Since it’s canon now that Marinette basically treats her relationship with Adrien the same way she treated hers and Luka’s (but with more controlling and obsessive traits), and Luka knows Marinette is Ladybug, I think Luka should “run into” Adrien when he’s been ditched by Maribug and essentially take her place on the date.

Luka would let Adrien decide what he wants off the menu (no more pistachio and shrimp cookies) and Luka would pay for everything.

The saddest part about miraculous ladybug is the POTENTIAL it had, layers upon layers of interesting story:

- the love square dynamic

- a hero son and a villain father but neither of them know it

- marinette’s lowkey stalker energy (I wish it was portrayed better I think that could be so cool)

- Adrien not understanding how to express love in a healthy way

- Adrian being a SENTIMONSTER literally incapable of disobeying his father

- the whole concept of Chat Noir giving Adrian freedom and Ladybug taking Marinette’s freedom away

- Marinettes “smart girl, just crazy” compared to Adrian’s “dumb blonde, but pretty sweet” dynamic that we get every once in a while

All of it thrown away by trashy writing 😭

lukadrian: running away/playing hooky for a day(maybe a weekend). They deserve it.

yes yes yes yes i love prompts and silly stories and these boys and i've been wanting to write something silly with adrien crushing on luka first (with a luka crushing on chat ofc lol)

(it's after wishmaker, before season four finale, aka my Favorite time)

a/n: okay so it took me two months bc i experienced massive dread and amnesia and i wrote another fic and updated wato (mistake i guess) but now i have a full fic for it:

A snippet:

Luka stopped the moment he realized he was being watched, tugging his earbuds from his ears and turning to see none other than Adrien Agreste leaning against the wall, just off the Liberty. He shoved his headphones in his pocket before waving, “Hey there–”

“Hi,” Adrien half waved, as if expecting an invitation to walk closer, “You busy?”

He looked down at his bike, guitar in basket, and knowing he had both a backpack and helmet on, so clearly in the middle of trying to head to school, but Adrien had never just appeared like this– something had to be either very wrong, or very right, the former much more likely, “Not at all, something up?”

Adrien was clearly watching him as he leaned his bike against his leg to unclip his helmet, “I know you probably have class– I do too, but could we talk? Go somewhere maybe– just, forget about everything for a bit?”

“Yeah, definitely,” he said, too quickly, based on the blond's almost surprised reaction, “Do you have a plan, or general idea on what you want to do, or–” Adrien shrugged, tired and non-committal, “You ever played hooky before?”

He shook his head, “No, why would I?”

Luka couldn’t help but smile at such a question, “Fair– let me put my stuff down and we can go wherever–” 

Adrien followed him, more like a lost puppy, around the boat as he put away his school belongings, on the deck and down to his room. Hopefully, he wanted to talk, and Luka was desperately ready to listen, “Everyone recognizes me here–” Adrien eventually explained, unprompted, “People post me and my bodyguard and Nathalie track me down, my phone is being tracked– I left it at home, but it’ll take time for them to notice–”

“Then let’s get out of Paris,” Luka said, Adrien looking almost surprised, but genuinely pleased with his suggestion, as though he was already thinking it himself, “Just hop on a train and go where it takes us.”

Miraculous fandom, I am somehow entering again. I haven't seen a lot of new episodes, so my knowledge isn't really up-to-date, but what I'm gonna say doesn't require it.

Why aren't we shipping Felix with Wayhem? Wayhem's so cute and sweet, he deserves his own copy of Adrien. I feel like he'd be able to tell who's the real Adrien even if they were dressed the same way (the other one I think would be able to tell when seeing them side by side irl is Luka, but that's not the point), and I feel like Felix would find that interesting. Wayhem would want to know everything about them, he'd be so invested in them being polar opposits, and I feel like Felix wouldn't know what to do with that, he'd be overstimulated. Tho I don't know much about him, I have only seen him in that one episode, but I just feel like they'd be a perfect match. Adrien would ship it too.

This is technically a misuse of his abilities, but the feline hero fears he's far too nervous to act directly. Regardless of how hard he tried to keep his personal life private, the news that Adrien Agreste had made his move romantically would no doubt spread quickly. But Chat Noir didn't have such limits, he could move freely without prying eyes impacting his personal life. Running from roof top to roof top, he was able to navigate without worry of being stopped before reaching his target.

"Where is he..." Admittedly, he feels a bit creepy trying to locate Luka this way. The longer it takes, the more time he has to second guess his intentions. But before doubt had the chance to set in, the sight of familiar blue hair is enough to make Chat's heart flutter beneath his chest.

"Luka Couffaine," He greets the other from his perch atop a street light. Leaping to the ground in a fluid motion, he lands slightly in front of Luka. In his hand Chat has a small bouquet of red roses, which he then offers to the person he held such great affection for. "A secret admirer asked me to deliver these to you. I can't reveal who he is, but he told me that he's certain you'll recognise him in an instance."

Miraculous (Canon Divergent)

Luka was sitting on a bench under the streetlight, strumming his guitar softly to unwind after a long day. He needed to hear the sounds of the Seine water and the string notes. Plus he didn't have to worry about traveling far. He was only a few feet above where the Liberty was docked.

He loved his mom and little sister, but Luka treasured nights where the streets were silent to enjoy the view. Even more so when Hawkmoth wasn't on the prowl.

But speaking of enjoying views... he paused and put his guitar to the side when he heard his name being called. Glancing above he was pleasantly surprised to find one of Paris' biggest heroes (and his secret crush)...

       ❝ Ch-Chat Noir? Sorry to sound surprised but w-what brings you here? ❞

Luka knew the cat hero was always around this time a night patrolling, but he wouldn't ever dream of him actually greeting him like this. Let alone... bring him flowers? Roses, even?

The blue-haired boy had to shake out of his stupor before taking the roses with a 'merci' as he glanced at Chat with a small flush to his cheek. He knew it was a bit silly to have a celebrity crush, especially when the guitarist had his heart on Adrien.

Luka had a solid guess these were from the model himself as he remembered Adrien apologizing profoundly before of leaving their last date early with little to no explanation. He was just glad Adrien made safe from the akuma attack the other day.

But just... something about Chat seemed... strangely familiar. Oh sure he was suave, sweet and brave for protecting the city.

Yet every time he hears the leathered-cat's heart song... it was similar to...

... but it couldn't be...

... could it?

Season Three: Episode 7: Silencer (Silencer calls Chat Noir 'kitty' and no one ever talks about that) Episode 11: Desperada (the whole episode. no explanation needed) Episode 20: Party Crasher (Luka comes to party uwu, Vipernoir moment)
