BOTAN STOPS SNIFFLING just long enough to gather her thoughts. She wipes her eyes and focuses her sight on Yusuke. He's right, when she looks through him, the energy is different, stronger. She reaches forward and puts a hand to his chest, trying to be gentle. She can't feel his heart but there's something else, soundlessly thrumming beneath the surface.

"I don't know..." she admits. "I was sure your heart restarted but... it's quiet. Something's changed, or-- awoken? I'm not sure how to describe it but your aura has shifted," she furrows her brow, chewing on her lip. "I-I mean, you're alive, I can confirm that. Your soul is still anchored in your body. And I healed you, enough to stabilize you at least but I would expect you to still be weak," She feels helpless, unable to prevent him from being hurt and now unable to give him answers.

"Then you'll come home with me. My home is small but you can stay there. And someone there might have a better idea of what's happening, maybe I can ask Lord Koenma to take a look, he's been around a lot longer than me." Reikai is an island home only to yokai, surely someone there will be able to provide answers. And if not, at least Yusuke will be safe. While it's still part of Inazuma, the Shogun's influence is minimal. Enma's rule has long since superseded the modern rule but he remains on peaceful terms with the Archon. Botan stands hesitantly, walking into the ocean's shallows. She holds out her oar, touching the surface. A small rowboat appears, the vessel to match her oar. She walks over to Yusuke, offering herself as a crutch to help him up. "I figured this would be more comfortable than flying. You can lay down and rest on the way."

Her calling him a dumbass surprised him, in fact his face flinched the moment the word had left her lips. But upon hearing that there wasn’t anyone else around..explaining that people at the verge of dying tend to hear voices.

“I’d hug you if I wasn’t so bloody..” That’s right he’s bloody..he’s received the fabled divine judgment from the Raiden Shogun. A hand quickly rubbed against the scar that was left a dark crimson red..but..it’s as he feared. Still stings but the bleeding has stopped. “Botan..what’s..happening t’ me?” Honestly, he SHOULDN’T even be able to just walk around with a semi-open chest as if it was just a scrape and his own anxieties were clear on his face.

There’s the joy of being alive but the fear of not knowing WHY, hell if he were to check his pulls he’d discover that his heart wasn’t even beating anymore, it had been reduced to nothing more than a decorative piece within his body.

“I can’t go home..not like this. I can’t put my mother through this..not like the first time.” Although he wouldn’t be surprised if the Tenryo Commission had already issue a report of his death by the hands of the shogun…then again he wasn’t even a vision holder so, news of his death would bring little to no value. The town never liked him either though it was for reasons Yusuke himself wasn’t aware of.

Didn’t expected to actually like Yo-kai Watch (shadowside is good and og is.. stupidly good. Doesn’t make you think most fo time, but actually may rise your mood) and basically most of youkais in it are... not my type (sorry I prefer demons from SMT or Digimons), if not counting couterparts of some from Shadowside, but gotta admit that most of humanoid ones looks amazing and cool. And yeah some animal ones are cute too, but Lord Enma. I love him. And his Yami and Awoken forms

Since it looks like Joltik wont win this match, I'd thought I'd look at all the other competitors and see how I think a battle with them would go. See how well I did at making an overpowered fighter. If you think one of them would do better than I rank here, I'd love to learn the reasoning ^_^

Yo-kai Watch altered 30 day challenge Day 6

Favorite Shady Yokai: Hinozall

He is the creator of Yokai multiverse, maybe even the level-5 multiverse as a whole bringing the joys of video games to children that is not Nintendo, and my head canon is that he’s Lord Enma’s biological father cause both have awoken forms that doesn’t just consist of a rainbow aura.
