Little drawing I did of Lynatwyr at a Pirate themed art party. This was just supposed to be a sketch but I liked how it looked so whoopsie I finished it.

I've talked a lot about the B's biological parents so this time let's talk about B'runi's adopted (and Lynatwyr's biological) parents: Captains Wuntwilf Merlzirnsyn and Ankabhyda Grymkoelwyn. Allow me to regale you with the tale of the Captains of the Golden Navigator.

Leaders of the Revenge of the Deep and co-captains of The Golden Navigator, these two rowdy pirates are among the most feared and romanticized sailors in Lominsan history. The story of their love dwells on the lips of every star-crossed lover who dares to dream.

Long before he was known as a captain, Wuntwilf lived his days as the heir to the Guldloh Lominsan merchant family, known for their silk, clothes, and other highly sought after wares. But a chance run-in with the up and coming Revenge of the Deep would set a new course.

Some say it was love at first sight, others say that Wuntwilf pined after Captain Ankabhyda for months, while the far less romantic claim she tortured him until he gave in. What's the truth? They've never told.

However for many moons after their first meeting, the two could be spotted flitting about the streets and taverns in Limsa Lominsa, a love that could never be blossoming between them. Eventually, a plan was hatched, and another Guldloh ship was raided.

Strangely, no cargo was taken, only one man was swiped and the Revenge of the Deep would offer no ransom. Captain Ankabhyda desired Wuntwilf by her side and there was nothing they could do to force her to return him to his merchant family. Thus began his life of piracy.

During their journeys together, Ankabhyda and Wuntwilf made the acquaintanceship of B'yandih Jhida and Yvet Eryut. Ever stalwart allies, when Doma fell, the two captains aided in the escape of refugees to Eorzea, transporting a young Su'a Khao and his mother to Ul'dah.

When Ala Mhigo fell, they took in a portion of the B tribe at B'yandih's behest, including her daughter, B'runi, who she knew would be in more capable hands in their care than in hers. From there, they did the only thing they could do and raised them into mighty pirates.

Unfortunately, their tale would come to a tragic end. In the eve of the Calamity, Limsa Lominsa was threatened by the clash of Titan and Leviathan, Captains Ankabhyda and Wuntwilf, along with many of their crew members, stood against the primals and sunk with their ship.

Their legacy lives on, both through the tales of their love, and through the lives of those they left behind. Lynatwyr and B'runi miss them both dearly. While they weren't perfect parents, they were the best they could be, and neither daughter has ever forgotten that.
