"Hula Hoot!"
They either dropped Louella McGruff -- while retaining her history and background and identifiable job role -- or they radically changed her appearance -- by which I mean hair color and doo.

Snow Way Out
The house-keeper Louella McGruff character fell out of favor. They do not have a set replacement character apparently -- the redrawings end up with random hair colors and styles.

House of -- ?
We have been here before. Meet Nick. Ginger's assistant. Who, near as I can tell, only accompanies her in stories where she displaced Cheryl. For that matter that's the only time she knows Louella McgGruff -- though to be fair, these are McGruff's only appearances in Cheryl comics too.
Murder is out. Now we can only infer murder. "Foul Play".
And this next panel is, I guess, a running joke.
As for this --
In the context of the Cheryl Blossom reprise -- Archie gets a relationship established with her dad. This never happens with Ginger Lopez's dad -- at least not that I know (correct me if I'm wrong) -- but maybe you can mentally just transfer them in from the reprinted Cheryl story.

Jason Blossom is now...
All right. So. Cheryl Blossom is now Ginger Lopez. The deceased and mock grieved over Aunt Melinda is now the deceased mock grieved Yolanda. The father and mother Blossom are now the mother and father Lopez. And who is Jason?
Jason is blank space.
Jason is not to be found is an elongated crowd scene. But Veronica is?
Jason is ... Maybe the personal assistant Nick introduced in the next installment of Cheryl Blossom turned Ginger Lopez?
Jason is Ginger Lopez. Voice wise. Visually he is more blank space.
Jason is not meeting Louella McGruff.
Jason's ego remains in statue form. Also he is his dad.
Jason is the dad. Again. Cheryl's sibling rivalry turns into Fingers daddy issues.
Perhaps because they did not meet, Jason becomes Louella McGruff.
Weirdest of all, Jason is Reggie Mantle.
Everywhere and nowhere. Nobody turns into everybody.
Update to note -- one Cheryl mention snuck through.

The Erasing of Jason Blossom
If Cheryl goes, Jason goes. And a quick work around on who this guy is that is standing next to the new Ginger Lopez. Nick. Not Cheryl Blossom's twin brother, but Ginger Lopez's personal assistant. This does raise the problem that Jason is established, with relationships around Riverdale characters. How do we solve that?
Ah! Betty erasure! And we double down on Nick's narcissism -- surely in future Nick stories a personality trait which will be explored. And the good thing is that Nick still gets to do the Fonzie with his left hand. The right arm does not appear especially intuitively placed, but what do I know? Nick is double jointed.
That band Roadkill sure get around. Playing at The House of Cheryl AND The House of Ginger!
