iD3 was born in Essex (England) and currently lives in France. The project of Leee Zimmer, iD3 is an electronic music producer and sound designer, who has worked with brands like Vivo Barefoot, Clarks shoes and Soul Of Africa.

iD3 started music in 2011 and released a few EPs and an album with Loodma Recordings. The artist's new EP 'Simple Beats' was released independently, taking its roots from iD3's love for other contemporary Beat musicians (Bonobo, Four Tet, Flying Lotus, Amon Tobin) and jazz music. For "Karma," iD3 collaborated with French singer-songwriter Enlia.

ID3's Hummingbird

В последнее мы достаточно говорили о разного рода джазах, блюзах, роке и прочих более-менее акустических направлениях музыки, но очень мало о ее электронных подвидах. И как раз сегодня нам под руку подвернулась одна маленькая, но очень гордая птичка в этом жанре. Помните Phaeleh? Так вот у него появился серьезный конкурент. Зовут его ID3.

ID3 — это проект английского музыканта Ли Зиммера (Lee Zimmer). Его первый EP «Hummingbird» вышел буквально вчера, 7 декабря, и он невероятно хорош. В него можно влюбиться только за потрясающе глубокий, упругий бас, ласкающий слух нежными прикосновениями. Этот бас, как профессиональный массажист, мягко массирует барабанные перепонки, добиваясь полного расслабления всего организма. В качестве массажных масел выступают щедро разливаемые прохладные капельки микросемплов. Нельзя не сказать, что вокальную партию в заглавной композиции исполнила Soundmouse, известная совместной работой с Phaeleh. Ее легко узнаваемый хрустальный высокий голос окончательно доводит пациента до состояния музыкального оргазма.
