Just recieved my book and I have a question. Is the transparent page at the start a manufacturing quirk? Or is it because putting it on the first page blurs the drawings a little and that creates the hazy feeling of just waking up? Is it an intentional effect? Because if so I love it

ahaha i chose it for that exact reason...! the front/end pages are called play paper (遊び紙), so i picked papers that went with the feeling of waking up & falling asleep. happy the effect came through. getting to pick paper stocks was fun!!

i think what really contributes to the stray cat metaphor with ai di is the fact that we never get to see his room wherever he lives. like i assumed he lives in the same place chen yi does (assumed, because we never see his room there), but over there all the action always happens in chen yi's room, or in the kitchen, or at that garage entrance, basically anywhere but in what could be ai di's room. if some action is happening on so called ai di's territory, it means it's happening in his bar. and okay, maybe he lives there, how can anyone figure it out, his room is never shown. when he cosplays as a schoolkid and disappears for a couple of days not answering chen yi's calls, where is he living? who knows! when he gets out of jail and doesn't go back to their place, where does he go to if we only ever see him at the bar, does he live in the back there.. the point is, not having a room or a place of his own we ever get to see, he becomes a literal embodiment of a stray cat who's just kinda around, he comes and goes, sometimes he comes back, sometimes he breaks into your apartment, sometimes he leaves, but he never forgets to wear his collar

also I can only draw like teens-adults so kids are hard to draw in my style unless we're talking my old art style

anyways this kid is a great way to practice drawing kids since I literally have like 10-13 year old oc's that are important to my oc stories

HI MILA!! here's the first bit of an adrinette feligami amusement park double date fic for you!

When Marinette wakes up, someone is already knocking on her trapdoor. She’s disoriented for a second, a yawn leaving her as she squints against the light shining in from the skylight, before it slams into her what she’s supposed to be doing today. “Ahh!” Marinette shoots out of her bed, knocking her pillow away. “I’m coming, I’m coming! Hang on! I’m not dressed!” Hopping down the stairs and making a beeline for her closet, she hisses, “Hide, Tikki!” Tikki doesn’t seem any more awake than Marinette is, and floats with a sleepy blink into the backpack Marinette had left on her desk last night. Through the trapdoor, Adrien’s voice is definitely amused as he stops knocking and says, “Take your time. We got here half an hour early anyway.” Marinette groans as she beelines for her closet and starts tossing clothes over her shoulder, rifling for the perfect outfit she knows she has in there somewhere. “Please don’t tell me you got here early because you knew I’d wake up late.” Aha! A cropped pink hoodie she’s been meaning to find an excuse to wear. And shorts, because it’s summer! But she doesn’t want people to see too much of her, so she’d better put on a second pair of shorts underneath. Is that weird? Is Adrien going to think she’s weird? Does Adrien… want to see too much? Marinette smacks her hands against her face.

Is the childe reverse sagau ever gonna be continued? I discovered it on ao3 months ago but saw some hope when you edited it to repost just a week ago

it's not like. discontinued. and i'm open to adding more parts, but i haven't had any ideas for it in over a year so who knows lol

to be fair it's always been a fairly open ended series, so it's not like there's really a distinct plot. it was originally a one off oneshot that i started adding a bit more to when it got pretty popular after all. if you have any ideas though i'm open to hearing them!!
