MSGM – LE FAVOLE DI MASSIMO GIORGETTI SONO REALI.

L’uomo è da sempre alla ricerca di un brivido, di una qualsiasi emozione che possa smuovere la monotonia della vita quotidiana è così che Massimo Giorgetti, direttore creativo di MSGM, vi da il benvenuto nel mondo incantato di Haunted, fatto di luci e magia ma anche di ombre. Come riporta il designer per la collezione autunno/inverno 2020/2021 “Le favole sono piene di cose terrificanti”. Dall’ammirazione per Dario Argento, maestro internazionale del cinema horror, nasce una collaborazione con il brand atta a ripescare le paure più recondite dell’uomo per indagare su tutti i contrasti della personalità umana. Il sartoriale è sempre reinterpretato in chiave streetwear, anima del brand dal giorno zero, i colori attingono dalle pellicole del Maestro, giocando con contrasti e stampe con le iconiche locandine di “Il gatto a nove code”, “Phenomena” e “Suspiria” senza dimenticare l’occhio del killer di “Profondo Rosso”. In una location oscura ed avvolta da calde luci rosse, quasi a voler incutere timore, con passo svelto escono da fumo intenso i ragazzi di MSGM, giovani e tenebrosi con dei tocchi di humor per smorzare la tensione come solito fare dei film di Dario Argento. Appaiono accessori ormai quasi dimenticati dalle nuove generazioni come il papillon in sottile raso in una palette colori super pop e giovanile, ma anche lunghissime sciarpe di seta in colori pastello o con stampe. Il sartoriale è reinterpretato in una versione più Millenials attraverso dettagli ironici come le illustrazioni di piante carnivore che evocano un mondo incantato o anche orsacchiotti cuciti insieme come se fossere una creatura spaventosa o ancora due mani scheletriche che formano un cuore. Come nelle pellicole del Maestro Argento anche nella collezione MSGM non mancano le donne, che mostrano una pre-fall 2020 ricca di stampe e silhouette innovative per il brand. Un’unione tra moda e cinema che ha portato alla luce un’estetica che scava nell’inconscio, per citare il Maestro “Siamo in due. La mia parte oscura ed io.”
