[To clarify: In his Shakespearean insult, Rafal is now referencing the mythological, Roman god Vulcan, not Vulcan of Netherwood.]

Rhian: Well, you're a raging egomaniac, for someone who thinks himself the finest puppetmaster in the Woods despite being inadequate when set next to me.

Rafal: As if you're not one. And such language from the so-called Ever. Dean 'Headache' would blush.

Rhian: All right, let's say I descend to your wretched level, if only to vanquish you: you left me in the Doom Room, to rot!

Rafal: If you weren't a traitorous snake, I wouldn't have left you. Besides, you went behind my back to the Kingdom Council to frame me! To launch a war campaign against me without a jot of forewarning. I should have done worse while you were still vulnerable, hanging there, numb.

Rhian: And yet, I overheard you say to Midas that your aim was to take over all the Woods? What say you to that, devil brother? If I win and take over, I'll string you up by your vocal chords.

Rafal: [derisively] That's anatomically impossible. You're new at this, aren't you?

[Rhian lunges for Rafal, and they get into an all-out duel to the death, executing remarkable feats of arms, considering the pitiful weapons they're armed with.]

[They are black and blue, battered and bruised all over, sustaining minor cuts, each gasping for his breath, and they are seated on chairs, beside one another.]

Rafal: I should've brought my poleaxe, or even a halberd, so I could fracture your skull properly. Strike out the brains and dash them on the floor. [shakes his head.] Would've been great fun to ram a longsword through your ribcage, too, had I brought it along. [He twists his letter opener around idly.] This meager, little thing isn't suited for thrusting; it barely did any damage.

Rhian: [nursing a long, open slice on his forearm] I think you did enough with that letter opener. [He sheathes his dagger.] Though, someone should've died, even if you failed to shear me in two. What gives. What's the matter with us?

Rafal: [glances over at the Storian] Looks like someone or some thing wants us alive to provide the entertainment. I'm not opposed to trying again though. Why don't we? I'd love to rip out your heart. It's not as if it's getting regular use anyway.

Rhian: And I wish to wreak the same harm upon you, with your tongue besides. I hate hearing that grating voice. So monotonous. You could be a punishment for others in Hell where you belong. Your lectures are torture enough.

Rafal: Well, you won't have to hear me much longer. Not that you ever listen. Your dismembered ears will make excellent trophies of war. I could have them plated with gold—gold on the outside, rot on the inside, just like your tainted soul. [He smiles to himself, satisfied, and then, fishes through his jacket pocket and finds a long piece of thread in a clump, trying to untie it, so he can use it to garrot Rhian, or at the very least, choke him effectively enough.]

Rhian: And I'm sure your bones would make a lovely tea set, once they're pulverized. [Rhian reaches over to clock Rafal upside the head with a book.]

Rafal: [leans out of reach, rolling his eyes] Child's play. [He shoves Rhian off his chair and that devolves into a second fistfight on the floor, more vicious than the first, in an all-out brawl as they forgo all dignity.]

Rhian: At least I have HONOR! [he bellows to stall Rafal, while attempting to summon his dragonfire.] I'll scorch you like I would a snowman!

Rafal: [raising his voice as he throttles Rhian in the neck, punctuating every sentence with a punch] You? Honor? You're the least honorable man I know. At least my Evil's out in the open, for all to see. Everyone knows I use underhanded means. Everyone knows I'm a two-faced backstabber. And they rightly take precaution and obey me. [spoken through his teeth with a clenched jaw.] My Evil's a publicly-acknowledged fact. Can't say the same about you, you who went to the Kingdom Council, who indelicately skirts around Ever customs despite claiming to be one. Which makes me the "honorable" one, by your twisted definition.

Rhian: How dare you— [as he rakes his nails across Rafal's face, drawing blood that clots immediately due to their self-healing, as per the original oath, leaving shallow, stinging wounds that knit themselves right up.] I will outlast you!

[Don't ask me how they can still heal despite breaking their oaths. The Storian derives sick entertainment from mindless repetition and senseless, brutish violence. That's why.]

[And, the Storian doesn't bother to write because this is a regular occurrence with two Evil twins—it's unworthy of a tale, infighting not balance. And so, the Pen just watches and waits and watches...]

And hilariously, it is an AU based on Restart, so it'll have Allani and her banter with Narinder. At least I hope it'd be good banter.

And it might be because I watched the movie Emma. And because it was the time of the year to watch Pride and Prejudice, and Sense and Sensibility.

Bishops: Royal family of the Lands of the Old Faith, each sibling has a title

Shamura: the ruler, obvs

Narinder: doesn't flex his title or royal family status and just wants to do his own thing, which gets him estranged from the others because they see him as shirking his duties. He's only on good terms with Leshy and they visit each other on occasion, causing rumors that they're conspiring against Shamura

Ratau: mayor, retired military officer, owns a shipping company with Ratoo

Ratoo: retired naval officer, usually out on voyages with The Goods™, not sure if I'd have his fiancée lost to sea/drowning incident or have her in town because they deserve a happy ending

Baal and Aym: learning magic and combat from Ratau (and sometimes Ratoo when he pops up)

Forneus: owner of the local inn

Lamb (I'll be honest, it's Allani from Restart): adopted daughter of Ratau, he found her during a campaign in which her hometown was razed, there were a few other survivors who joined his town, also learning how to magic and combat from Ratau

Hauron: another survivor and adopted son of Ratau, super protective cousin of Allani

Rakshasha and the missus: work in Forneus' kitchen? Or should they work in Narinder's kitchen idk

Plimbo: another employee of Ratau and Ratoo, always complaining about his MIL visiting him and his wife every other week

Midas: that guy who owns super decked out place and has parties all the time, and MAYBE some out-of-towners go missing after, and MAYBE he has a few new sculptures in their likenesses after, but no one asks questions

So Narinder might be this mysterious gentleman who just moved into the big house down the street, whatever, no big deal, sounds like he's been Ratau and Ratoo's benefactor and is finally showing his face etc.

Narinder comes by to discuss business matters with the Rat brothers when she runs into him and goes "excuse me you aren't even gonna apologize?" when he acts all "ugh you messed up my coat"

Meanwhile Ratau in the background shaking his head and silently mouthing "NO STOP"

Narinder decides he does need some employees to care for his home and hires Allani, Hauron, the Twins, and other townspeople

Cue verbal sparring as Allani challenges the fuck out of Narinder and his life choices or something while he thinks he can whittle her down

Hauron is super overprotective, is like "I don't like that rich character" and tries to set her up with other townspeople/whoever, much to her annoyance, Narinder's entertainment, and eventually, his growing jealousy

Especially like "also he's of a higher standing than we are, it's foolish to think that you'd have a chance with him or that he'd have genuine affection for you, sorry fam but he'd def want to marry into similar status because $" not knowing he's got the royal family's wallet in his pocket

Shamura and family still care for him, it's just most of them think he's an idiot for just wanting to fuck around and not be responsible and will happily welcome him back once he decides he does want to do his duties

I can't wait for interactions like this:

Leshy: I heard you have a maid gf

Narinder: spits out camellia tea

Allani: pours more tea on Narinder in shock while yelling at Leshy EXCUSE ME?

I wonder if Narinder should use another name because not everyone knows or needs to know he's royalty. Would be fun to use names for the afterlife/death deities. Asphodel, Akert, Amenthes, Mitnal, Kur, whatever else. Leaning on Asphodel or Amenthes.

this is a toughie is the thing. while im not one of those creators thats terrified of being offensive or problematic, i also dont pay that much attention to elements of work that might offend. im more interested in being genuine and trusting my message rather than relishing in having #problematique content.

that being said i think a lot of people would not like that sicely isnt a g*ld st*r lesbian or that lucerne doesnt use labels, bc twitter is really hung up on what characters "really" are or what stories "really" mean.

i think theyd also do that thing where theyd be like ugh look at these children currently in abusive situations why are they not acting 100% perfectly, the author clearly has no idea what theyre doing with portraying abuse, this is just torture porn and fetishizing ptsd/osddid. bc theres no way that the things that happen in CW could ever happen to people, bc abuse happens to other people and never in anything i might have to interact with.

20.) your ocverse just got a movie trilogy a la hunger games style. how have they horribly mangled your message/theme so that the movies are now a showcase of what the original was condemning?

This ones also a toughie actually bc a large part in why the hunger games movies contributed to showcasing what the original work condemned is because the media circus and bloodsports as vapid entertainment were directly being condemned in the original and #Media isnt really a huge part of carousel waltz. i think in order to really turn carousel waltz on its head youd have to be simultaneously very victim-blamey to the children but also prop up the adults as the ones who must "save them", bc children cant do anything on their own and cant be trusted to have legitimate grievances with the adults in their lives. flattening midas into either a villain who never cared about the people he abused or apologizing for him as a well-meaning patriarch who was just led astray and by proxy flattening the abuse into depictions more palatable to the wider consumer audience would do it i think.

but i dont know if it being a movie trilogy would necessarily cause those changes to occur-- movies are visual and sequential like comics but usually have to be 2 hours or less and are overwhelmingly held hostage at the whims of distributors, executive boards, investors, etc. so the influences it would have over carousel waltz would be along those lines. i think that with the time crunch it'd probably be really easy to make the story less subtle, and to have to hammer home points. certain characters necessarily would not have as much screentime and focus in a movie trilogy, which i think WOULD contribute to being an example of what im trying to condemn, and a movie might inadvertently say that some abused children are just collateral damage and we can move past them, some abused children dont have interiority or anything to draw attention to them, some abused children are more important or worth rescuing more. its also very important to me that most of the carousel waltz kids r not white, and that the grownups are, but casting would probably whitewash them or try to make the story colorblind instead of keeping in how midas' abuse takes advantage of his identity of whiteness over them. combine this w the idea that there needs to be adults to save these kids and u get a white savior araceli. if this concept makes you want to gnaw your leg off at the ankle to get the shackle off, that just means youre still human! try to hold onto that feeling.

since magical girl isnt a big genre in the west theyd try to reflavor it as some other thing like superheroes or a dnd party or something. or theyd want to age up the kids so the bad things happen to a more acceptable age group bc the idea that kids might have bad things happen to them is a scary thought so theyd completely miss the point abt it being a story abt child abuse and now its a buncha late teens-early 20s bullshit.

I need answers, provided and actual information to what I need. This is about why did "Yandev add Mida in the game?"

"Does Yandev actually likes/is okay with teacher and student relationship, so that's why he added Mida falling in love with Taro?"

The reason why I need actual information about these is because I'm not quite sure abt what people said is true smth like "The reason why dev added Mida was because he's absolutely fine with pedophile!" I support Yandev and I wanna make sure that those accusations of why Mida is in the game is false and needs actually factual check information. Can you please help me in this?

I'm not sure how much actual information there is on the topic, its not like he's directly answered that specific question and I'm not YandereDev. But we can make some educated guesses. If that's not what you're looking for, maybe send him an email? What I can tell you for certain is that he's not "fine with pedophilia", that rumor came about as a result of someone deliberately baiting him into saying something controversial and then twisting his words to defame him. Anyway - on the topic of Yandere Simulator.

You've probably noticed that most if not all rivals fulfill a certain trope or archetype. The tsundere (Osana) the genki girl (Asu) the himedere (Kizana) the Mary Sue (Megami) etc. As far as I can tell, Mida is simply one of these tropes. A box you have to check off when making a campy dating sim. Because that's what the game is meant to look like from Senpai's perspective, and to the player before shit turns into a horror game. That, or YandereDev came up with a cool elimination method that could only be done on a teacher, and that's why one of the rivals is a teacher. He's stated that this is sometimes his inspiration for certain rivals, and I believe this to be the case for Kizana due to her future sandbag elimination that he's alluded to and had art drawn of.

But with that argument comes the question of why Mida specifically is so sexualized. I don't know for sure; no one does. That's why she's such a touchy subject. Perhaps because we were missing a sexy rival. I do know that a lot of the discourse is done in bad faith. If Mida were a really sexy student instead of a really sexy teacher, people would still call YandereDev a pedophile for sexualizing someone who's "clearly meant to be a middle/high school student." So then you could argue that the entire cast should be wholly sexless. Another win for purity culture! "Snuff out the unclean! Anything and everything sexy is bad! Protect the children! By the way, trans people are just sexually deviant, right?" Do you see the problem?

Anon just remember that at the end of the day, Yandere Simulator is fiction. Creating or playing it says nothing about the individual interacting with it. It is a story created to entertain, not to be morally hyperanalyzed. And it'll probably make more sense once we actually have the full story. So don't worry too much about it. Also this is the first I've heard of anything regarding P4 inspiring the game. No idea what that's about.

Questions I have for C Control

I remember that I think a while ago, I said I'd make a post with questions I had for C Control, since personally, certain parts slightly confused me, and I came out having questions I wished the creators would've answered...So, here's that post :3

(Not sure who would need this post, but I guess I'm really just doing this for fun lol)

(Also note that really all of these questions are about Masakaki and the Midas Bank(what can I say? They're very mysterious 🤭))

-How and when were the districts made?

-What's the point for all of the districts anyway?

-Who exactly is Midas? Or, the person we saw at the end of the anime in robes?

-How were Masakaki and his 'clones' created? Why were they created?

-I just wonder, what would Masakaki do if there were several entres that needed his help at once? Would he be able to clone himself? (As if there weren't already enough Masakakis, haha...)

-What happens to the representatives when their district is destroyed? Do they also die along with it??

-So, if the Midas Bank and the representatives have likely been around for centuries, then surely the district's architecture and the bankers' clothes must've changed depending on the time period, right??? (If so, then I wonder where the bankers got all their clothes from...)

-Another question I came up with to entertain myself: I wonder how the bankers would interact with modern technology? 🤔

-Hypothetically, what would happen if the Midas Bank were to get rid of everything? Get rid of every country, every continent...Can that even happen? What would happen to the Midas Bank then?

-Other than having their districts destroyed, can the representatives die? For example, if a piano were to be dropped on them, would they die from that or would they just...Come back??

For this project I have decided to explore the process of animations made specifically with motion capture software.The aim of this project is to gain understanding and skills in this area, such as how to use motion capture software with rigged skeletons and implementing this into unreal engine to be used in a game. I will also be looking into different motion capture software to see how they work differently and what would be better to use. This also means i'll be looking at what software produces the best skeleton that is most compatible with other skeletal rigs

My concept is a game that uses motion capture from a kinect using the product to be animations for a non built game even though i have not made a game for this the animations are going to revolve around that idea - For the project i plan to develop motion capture, To produce a technical showroom that uses the unreal engines render program, My theme - The animation showroom will focus on human movement and interaction, the animations will incorporate movements inspired by The film Indiana jones, this also takes inspiration from military and combat situations like reloading, shooting even just the looks, i plan to create a minimum of 10 fully animated and rigged assets - the based game that will influence this is going to be zombie themed from the using of items or the interactions

Piper, Jason, Leo are besties no duh. Jason and Leo are more intimately tied because of their places in the prophecy and Piper's the most suspicious due to eventual charmspeak immunity... It's a natural split but of course, Piper and Leo still have wilderness tying them together, and Piper and Jason... Idk lol, nothing much yet :)

MEDEA

Piper doesn't care for Medea at all. Finds the woman untrustworthy and wants to ignore everything she says. Still, fears her because her powers are unknown. Piper also hates charmspeak too, and Medea's is so natural that she hates Medea. 🤔 On the flip side, Medea thinks Piper is a silly child but understands her role as Piper's main teacher :) She doesn't lie to any of the kids, and is well aware of Piper's distrust

There's an aside where Medea was Jane (Tristan's assistant) and this makes Piper falter, but idk, that's just such a funny thing to think about. Idk where I am with that

Jason trusts Medea the most. He doesn't really have a choice with charmspeak and her general mothering. Medea often thinks about Jason as her Jason (Argo Jason) and is a little sweet on him 🤔 As established, the only one she really calls by name

Leo and Medea don't interact much, but generally agreeable and trustworthy. Leo mostly listens to Piper's doubts and is like "ok sure, I don't trust her too but like, what's the other option?"

Medea kinda takes the place of Hedge? Or Chiron? She interacts with them the most

GAEA

Gaea is more tied to Leo than the others :) cuz duh prophecy, fated to kill her

Using the mirror technique in MoA (Gaea talks to Leo thru a bronze mirror) Gaea and Leo chat occasionally. I would say Gaea is more mothering to convince him, but Leo wouldn't care too much. He believes her though, because of how she presents her side of everything

Gaea and Piper don't talk much

Gaea and Jason don't talk much either

MELLIE!!!!!! 🥳💗

Stealing from my soul eater au with how Mellie operates. She and other nature spirits have little allegiance to either side, but they tend to lean to mother earth

She and Jason are the ones put together because she teaches him some air abilities!!!! :) She likes the kids very much and they all like her back :D

Piper DOES trust Mellie because of Mellie's neutrality. It's amusing to me because Mellie's answers to Piper's questions are usually more wishy-washy than Medea's 😭 But they are great!!!

😀 When the Lost Trio eventually head over to the other side (annabeth + co), Mellie follows them :) She is so helpful and awesome

Those are like, the 3 big ones 🤔 Their personal mentors and mothers and whatnot. Technically, Leo's mentors are Ma Gasket and the other cyclops, as Jason's was SUPPOSED to be Aeolus. Other ones I can think of:

Khione is there because... Idk for fun 😭 she and Piper bicker a lot. Sisters tho fr, through mutual dislike of Medea. She and Leo bicker a lot, general fire/ice dichotomy, it's not that deep. Jason doesn't like being around her, thinks she's too callous. All three of them think she's pretentious and snobby in general. Drew-esque

Cal and Z pop up again later to help train yeah. They're idiots. Cal and Leo are friends but Leo might just be making fun of him. Piper likes Cal but not Z. Jason doesn't give either of them his attention 😭

Midas + Lit are there, they just want to see the trio fight to the death all the time. Lit has this made up rivalry with Jason that Jason entertains but couldn't care less. Piper finds them funny but generally keeps away because Midas keeps forgetting he has the gold touch. Leo hates training, and thinks Lit is stuck up (he is)

Dylan is there. He's so Dylan like. He and Jason piss each other off, because Dylan thinks Jason doesn't deserve the attention, and Jason just thinks Dylan is an asshole. Leo and Dylan don't get along because Leo keeps pranking him with Cal + Z. Also Dylan keeps bringing up Wilderness memories. Piper has never liked Dylan and this won't change, but they have a mutual understanding

Hera is still trapped. None of the trio trust her when they meet 👍

Despite the fact that Piper is the most suspicious, she's also the one who leads things. Jason and Leo follow her. 🤔 Idk if this came from the soul eater au or just Nina's art but I like it 😂👍 Sometimes it feels like Piper is actually leading the story and the other two are doing mini games in the back 😭

Eventually Piper and Annabeth are at odds and then come to trust each other but that's WAYYYY down the line :) Reyna also plays into this :)

Medea and Mellie aren't fond of each other. They go back and forth about the kids sometimes, but ultimately the heir archy is still Mellie → Medea → Gaea. But also Medea and Khione aren't fond of each other, but that's because Medea thinks Khione is a brat

The "kids" is obviously the lost trio, but it also extends to Khione, Cal, Z, Lit, Dylan and other random people who come and go. The only ones that comes to mind rn is Clovis and Calypso, sorry 😭 Lit doesn't really mess with them too much tho, but he's there. On their occasional missions to loot the camps, it's usually the lost trio paired up with cal + z + dylan. They typically stick with the 3 members for a reason. Sometimes Khione goes but she rarely listens to the quest leader. Running gag and frustration that anytime they go out, she disappears halfway through. Plus she thinks she's too good for them 😭 debatable

Ultimately it is though, Mellie, Gaea, and Medea playing the biggest roles :) for the most part everything is like:

[ HALEY LU RICHARDSON, CISWOMAN, SHE/HER ] shh ! AISLIN WALSH, the TWENTY-ONE  year old SECOND year FILM & PHILOSOPHY major from WATERFORD IRELAND, is known as a SAPPHIRE around here. A Very Brief History:

Aislin grew up a very wild child, which her parents did not like at all. They chose to pay more attention to her brother who muted himself for their approval, and followed them blindly. She took solace in books, and making her own little movies or music videos with her friends. Think of those cringey MVs made by seventh graders. Very imaginative as a child as she spent a lot of time alone. She learned how to entertain herself no matter the occasion, and played a lot with the nannies, maids, gardeners, and cooks on their estate. 

She comes from old money, as the Walsh’s own a long line of car manufacturers throughout the Republic of Ireland and the United Kingdom. Her family praises her older brother for being responsible for getting a deal to import their cars to the US and asia. He was also a member of the society, and her parents never expected Aislin to be invited to join. Especially her mother who doesn’t believe her interest in Film and Philosophy isn’t attractive for a “young elite”

“Talk less, smile more.” ( shoutout to hamilton ) a phrase she commonly heard as she always has a million thoughts running through her mind. Each one she deemed important. There was so much to the world she didn’t understand, and had yet to see. It’s what made her so passionate about exploring it through film. To insert her own philosophy and start discussions around whatever thought was plaguing her the most. But her mother wished she would just shut up and let important people feel important.

The lack of attention from her parents made her a strong people pleaser. Searching for the approval she didn’t get from home no matter how hard she tried. She’s always there to lend a helping hand no matter how late, will be the ear someone needs and offer her best advice. Believes that her loyalty and devotion will earn her the love she so often felt she didn’t receive from her parents. Aislin knows what it’s like to feel neglected and like she’s not being paid attention to and she never wants people to feel that way so she showers everyone in the love she wishes her parents will show to her.

Aislin has a mind for wonder, and an imagination that knows no bounds because she can’t do the things she watches the protagonists she writes do. It’s her only form of escape from her life and she wishes she could live freely as her protagonists do but watching them in films would have to be enough. A passion that shows through as she as three award winning short films she’s known around the film community for. Those films being: “For the Love of a Daughter”, “The Problem with a Promise”,  and “The Ways in Which Footprints Lie”.

Personality:

She puts others before herself always no matter the situation. She isn’t a prideful person, so she’s typically the first to apologize whenever any sign of conflict arises even if she wasn’t the reason the conflict started.

 It’s really hard for her to stand up for herself, and will usually just allow people to take advantage of her or walk all over her. She’s scared of disappointing people so she does her best to keep the peace at all times. 

Aislin wishes to be selfish, and put herself first but can’t bring herself to do it. So she takes out her wishes through her works. Her protagonists are always free spirited, strong willed, and openly opinionated because she feels like she can’t be.

She romanticizes every aspect of her life, and tries to find joy in the little things. She’s quick on her feet, and performs well under pressure.  Also tries her best to give everyone she meets the benefit of the doubt even if they come with their fair share of bad interactions. Even if they treat her poorly she tries to find the good in them.

Wanted Connections:

her muse. this person is someone she longs to be like. they inspire her most ambitious of characters because of how selfishly and carefree they’re able to live. she notices how they put their wants first without showing shame, and aislin tries to mimic their speech, and the way they interact with others but she always folds. she wants to be close to this person in hopes their habits will rub off on her. she’s afraid to ask how they got so assertive because she doesn’t want them to pity her or be annoyed but they’re remain a dream to her all the same.

the one that got away. it’s aislin’s fault these two didn’t work out. she couldn’t get out of her own head. they weren’t ever a couple but this muse was very sweet on her, and aislin wasn’t use to that. she was constantly thinking it was only a matter time before she disappointed them. she was hot then cold, clingy then distant and it made her feels seem like mixed signals. this muse could only take so much and eventually stopped pursuing her all together. something aislin knew was coming yet couldn’t bring herself to stop.

her comfort crowd. this could definitely be a few muses ! these people would be her group of don’t ask don’t tell. they’d have their own code, and hold each other secrets to their heart and take them to the grave. they all have access to each other’s places, know their favorite foods, and spend all night sharing secrets, reciting dreams, and being their most authentic selves. in the days that follow their stress relief they don’t speak of that night, pretending like it didn’t happen until they need another night like it again.

her midas touch. this person manages to always get her out of her comfort zone, and do things she normally wouldn’t for herself. they can see the way she struggles with doing for others and doing for herself and want them to choose herself. they sometimes get into arguments over it because no matter how many steps she takes forward she always ends right back treating others in the way she should treat herself.

her skeptic. this person thinks her treat people with kindness attitude is nothing but an act. they believe she’s working some kind of angle, whether it be within the society, her department, her inner circle, etc. they just don’t trust the way she acts. fully believing there’s more to her sweet persona than meets the eye.

Wrestlers to Push

I know - but aren't they already the tag champions how could they get any better? FTR are so good I made an entire catagory which effectively dismantles the tag division because it's clear nobody can, should, or will be capable, of beating these two anytime between now and in 2021. Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are essentially one pick because these two will never go singles and should never be booked as such. Let their reign be long and AEW as a whole will prosper. Also try to book them as heels but not to resort to heel tactics to win every match because sometimes being dominant makes the belts worth far more.

One of the most impactful and natural talkers in his short time in AEW - everything he says has bite. He's also unique. He's going to fight dirty but he's also hard to dislike - there are just so many layers of complexity to the Mad King and the best is how people will immediately disregard him until he does something and then can't look away - this is the guy who will get new fans into the product. He's a throwback, a trendsetter, and an easy prospect all in one.

The reliable hand of AEW by far - the guy's been a mainstay throughout the year and, critically, not ex-WWE. Deserves his due. This recommendation could of gone to so many people throughout the year - Jungle Boy, Sammy Guevara, Penta El Zero M, Rey Fenix, but for one reason or another they all fail the test because of being injury-prone or getting into issues or just not ready. Stop his 50-50 booking and give him vital wins over big names.

Again I know - this guy is mega-pushed? I want to clarify something. Never de-push MJF - he's a prodigy who is already great and is going to get greater as he's cultivated. The guy doesn't need to be a star because he makes stars out of everyone he's been interacting with and yet even when elevated MJF continues to surpass them without much effort. Put him with FTR and you're going to have a reason to get rid of every other faction fast.

One of the unluckiest/luckiest men in AEW - his career has remained dorment post-Feb but pre-Feb was ace. Pac will tear up NJPW if given the chance to migrate over upon finding out his place in AEW is not as a top guy - you're easily looking at a guy who can be everything in AEW like a Prince Devitt or a AJ Styles or a Will Ospreay. When he returns you push this guy to the moon - I hope his look is even more goblinesque and PAC becomes the surprise 4th member to MJF and FTR.

Sometimes you need a good storyteller and you need people who are as good talking as they are wrestling. A complete package and a rising star who is also relatively new in AEW. Highly adaptable and versatile, AEW could pretty much give him anything and he'll turn it into gold - the Midas mouth of Ricky Starks is another way to get people into the company fast. I don't see him winning titles but I see him beating every non-title individual between now and next September. I feel like Taz should let Starks promote himself and be entertaining on his terms instead of over-promoting him. Pace his push and he'll gradually gain greatness.

Speaking of great talkers look who improved the most since the beginning of AEW. Only soured by her feud with Big Swole, Britt Baker is the embodiment of taking comedy heel to serious heights - her matches with Hikaru Shida are indications of just why she is tough and enduring as much as her behaviour is endearing. I could include her in the faction with FTR, MJF, and PAC as DMD. She just needs to improve a little and add a few moves in and she's AEW Women's World Champion bound.

Untapped potential - incredibly cool and has a story waiting to be told based on her association with the resident losers of AEW - make her somehow win by their (accidental) interference. Also please showcase her cosplay and more awoken side of being a bigger nerd than the two she manages - Leva is someone who heals all the wrongs of watching TV and her presence is always welcome. Everyone loves Leva Bates. You love her. I love her. What a woman. Heroic. Shapeshifter.

By contrast, her untapped potential is less about the entertaining side of pro wrestling and more the sports athleticism of pro wrestling - Serena Deeb is the most deserving woman in wrestling right now - of all the new signings or fresh faces there's someone who is genuinely eye-catching without having to be all about sex appeal or the gimmick. In other words I find her to be a future champion in the making and will make everyone she wrestles better off in defeat.

Ah see not everyone is an active wrestler to recommend! Taz is a fantastic personality, commentator, manager, and just about the jack-of-all-trades man you need him to be to support a product as big as AEW. I couldn't believe how well he gels with Tony Schiavone, JR, Excalibur, Jericho, Ricky Starks, Brian Cage, Darby Allin, Jake Roberts, Eddie Kingston, etc...it goes on and on and on. A hard working man - he's adapted and evolved from an underdog to a true legend.
