I remember being a kid playing Neopets and reading the Maraqua comic on there, and I was really into this fella back then:

And then by 9th grade, I got two weirder Neopets crushes:

At least Sydney would probably make for an interesting tumblr sexyman. As for Magax...

Also, I very nearly ended up in the top 10 high score list for Magax: Destroyer II back in the day. I played it for so long using the Jazz Jackrabbit 3 soundtrack as background music and it felt good getting the message board avatar as a reward.

How are you handling the Magax game being gone?

I never did get the gold trophy...

Ugh, it's like... I'm sad, but ultimately I didn't really play many games besides Magax Destroyer II. It doesn't hurt me earning NP (I've relied on my store more than games for most of my time on Neopets) or anything, but it's a sore spot. Always going to the games room to try and play that and Meerca Chase and seeing them just... gone.

It sucks but I'm hopeful they'll be back at some point. Maybe not in the immediate future, but I hope one day I'll be able to play as Magax again.

As an aside, man I miss the guitar music from Magax Destroyer I RIP game graveyard.

Magax: Destroyer II isn’t on there.

I was really holding out hope for it because I always love getting new Magax stuff to waste my Neopoints on collect, but nope. Oh well.

Day 20: Favourite game?

In another shock, my favorite game is not Magax: Destroyer II. I love Gormball. The intensity of hot potato combined with a water balloon fight. Plus, when you win, it feels really good. And before someone asks, my favorite player is Farvin III.
