Tristan almost had to take a step back when Sean moved over to hook an arm around his shoulder. The older male was often times a little hands on, even when they were trying to tease him. Though he figured that would be the exact perfect time to be all touchy and close. As Sean had whispered into his ear he rolled his shoulders and glanced around  "What? You don’t think it adds some personality to the place?“ Looking around the room he nods "A lot of personality.” Stumbling away however, when Sean shoved him he laughed “ No. I think you are scared.” Tristan pressed again “Then again, I guess you haven’t been as exposed to the supposed ‘concerning’ behavior, as long as my mother and I have." Staring up toward Sean as they stood on the staircase he listened to the others comment, muttering "Muffin?…Pff. Why would anyone want to be cool.”  As Sean finished talking Tristan flipped him off “ Hello Kitty isn’t even that bad, bitch. Badtz-Maru was the best character. And as far as anime girls go…Though that would be nice. I’ve got real anime covers.  Neon Genesis Evangelion, Studio Ghibli, Pokemon, Digimon- You are just too cool for any of that though.”

Muttering a bit to himself about where to set up the posters Tristan got a little lost in his own head for a moment as he glanced around the room holding up a Grave of The Fireflies poster in one hand “ The poster for this one should probably hand somewhere like…” He jumped off the bed then and walked across the room, paying Sean no mind as the other hung out near the door. Sticking the poster to the wall “ Perfect.” Running a hand over it he flattened into to the wall before turning to go grab another poster. Though when Sean spoke he rolled his eyes “ Oh right. I’m sorry. You are too cool to understand the nuances of such things.” Turning sharply toward Sean then he laughed and gestured to the entire room “ See, this is what one calls adding some personality. Cool people generally only fit one or two personalities. And apparently you’re the type of personality to not put anything on your walls. -At least any one you get up into your room won’t need to ask too many questions about your likes and preferences.” Tristan teased back.  Grabbing a book from near the pile of posters he lifts it up “ This is called a book, Sean. If you have them in your room, some people think you read, and think that’s hot.”  He then made a face “ Tell me he didn’t do that, ugh, dude…A stuffed beaver…That’s going to ruin the entire look.”

Once he had finished up with the aesthetic of his room, or at least some of it, Tristan was heading out with Sean and Mary to the midway. Of course, Sean had come via motorcycle because his Cool Guy syndrome was acting up again and he didn’t want to look like a complete dork riding around with his mother. Tristan couldn’t help looking in the rear view mirror and thinking ’ what a dork’ however, every time he had seen Sean swerve back and forth as they made their way down the road. Looking out the window then he let out a breath, wondering what on earth they were going to see of the place after dark anyway. Once there however he didn’t care what time it was, because something had caught his eye as he was walking with the other two, only for his mother to separate off on her own. So he supposed he would just stick to Sean, being the cool guy that the other was, he was bound to run into something or someone entertaining. All the attractions and noise as well as the cause for the noise hadn’t been so fun for him. Tristan really didn’t care about any of that. However when Sean started to get closer to the source of music coming from sax player a few feet from then Tristan was looking elsewhere, spotting a shop, no not just any shot. But a comic book shop. Which ultimately got his attention and had him walking away from Sean, making his way toward the shop.

Seti had been walking along, Julian in hand, tightly and safely held to his side as to make sure the boy didn’t get lost along the crowd of hundreds of people standing around listen to the sax player. He had been heading for a higher piece of land, being too short to see anything over the heads of hundreds of people. Lifting Julian up onto a hip he smiled asking if Julian had been more comfortable and able to see the performance now. He wasn’t too interested in it himself, but Julian had asked to see what was going on. A moment later when he was asked to be placed on the ground Seti obliged and set Julian back down only to look over and spot someone staring at him. Was it awkward? Yeah. So Seti had smiled back, before turning his head away and giving his attention back to the performance in front of them. Tristan entered the comic book shop and sniffed around for a moment. It had certainly smelled like a comic book shop. There had been some brown eyed girl standing near the counter. It was like she had been in her own little world so Tristan had just snuck by and made his way toward the Marvel Comic’s section only to grumble “ Well, the newer ones aren’t something the bother with. I guess… They seem very…tame…What in the fuck is a Squirrel Girl…” He muttered before shoving the comic he had been holding back in where it had been and turned to continue looking through comics elsewhere.

Pulling up to the comic book store Asher looked back toward Darius, his personal favorite of the group, if he were to be honest. The other was such a great Second to his operation. Of course, he was also a great Second to his sire’s operations as well, look at all the hopeless teenagers he had managed to recruit into the the coven, after all. Smiling the teen shifted, getting off the bike. He looked around first, wondering where Seti and Julian had gone off to for the moment, knowing they weren’t really going to stick around with the rest of the group, they hardly ever did. He let out a breath wondering for the most part how in the world he had managed to pick up such disobedient fledglings. Looking to Darius however when the other walked ahead of him into the store he followed after, a few paces behind. He knew that Seti and Julian had been a hindrance on the operations he and his master had going on here. If they didn’t feed soon he would need to dispose of the both of them, and he didn’t want to do that. Asher had a persona, one of being annoying to some, and down right terrifying to others. He was, in a way, the groups leader. The one they looked to, and had for the most part, acted as such.

Smirking as he glanced toward Shay, upon entering the store. She had always seemed very unhappy with the group. But Asher just, for the life of him couldn’t see why… Being a vampire had been awesome, and it wasn’t like he was really hurting anyone, right? A small laugh left his lips as he thought that,…So maybe he was hurting some people. Maybe. As Shay had continued to stare he walked along, running his fingers along the tops of the comics “ Hello again, Shay, you look as happy as always, to see us. Your favorite customers… Tell me, are you ready to take up that offer, huh?” The offer to be a vampire like them, of course. Asher hadn’t been stupid, he could see that Shay would be a great number to their ranks. But the girl insisted she was some sort of hunter, or something. Pulling out a comic he flipped through it “ You know, it wouldn’t hurt you. You could at the very least give it a try, and if you don’t like it…We can let you be on you be on your way again.” Of course Asher wasn’t thinking that that would happen, someone turning wouldn’t want to revert back, right? Looking toward Darius he nods “ Don’t worry about them, Darius. They will come around, just give them time.” Flipping the page of a comic he let out a sigh before setting it back down and walking toward Shay as she stood at the counter “ Must you be so stubborn about these things, hm? We are all friends here, Shay. I promise. I will be good.” He crossed his heart and then laughed before turning toward Darius and walking away from the counter “ Let’s go, it smells like normies in here.” He had some recruiting to do, as well.

When things had boiled right down to it, Sean and his brother were close. There hadn't been much unintentional sibling rivalry between them even though, yes, Sean liked to tease him. In the end, they were family and that was all that really mattered. “Sure, if you are going for the personality of Peter Pan, the boy who never grew up” Tristan wasn't wrong, however, Sean hadn't had as much.... exposure. “You see, the fact that you know that character's name is what concerns me. The only one I know out of that bunch is Hello Kitty. Now, granted, Ghibli and Evangelion are pretty awesome – I'll have to give you that but I've always thought that Digimon is pretty much the K-Mart brand of Pokemon.” Not that you would ever catch Sean playing Pokemon since he had came out of Junior High School. Though, he had to admit he was getting a little impatient as Tristan continued to decorate his walls. “I'm too cool to keep standing around waiting for your ass to finish decorating your walls – would you hurry up? I'm not the only one that wants to go to the boardwalk and if you take any longer I'm asking mom to leave you at home.”
[7:55 AM] Soup:
Finally, after what felt like the slowest fifteen minutes in history, the three were headed to the boardwalk. Sean had been dying to see the place all lit up under the cloak of the night sky. There was a voice, nagging him in the back of his mind, telling him that something was waiting for him there. Destiny maybe? A cool half a million won at those off-handed carnival games? Whatever it was, Sean couldn't shake the feeling that the place itself was -calling- to him and he wasn't going to get there any quicker with his brother spending the better half of the evening decorating his walls or stashing stuffed beavers into corners. Sean had always been one of those crazy that secretly believed in that funny little thing called Destiny and the moment he had saw him, the feeling he had, couldn't have been anything else in his mind. There were dozens, possibly hundreds of people all around them but in that moment he could only see one. It was a pull, an attraction, almost animalistic and in that moment he knew he just -had- to know who that boy was. Sean wasn't usually like this, he didn't always feel like this, he just couldn't stop looking at him – waiting and wondering when he could approach him. Not -if- but -when-, Sean wasn't letting anything stop him from learning exactly who that boy was – once he stopped himself from staring at him in admiration that was.
[7:55 AM] Soup:
Shay was keeping her eye on the small group of men that had just made their approach, her attention pulled so firmly she hadn't even noticed a younger blond haired boy, an obvious new face in the crowd, looking through the comics and muttering to himself about Squirrel Girl. Darius had grinned the moment Asher looked back at him, his blood hot as he followed him in anticipation as to what the night was going to bring them. He loved the boardwalk, all the unsuspecting people the place drew to its core in masses – walking around and completely oblivious that they were nothing more than Happy Meals with legs to the group of vampires in the crowd. Darius had known exactly why they came to the comic store first – he understood why Asher had homed in on Shay, the thorn in their side that was better off -on- their side, she just needed a little convincing didn't she? “--- try my very least. You have a death wish Asher? I have already told you that you are your little pack of lemmings are not welcome here.” Shay had to be careful, it was the only reason she wasn't reaching for the stake she kept underneath the cash register. There were too many people around, innocent and oblivious people, Asher and Darius both knew Shay wasn't going to make a move unless they made a move first. Her look toward him had been narrowed, slender digits pulling tight toward her palm as she said one simple word to his little -offer- “Never.” He could flash all the pretty words he had wanted, giving her his little -pitch- until he was -bluer- in the face but Shay would rather die a REAL death than be turned into one of -them-.
[7:55 AM] Soup:
It was then, as Asher started talking to Darius, that she had noticed Tristan. She didn't want to draw attention to him, not with the group of vampires standing so close. He was exactly who they would go after, a boy, a new face who had no idea what was going on, a boy that was young, possibly naive, and completely on his own. “I'm not stubborn, I just know enough to actually -look- the gift horse in the mouth.” Shay had leaned in close to Asher, close enough to whisper her next words against the shell of his ear. “I have a weapon that will slide into your belly like butter, you'll become nothing more than sparkling ash on the ground that will be swept away come daybreak. You think your little group of recruits will survive long with you? You keep forgetting, all I have to do is find out where you sleep. Play nice little vampire, if you want to see your next moon rise.” Shay had eased away as she watched them leave, swallowing hard when she felt a shiver kiss the ridges of her spine as she overheard Asher mention he was looking for recruits. Shay had reached for a -very- special comic book at that moment, turning on her heels to approach Tristan. “You don't want that. You want -this- book. Read it. Study it. You never know when it is going to save your life.” That comic book? Vampires Everywhere. She wasn't lying when she said – that book was going to save his LIFE.
