ok let's call it the "Uncle-Dad Barok AU". I can see Iris spending time reading and writing in Barok's office and she would make tea for her dear uncle/dad because he works too much and need to rest. She would still call people by nicknames. ((So when Masked Disciple would come, since she can't know his name, she would call him Masky. And would try to make him speak, using a lot of tricks))

On a completely unrelated note, I wonder what Iris would make of Ryuu and Susato in this AU. Technically they're her uncle's rivals, and Uncle Barok doesn't like the Japanese very much, but they don't seem like bad guys, do they? And sometimes they help each other in court! Maybe she'd be the one running to Ryuu crying that her uncle was arrested and asking for his help. "Oh and don't worry if Uncle Barry says no, he says no all the time but then he accepts help because he's a softie but he just won't admit it! I asked you for help because Uncle says you're a really good attorney, but don't tell him I told you that, he's shy, heehee"
