Your crime against Love is how unavailable you keep yourself. You wear your exclusivity well and proudly, knowing when to use it as a lure and when to use it as a repellant.  Always keeping yourself neat, tidy, and at a comfortable distance from any mess you might cause. 

What you’re paying for these crimes ranges from failed attempts at union now that you’re ready, the dissolving of an existing union, and/or a general sense of despair and hopelessness about love and/or life.

You stand accused of overstaying your welcome within your comfort zone. It has served its purpose as your sanctuary. Now healed, you’re being asked to venture out and pursue the things you claim to want. 

If you allow fear to keep you paralyzed, atrophy will creep in. By the time you feel comfortable enough to welcome Love in, you’ll find you’ve forgotten how to attract it (if you knew how to in the first place).

Your crime against Love has to do with your need for complete control. The space your demands take up leave little room for Love to grow. Some of you have taken advantage of a position of power; some of you have done damage with this power dynamic. 

The price for such transgressions are outlined as such: you are to bare witness to others succeeding in Love while you cannot + you are to be tested with false hopes that only your intuition and gained wisdom can guide you from.

lovecrimes (freestyle) - Chris Paris

Frank Ocean is one of my biggest inspirations and one of the main reasons I wanted to write songs, tell stories, express my feelings from past experiences. lovecrimes off of Nostalgja, Ultra is still my favorite song of his and I wanted to write and record my own version.
