Was trying to be lighthearted and fun with my mom but telling her that I taught myself how to read wall clocks and measure the hour via the point of the sun when I was a small child so I asked if she ever taught herself anything and she said “survival”. I didn’t understand it at first and was like…did I teach myself survival?? And she said “I sure hope not.
