The saddest part about miraculous ladybug is the POTENTIAL it had, layers upon layers of interesting story:

- the love square dynamic

- a hero son and a villain father but neither of them know it

- marinette’s lowkey stalker energy (I wish it was portrayed better I think that could be so cool)

- Adrien not understanding how to express love in a healthy way

- Adrian being a SENTIMONSTER literally incapable of disobeying his father

- the whole concept of Chat Noir giving Adrian freedom and Ladybug taking Marinette’s freedom away

- Marinettes “smart girl, just crazy” compared to Adrian’s “dumb blonde, but pretty sweet” dynamic that we get every once in a while

All of it thrown away by trashy writing 😭

Chat absolutely just nose-butted him because he is not as smooth as he pretends haha

It would be cute if, as part of taking the pressure off Ladybug, Chat helped with taking back the miraculous of the people he knows the ID of.

It bothers me greatly that Chat reacted to Viperion detransforming in Ephemeral, when LB knows he saw Vipes detransform in Miracle Queen. They were both right there, she removed the bracelet, he unified into Snake Noir-

Snake miraculous should be silver when it's not being worn shhhhhhh

Luka Couffaine is only in like, 19 episodes, so here's the list from the top of my head:

Episodes where Luka and Adrien Interact in Some Capacity (some ARE a stretch but I've had Lukadrien brainrot for literal years):

Season Two: Episode 16: Captain Hardrock (Luka introduction, iconic 'Welcome to the Band') Episode 17: Frozer (sure it's a bi-square ep but watching through a lukadrien/marigami lens is so fun)

Season Three: Episode 7: Silencer (Silencer calls Chat Noir 'kitty' and no one ever talks about that) Episode 11: Desperada (the whole episode. no explanation needed) Episode 20: Party Crasher (Luka comes to party uwu, Vipernoir moment)

Season Four: Episode 1: Truth (anytime he's akumatized and interacts with Chat Noir is so fun to me. 'do u love me? beat me up pls' also both times they really emphasize hand-to-hand combat) Episode 12: Crocoduel (no Lukadrien bc 'GOTTA KEEP ADRIEN AWAY' but lukanoir is a fave of mine) Episode 13: Optigami (a stretch, absolutely, but the idea of Luka coming to a model thing for Adrien is so funny and cute to consider) Episode 18: Wishmaker (Iconic, the whole episode. 'you don't want to be a model Adrien, i hear your melody' etc; kicking and screaming) Episode 19: Ephemeral (pls watch this with a Lukadrien lens, Chat Noir's shocked face at Viperion de-transforming makes me cackle every time)

Season Five: Episode 6: Determination ("He loves everyone and everyone loves him back, he's surrounded by love and has a hard time understanding it all") Episode 12: Perfection (the song one. You know how they look at each other at band practice) Episode 13: Migration (*through gritted teeth* "this way, CHAT NOIR can come help us" *shoves Adrien in the closet*, oh and of course "'what would I do without you")

The episodes Luka appears in that he doesn't really interact with Adrien/Chat but just merely appears:

Season Three: Reflekdoll (complimenting Juleka) Heart Hunter/Miracle Queen: (cute biking sequence, Marinette sobbing into his arms)

Dark Cupid AU - Unexpected Kiss (Day 6)

Ladybug had a plan alright... except it didn’t work. This time she goofed... leaving a confused kitten and a guitarist with a new crush that’ll haunt him for months.

I’m months late for @lukadrien-june, but I wanted to still get this idea out of my head, so I hope this is acceptable!

This is technically a misuse of his abilities, but the feline hero fears he's far too nervous to act directly. Regardless of how hard he tried to keep his personal life private, the news that Adrien Agreste had made his move romantically would no doubt spread quickly. But Chat Noir didn't have such limits, he could move freely without prying eyes impacting his personal life. Running from roof top to roof top, he was able to navigate without worry of being stopped before reaching his target.

"Where is he..." Admittedly, he feels a bit creepy trying to locate Luka this way. The longer it takes, the more time he has to second guess his intentions. But before doubt had the chance to set in, the sight of familiar blue hair is enough to make Chat's heart flutter beneath his chest.

"Luka Couffaine," He greets the other from his perch atop a street light. Leaping to the ground in a fluid motion, he lands slightly in front of Luka. In his hand Chat has a small bouquet of red roses, which he then offers to the person he held such great affection for. "A secret admirer asked me to deliver these to you. I can't reveal who he is, but he told me that he's certain you'll recognise him in an instance."

Miraculous (Canon Divergent)

Luka was sitting on a bench under the streetlight, strumming his guitar softly to unwind after a long day. He needed to hear the sounds of the Seine water and the string notes. Plus he didn't have to worry about traveling far. He was only a few feet above where the Liberty was docked.

He loved his mom and little sister, but Luka treasured nights where the streets were silent to enjoy the view. Even more so when Hawkmoth wasn't on the prowl.

But speaking of enjoying views... he paused and put his guitar to the side when he heard his name being called. Glancing above he was pleasantly surprised to find one of Paris' biggest heroes (and his secret crush)...

       ❝ Ch-Chat Noir? Sorry to sound surprised but w-what brings you here? ❞

Luka knew the cat hero was always around this time a night patrolling, but he wouldn't ever dream of him actually greeting him like this. Let alone... bring him flowers? Roses, even?

The blue-haired boy had to shake out of his stupor before taking the roses with a 'merci' as he glanced at Chat with a small flush to his cheek. He knew it was a bit silly to have a celebrity crush, especially when the guitarist had his heart on Adrien.

Luka had a solid guess these were from the model himself as he remembered Adrien apologizing profoundly before of leaving their last date early with little to no explanation. He was just glad Adrien made safe from the akuma attack the other day.

But just... something about Chat seemed... strangely familiar. Oh sure he was suave, sweet and brave for protecting the city.

Yet every time he hears the leathered-cat's heart song... it was similar to...

... but it couldn't be...

... could it?
