excitement, enthusiasm, and mischief?

When Liev gets excited, he grins wide and proud - although depending on the situation, it may be a nasty grin. During battle he pumps his fist in the air or raises his charger. He’ll race around the stage with more intention and gusto than usual, and take more frequent shots. Very occasionally he’ll clap his hands together, usually when he’s in conversation with someone. The only times he gets excited about something are one, when he snipes people with his charger - he takes much pride in his abilities (or at least he did in the past), and nothing beats the rush of a one-shot - or two, when he’s involved in something he has a passion for. Which usually involves the idea of Agent 3 getting what she deserves. 

Much like excitement, Liev shows enthusiasm when he is either in the heat of battle or presented with the idea of Agent 3 or his family’s heads on a silver platter. Again he will grin, and go about whatever he’s doing with an odd amount of energy. This he may keep more to himself than excitement. 

Liev doesn’t often cause mischief - in fact, if he ever does, I’d be surprised, since he generally takes himself very seriously. I suppose that his form of mischief can be found in the thick of battle while throwing down impeccably-timed Splat Bombs, or while taking someone unaware with a Stingray. In such cases, he tends to reveal a nasty smirk before moving on.

I think my very first writing partner was @sturmazing​, and I have no idea where I’d be without you. I was having a lot of trouble with writing before I met you, and when I started talking to you, you helped bring back my motivation. It was so fun to write stupid RPs with you in the beginning over Discord, and to talk to you about all sorts of stupid headcanons, and we’ve both grown so much since then. You’ve taught me a lot about writing and you’ve taught me a lot about characters, and I really respect you for that! I hope one day to reach the level of thought you put into your characters, and to be able to write as well as you do! Thank you for all of your help, patience, and hard work. I couldn’t have got here or developed Liev the way I have without you.

You’re a talented artist and writer and video game player and I’m rooting for you to keep growing and improving! Avoid your asshole brother at all costs. He’s going to start treating you like shit. You don’t have to stick around to bear it. Run away from home early, or make him pay. Mom and Dad won’t believe you, either, so you have to do all your shit yourself. Go find some new parents.

When Ilaria moves away, just deal with it. You’ll see her again. And when you do, for the love of cod don’t let her go. ever. Tell her you love her sooner. Make her quit the army. Do not let her fight Agent 3. She will die. Tell her you love her instead and marry her. Be happy. 

Don’t do all the stupid shit that I did. Careful of the cops. You’re going to be horrible at battling at first but don’t give up. You’re going to be the best one day. Also, don’t bother working at that mart. It’s sketchy as hell, you get paid shit, and you get treated like shit. Focus on battling. You’ll be broke for a while but it’ll be worth it. 

Stay away from Soda Sturmaz at all costs. She’s a little fucker and a murderer. Expose her. Find evidence against her as soon as possible and get her in trouble. And thank that reporter guy if you ever see him, he’s the one that told me about her. 

Anyways, just don’t be a fucking idiot. Love Ilaria with everything you have and take care of her. Sometimes people aren’t all that bad.

I obviously don’t know what the future will be like. I wonder a lot. Is Soda dead? What’s Bon doing? Am I still protecting her? Is she still famous? Where’s Andy? Is he still bothering you? Does he even bother you anymore? 

Am I S+? Do they make better scopes? I don’t even know how old you are. cod this letter thing is stupid Did you stop battling? Where’s Raz, and Mom and Dad? Are they finally dead? What’s Raz even doing?    

Have you found Ilaria? Okay, that’s a stupid question. Of course you haven’t. Are you happy? Do you love anyone? Or are you dead? Probably. I wouldn’t be surprised if you were. I guess if you were you’d be lucky, cause then you’d be with Ilaria. But she’s probably in heaven, and I know I’m going to hell. So maybe it would never happen. 

I know I have a lot of questions. I guess it’s pointless to ask them because even if I was really writing to my future self you’d never reply. I don’t know what will happen from here on out and I sure wish you could tell me so I know what’ll happen. It scares me, I guess. To think of what could happen. I wish that I knew so I’d never be surprised. I’d be able to avoid whatever was coming to me. But I don’t get to know, so. whatever, I guess.

Fuck you and any shred of happiness you have experienced and any shred of happiness you will experience in the future. You took the only thing I could love. You took the only person I could trust. You fucking took Ilaria from me. That girl had done nothing. And you killed her for no fucking reason. Fuck you. I loved her. I loved her so fucking much. And you killed her. You’re a motherfucker.

I never trusted your stupid little games. I can’t believe I even talked to you. You played innocent all those years. You and your little fucking self, smiling so brightly and loving so innocently. You wouldn’t leave me alone. Let me tell you, I never trusted any little thing you did. I couldn’t. And you know what? I was fucking right. 

Because of you, I wanted to die, like she did. I’ve been miserable my entire fucking life and it’s your fault. I could’ve been married by now, Soda. And look at you. You’re married now, aren’t you? 4. If you could tell your muse one thing, what would you tell them? 

Liev! Stop being a dumbass and reach out to people! Let people like Bon and Dustin and Andy help you, please. They’re not out to hurt you or get you.

14. How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time? 

Well, he’s kind of a prick, first of all. He’s very proud of his rank, and he’s really good at battling. He just has some issues with trusting people, and he has a really sensitive side. Keep hanging around him if you can stand to be around him and show him that you’re not someone bad. He really needs someone to help him but he pushes everyone away. 

17. Why do you think you connect to your muse?

Honestly I’m just now figuring this out myself. It’s been extremely difficult to write him. When he came to mind, he was my complete opposite, but as I keep writing and thinking about him, there are a lot more similarities than I thought. I just have to start drawing on them. 

19. If you had to judge your muse and sentence them to a “fair” fate, what would your judgement be? Would you punish them? Reward them? How?

The only measurable crime Liev has committed is theft, during his homeless period. For that, I’d give him a fair legal punishment (work for several years or a fine), and probably punish him by making him be around people he supposedly dislikes. It would be good for him and he would be able to heal that way. Or I might send him into therapy. That way, he can get the help he needs. i just want him to be happy tbh

3. If you could change one event in your muse’s life (in their main or canon verse), what would you change?

If I could change anything, I would stop Ilaria from leaving the night she dies. If she hadn’t left, Agent 3 wouldn’t have killed her, Liev would’ve married her, and they would’ve been much happier together. He would’ve been able to heal. It was a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time, and for Liev’s sake, I wish she wouldn’t have left.

7. If you could “borrow” one aspect of your muse and apply it to yourself or your own life, what would you borrow?

I would probably borrow Liev’s athleticism? In all honesty? He’s very strong and endurant, he’s quick on his feet, and agile. I’m not athletic in the slightest. 

12. What about your muse amuses you?

His recklessness at times. When I was first trying to design him I wanted him to be cool, calm, and collected, level-headed. Trouble is, muses don’t always do what you want (not that I should’ve been putting him in a box anyway), and he can become super irrational and super explosive. He’s not always the smartest. He’s terrible at comebacks. He can be calm but it’s also very easy to upset him or make him angry. 

18. What aspect of your muse’s personality is most important to you? What aspect of your muse’s personality do you think is most important to them? Is it the same? Why or why not?

The strength that he wants to display, which eventually deteriorates, is one of the most important things to me. He tries so hard to be strong, and he prides himself on it, but on the inside he’s weak, and it finally starts to show in S2. I think it’s really important for his development. 

The most important thing to him, I think, is his skepticism. If he holds his world at an arm’s-length, then nothing can hurt him. If he questions everything, and searches for ulterior motives, he won’t be surprised when they eventually come into play. 

That isn’t to say that is strength isn’t important to him; it’s incredibly important to him. But he doesn’t always remain strong, he begins to weaken, and while he’s in that weakened state he’s vulnerable. So that’s where his skepticism comes in. Even at his weakest, he won’t let anyone get too close.

🙇: Who is the oldest ancestor your muse’s family can trace back to in History? If they cannot trace back that far - is your muse interested in learning of their roots?

Liev had a great grandfather (Aras’ grandfather) that served in the Great Turf War. His wife was a medic and they fell in love when he saved her life. Liev happened to overhear this knowledge when Raz asked their father about it once, but has never asked about his family roots directly. He doesn’t care to know anything about where he came from.

💪: Are there any physical characteristics that run in your muse’s family?

Liev takes after his father more than he would like, sporting the same bright yellow tentacles that he did. Raz is white like both Tani and Aras, and has green tentacles like their mother along with Aras’ orange eyes. Raz also has the same build and height as Aras, shorter and slightly thicker than Liev.

👑: Are there any special heirlooms, photos, bibles or other memorabilia that have been passed down in your muse’s family?

Before Raz left home to move to Inkopolis, his father presented him with his very own weapon, his beloved hero charger replica. At first Raz couldn’t use it in battle - as old as he was, he was inexperienced, and Sheldon made him start out with a Splattershot Jr. just like everyone else - but once he really got going, he started to use it until he became comfortable with his own style.

There was, of course, no such gift for Liev when he left home.
