He hit his head? Well, the constant pounding sensation in his head really confirms the words that the Hatake utters, not that he didn't believe him or anything. ❛ is that what's causing the head pain and seeing double . . . triple? ❜ he laughs, which is odd for him to laugh in this moment actually ( or really openly laugh for any reason at all ). He likely had a concussion at this point and didn't realize that, though Kakashi would probably be able to figure that out.

❛ I'm fine. ❜ he's actually really dizzy and feels a little nauseous as he tries to move and find his way to his feet ( even after hearing the pale haired male tell him to take it easy ). ❛ I just . . . need a second, Kakashi - sensei. ❜

There's a long sigh that spills from the Uchiha's mouth when Kakashi tells him what wounds he has. He has no doubt that they are bad and Kakashi is downplaying it as many other jonin tend to do ( Kakashi more than some but still, it applied to most jonin as a whole too ). ❛ Right, not bad. Suuuuure. Go sit at the table in the kitchen. ❜

He shakes his head and closes the door behind the Hatake once he knows that he has passed him and went through the doorway, feeling the wind shift by him as he passes and the creak of old wooden floors with the steps taken ( it also does very much confirm that stab wound as one step sounded heavier than the other given that he's going to be favoring one leg over the other ).

he's almost certain that sakura is going to kill him. tsunade-sama too, probably, considering how badly he fucked up. (he completed his mission, of course. the only missions he's failed are the self-imposed ones.). he's not only injured, but he can't see either, and his first stop isn't going to a hospital? yeah, sakura's definitely going to kill him.

kakashi's been relying on his sense of smell to guide him, chakra too low to summon any of his ninken to be his seeing-eye dog. he's following his nose to the closest familiar smell, which, from his entrance into konoha, seemed to be shisui. his shoulder hits what he thinks is the door, and he knocks a few moments after. more than likely, the younger shinobi could at least bandage his wounds before he lets himself die by sakura's hands.

he hears the door open, and shisui makes his usual casual remarks. kakashi smells him moving slightly out of the way, and it's only because of his memory of the floor plan that kakashi doesn't trip coming through. "mm. one stab wound to the thigh, the other to the shoulder," he says. "they're not too bad, though. just need some stitches."

kakashi's pretty sure the blade was poisoned too, but it seems to be one that kakashi is mostly inoculated against. all he feels is a slight dizziness that could also be waved off as blood loss.

the enemies plan had worked, splitting the entire team up like this. Why did every mission they got seem to turn bad very quickly? She's starting to wonder if the team she was placed on is cursed. First it was the colder climate of the area they had the mission in. Then it was facing down these enemies. Even with Sasuke - kun on the team too, the luck was not with her at all. She stares down the enemy that called her the weakest link, which had pissed her off ( but she unfortunately knew that he was telling the truth ). She'd thrown every kunai and shuriken she had, none of them hit their mark and were deflected. The enemy had played her game and threw some back and one embedded itself in her arm ( to which she wasn't sure if it was recklessness or bravery on her part when she pulled the kunai out just to have a weapon in her own grasp once more ).

Her arm was throbbing and the coloring around the wound was all wrong. Poison? Her longer sleeve would keep her from wanting to focus on the wound, though realistically she didn't have time to think about it anyways as the enemy charged at her. Is this the place that she dies? All alone? She hoped that at least Sasuke - kun, Kakashi - sensei and even Naruto were all doing better than her right now. She holds the kunai in her shaky hands and hopes for a miracle.

the words catch him off guard, making him stare at the Hatake in surprise ( though he really shouldn't be that surprised ). Hand stays over his wound that could easily prove to be fatal if he doesn't get the medical attention needed soon enough. ❛ kakashi - san, think about your students first. They need you more. ❜ they were in unfamiliar territory, dealing with unfamiliar nin and wouldn't know to watch their backs nearly enough ( that's the main reason Haku was injured in the first place as he was taking a hit meant for Naruto ).

❛ I'll be fine, I have the necessary tools to stitch the wound up. ❜ that wouldn't solve anything, the blade had been poisoned and he knows that because he feels like the blood in his veins is burning. It's agony and here he is fighting to keep a straight face and appear calm. ❛ they're just kids, they're in danger. They need you. ❜ and he's not any of those?
