So I just called my dad for the nth time during the day, because I'm suffering from dengue, and I kept telling my dad about my condition! So i thought I might be causing him a disruption from his stuff, so i apologised saying I'm sorry for disturbing you!

My dad said, " if you won't share with me, whom else will you go to! Don't think about it, call me whenever! I'm your partner in crime yeah!"

Was trying to be lighthearted and fun with my mom but telling her that I taught myself how to read wall clocks and measure the hour via the point of the sun when I was a small child so I asked if she ever taught herself anything and she said “survival”. I didn’t understand it at first and was like…did I teach myself survival?? And she said “I sure hope not. My only goal was that you didn’t have to.” Like hang on we’re not getting deep here tonight save the trauma for another day
