy in need of a soft voice and a quiet, structured home where he can feel safe, loved, and thrive. TIMON OLUNTEEP Id 67422, 4 Yrs., 38 petite lbs., Dreaming of a family of his own, at Manhattan ACc TO BE KILLED 8/27/19 From Shy to Social, Smiley Boy Timon Wants to find His Forever Home! ~ Timon is a tiny little guy with big bat ears and a gentle heart, who craves a loving & quiet home and a family to love. He was found in the streets and brought to the shelter by police, a teeny, tiny petite little man of only 38 lbs who was frightened after his experience and only wanted to feel safe and loved. But the shelter is no place for sensitive souls with tender hearts, and a bravery deficit, so TIMON didn’t find the quiet, calm, “safe space” he had hoped for. He’s so incredibly adorable with his big bat ears, his white socks and his gorgeous tiger brindle coat. Add to that his big smile, or the way he sits so straight and tall, trying to project a courage he doesn’t feel as he tries to negotiate the Brooklyn Center. The volunteers do their best to give him comfort, always taking time to talk to him in a soft voice, snuggling with him on a bench, softly petting him and telling him not to worry – it will be ok. But it won’t be ok if no one picks this beautiful sweet boy. He needs an experienced foster or adopter who can give him the quiet space he will need to find his rudder. Can you help this little man out? Message our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance fostering or adopting him now. A volunteer writes: Hakuna Matata is not Timon's moto but it could be if he gets to move in with you, as your forever best friend. Timon is a handsome lad whose face and moves light up as he distances himself from the care center. He strolls beautifully, does his business, sits on command and respects small critters and other dogs. I was surprised to see that the noises and crowding of the park did not bother him. He seemed to feel like home. Timon got lots of compliments from passerby's. He is a unique Boroughbred I said! Still everyone was trying to take a guess about his mix. Maybe you will too? Timon is shy but after a while spent with him, he will jump on a bench near his caretaker and accept caresses. There is love at first sight and love that comes with trust and time. Timon is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center, dreaming to be his carefree self, in your hands! Volunteer Evelyne Cumps writes: Timon (67422) is a lightweight (37lbs) brindley 4 year old neutered male, a very elegant, healthy stray that was very shy upon arrival but opened up amazingly. He truly is a favorite of all here at the care center but for some reason has not caught the attention of the public. may be because he is such a quite mouse in his kennel. He is one pretty dog who could have some BT up his family tree. He was so shy in PG but now, he plays nicely with males and females in PG. he is a great walker, goes to the park, is fine with all its activities and noises, nears other pooches politely, sits, comes when called and is likely HT. His behavioral eval is level 3 as he was scared (although NEVER) aggressive upon arrival and for days. Staff, behav staff and vols have been working daily with him and Timon has really bloomed. He is waiting for his Pumba at the Manhattan Care Center! MY MOVIE: Timon, The Magnifique! https://youtu.be/ldDHl3QiJZo TIMON, ID# 67422, 4 yrs old, 38.6 lbs, Unaltered Male Manhattan ACC, Medium Mixed Breed, Brown Brindle / White Surrender Reason: Stray, brought by police Shelter Assessment Rating: NEW HOPE ONLY Medical Behavior Rating: BEHAVIOR NOTES Means of surrender (length of time in previous home): Stray Behavior toward strangers: A woman, living with dog, said he growls at her and snaps FOSTER BEHAVIOR NOTE Timon was with the foster and a 10 year old girl at the street came close to him, Timon jumped on her and scratched her. SHELTER ASSESSMENT SUMMARIES - Date of assessment: 30-Jun-2019 Leash Walking Strength and pulling: Moderate Reactivity to humans: None Reactivity to dogs: None Leash walking comments: None Sociability Loose in room (15-20 seconds): Fearful – avoids; tense; cowers Call over: No approach – nervous, tense Sociability comments: Body tense Handling Soft handling: Fearful Exuberant handling: Fearful Handling comments: Body tense, tail down, moves away when legs are touched Arousal Jog: Follows (body low) Arousal comments: None Knock: No response Knock Comments: None Toy: No response Toy comments: None PLAYGROUP NOTES - DOG TO DOG SUMMARIES: 7/1-7/3: When introduced off leash to the female greeter dog, Timon approaches, sniffs, and continues to follow while sniffing. He solicits play at times, but is more intent on following and sniffing. 7/5-7/15: Timon engages in bouncy play with a female dog. 7/16-PRESENT: Timon is playful in a group of male and female dogs. INTAKE BEHAVIOR: Date of intake: 28-Jun-2019 Summary: scared but warmed up MEDICAL BEHAVIOR: Date of initial: 28-Jun-2019 Summary: trembling, tense, fearful, allowed handling ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Timon so we cannot be certain of his behavior in a home environment. At the care center, he displays a medium level of activity. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS: Timon was initially fearful and uncomfortable with touch when he arrived at the care center. Through daily interactions with handlers and dogs in playgroup, Timon has become increasingly social and on 7/5-7/6 began soliciting attention from handlers. He will approach with soft body and wagging tail and when handlers pet him he will lean in. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: NEW HOPE ONLY Behavior Asilomar: TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations: No children (under 13) Recommendations comments: No children: Due to how uncomfortable Timon is currently with touch and novel stimuli, and that he was reported to growl and snap with the person he was staying with, we feel that an adult-only home would be most beneficial at this time. New Hope Rescue Only Potential challenges: Fearful/potential for defensive aggression. Potential challenges comments: Fearful/potential for defensive aggression: Timon was reported to growl and snap by the person he was staying with. At the care center, he has been very fearful. Please see handout on Fearful/potential for defensive aggression. Anaconda, Andrew Bogut, and Cats: Super Friendly Playful and Welcoming of all, Big & Small Dogs Kids and Cats Atlas ID#25459 s old, 59’1bs Very affectionate, Well mannered Boy. Ready to go home @ Manhattan ACC **** TO BE KILLED – 5/1/2018 **** Atlas is a Handsome Chocolate Rabbit <3 He is well behaved and welcoming and friendly to all – SMALL AND BIG DOGS, KIDS and CATS too! Please share sweet ATLAS for a loving home. A volunteer writes: Atlas…a big name for a chocolate rabbit!!! Atlas is a tall dog with bunny ears, handsomely dressed and with an engaging horsey face. He is strong, hence his name, but so perfectly manageable even by an older person like me. A good walker he is, likely house trained (as stated by his former owners) and very polite with all dogs neared, big and small, males and females. Atlas is very obedient and eager to please. He comes on the double when called and sits at once when asked for treats. He loves to eat and I must say that despite his very healthy looks, he could use a few more pounds. Atlas is super friendly and very affectionate. Ask him to hop on the bench and he will shower his caretaker with a waterfall of kisses. He is sooooo sweet! Atlas comes with the best credentials and is said to be friendly, playful and welcoming of all, including kids and…cats. I hope I have enticed you to come and meet wonderful Atlas who is sure to make your life as bright and happy as a summer day. He is waiting for you at the Manhattan Care Center. VIDEOS: https://youtu.be/5OaQAokMhXs https://youtu.be/GfcfWg_78_k Atlas ID# 25959 Manhattan ACC 4 yrs old, 59 lbs BROWN MALE Owner Surrender History: was surrendered by a friend of the owner who has had him for about a week; friend reports that the dog stepped on a piece of glass and now has a laceration on his LH; excessive bleeding was noted overnight but resolved with pressure bandage LARGE MIXED BREED CROSS Intake Date: 04-23-2018 SHELTER ASSESSMENT: EXPERIENCED HOME BEHAVIOR NOTES Date of intake: 22-Apr-2018 Spay/Neuter status: No Means of surrender (length of time in previous home): Owner Surrender Behavior toward strangers: Friendly and affectionate Behavior toward children: Friendly Behavior toward dogs: Good with them Behavior toward cats: Good with them Resource guarding: None reported Bite history: None reported Housetrained: Yes Energy level/descriptors: Altas is described as friendly, playful, and sweet with a high level of activity. SAFER SCORES: Date of assessment: 24-Apr-2018 Look: 1. Dog leans forward or jumps up to lick the Assessor's face with tail wagging, ears back and eyes averted. Sensitivity: 1. Dog leans into the Assessor, eyes soft or squinty, soft and loose body, open mouth. Tag: 1. Dog follows at the end of the leash, body soft. Paw squeeze 1: 1. Dog gently pulls back his/her paw. Paw squeeze 2: 1. Dog gently pulls back his/her paw. Flank squeeze 1: Item not conducted Flank squeeze 2: Item not conducted Toy: 1. Dog settles close, keeps a firm grip and is loose and wiggly. Dog does not place his/her body between you and the toy. Summary: Atlas quickly approached the assessor and jumped up in a social manner. He was social throughout the assessment, allowed all handling, and displayed no concerning behaviors. Summary: Based on history and observation, slow introductions are recommended between Atlas and respectful dogs. Summary (1): 4/24: When introduced off leash to the female greeter dog, Atlas engages in bouts of running play with some attempt to mount. Date of initial: 22-Apr-2018 Summary: Atlas allowed handling. ENERGY LEVEL: Atlas' previous owner described him as having a high level of activity. He is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep him engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct his energy and enthusiasm. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: EXPERIENCE (suitable for an adopter with some previous dog experience, especially with the behaviors outlined below) Potential challenges: Basic manners/poor impulse control Kennel presence Potential challenges comments: Basic manners/poor impulse control; Atlas jumps up a lot on people in a social manner. It is recommended that default behaviors such as "Leave it", "Sit/Stay", "Down" are reinforced to substitute any frustration and teach him to control his impulses instead of simply reacting; proper management is also advised. Force-free, reward based training only is recommended. Kennel presence: In his kennel, Atlas scratches and bites at the bars to get out. While we cannot be certain if this behavior will appear in any other contexts, in highly emotionally charged or stressful environments Atlas may show behavior similar to what he is currently demonstrating in his kennel. We recommend potential adopters be comfortable managing this behavior and keeping themselves safe in any similar future situations. ML X NSR AU Idea
(I am making some alternate changes to it because there is no real one for one Comparison to it)
-Marinette: Like Mayday, is super into rock and Roll. She is headstrong and wants to make sure Rock comes back. Being a massive fan of the Artist Mayura. She also has a Hobby of designing outfits (which is why She and Her bandmate constantly change outfits in each stage. (Marinette’s band is called Miraculous Mayhem) Marinette also briefly dated Jul, (Juleka taking Eve’s persona on that) So that dynamic is on Marinette.
-Adrien: Fills the ‘Zuke’ Role, but his backstory is different. He is actually a cyborg (a fact that he hides). He was meant to be part of the first iteration of 1010). His father had planned to make him the star of the band. But Adrien ran away. So his father then made ‘Perfect’ robot duplicates to be 1010. Gabriel goes by Neon G. (a play on Neon J). Adrien has a personal grudge against 1010 and Neon G, so he REALLY doesn't like them.
- DJ Subatomic Supernova: Its nino. He gets an air of pretentiousness after achieving his dream of being a DJ, but after a good a**Kicking, gets humbled and actually thanks MM (Miraculous Mayhem) for bringing him back to earth.
- Sayu: Max actually created Sayu. Ondine is her voice, Kim is the security that helps back her up.
- Manon: (Taking Yinu’s role, Nadja being the mom) More puppet imagery. but basically the same.
- Neon G, and 1010: Much like in NSR 1010 are a robot teen boyband. Though in this iteration, they recognize Adrien and Call him ‘Brother.’. Much to Marinette’s shock. Adrien tells them he doesn't WANT anything to do with his father’s twisted dream. Neon G, views Adrien (his actual son) as his biggest failure. And is trying to erase him. After beating them, Adrien breaks the screen face of Neon G, and tells him that he will deal with him personally later.
-Jul: (Eve’s role) Juleka briefly dated Marinette in College. Marinette had a creative eye and could See Jul, but Marinette realized she was getting sucked into Jul’s orbit and felt like she was losing herself in her love of Jul, and broke it off. Jul felt hurt by that. Marinette had moved on since then. Still respecting Jul as an artist, but they have a past. Jul believes Adrien stole her away and is clearly more hostile to him.
-Nathalie/ Mayura: The former rock star, now producer for EDM. Marinette idolized Mayura and finding out Nathalie was Mayura was a shock. Similar to the in game story.
(I dont know who DK west is, so I am open to ideas)

Apparently, Children, and Click: gloria ID# 67948 @ Manhattan ACC Glorla is a cute Ittle grey mouse who loves to be in company. She is al wiggly at her door, leashed in no time and ready for treats and fun. A little sweetheart in need of TLC as her past might not have been a "piece of cake" 5 yrs old 45 lbs TO BE KILLED 8/22/19 ~ Gray beauty Gloria is still here! How could you resist those ears! ~ A $500 stipend will be offered to the New Hope partner that pulls Gloria. Meet Gloria! This fun loving, social gal is looking for her forever family! A volunteer writes: Gloria is a cute little grey mouse who loves to be in company. She is all wiggly at her door, leashed in no time and ready for treats and fun. She can jump really high for liver bits, and sit, too. This will make training quite easy. Gloria is an enthusiastic walker, but being quite small and light, a gentle lead will just do the trick for a pleasant stroll. I was told that she was a sweetheart, and a stop by a bench showed me that she was a perfect girlfriend! Gloria needs TLC as her past might not have been a "piece of cake". Your caring and loving hands are what Gloria has been waiting all her life for. Come and meet her soon at the Manhattan Care Center! MY MOVIE: Gloria wants to be your friend https://youtu.be/H_QK2n7K0M0 GLORIA, ID# 67948, 5 yrs old, 45 lbs (34.4 lbs at Intake), Manhattan Animal Care Center, Medium Mixed Breed Cross, Gray Female, Found Stray Shelter Assessment Rating: LEVEL 3 No children (under 13) Medical Behavior Rating: BEHAVIOR NOTES Means of surrender (length of time in previous home): Stray Behavior toward strangers: finders report her as friendly Bite history: Yes - due to Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition. During an adoption interaction Gloria became excited and began mouthing the adopter. She jumped up and bit the adopter's hand, resulting in broken skin. SAFER ASSESSMENT: Date of assessment: 6-Jul-2019 Summary: Leash Walking Strength and pulling: Moderate Reactivity to humans: None Reactivity to dogs: None Leash walking comments: None Sociability Loose in room (15-20 seconds): Highly social Call over: Approaches readily Sociability comments: Body soft, jumps up gently Handling Soft handling: Seeks contact Exuberant handling: Seeks contact Handling comments: Body soft, jumps up, leans in Arousal Jog: Follows (loose) Arousal comments: None Knock: Approaches (loose) Knock Comments: None Toy: No response Toy comments: None PLAYGROUP NOTES - DOG TO DOG SUMMARIES: Due to arrival as a stray, Gloria's history around dogs is unknown. At the care center, Gloria was polite and calm when introduced to the helper dog. Most recently, she has appeared more tense and uncomfortable around other dogs. Future introductions and follow up around dogs may be best conducted outside of a shelter environment. 7/3: When introduced off leash to the male helper dog, Gloria greets politely. 7/7-10: Today, Gloria is tense and corners the other dogs. ENERGY LEVEL: We have no history on Gloria so we cannot be certain of her behavior in a home environment. However, she is a young, enthusiastic, social dog who will need daily mental and physical activity to keep her engaged and exercised. We recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and hide-and-seek games, in additional to physical exercise, to positively direct her energy and enthusiasm. IN SHELTER OBSERVATIONS: 8/12: Charges the kennel growling, baring teeth, and snaps repeatedly when approach in kennel. Once out of kennel, grabs leash in mouth. 8/4 Gloria was observed to growl, lunge, and snap towards a handler when he was attempting to remove her from her kennel. BEHAVIOR DETERMINATION: Level 3 Behavior Asilomar TM - Treatable-Manageable Recommendations: No children (under 13) Recommendations comments: No children: Gloria takes treats extremely hard and bites down on fingers by accident. She also becomes overly mouthy when excited to the point that she broke a skin on a person's hand. For these reasons, we recommend an adult only home. Potential challenges: Social hyperarousal Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition Bite history (human) Potential challenges comments: Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition: Gloria takes treats extremely enthusiastically and bites down very hard on fingers by accident when getting fed by hand. Treats should be tossed on the ground instead. She has also become mouthy when excited and bitten down with hard pressure, breaking skin on one occasion. Please see handout on Mouthiness/poor bite inhibition. Social hyperarousal: Gloria becomes very excited around people, jumping up and mouthing them. She has at times used hard pressure when mouthing. Anaconda, Beef, and Butt: Romeo ld 56356, 8 Yrs 75 lbs. of cuddles Manhattan ACC Easy. soft, snuggly. happy senio gentleman! A TOTAL JOY! TO BE KILLED 4/2/19 Handsome Romeo @MACC looking for his Juliet! Mellow Romeo is friendly and respectful around CATS and is friendly with small and larger dogs! We are certain that if we grabbed the old Webster’s Dictionary and looked up the word “Joy”, that Romeo’s picture would be there. In fact, we are certain that if we looked up “generous” or “good natured” or just the word “Love” itself, he would be there. Romeo is 8 years young, a big boy with an even bigger heart, who just wants to share it with everyone he meets. He loves nothing more than a lean in or a cuddle, a butt scritch or a hug. He pulls in everyone around him, a magnet for those who want to feel wanted, loved, important and special. Because ROMEO, true to his name, will make you feel like you are the center of the universe, or at the very least, the center of his world. With Romeo, you will always feel wanted, you will always feel loved, and you will ALWAYS feel important. Don’t wait another minute to add the man of your dreams to your everyday life and make it something truly special. MESSAGE our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance saving his life. A volunteer writes: Romeo,Romeo where forth art thou?...oh, there you are, snuggled against my leg and giving me head nudges! Nothing beats a sweet, smiley senior and this handsome redhead stands out in a crowd for more than just his cuddling abilities and good looks. He can be shy at first but once he warms up he's wonderfully social and loves people and other dogs, happily bouncing around in playgroup and enthusiastically greeting pups of all sizes when out for a walk. He seems very house trained and enjoys long strolls in the park and gently eating liver treats from my hand, though he did turn his nose up at my generic beef jerky. A gentleman (of Verona) has to maintain some standards! We're told Romeo was friendly and mellow in his previous home, getting along well with fellow dogs and even behaving respectfully toward cats. Come make Romeo's acquaintance for yourself and let him charm you too. Parting may be such sweet sorrow but we'll all be smiling the day Romeo says goodbye to the Care Center and hello to his new life as a beloved family pet. Being Alone, Andrew Bogut, and Apparently: Initially shy of strangers, an affectionate, playful, well mannered family pet with a STELLAR Resume, sits broken hearted & alone, dreaming of home.... Wakota ID 58188, 2 YRS. 68 LBS OF LOVE, WAITS WITH HOPE FOR A FAMILY TO LOVE HER. MANHATTAN ACC TO BE KILLED – 3/30/2019 Dakota waits and waits and waits….all she dreams of, all she thinks about, is going home. Rescued 2 months ago, after probably being either dumped by yet another family, her life has been one of constant change and disappointment. She put her whole heart into this last parent, making sure that she was perfect in every way – housetrained, crate trained, performing her commands just to see them smile. And she was certain that this time….finally….she’d found a parent who would stay. And then along came the pesky landlord and his “no pets” policy, and that was the end of Dakota’s dream. Now she sits again in a small kennel, her hopes dashed again, and it’s not going well. Do you blame her? Her heart shattered over and over, and yet she is barely 2 years old. This is not the dream of puppyhood! Curious and respectful around dogs, a STELLAR RESUME for one so young, we’d love to see Dakota finally loved the way she should have been loved since birth. Don’t let this poor pup down. Hurry and message our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance fostering or adopting Dakota so her dream of a family who stays can finally come true. Dakota, ID# 58188, 2 Yrs. Old, 68 lbs. Unaltered Female Manhattan ACC, Large Mixed Breed, Black / Brown Owner Surrender Reason: Landlord won’t allow Shelter Assessment Rating: New Hope Rescue Only Medical Behavior Rating: 5. Red AT RISK MEMO: Dakota has remained fearful in the care center and in her previous home environment; displaying signs of fearful aggression such as growling and barking at strangers and quickly becomes nervous during handling. Dakota would be best suited for placement with a new hope rescue partner that can provide gradual behavior modification. Medically, Dakota seems healthy. INTAKE NOTES – DATE OF INTAKE, 3/26/2019: Upon intake Dakota had a loose body and wagging tail. When first approached she hard barked but still a wagging tail and loose body. She allowed the counselor to leash her and walked well on the leash beside the counselor. She avoided pets and being collared so no further handling was attempted. OWNER SURRENDER NOTES – BASIC INFORMATION: Dakota is a roughly 2 year old large dog whom was rescued and kept for roughly 2 months. Unfortunately, due to landlord issues, she was unable to be kept. She previously lived with 1 adult. Around strangers she is described as reactive but will warm up after a few minutes. It was not observed how Dakota would behave around children. Around dogs she is described as curious and respectful. It was not observed how Dakota would behave around cats. Dakota h as no resource guarding issues and she has no bite history. She has a high energy level. Dakota is housetrained. She has never had any medical issues. Other Notes:: Dakota is described to bark often and destroys things in the home when left alone for too long. She isn't bothered with loud noises, being bathed, having her nails trimmed and being brushed. She will bark and growl when unfamiliar people approach her home or owner. She is afraid of being held but will warm up afterwards. For a New Family to Know: Dakota is described a affectionate, playful, shy, fearful and somewhat anxious. She enjoys playing with bones, does well in a crate for a few hours, was being free feeds dry food Merrick and is considered very house trained. She behaves well when left alone but when left for too long without being walked she will use the bathroom in the home and destroy house hold furniture. She knows the commands paw sit, down, come and inside when sending her inside of the crate. She was being walked 3x a day and pulls hard on leash. These dogs are not displaying concerning behaviors in shelter, and the owner surrender profile (where available) is positive. Some dogs with Level 1 determinations may still have potential challenges, but these are challenges that the behavior team believe can be handled by the majority of adopters. The potential challenges could include no young children, prefers to be the only dog, no dog parks, no cats, kennel presence, basic manners, low level fear and mild anxiety. Level 2 Dogs with Level 2 determinations will be suitable for adopters with some previous dog experience. They will have displayed behavior in the shelter (or have owner reported behavior) that requires some training, or is simply not suitable for an adopter with minimal experience. Dogs with a Level 2 determination may have multiple potential challenges and these may be presenting at differing levels of intensity, so careful consideration of the behavior notes will be required for counselling. Potential challenges at Level 2 include no young children, single pet home, resource guarding, on-leash reactivity, mouthiness, fear with potential for escalation, impulse control/arousal, anxiety and separation anxiety. Level 3 Dogs with Level 3 determinations will need to go to homes with experienced adopters, and the ACC strongly suggest that the adopter have prior experience with the challenges described and/or an understanding of the challenge and how to manage it safely in a home environment. In many cases, a trainer will be needed to manage and work on the behaviors safely in a home environment. It is likely that every dog with a Level 3 determination will have a behavior modification or training plan available to them from the behavior department that will go home with the adopters and be made available to the New Hope Partners for their fosters and adopters. Some of the challenges seen at Level 3 are also seen at Level 1 and Level 2, but when seen alongside a Level 3 determination can be assumed to be more severe. The potential challenges for Level 3 determinations include adult only home (no children under the age of 13), single pet home, resource guarding, on-leash reactivity with potential for redirection, mouthiness with pressure, potential escalation to threatening behavior, impulse control, arousal, anxiety, separation anxiety, bite history (human), bite history (dog) and bite history (other). New Hope Rescue Only Dog is not publicly adoptable. Prospective fosters or adopters need to fill out applications with New Hope Partner Rescues to save this dog.

Anaconda, Apple, and Bones: Channeling the Easter Bunny with her adorable ear set, she's a super sweet, chunky, lowrider dreaming of a family of her own! DARLING DESTINE יי Id 55076 2 Yrs.. Spayed and Wating for Cuddles & Hugs, Manhattan ACC TO BE KILLED - 2/26/2019 She’s so full of life. DESTINE is an adorable chunky lowrider with the biggest, brightest smile at the Manhattan Center. She simply adores people, and with those ears!!! It’s like she is channeling the Easter Bunny. We adore her rotund little body, her happy go lucky spirit and her never ending charm. Affectionate, cuddly, and oh so sweet, this wonderful youngster is waiting to light up someone’s life for the rest of hers. Don’t wait, hurry and foster or adopt her now. She’s spayed and ready to go! PM our page or email us at [email protected] for assistance. A volunteer writes: "Is that my new family I see?" No, wait Destine; I usually do this differently. Like this: Destine is seal brown, apple-headed, full figured gal in search of a food plan, and a new life. We met at Manhattan's ACC on a bright winter afternoon. I am a complete sucker for apple headed dogs, so not too much batting her eyes at me was needed to sell me on taking her out. "Are you sure?" Yes, Destine. Let me tell everyone how we passed our time. "Okay..." We went out into the pen, and Destine made a preliminary search of the perimeter but is quite happy to sit right there, velcroed to your legs (um, too hefty for the bench), and happily, on a chilly day, be a foot warmer, using my size nines as a couch. Watching the birds, volunteers and staff was just fine for her. Destine appreciated the "go slow" hang out, to sit, and think, and be. "Because, I think I see someone!" That's the idea, love.
