Firing on all cylinders..

Hey fans,

As 2013 begins, My Heart Remains is excited for whats to come this year. We have been working on the new album, "Virtue & Vice", for a while now. It has taken us a little longer than we expected to get this sucker finished, but we are getting close. We are thankful for all of the supporters we've had in 2012. We truly wouldn't be where we are without the help of our fans, family and friends! 2012 had its ups and downs, we tried new things, got rid of some old things, and are looking forward to 2013!

With that said, here are some updates:

The new record is being mixed and mastered as we speak and once we have it in our hands we can send it off to get pressed and packaged. Soon we will be pre-selling the record and hopefully setting a release date (crossing our fingers).

We are currently looking for a drummer, please email us at myheartremains@gmail.com if you are interested in auditioning and we will send a list of our requirements. If you know someone who may be interested please send them our way. With that said, we want to thank Zach Hunter for some really great times. He is a great drummer and will be truly missed. You can all continue to enjoy his talent through our new record. He played all the drum tracks on our album and they sound sick! We want to wish him luck in all his future endeavors. We've already got some great applicants and good friends who are gonna fill in. Can't wait to see what God has in store for us drummer wise..

This year, we will be releasing this record, putting singles on the radio, touring nationally and getting unbelievably rowdy! My Heart Remains is better than ever and more excited than we've ever been about the future.. Get ready.. My Heart Remains is coming! This is our year!!!

That's A Wrap..

Hey Everyone,

We just wanted to give you guys an update.. Sorry, we know its been awhile, but we've been busy! As you know, we have been in the studio working on our Full-Length record "Virtue & Vice" and today we are proud to announce that we have wrapped on tracking for this record! Matty finished up vocals today and now we wait for the album to be mixed and mastered. We just want to say a big thank you to Mikey Howard (7eventh Time Down) for pushing us hard and getting the best music out of My Heart Remains yet! Thanks buddy we love ya!

With that said, it won't be long before this record will be released. So make sure you stay plugged into our site to find out when you can pre-order, when the release date will be, and when you can come and "Get Rowdy" at our CD Release show.. We know that our family, friends and our fans will make it epic! Thanks for being so patient with us while we were in the studio, but very soon we will be hitting the road louder, rowdier, and better than ever!

We have a couple other new announcements coming up, but for now we will keep it quiet! We love you and can't wait to see you at a show.. Thanks for all the support!

Album Update and other ramblings..

Let us just start off by thanking our fans for being so amazing.. We really appreciate you coming to shows, buying merchandise, donating, and telling your friends about us! None of what we've been able to accomplish would be possible without you.

Our first tour was a major success. We made so many new friends in the south and we can't wait to see you all again. Our good friends Love Like Gravity played with us on the back half of the tour and they were amazing! We were immensely blessed to have met them. We got to tell hundreds of people about Jesus and we couldn't be happier to have had the opportunity to do that! Thanks to all that made it possible.

Anywho, now that we are back, our focus is back on finishing this record. We will be announcing the name of the record soon, and hope to release some teasers in the next month or so, so you can hear what we've been working on for you.. Dan and Matty will be in the studio next week to lay down the bass tracks. The record will really start to take shape in the next few weeks and we can't wait to see what the songs are gonna sound like. Zach cut drums in Atlanta at our good friend Brandon Swafford's(aka Swaff) studio and they sound incredible! We can't wait for you guys to hear what we've been working on.. Keep an eye out, we will be pre-selling this record soon. We hope you all buy it!

Festival season is coming up and we want to see all of you at a show! Please continue to pray for us and keep telling your friends about our ministry and our music.

Finally. Officially. We have a new Bass Player!

Well.. For a long time now we have been in search of a full time bass player. Tonight it is official, we have our new bass player. The search took a little longer than we expected but we wanted to make sure we found the person that God wanted. Tonight we want to welcome our good friend Dan Cress and his family into the My Heart Remains family. Some of you may know Dan from his former band, A Wayward Heart. Dan is an incredible musician, father, and friend whose joy overflows onto everyone he meets. Most importantly he is an ambassador for Christ and not ashamed of it.. After many conversations and prayers we are thankful to have Dan on board! Looking forward to many years of adventures.

Now that our new lineup is complete.. LOOKOUT! Things are about to get crazy. Thanks to everyone that has prayed for us, filled in for us, and supported us in any way. You are the reason we continue and can continue to do what we do! Everyone one make Dan feel welcome and give him some love on our sites and we will see you at the next show..

So this is the New Year..

So... 2011 had its ups and downs but it was amazing! We played some great shows, met some terrific people, and were given some tremendous opportunities. We met our new drummer and are starting to realize that he is more than just an incredible drummer, he is an awesome friend and extremely dedicated to the cause of Christ and the urgency of the Gospel. 

2012 is starting to look like it will be the best year yet for My Heart Remains. We are taking off on our first National tour in February. We have never been more excited to hit the road! Also, pre-production on the new album is finished and we will be heading to Atlanta to cut the drum tracks very soon. Our very good friend, Mikey Howard(7eventh Time Down) is producing this album for us. The record is really coming together and starting to pick up steam. Now that Pre-production is over we can really knock out the rest of this album. There will be a couple of special guests on this record but more on that at another time.. our lips are sealed.. This album will bring on a lot of exciting changes for us and we couldn't be happier. The new record does have a very bold message and we hope that through its honesty, it will step on the toes of the comfortable, and reach the people of this world that have been judged and ignored for too long.

With the tour and the new record, we believe that this year will be nothing short of an adventure. We can't wait to spend it with all of you as well as all of the ones we haven't met yet. We hope your 2012 is filled with blessings and endless happiness. God Bless

Hey everyone,

We are excited to announce our first tour through most of the Southern half of the United States. It will be a 2 week tour starting February 3rd through the 18th. Some of these dates will be with an incredible band called Love Like Gravity. Make sure you check them out on Facebook.. you will not be disappointed! We are stoked to have them with us. We will be posting the dates on our sites soon so make sure you go check em out and make sure to get to one. Hooks, Grooves, & Licks.... Oh My....

What's up everyone? We just wanted to give you a little bit of an update on what's going on with My Heart Remains. We have officially started pre-production on the new record!! We laid down lots of new scratch tracks in the studio and let me just go ahead and say.. this record is gonna be off the hook. We can't wait for you all to hear the new songs. We believe we have found our sound and the message we want to present with this record. We are putting our heart and soul into this record, praying over every lyric and thought. There are going to be some really great surprises on this record that we think you will all love very much! Some things you can be expecting from this record are BIG southern grooves, GIANT guitars, THUNDERING drums, SPLATTY fuzz, and CATCHY hooks all over it.. We can't wait to share it with you..

We are also in the process of auditioning bass players.. If you are or know of any bass players that are interested please contact us and we can set up and audition. We have had some wonderful friends and talented players who have filled in for us and we love you all for your time and support!

We have a some more big things to announce in December so stay tuned.. For now, all I can tell you is get ready.. My Heart Remains is coming!!
