Been at Lucca Comics and Games today. Showing off my Warhammer 40k cosplay. The project started as a 14th century houppelande, but everything can be a 40k cosplay if you slap a few purity seals on it, right? Then the ahistorical bits are a choice. Please note the pointed arches at the sleeves!

Made the dress, the headdress, the pouch, the purity seals and the woven bands on the headdress, purse and shoelaces myself.

Very happy with how this turned out. Got complimented and photographed a lot. It was a pretty warm day though, even for tuscany, and I made this out of wool and silk. Yeah, gonna have an overload later. But Lucca was great. Well worth the trouble of getting there.

Tamagotchi Booth at 2023 Lucca Comics and Games

We already knew that Bandai Italy was attending the 2023 Lucca Comics and Games convention this year. We anticipated that they would bring some Tamagotchi’s, and they sure did. An upgrade from last year it appears!

First the display is part of a greater Bandai booth, but a statue of Mametchi was there helping promote the new Tamagotchi Uni. The Tamagotchi Uni, Original, and Nano’s were on display.

Tamagotchi’s were also available for purchase at the booth, but we do not see any mention of the World Tamagotchi Tour, nor Tama Stickers. We also do not see any convention exclusive Tamagotchi Original shells.

It’s not a post about drawing, I know, BUT this is the reason I had to stop doing the Inktober this year. I wanted to finish my first cosplay for my first time at the Lucca Comics.

Bandai Italy Attending 2023 Lucca Comics and Games

That’s right, Bandai Italy is back at Lucca Comics and Games event this year. Lucca Comics and Games is an annual comic book and gaming convention in Lucca, Italy.

Last year Bandai did bring the Tamagotchi Original, Pix, and a bunch of collaboration Nano’s, Bandai Italy has just announced that they’ll be attending the event which takes place from November 1st 2023, through November 5th, 2023. If you are attending, be sure to post pictures!
