#MAN yosuke’s behaviour towards kanji is so fascinating and awful. get well sooooon

i think perhaps yosuke looks at kanji taking everything that happeened to him very well (all things considered) and really wants to poke at that, bc he can't see himself reacting the same way. just a constamt "hey you realize how bad this is for you, right? surely you just don't understand" although im not sure how much of that is really a conscious reaction. also he may just be being a little pissy

ooooh yeah that’s a really interesting thought! that fits so well with the way he looks down on kanji’s intelligence in general, i definitely think that’s a layer of it. yosuke loves acting like a little taste of Society, loves regurgitating the thoughts of the mean without scrutiny, loves saying and doing and thinking and being the things he’s “supposed to”. plus yosuke proving to himself that’s he’s Different than kanji, sticking kanji’s hand on the stove to suggest he himself isn’t burned, cause why would he do that if he knew it hurts?
