To all my fellow old electronics enjoyers....

I've recently added another working mad scientist device to my collection of old electronics.

It's a marconi signal generator!

What can you do with it you might ask? well....

first of all he is an absolute beauty

just look at his dials and knobs and buttons and switches ...

He is a bit chubby at 30kg but lugging him around is definitely worth it.

And he is one tough piece of equipment. Got dropped multiple times. Got wet. Lost its protective coverings. And all it took to get him back to working order was a sex change of his power input.

But what can he do?

He can send Radio signals on all frequencies between 10-72000khz.

These signals can be a Morse frequencie at 400hz or 1000hz.

Or you can modulate a carrier wave via an external input

He is a bit stubborn as the input is 25k Ohm resistance so he is difficult to drive but my roommate an me managed to kinda do it he was also missing an antenna but for testings a roll of solder was enough to replace it.

And what did we accomplish with that?

well...

Yes yes that sound is coming out of the radio!

This old lad can still do it! We've transmitted stuff over the radio! Not much power at all we could barely receive it and had to turn the volume all the way up but it still amazes me that we sent music via radio waves over the air!

All in all he is one sexy frequency generator!

His tubes might not be as impressive as my big tube milf psu but he got it where it counts.

There is much more to tell about him and his siblings but that's for a different time when I decide to expand the personalities of my menagerie of cool electronics.

Wave Coding

The realm of sound waves and their unheard spectral projection of frequencial communicative encodation. If we were for instance to analyse how we listen to what we all refer to as music which I personally consider to be more like sonic installations and what we hear with the senses we associate with our transcoding of their coherence, opposed to what we don't decipher and see at the same time. I am expanding the dimension of waves through a scope of greater resonance where what we indeed hear is not what is actually being transmitted but due to the programming, we somehow have lost a super sense of decoding not just the codes hidden or enscribed in vocals or lyrics but too the instrumentalization of different elements or tools used to create sound. We now only structure music compositions based on a programmed mindset of generality in regards to structure and we have stopped venturing into the architectural variations of elements and aspects outside of the norm or status quo or even the commercial assignment of required foundations that have been simulated as the deciding factors of its trajectory to the masses and of course this in return has too programmed our interactions with it to the point we have rhythmically attached motions to its effect. Little to no dissection is done to its organic chemistry and we are consistently not aware of the underlying messages coded in its composition. Relative to a science, mathematics and linguistics, am of the view that as a multifaceted emporium, there variables of unfathomable faculty that remain both an unarchived archaeological fossils and an uncompressed neoteric state of the art embodiment. If our senses were either heightened or perhaps our super powers were activated, what we would hear, see and sense of sound waves would be completely different and this would alter our interactions with it for we would encounter and experience frequency on a whole different level of existential expanse as every fabric of reality would seize to remain an illusion and delusion that eludes our super natural nature which remains abundantly dormant. Sound has the power to liberate us and aid in our freedom or to keep us imprisoned in this programmed matrix. Frequency can be used to bend and erode time and space or it can be used to keep us all in a timeloop where space is frozen at a stand still. So the next time we create or even Listen to sound or music waves, we should be aware with great knowity that it is design mechanism and a technological engineering vibration with insurmountable capabilities and potential.
