When in Punk Hazard Zoro had to carry Luffy, he was holding him from his mouth. I really don't know what's going on inside Zoro's head and why he thought this was a good way to hold somebody.

The exchange between them goes like :

Zoro tries to find Luffy, Luffy creates a ruckus somewhere and Zoro figure out that that is exactly where Luffy might be. Zoro cuts off something huge that stands in his way (creating an equal or even bigger ruckus.)

Zoro : Why can't you sneak in quietly?

(idr his name guy but I feel bad for him) : Sneak in quietly? Look who's talking....

Eustass : Does he know what he's talking about?

Zoro : Did you forget what the plan was?

Luffy : No, I remember! But these fools!...they intentionally spilled the red bean soup!

Insert a picture of Tama enjoying the red bean soup, which she had for the very first time, and the happiness she felt, especially because of the conditions and the whole backstory of the town and there not being enough food.

First Mate Aquired!

The future King of the Pirates somehow found himself turned into a baby and now has to find his crew! Thankfully a skilled swordsman (rattle handler) was right nearby and found himself in the same predicament. What shenanigans have they gotten themselves into?

(So I'm not that new to the OP fandom having started sometime last year and just about to enter the Fishman Island arc and I thought it was about time to baby-fy these little monsters! Also after watching the OPLA motivated me to draw them :)

As a slight difference between these babies and the past ones I've drawn, Luffy and his crew have retained their memories from their older selves so don't be fooled so easily cause these babies can still put up a strong fight!)

Now that I've caught up with the One Piece manga, I am rewatching the anime from the start and oh god...

This gives me SO many feels!

Luffy's "It's not about whether I can or not. I've decided to be the King of Pirates, so if i die fighting for that, that's fine with me!" ughh it will always be EVERYTHING to me!!! I remember kid me fell head over heels for this 'cartoon' right at this moment cause??? I love the "Watch out world here I come! I'm going to be the King of Pirates!" from the manga cause like that's so Luffy. Carefree. Brash. Goofy. But that soft, emotional thing was what i fell for and it still has the same place in my heart.

Luffy the Joyboy is so real! I love this silly goofy man sm who runs around pissing Alvida and her pirates like haha he's defo enjoying that! 'you see well actually i can stretch'

And..Koby and Luffy!! Stop I might cry they are everything!!!

@blackcat2907 I drew a little something for the one piece, Mihawk and Shanks family— wings au. It’s been eating my brain like gummy worms eat oreo mud.

below feather correlation—

I hope the feathers match their vibe.

Mihawk is a well groomed hawkish feather more mix dull-dark shades.

Compared to Shanks which is just all bright red from the shaft to the bards no color variation but less groomed then Mihawks.

For Luffy sea bird vibe and a rounded feather more for his general character style. As well as variation in shade from white to black for the whole Nika transformation.

 Zoro is a lot more disheveled and I didn’t want to make just straight green so stripes to break it up.

Uta looks like a song birds down, more tear shaped then straight, with striped striation of red, white and grey to break up the colors and represent her hair.

I also added Perona I know she wasn’t in the original ask but wether she becomes part of the flock later on or the universe goes ‘father hood be upon ye.’ like with Zoro. She’s looks like song birds tail feather with different shades of sort of marbled together pink and a purple shaft.

Luffy and Zoro are fucking smart, and the only reason a lot of people seem to think otherwise is because of a narrow view of what intelligence seems like.

Luffy:

Always thinking about how to use his Devil Fruit in creative ways

Understands political matters (speech to Vivi in Alabasta)

Most emotionally intelligent character in the series.

Amazing at recruiting new crewmates

Powerset requires great spacial intelligence.

Lowkey makes a lot of good tactical decisions.

Zoro:

Taught himself basic Haki in Alabasta. He hasn't even heard of Haki at this point.

Knows quite a lot about pirates and bounty hunters

Very good with numbers, even in flashbacks! Capable of remembering exactly how many duels he has lost.

Capable of thinking on his feet. (First two examples that come to mind are him testing Nami's character in Arlong Park and him moving the cage in Orangetown.)

Seeing these interactions of Mackenyu and Iñaki made realize how much I missed the Zoro & Luffy opla interactions:

If there was one thing that bothered Luffy about his vice captain, it was his drowsiness. Zoro was ALWAYS sleeping, especially during the times when Luffy most wanted him awake.

On a slow day, the straw-hatted captain wanted nothing more than to bother Zoro. He jumped up about the ship, trying hard to find the green-haired male.

When he found the swordsman, the latter was snoozing on the deck.

“Zoooorooooo!” The captain whined as he lay down next to the sleeping man. “Wake up!”

No response was given to Luffy, albeit a small snore.

The straw-hatted captain pouted as he sat up. There had to be something he could do…

In one swift movement, the black-haired male prostrated himself on Zoro’s back, hoping the added pressure would wake him.

To his luck, the sleeping vice captain barely even acknowledged it. He simply sighed in a breath and exhaled gently.

Luffy pushed all of his weight onto his torso, deducing that maybe that pressure would wake him.

Again, it did not.

Now, he was stumped.

In a fit of frustration he bit down on Zoro’s shoulder. Not too hard, but (hopefully) enough for there to be an impact.

Zoro’s eyes opened and his brows furrowed angrily. “Can I help you?”

Luffy’s eyes had stars in them as he smiled widely. He threw his arms around the swordsman’s neck. “Zorooooo! Come play a game with me!”

“That’s what you woke me up for? Seriously?”

“Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Come on! Nami said she was too busy, and Usopp doesn’t like my games… he’s a little scaredy cat.”

A muted “hey!” was heard from the other end of the ship…

“See I would, but I’m just sooooooo tired.” The green-haired male slurred as he started to close his eyes once more, a small smile of mischief making its way to his features.

“Nooooo! I wanna play a game! Wake up, wake up, wake up!”

Zoro fake snored rather loudly, quite literally a “honk shoo.”

Pouting, Luffy bit down on Zoro’s shoulder again, resulting in the fake snores coming to a grinding halt. “Jesus, Luffy. What are you- NGH-“

“I’m gonna bite you until you say you’ll play with me!”

“That’s ridiculous! Ask someone else T- HNG- To p-play with y-you.”

“No! I don’t care that I’m hurting you! You make me mad!”

“You aren’t hurting me, kid. Nothing you do can hurt me, just have sensi-tive… shoulders… is all….”

A light went off in the straw-hatted captain’s head. “Ohhhh sensitive huh?”

“Don’t you dare- L-Luffy! D-Mph! D-Don’t do that.”

The black-haired pirate sank his teeth into the man’s shoulder, adding obnoxious “om nom nom” sounds.

The swordsman’s teeth were gritted as his breaths became uneven. A dopey grin found its way to his features as he squeezed his eyes shut. “L-Lu-Luhuhuffy-“

“Haha! Big bad Zoro’s ticklish!” A voice chimed from outside of the kitchen door.

An attempt to glare at the blonde chef ended in a snort when the captain’s teeth sank into his upper back. “W-Would you q-quihihit that.”

A little gremlin laugh from behind him answered his question.

Maybe he should’ve just played a game with Luffy after all…
