My gijinka King Boo does it as a reference for when Boos cover their face even if King Boo isn't really afraid at all to that extent. Just a wink and nod to the overall design choice of the boos since my version of him created the race all together. ♥

I could be misremembering this too, but I coulda sworn I read that the Japanese see purple eyes as 'evil', so he probably hides one of his eyes to be less intimidating to those who worshiped him as a deity.

Ignatius does it to cover the demonic snake scales on that side of his face. So yeeee, usually to hint a character is hiding a part of themselves whether by their benefit or others.

soup has such a distinctive way of meowing that im not really sure i know how to describe. a lot of cats go Mawww,,, but he goes Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw...... and he can be loud when he wants. which is not very often. and he only meows when he's just mysteriously upset or at my brothers door (it is closed and he is in it)

Sometimes in life there were days that you just wanted to delete from your books. Days when everything went wrong and you would have liked to stay in bed. Even vampires had such days and Ezekiel had had a mean one. His hair was frizzy and little things went wrong all the time that didn't impress him much on other days, but that was especially nasty on this one.

And as bad as the day was, so beautiful was the sight of his beloved student standing in front of him with a small but fine bouquet. Ezekiel could have cried, the moment was so beautiful for him.
