melancholy hill fixes me, but in a way I didn't expect it to:

#maybe buying the almanac artbook will fix me in a different way too#i let the gorillazs spotify just shuffle through the tracks in whatever order spotify shuffles through album music and ngl#it has been a very long time since ive gone through about 3 hours of music without realizing it#specifically DIFFERENT songs usually i'll have a set of 8 songs i'll do on repeat while i work#dont worry too much about the phrasing its just seasonal depression and feeling frustrated w/ how my art looks#and its like. pshhh. thats whatever. when you hit a roadblock with art that's your brain's way of telling you to revisit the foundations#i bought a cheap sketchbook and im revisitng those foundations and im vibing with it while i try and figure out what i want to do#re: what my art looks like / what im good at / what i want it to look like and what i want to be good at etc etc
