River: Sneaky sunlight, sneaky. -he smiled, pulling Lucas up to his feet, kissing him deeply to what he barely picked up as a combined aww, and applause.- Yes, I will marry you, you are my reason, too.

The applause around them was suddenly more audible, but what stopped it, and made it a more collective awww was when a tiny toddler was let off Flynn’s lap, and made a line straight for their parents, being swooped up by Lucas. 

Liam: Was I good? Lucas: Perfect. River: Oh, was I the only uninformed one? Liam: Yes, secret!

River just chuckled, watching Carl stand with Mel just watching the two. It was incredible how much things had changed since then, and now, he was engaged again.

Liam: Ring? Lucas: Yes.. Ring.. will you help?

He handed Liam the ring, River holding out his hand, letting his son wiggle the ring on his finger, noticing how it was a pretty band, in black and silver, with moons and suns around the entirety of the band.
