A Few Days Later

Sitting on a table at a local Cafe, Crow leaned against a teacup. The warmth seeping through the porcelain felt nice and was a welcome distraction from the poorly hidden glares shot their way. Not that they cared what others thought about them, well used to the hatred by now, but it was still annoying to catch the hushed whispers. Though it was amusing to see the more cowardly mons jump and scamper away when they shot a glare in return.

Oh right, waiting, being on good behavior. Crow sighed to themself letting their mind wander back to the last few days as opposed to riling the locals up. Getting through training had been easy if boring, only getting interesting once they had been allowed to actually do the job of a scout in real dungeons. Sure they knew Specter was trailing them the whole time and the other guild members were assholes as expected. But it was fun being able to explore again and handle traps.

Less fun was the memory of their last conversation with the leader of the scouts. Crow frowned as they thought back to the other ghosts words. Apparently they need to ‘review their performance’ and ‘go over reports from the other members’. Blech, Crow already knew exactly what they would be saying about them.

Regardless it left them with a free day. One that Crow didn’t hesitate to use to hang out with Cherry again. Which left them here again, waiting for the flaaffy to show up.

This-... was hell! A small imp looked down at a sleeping sin under him with huge eyes as he felt like he couldn't breath. HOW did he end up in the same bed with Asmodeus!? Wait a sec-... 'Fizz' looked down at his hands before taking a deep breath. This must be a dream. There is NO fucking way this was a real thing, right? RIGHT!?

"Okay, okay.. this is no' okay" he whispered to himself, slowly backing away under the cover as he tried not to freak out. Well it did not take too long for 'Fizz' to slide slowly over Oz's groin area, just to stop when he felt it.. the fact that neither of them were wearing any underpants was the last straw.

Mammon, went to sleep in his own bed, in his own high quality silk pajamas just to wake up in same bed as his fucking ex boyfriend, in his current boyfriends body? Naked! Well sure he wore some stupid ass looking girly night gown but-... still that did not help him to calm down even a little bit.

"WHY ARE YOU NAKED!?" a sudden panicky shout filled the otherwise quiet room as 'Fizz' jumped off the sin, not having a great control of his limbs as he fell off the bed, taking the blanket with him. He roll down the set of stairs next to the bed and soon found himself on the floor, rolled up in the blanket. That went smoothly!

muse sat themself up in what was not his safe and comfortable nesting place, surrounded by their kin, but a human bed. and not even a very soft or clean one. such mysteries abounded, and he'd only just awoken!

his inquisitive mind was immediately piqued, chasing this series of occurrences around their thoughts as they picked himself up on his hands and feet to lope over the edge of the bed ... aaaand immediately faceplanted, introducing a sharp PAIN in their face and the taste of metal in their mouth, which spilled in a dark red deluge from their nose and mouth where they'd bitten their tongue. they'd been expecting their arm to extend to the length needed to dismount the bed, but of course, this had failed to occur.

they would need to relearn the basics of movement again, the thought greatly exciting them. they hadn't had to learn a new skill in so LONG, the challenge presented thrilling them as they attempted to stand on legs which swayed and shook terribly. his center of gravity was different, and the lack of plasticity in this body meant he could not so easily readjust how he stood to keep from pitching over.

he toddled across the floor towards the door, an uncharacteristic smile plastered across peppino spaghetti's face as muse piloted his body.

Ok I’m probably not the best person to say this, but I’ve been seeing a lot of (as of right now) accurate insults on how the CGI approach for the Live Action Little Mermaid movie, but please be mindful that you don’t take things too far, and *especially* don’t start going after Halle Bailey (Ariel’s actress) and to a lesser extent, Ariel the character.

Antiblackness is still an issue in a lot of fandom spaces, and it doesn’t just come out as using nasty slurs or stereotypes. It manifests as drawing Black characters lighter and/or with more white features, it comes out as removing Black partners from ships, and it starts out as plausibly deniable insults that get the door open to microaggressions and outright nasty comments.

I’m not saying that all discussion of the movie should be stalled, or even if it turns out to be an artistic failure, that it doesn’t merit discussion. I’m saying that you shouldn’t extend your vitriol to the characters and actors.

If you really feel the need to insult her, it might be worth a little introspection. Ask yourself, “Do I resent that they changed Ariel, or that they changed Ariel in this way?”. You’re not irredeemable if your personal answer isn’t kind. Just be more careful, try and observe how that sort of world view affects your behavior to others, and then course correct.

A lot of little kids would love to see another Black Princess. A lot of little kids would love to have a Black mermaid as a main character. Hell, a lot of adults would love those too. Black fantasy characters have long been excluded, transformed, killed, merely in the background, relegated to stereotypes, villainized and have hardly ever in the spotlight, especially in major productions.

Don’t make it harder for kids (and adults!) to see themselves on screen. Don’t ruin their wonder. So don’t make unkind comments. Keep it to yourself. Frankly, Halle looks beautiful, and I can’t wait to see the sparkles in her fans’ eyes as she swims across the screen.

I am back after quite a hiatus eh.

This is a simpler digital painting but I still had lot of fun working on it.

It is Rose from the Street Fighter series while she is possessed by the soul of villain M.Bison\Vega. while she is floating on the sky thanks to M.Bison's Psycho Power, all while there is a dramatic storm.

Simple yet effective I say.

Hope you like it - and yes, Rose is really that busty and curvy in the games, not an artistic licence :)

And yes! As of right now (unless I change something which I probably won't) Satoru and Suguru are one entity and Shoko takes on Uraume's role! (or something similar to them).

I just like the idea that Satoru and Suguru do some weird curse technique combining Suguru's curse manipulation and Satoru's six eyes to become one. Makes me think of like Garnet from Steven Universe, where the fusion is just the manifestation of their love for each other (and because they are together they barely care about the world at all, which is why those two became evil >:3)

I don't know if it would make any sense in the canon of the story, but I wanted to keep the multiple appendage thing that OG Sukuna had going on (which was from the myth that he was a conjoined twin I think?), and so the idea to fuse Satoru and Suguru together came to my mind!

It also works out because in canon Satoru and Sukuna are parallels, while Suguru and Mahito had their moments together but then the betrayal! (Plus I had no real idea for Suguru if I'm being honest).

[also a note to remember, these aren't going to be true 1-to-1 swaps, some of them will be, but others won't! Like Ko-Guy (Inaho Kouho/Koura, still debating surname) is most close to Inumaki, but is most likely taking the place of Nobara in the AU!]

"Heya, How's it-WHAT IN THE... Can ya explain what's goin' on? Your eyes. They're different..."

Closing his eyes Crow focused on his breathing, trying to ignore all the new sensations bombarding him. Why he suddenly needed to breathe was a mystery but one that could wait for a moment.

“Crow? Crow?” Cherry looked down at the flaaffy wheezing on the ground. It was strange seeing her own face but as she glanced at her now grey paws she could only guess at what happened.

“Who the hell?” She heard the quiet growl in her own voice as Crow opened his eyes to glance at her. Said eye quickly shut again as he leaned back. Rubbing his hands on his face as he fell backwards, “no.”

Cherry shot an apologetic look towards Rimi, “Ah it’s lovely to see you again but there seems to have been an incident. It uh, we may have switched bodies? I’m not too sure the how.”

'Fizz' was sitting there catching his breath for a moment while feeling so awkward, weird for what just happened. The questions Oz just threw at him made the jester slowly look up before sitting up straight. Man did the sin of Lust look concerned for some reason. 'Fizz' just slapped a smile on his face before getting off the other.

"You did nothing wrong. . . . babe" he was sure the actual Fizz used that name on Oz, disgustingly sweet but he had to keep up the act, Otherwise this would be very hard to explain. "Just some things in my life bothering me, that's all... nothing to do with you~" he quickly add before leaning in for what was supposed to be a kiss. You see this guy did forgot there was NO extra pair of arms for him to wrap around the sin so instead he was pressing his face and body against Oz, his actual hands cupping his face. Nice going.

". . . . . Hey! How about we go and make breakfast together!? That could be fun! And exciting! And fun!" 'Fizz' corrected himself, hopping off from Oz's lap, trying to save the situation. Not soon after his phone starting to get a message spam. "Wait-.. hold on a sec babe.." no, 'Fizz' did not stretch his arm to get the phone, but with very wobbly steps walked to the nightstand just to check the phone. Of course it was from 'Mam'. At least he now knew where the actual Fizz was. Quickly typing back to all the pleads about him answering and if this is a nightmare or what the hell was going on. 'Fizz' just told 'Mam' to figure it out, he is the sin now.

"Eugh, Mammon. Can you believe this guy. Anyway! Breakfast?" no he was just gonna ignore the message spam for now. Let him have his moment with Oz.
