Lets take a minute and realize...

Sora leans on Riku more then any other in his life. He NEEDS Riku to stabilize his emotions and he can tell him anything. They are really close and this kind of relationship is not often found within any other media. Riku has vowed within himself to protect Sora and lift him up...even in the darkest times and even if Sora THINKS he doesn’t need him.

SoRiku IS Love

When you care about someone so much you go out of your own way and disregard your OWN safety to protect them. You pull them back to their senses and make them realize that they ARE worth it by themselves and they need no one else to make them special....that is what LOVE is.

Consolation...

As I have said before... Riku is ALWAYS the one to make Sora feel better when he is feeling down. Its a given in the series by now and I DONT THINK THAT WILL CHANGE anytime soon. So get comfortable with it.

His eyes couldn’t lie...

Am I the only one who noticed that “his eyes couldn't lie” referenced to teaching Riku to follow his heart because the eyes will lust and the only thing he was doing while wearing the blind fold was helping to restore Sora’s heart....This is what he really wants. Sora’s heart. 

Also by turning into Ansem when removing it before he was ready was saying that he NEEDED to cover up his lust and fake anger and take a look at the real reason he was doing all the bad deeds....it was his jealousy.

The SoRiku Keyblade/Gayblade

Can we talk about the special keyblade that Sora and Riku have when their hearts join in perfect harmony for a minute (wow can a SoKai fan say that xD) First off this keyblade has no special name which strikes me as quite odd. It is simply called “The Coalescent Keyblade” its colors are RAINBOW and it turns into a blade of PURE LIGHT that can beat a DEMONTIDE of heartless. This is obviously making the point that LOVE can PIERCE ANY DARKNESS. The rainbow colors is making another point entirely but I will let you figure that one out lol xD *HINT GAY PRIDE* Not to mention there is a PAOPU precariously dangling at the end of the keychain :3

SoRiku in the menu art of Kingdom Hearts!?

Did you know that the menu art for the games are Sora slowly walking out into the sea? And what from the beginning of the first games opening what do we know is waiting out there engulfed by the sea?

In the first picture we see young Sora staring blankly out at the sea barely getting his feet wet at the edge of the water. In his hand is the stick that Riku left him with after he took the keyblade in the first game.

In the second picture we see a slightly more aware Sora sea salt ice cream in his mouth still cautious of wanting to move into the sea. This is probably him thinking he doesnt want to "dive in" because he thinks he and Riku are "just friends" ie the "sea salt ice cream"

The in the 3rd picture we see resolve as Sora finally steps out into the sea and continues to walk biting the paopu heading towards Riku (again the opening of the first game tells us this as Riku is out in the middle of the sea...)

Frozen’s part in SoRiku ...

When I think about the role that Elsa could have played in Kingdom Hearts 3 it always draws up a lot of emotions. It makes me almost HATE Disney for not allowing Nomura to do anything creative with her. And the narrative that Nomura was trying to drive WAS an IMPORTANT ONE. Sora and Riku could BREAK BOUNDARIES if the damn RESTRICTIONS would just be removed. Sora talking to Anna and noticing the similarities between ELSA AND RIKU was adorable and we all knew what it was getting at. you could FEEL the CONCERN and LOVE in Sora’s face. I’m really surprised the word LOVE wasn’t edited from this conversation all together to be completely honest.

Anna: “When we were little my sister and I were really close... I have to bring her home. (This makes Sora think of someone who he loved and lost that was his close childhood friend. Someone he had to “Bring home” for those of you who cant guess its Riku) You also CANT say this is Kairi when you compare this person he is thinking of to who Anna is talking about and the qualities that she has....Nomura was going to set up a situation in which Sora would again have to face those emotions he felt when Riku left the island.

Sora: Im sure she knows how much you love her (This is his response in which he can confidently tell Anna that it will be ok because he has been through this and he knows the person that is turning away from her still knows how much she loves her.) He must have have had a talk with Riku about this (off camera maybe) Does Riku know that Sora loves him? Ok sure you can say “they are friends and he is talking about that love” but what is Sora trying to say here? He speaks as if he confidently knows that Riku knew the whole time that Sora loved and cared for him when in fact that is not the case at all. There were several times that Riku doubted that anyone loved him. Or that he (Riku) was alone in the whole thing. So why is he telling Anna this? I think this is because he still has REGRET. Regret that he didnt have an active role in stopping Riku from leaving in the first place. And along with this regret maybe there is DENIAL. He is in denial that he let it happen and lastly but most importantly HE IS NOW IN LOVE WITH RIKU and that makes the regret and denial worse. He says this almost as if to reassure HIMSELF too.

so yeah there is a lot to take from this tiny piece of dialogue.

Seamless SoRiku and the “problem” with Kingdom Hearts 3′s story...

This shipping comes out so fluent especially in Kingdom Hearts 3. The nods of understanding and the complete communication that they have with each other without even saying a word is adorable to say the least. They really made it come off as if they WERE PART OF EACH OTHER.

I think that is why most fans are now saying “THE GAME HAS PROBLEMS ESPECIALLY WITH THE STORY” its because Kairi and Sora didn’t kiss and the entire game they were feeling uncomfortable because of their HOMOPHOBIA.

I post SoRiku to bring the community together...

I do what I do on this site to bring everyone who loves Sora X Riku together in a safe space to talk about what they love. This is not some joke to be taken lightly. I enjoy the presence of this community and its members and I enjoy being around people who share their love of this ship in return. Im not “trying to do something evil” in fact the exact opposite. People coming together to celebrate their similarities is the magic of loving something like SoRiku and becoming part of a fandom. Just had to address this and I love you all, you are infectious (in a good way) and accepting. *hugs for all of you*

My first reaction to SoRiku backwards Simple and Clean lyrics...

There are many truths in the world and each of us go on living in our own version of what is reality and what is falsehood. As long as we believe in something hard enough it comes through to be true in our own eyes. There are many factors that manipulate and twist this seeming reality forcing it to take a form of its own. Hidden messages deep within the submitted part of the brains recesses begins to take a grasp of everything we have hoped and dreamed, leading us to our salvation. Over one long weekend Utada Hikaru, Japanese singer and vocalist, granted my inner most wishes.    Sitting on the same old bed, surrounded by the same old scenery, I wished for the something more then the dreadfully bland routine of my everyday life. Not wanting to do anything, yet wanting to do everything, I squirmed with impatience and intolerance. Prior to that day I had just finished my journey through many worlds by the life of an animated boy who, he himself,held the key to dreams. He had many friends, but only one. He cried when he was happy and smiled when he was sad. He was a series of lines that each had their own computer generated depths, though he held the key to unlock my heart.    Playing the boy's theme over and over again within my head, something seemed to be missing from the words heard. He was fake, but all too real. "Simple and Clean" by Utada Hikaru. Was there meaning beyond the normal vocals and instrumentals? The song had described the relationship of the boy and his girlfriend, but within the world of pixelated images there was something faker still. The story of the boy's life until now, controlled and scripted by people he didn't even know. Even still, above the scripts and planned out actions, his real heart spoke loud and clear within the layers of "Simple and Clean."    Before I had caught on to what I was doing, I had found myself looking up "subliminal messages" from the very source of which "he" came, when something on the sidebar caught my attention. "His" song. The lyrics were not familiar, but also the same. The pieces that were missing were slowly and steadily taking form through the subliminal backwards lyrics of "Simple and Clean." It was the other half of "his" heart, the real half. The animators had wanted and forced him straight to be with the girl Kairi but his heart said different. "Oh no, not matrimo..he needs me," the boy was speaking to the girl about his other friend from his childhood. His male friend Riku. The only thing "real" to him.    Tears ran down my face and the goosebumps protruded on my arms as I watched my reality unfold before me. I had always felt that the boy had a stronger connection with his friend, Riku. I knew the smiles he gave his "girlfriend" were only by force of the animators will. The song continued to unveil my light that had been hidden for so long. "Wasn't he the Devil, miss? Of course. He is evil, see?" I gasped with sorrowful happiness, for at this point in the song the boy was desperately asking his girl, Kairi, for the truth when deception took hold. Kairi replied with a deception "Of course. Riku is evil." I knew that this was what the hidden message had meant. In the construction of the game, Riku was portrayed as the villain often while being the remembered best friend of the boy. My tears continued to spill for the couple, who had to hide their love, even from their own creators within the confines of the theme song played backwards.

SoRiku vs SoKai You Decide

When threatened to be pulled apart from Riku and Kairi, Sora thinks it appropriate to run straight into the ocean waves when it comes to Riku but Kairi? He doesnt even attempt to reach her.... Instead he accepts that he will be pulled away from her...this is where we get the lyrics “SIMPLE AND CLEAN IS THE WAY THAT YOURE MAKING ME FEEL TONIGHT” He NEEDS Riku in his life this is why we see him running head long into danger to save him.

Its not complicated...Its just SoRiku

SoRiku vs SoKai round 2...

Well, you tell me who Sora looks happier and more excited to see? Not to mention Sora only hugs Kairi after she mutters “THIS IS REAL” into his ear and then he feels OBLIGATED to hug her back. Its almost like she said it out loud to make not only herself believe it but Sora as well. Honestly this feels like DUTY VS PASSION (another theme Nomura was going to put into FF vs 13 and remember we will see elements of vs 13 in upcoming KH games) If you couldn't guess I will tell you...Riku is the PASSION and Kairi is the DUTY.

This isnt comlicated its just SoRiku :D
