After my last post, something light

If Lily and Sydney did have a baby, the names I thought of would be: For a girl, they'd call her Eva (unoriginal idea in this fandom, but it's sweet to think of Lily trying to honour her grandmother this way) For a boy, they'd call him Antony (I like the name, it's pretty cute). I think because of how little of demon blood Nero and Lilium have (being quarter-demons), their baby would either have a slither of magic from Sydney's side or Sparda's bloodline's demonic power, but genetics would cause them to perhaps either resemble Eva in some way (perhaps with blonde hair) or resembles Sydney's family more (with crimson-red hair). The eyes would either be blue, brown or green. Blue could come from Sparda's genetics, green comes from both Eva and Sydney's side of the family (because Jack is her biological nephew/adopted son and has green eyes) and the brown could come from Sydney and her dad's gene pool. Can decide later but since canon lore for me is Sydney dies, the headcanon can be sorted elsewhere. And if Lily's adopted dads come back from their captivity, I can imagine them both just bawling like "we couldn't have our own child, Lily was a miracle to us and now we're grandparents!" Also funny to think of Lily turning up to Devil May Cry first and showing Dante his great-niece/nephew like "guess who's a great uncle?" Old man better be bawling, look at your bloodline extending! Such innocence! You're not just an uncle but a great-uncle! Then Lily would begrudgingly go to Fortuna (after DMC4 events since this would be a headcanon where Sydney and the baby lives) and be like "Nero, get your sodden ass out here now, you're an uncle- KYRIE, HIIIII. Look, bubba, it's Aunt Kyrie, say hi!" Lily would absolutely teach kid!Eva/kid!Antony to terrorise Nero and would ABSOLUTELY let them get away with it if he brought it up to her "C'mon, big bro, she's/he's just a kid. Maybe you haven't been nice enough to them? They behave fine around Kyrie and Nico!" Happy family stuff :3

Reading a fanfic where the mc's wife is pregnant and thinking "awww, man, imagine Lily and Sydney as parents-" Then remembering i'm the bastard that made Sydney infertile due to a family curse. And Lily is somewhat afraid of pregnancy not only because she's afraid of the changes that will happen to her body but also because she's afraid of bringing children into a world where everytime she thinks she's free of pain, someone dies or something happens. Like listen, one thing i've considered is giving Lily powers from her adopted papa. He gave her blood, transferred his blood to her as a child to save her life when she was gonna bleed out from when theyd found her in the cells after being tortured for years and because of that blood transfusion, she gained some of his powers, including transformations. So I imagine she can change forms or alter her form, aka girldick Lily but with a pussy in place of balls like dual-gendered shit still, she's not THAT powerful to change fully. Just cause yk I like imagining her like that idk and imagining she and Sydney keep going at it cuz yk, horny bitches for each other. And then one day Sydney shows up after a visit from her mom's house, looking shocked. Lily's like "hey, what's wrong?" Sydney just says in a quiet, shocked voice "im pregnant. I...I'm pregnant, Lilium." And they're overjoyed. They want a family, fears aside. Doesn't matter that they're still just 18 and 19, they already have had Jack for two years and they did pretty well as parents. Then of course my angsty brain decides to fuck this happy idea up by saying: "This but the lore you came up with still happens. Yall, im telling you, if lore went this way, I think Lily woulda went down the same path as her father, doing her best to gain power, but to protect what little she has left, cuz at that point in her life, she wouldve only had Jack and her in-laws left, which arent a large bunch. Imagine how Dante would feel seeing Lily go down a similar path to Vergil though omfg Why does my brain punish me so?
