Hello again with another blog post! As some of you may know, my favourite genre of books is young adult. And today for my blog post I decided to give you some recommendations from this genre. :) “Sucide Notes” by Michel Thomas Ford This book follows the story of a young 15 year old Jeff who finds himself in the psychiatric ward in the local hospital. He has some issues to deal with but at first he refuses to think that there’s something wrong with him. In the hospital he finds some new friends and even finds true love. But nothing is what it seems and soon everything starts to fall apart. This book deals with matters of depression, suicidal thoughts, homosexuality, love and personal problems. I just loved it the first time I read it, it reminded me of my favourite book, “It’s kind of a funny story” by Ned Vizzini. “I was here” by Gayle Forman Another book about suicide and depression but the exact opposite. It follows the story of two best friends, Cody and Meg, who were once inseperable but everything changes when Meg goes to college. Soon after that, Cody learns that she has killed herself with no previous signs of depression and so she starts to investigate what led to her death and the things she finds may as well break her heart. It’s such a meaningful book that everyone should read at some point, it’s beautifully written and it will keep you on the edge of your seat for the whole time you’re reading it. “You against me” by Jenny Downham This book is by the author of “Before I die” which some of you may have read. The story is about a girl, whose brother has been accused of raping a teenage girl, and a boy, whose sister is the girl who has been raped. It follows the trial that must determinate who’s the real victim and who’s guilty. It’s not just a love story but much more than that. It’s about justice and personal responsibility as well as protecting the ones that are close to you even if they have made a mistake. It’s a book that’s worth to be read. “When we collided” by Emery Lord This book is just awesome. It’s about a girl, Vivi, who’s new to town and is just full of energy and passion. She is adventurous, never sleeps and she just wants to have fun and make the best memories ever. Then, there’s this boy, Jonah, who is a great chef and has a lot of siblings to take care of, because his dad has died and his mother is recovering from his death. Vivi and Jonah meet and soon fall in love, but Vivi is not just a restless girl. She has her dark past and secrets she doesn’t want to reveal. She has a lot on her mind and there’s a big reason that she’s moved to this small town where she knows no one. It’s an awesome book dealing with mental illnesses, summer experiences and true love. You won’t be disappointed! “All the bright places” by Jennifer Niven That book is well known in the booklovers’ community. It follows the story of Theodore Finch, a boy who loves making researches on ways to die. He has his problems and things to deal with and plans to kill himself some time in the future. And then, there’s Violet Murkey, a shy girl whose sister has recently died. She wants to escape this town and follow her own journey from now on. When they meet, everything in their life changes. They become closer and soon, they fall in love. For a brief moment everything in their lives seems perfect, they are happy together. But then, Theo disappears. Violet is scared, she doesn’t know what may have happened to him. And the things she discovers are haert-breaking. This book broke my heart when I read it. That’s why I’m recommending it for you, haha. “P. S. I like you” by Kasie West Another hish school romance but this time it’s a lot sifferent and way more interesting. Lily is the average student who loves listening to music and writing her own songs on her guitar. One day during her much hated chemistry class she scribbles some song lyrics on the desk, because she’s bored. And then on the next day she notices someone has finished her lyrics. She then starts leaving notes for this mysterious person and they form a type of friendship. But what will happen when she finally learns who this person is? Will she be okay with that? Read this book to know how the story ends. That were all the books I recommend you from the yound adult genre! I hope you pick some of them and actually read them! If you want me to make some more book recommendations, just leave me feedback. :)

Today I’m here with a review of a book that came out last year. Some of you loved it, some of you hated it. That book is “Harry Potter and The Cursed Child” ! This review contains some spoilers, so if you haven’t read the book, I recommend you to read it as fast as you can because it’s really interesting! My Rating: ★★★★★ This book was about the Magic world 19 years after Harry defeated Voldemort. The main characters are Albus, Harry and Ginny’s son, Scorpius, Draco and Astoria’s son and Delphi, who later is revealed to be Voldemort’s daughter from his relationship with Bellatrix Lestrange. The boys find the old time-turner and travel back in time to the Tri-Wizard Tournament to prevent Cedric’s death. They are accompanied by Delphi, but they still don’t know her real identity. Later on she attacks them, killing Cedric and hurting them both with the intention to steal the time-turner. She wants to go back in time and bring her father, Lord Voldemort back to life. Later on, the two boys, Harry, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Draco find them and defeat them. And that’s about it for the story of the “eighth” book of the series. Now, don’t hate me because of the high rating I gave this book. I loved it more than I thought I would. At times it felt more like a fanfiction but one that has been written very well. I liked the story and the characters and was shocked when I learned that Voldemort actually has a daughter. Some people say that the characters seemed different, that they were acting different from the series and it wouldn’t be typical of them, but I disagree. I also liked the fact that the sons of the enemies (Harry and Draco) made a great friendship. I really loved Rose’s character because she was just like her mother as a student. And their sort of relationship with Scorpius was just adorable! I found it awesome that with all their adventures and troubles while using the time-turner, they let us see the magic world in a whole different way. Like, what would happen if Ron didn’t end up marrying Hermione, what if Umbridge became a headmaster and what if Cedric was still alive? After reading this book we can finally answer these questions. Given the fact that nobody has ever used the time-turner to prevent something from happening (excluding the trio in the third book), it’s even more interesting to read! I’m so glad that we are able to read something more from the world of magic that Rowling has created, even if it’s written like a play. I enjoyed every part of this book, it had a lot of potential, plot twists and also many funny parts. If you like the series by far, give a go to this book also because you won’t be dissapointed!

Top 5 Books I’ve Read in 2016!
Since 2016 is almost over, I decided to make my first post as a chart! Here are my 5 books (or series) that I liked the most in the past year! :) 1.”Heroes of Olympus” series by Rick Riordan Okay, let me just say something. I didn’t expect to love these series SO much. I read them because my brother recommended them to me. BUT OH MY GODS, I WASN’T READY FOR THEM. I loved every single thing from those books. The setting, the characters, the story. It was just amazing and I had so much fun while reading them because I love Rick Riordon’s style of writing. 2.”Inferno” by Dan Brown This book had me thinking about it weeks after finishing it. It’s just so serious and interesting that I couldn’t put it down for a minute. It’s one of the books that really make you think about the world that we live in and the consequences of the population. Also, I’m a big fan of Dante’s “Divine Comedy” so that book was the perfect choice! 3.”The Book Thief” by Markus Zusak I love historical fiction and this book was one of the greatest choices in that genre. Some people find it overwhelming, but I think it’s just as serious as it needs to be. The story takes place during the World War II in Germany and that makes it even more fascinating than ever. 4.”Every Last Word” by Tamara Ireland Stone This book was so adorable. And when I say that, no, don’t think that it’s just an innocent read with a cliche romance, no, it’s much more than that. I freaking LOVE psychology and understanding mental disorders and that was the first book that I’ve read about a person with OCD so I found it very interesting. You won’t make a mistake with this book! 5.”Fangirl” by Rainbow Rowell I found my own self in this one. Cath, the main character, was just the typical fangirl, reading and writing her own fanfictions and being addicted to a certain book series. She’s an introvert who eventually finds her place in the world. She manages to make friends and even meets one special boy. What’s not to love? That’s all of us in a nutshell. That were the books I loved the most in the past 12 months! I hope you liked my choice! Stay tuned to more book posts, reviews, opinions and photos! :) Thank you for reading! ^^
