I'm sorry, but it's true.

I have been thinking about the very thing in the post below this one. The thing that it hinges on. How there are some in this Lukola camp that don't use all their brain power, which trust me we all have amazing minds. We are so smart, have to, to be compared to the freaking FBI. Being a Lukola makes us really in tune with things.

I'm going to be using an analogy of studying for a test. Lukolas have brilliant minds. It's just some of you guys, let important things slip out of your memories and minds. Some don't allow or take initiative to go back, and back often to look at everything. To do that is on us, it's the same as studying before a test if you don't study you may not have all the correct answers and not pass the test. If you do study you are able to spot any trick questions in the test easily and you don't sweat those while answering all the questions correctly without any worry.

I'm saying all this to say that there so many things that point to Lukola being not just endgame, but nowgame. SO many things that are subtle, but pack a huge impact when put back on the table of evidence. The people that spiral just don't do enough of going back over ALL the things that make it so damn obvious that Lukola is the truth. They don't study. They also fall for the trick questions (the smoke and mirrors/decoys/adjacents/adherent) that are not the correct answers. Not enough people focus on (study the actual subject the test is about) the soul people that we should pay attention to, listen to which is Nicola and Luke.

You can't go wrong that way. The famous phrase "straight from the horses mouth" is famous for that very reason. The person that should be listened to in the case of if Luke and Nicola are together or not is Luke and Nicola, not the adjacents and not an adherent or the haters/liars. Luke and Nicola, the only top tier people. One can't go wrong that way. We got the best study guide guys. Who wouldn't enjoy going back to looking at them? I know I never tire of them and I never spiral, but that's just me. I can't speak for my classmates.

I really enjoy when we share notes. I know not everyone enjoys getting studying done that way. Having to repeat so often, especially when busy. Maybe it's because you're doing it alone? No one in your RL to share in it. Hey maybe a group of us should host a study jam session on Zoom or something? Where we talk about our notes while listening to the Lukola musical playlist.

This kind of reminds me of something I've always think back on and I'm like why everyone doesn't get it that Luke isn't with A. Based on what he was reported saying "She's a friend of a friend", He wouldn't even claim her even as his friend let alone his girlfriend. It's because she's neither.

Right, maybe I’m just having my moment, but in this post I’m gonna rant because I am getting very, very sick of eating mouldy bread and crumbs at the waffle house nowadays 🤢. It is demoralising, is it not?

Firstly, please don’t attack me, I’m as much a hardcore shipper as you are, but undeniably my rationality never stops me from playing devil’s advocate. It has been vexing seeing the fandom going back and forth with theories just to keep the Lukola ship afloat amid the reality of L dating and N moving on from captaining the ship.

As much as I love Nic and Luke, I don’t plan to give up my grasp on reality to fool myself into delusion. I’m way too old and realistic for that, and by crossing over to delulu land I would be making what I believe real in my mind, rather than observing something real and appreciating it, which is how I believe I got into this fandom.

So far evidence has shown N & L seem to be very different people in terms of work ethics, career projection, choice of friends, attitude to fans and fame, and PR strategies among other things. Plus, as much as the fandom tries in its most creative ways to dismiss this, Luke does have an ‘alleged’ gf whom he takes seriously enough to bring with him almost everywhere, and who has somehow stuck around for almost a year. Say what you like but Luke’s actions don’t scream one-sided from A at all. And who is she to be so powerful to ‘force’ him into bringing her everywhere?

I ship Lukola, but I don’t NEED them to exist. If there really isn’t anything between them (ever, or anymore) apart from a good friendship, it is OK, I just want to know.

Promotion period is over. We have given S3 so much hype and this has resulted in amazing success and public recognition. Luke is still with A and seemingly distancing himself from the B’ton bubble, N has moved on to other projects, so why can’t they just release us from this rollercoaster of emotions by confirming once and for all that they are just friends. I bet some fans (like myself) will appreciate being freed from the misery.

The only possible reason I can think of to explain why we are stuck here in the WH with all this mess is perhaps when N & L were chosen as S3 leads, their contract got renewed and part of it requires them to drive this dating narrative for as long as they are cast members. It is likely Shondaland has learnt from previous seasons and QC how powerful fans can be when they wholeheartedly believe in a ship and decided to fully capitalize on this, not just for S3 but for as long as they can. Conveniently they have N & L who are very close and comfortable with each other, and the very hard working Nic who seems to have chemistry with everyone and understands how a fandom works way too well.

So, as per their contract, N & L cannot publicly claim any gf/bf, but of course neither Netflix nor Shondaland can stop them living their personal lives, or stop their friends and tabloids from digging into N and L’s private lives for publicity. I can imagine this to be suffocating, I wouldn’t be surprised if L did find it too much and just wanted to get away from it all as soon as possible, hence his behaviour since Part 2 premier. This is obviously bad for publicity and potentially upset N + Shonda who work super hard for B’ton and S3 to be a success. I suspect there is tension and disagreement behind the scene, and while they want to keep us believing in Lukola, they really can’t control Luke’s life. This explains all the mixed messages we are getting.

So now we have it, an awkward situation where our beloved find themselves damned if they do and damned if they don’t. So much conflict of interest, so strong also is the sentiment from fans who are ready for the next backlash in response to any upsetting news that no one wants to risk losing the support by officially busting the bubble.

Hence we are all stuck. Luke buried himself in the sand with HBS ver 2 and Nic buries herself in work. We are left starved, only barely kept alive when Netflix, Shondaland and some cast/crew occasionally drop some BTS and info to keep us interested.

This was never what I signed up for when I joined this fandom. I am frustrated, a bit heart broken, and getting more and more cynical each day. I am hanging dearly on to my seat in the waffle house but trust me, some days I wish I had never got here in the first place.

End of my rant, I’ll probably sulk a bit and get back here tomorrow to continue with all this shipping business 🤷🏻‍♀️.

I feel like too many people take silence and run with it and let it fester until it grows into doubt and that’s when the spiraling happens.

We love our Lukola coded bread crumbs and Easter eggs. However, we just need to understand that we support Nic and Luke and silence is sometimes a very great thing.

It’s not whether someone liked a post it’s the action of why it wasn’t liked? They could be next to each other, they could be letting the other person shine in their moment. I personally believe in both of those theories.

Remain calm everyone and cruise on! 🚢 let’s enjoy everything they have given us and hope that we get something good soon!

Luke's Floral Message

I had some requests to do a floral meaning for Nicola's Harper's Bazaar Woman of the year photo and I do intend on doing that one soon. I have been quite busy in RL so haven't been in the right head space. I do believe I am coming out of that now and will be able to get to doing that analysis soon.

This one is a quick and easier one seeing as it's one flower. Luke is holding two light pink shades of roses in his People's Sexiest Man Alive 2024 issue photoshoot.

I for some reason am not able to highlight right now. Agh! So I will add the portions that apply below the screen capture.

Joy

✅ Joy and Happiness makes sense for Luke. I mean we can see how he is whenever he is with Nicola. In the 'This or That' that comes along with this article spread he is smiling and looks happy. So that is a yes.

✅ The beginning of a new relationship. I take that to mean a new commitment level in an established relationship. One of the further meanings backs that up. More on that one in a bit.

Tenderness

✅ A love that is tender and enduring. The way Luke always describes Nicola shows how Tender she is to him and he is to her. It's also lasting and enduring. Through all the baseless rumors of them beefing these two never gave up on each other. Nicola stood up for him multiple times and they both still showed they were in contact throughout the time of the rumored "beefing" period. Reminder to people, online interaction isn't the be all and end all of relationships. Nicola and Luke have proved in the past that they talk/text on the phone (Luke was so wanting to say they talk everyday even, but Nicola had to backtrack on that les the cat be let out of the bag about their relationship) and they hang out (They went to the play A Streetcar Named Desire and Hamilton together. She also went to his play The Shape of Things opening night then out to eat afterwards. We also got evidence of her being at his place for the Cinnamon Roll social.) Point is they are part of each other's lives outside of Bridgerton. People who want to not believe that then they are being willfully blind. All that to say that their relationship is enduring and lasting. No loud minority of fans can or will change that. No adjacents (agh I hate that word too) that they very highly likely hired to help them have privacy during a very life-changing time can or will change what they have.

✅ Suitable for long-term relationships. See long-term relationships. Luke and Nicola have known each other for 5 years. Due to some crumbs that Nicola and Luke have been giving us. They are most likely in a very serious, long term committed relationship now.

Femininty

✅ Gentleness. I wonder if Nicola helped him pick out the flower he used in this photo? She has been using flowers a lot lately in sending messages. She is very gentle to him. But he is gentle to her as well.

✅ Love. Biggest duh ever right? They love each other. Our in love pair.

New Beginnings

✅ New beginnings. Yep, their commitment rose to a new level. Deeper commitment.

✅ Purity and Innocence. They have a healthy relationship. A good and wholesome beginning. I truly believe friends to lovers is the most healthy, pure and Innocent beginning for any romantic relationship.

✅ Emotional Interest. Has anyone seen this boy looking at Nicola? He is definitely emotionally interested in her.

I'm manifesting a Nicola photoshoot by Rachell Smith and an article that will go hand and hand with this one. That it will give some more clarity. Much needed for a certain portion of this fandom.

Anyway...there you go. I thank Luke for taking a leaf from his wife's book and sending us these messages in the language of flowers. As well as all the delicious bread crumbs throughout the whole article spread, photoshoot and videos. We love you Luke! Tell Nic Hi for us and that we love her too.

Luke speaking the language of flowers

I saw a fellow Lukola mention that the flower that Nicola is holding in the stairwell could be a part of a floral arrangement that Luke bought her for her big night at the Time 100 Next Gala. Which I wholeheartedly believe is the case. He doesn't need to like her photos on SM which doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things btw because he is there in person to show her love and give her flowers as a celebration of her achievements and a congratulations on her great honor.

Anyway, I decided to look up what the flower could represent and why he might have chosen that particular flower.

I believe all of the highlighted things are the reasons he chose that flower for his Nic, but I want to mention a few so this isn't too long of a post. I also just realized I forgot to highlight the last one. I really don't feel like dealing with fixing that. Just count that one too

Well, Luke knows Nicola is beautiful. I mean he can hardly take his eyes off of her. Of course we know it comes from his love for her.

Faithfulness:

I'm sure they are faithful to one another.

Joy/Celebration:

Of course both of them would have Joy at her honor and be celebrating it.

Marital Bliss/True Devotion:

People! *Squeak* I squeaked so loud at this one. I am flipping out at the possibility of him choosing that flower due to the theory that they are married now and are in marital bliss. I mean come on! We all see pure bliss shining and radiating off of Nicola lately. We have all remarked on it. We see the ring placement and his ring in the Glamour GRWM picture. In our heart and hearts we know why. Mom and Dad are making sure of that. Before anyone from the other side says anything. No they are NOT from JD. Two of Nicola's friends have made it abundantly clear that Nicola and JD would be inappropriate on SM and with everything, all the bread crumbs that Nicola and Luke have been dropping for the past few weeks it's not hard to know one HUGE reason and that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out why. Nicola has a husband.

That man is devoted and it's just making me sigh will happiness for them.

Faith:

That man also has faith in Nicola. He knows what she can do and what a powerhouse she is and I'm positive he knows she can do anything she sets her mind to do.

Of course this is all speculation, but my intuition says it's true. That Luke and Nicola have gotten married and Mom and Dad have been trying to tell us without telling us until they are ready to reveal it to the public.

You're very welcome, Fran. 💕 I'm right there with you with that reaction gif. I was so emotional doing this post. Their love is so amazing. We are so blessed to be a witness to it.

Luke's Floral touch to their meal.

Nicola posted a story picture of a romantic birthday dinner for two from last night. This post of course is just speculation. There are loads of clues as to who's with her. The photo taker seems tall, her smile is so obvious a smile she does with a certain denim blue eyed gentleman, it's a freaking Italian restaurant, the cutlery placement. There is some who even see something in the reflective surfaces. I haven't tried looking that close to that one. I am confident it's Luke.

Anyways...I am going to analyze the flowers in this post, because Fran asked me too. So here you go Fran, love ya!

I have looked on a site to see if there are vases on every table as a house decoration. There isn't a vase of flowers on every table, you can go look on TripAdvisor. So yeah, there is a vase of two medium sized bloomed roses here that likely Luke brought with them or asked to be added when making the reservation. There is one yellow rose and the other a red rose. The red doesn't look very vibrate red, but I am taking lighting into account here. The low romantic lighting would lighten it.

Yellow Roses

As you can see it symbolizes the core of their relationship. They are each other's best friend. It makes sense that he would pick this bloom. It represents the core of their relationship. Where it started. The friend part of friends to lovers. That part never goes away. The rest is just added. This is just his way of representing the loyalty, devotion and care of their relationship. I also like to add a spouse is a relative. Not to mention also a symbol of happiness. Spot the perfect birthday gift part.

Red Roses

Now on to the lovers' part of their Friends to lovers' story. It is a clear, like their connection is clear to those of us who can understand it, of their love. The symbol of a deep, passionate, romantic love. They are classic expression of love, longing and desire. As well as respect, admiration and devotion.

Yep, it checks, because like their characters these two are also friends to lovers in real life. Reel to Real, indeed.
